In the heart of one of the marshier locales within the village, Fuyuhiro found himself engrossed in the teachings of the local academy, a petite scroll in hand. The parchment was but one of many mass-produced copies, each diligently cataloging the nuances of the revered *Fuuton • Wind Skating* technique. As he returned the scroll to its protective pouch tethered to his belt, Fuyuhiro's focus shifted to the intricate dance of hand seals required for the mastery of this wind-based skill. Opting for a deliberate pace, he initiated the sequence with a measured precision, a deliberate choice to acquaint himself intimately with each subtle movement. As a practitioner deeply rooted in Ninjutsu, the hand seals flowed seamlessly under the guidance of his practiced hands, their fluidity betraying the months of honing this fundamental aspect of the shinobi arts.

Yet, amid his progress, a recurring challenge persisted. The frequent glances at the scroll, a lifeline to the correct sequence of seals, were an indicator of a hurdle yet to be surmounted. Fuyuhiro acknowledged this as a temporary impediment, aware that with perseverance, the necessity of consulting the scroll would diminish over time. The seamless integration of the hand seals was a testament to his proficiency in Ninjutsu, but the reliance on external guidance was a reminder of the path still ahead. His reluctance to delve into manipulating chakra during this practice session stemmed from a prudent concern for self-preservation. The potential repercussions of a misstep loomed large in his mind, prompting a cautious approach. Fuyuhiro recognized the gravity of the power he wielded and the importance of mastering the foundational steps before venturing into the complexities of chakra manipulation. This mindful restraint spoke volumes about his commitment to mastery and the meticulousness with which he approached the acquisition of new skills.

Despite the awareness that the *Fuuton • Wind Skating* technique might not be an immediate necessity in Fuyuhiro's arsenal, there was an undeniable allure that drew him into its intricacies. As a practitioner accustomed to a stationary stance, adept at launching a barrage of techniques at adversaries, the prospect of fluid, wind-propelled movement fascinated him. While he recognized the pragmatic need to invest time in skills more directly applicable to his combat style, the allure of this particular technique held an inexplicable grip on his curiosity.

Fuyuhiro's rational side acknowledged the potential value of dedicating his training hours to something more immediately impactful in battle. Yet, the allure of *Fuuton • Wind Skating* lay in the uncharted territory it represented, a realm where agility and speed merged seamlessly, promising a potential edge in a life-or-death scenario. The nagging thought that perhaps this seemingly auxiliary skill could become a lifeline in the face of imminent danger lingered in his mind, a silent justification for his unconventional training choice. While his peers might question the practicality of investing time in a skill that seemed contrary to his established combat approach, Fuyuhiro saw beyond the immediate tactical advantages. In the ever-evolving landscape of shinobi warfare, adaptability was a cornerstone of survival. What might appear as an unnecessary flourish today could transform into a pivotal maneuver tomorrow.

So, despite the lingering doubts and the realization that his training could be more strategically focused, Fuyuhiro persisted. In his pursuit of *Fuuton • Wind Skating*, he found not just a technique but a philosophy – a testament to his commitment to embracing the unexpected and preparing for scenarios where that "little bit extra speed" could indeed be the thin line between survival and succumbing to the shadows of impending doom.

With the hand seals firmly etched into his memory, Fuyuhiro embarked on the next phase of his training journey. Deliberate and meticulous, he channeled his chakra through the intricate pathways outlined on the weathered scroll. The simplicity of the technique, at least in its conceptual framework, allowed him to swiftly grasp this aspect of the training. His proficiency with manipulating chakra, honed through months of Ninjutsu practice, manifested as a seamless flow that resonated with the wind's invisible currents. However, the true crucible of his training lay in the practical application of *Fuuton • Wind Skating*. The seemingly straightforward task of balancing on the ephemeral spheres of wind beneath his feet proved to be a formidable challenge. Each attempt demanded an intricate dance of muscle control and focused concentration. Fuyuhiro found himself grappling not just with maintaining equilibrium but also with the nuanced art of steering his movement and regulating speed.

The balls of wind, though ethereal, were a demanding platform that tested his every physical and mental attribute. With each step, he sought the elusive equilibrium that would grant him stability in this aerial ballet. Controlling the direction of his movement proved to be a capricious endeavor, as the slightest misjudgment threatened to send him careening off course. Speed, once mastered, revealed itself as a double-edged sword, demanding a delicate harmony between velocity and control. As beads of perspiration formed on Fuyuhiro's forehead, his determination eclipsed the initial struggle. Each stumble was a lesson, each waver an opportunity for refinement. The swamps echoed with the rustle of leaves and the occasional misstep; a symphony of nature intertwined with the shinobi's relentless pursuit of mastery. In this moment of struggle, Fuyuhiro acknowledged that the true essence of the technique lay not just in the execution of hand seals or chakra manipulation but in the symbiotic union between the shinobi and the very winds he sought to harness. His lack of control aside, he had successfully learned the technique.

*Fuuton • Wind Skating
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their ability to translate force (-3 Strength). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

In Kirigakure's shinobi caste there was a dedicated trade of scrolls between the Kaguya Clan. Many of the practitioner's of Death Bone Pulse were techniques that had been passed around by their peers in the form of scrolls that families made for their children When a Kaguya learned the technique, which was often difficult given the nature of Death Bone Pulse techniques, they would search for someone who had not yet trained that technique, who also had a family scroll that could be traded. The two would happily trade each other scrolls and pass on the knowledge of the clan's secret technique thereby.

Standing in the marsh Renji was holding a scroll that he had traded recently. His father had given him a scroll containing the secrets tot he Dead Bone Shackle technique, but simply Renji didn't vibe with that specific jutsu. Renji's adopted father was not at all in touch with his son, in fact he didn't care. He just wanted his son to have some degree of versatility with his Death Bone Pulse techniques. Renji was specifically focused on using the more lethal techniques. He considered himself to be a deadly swordsman and Renji practiced a varied style of Death Bone Pulse techniques and Iado. Renji was in fact quite deadly, but his father was wide and wanted his son to be more well rounded. Renji had no desire for that though, he simply didn't see it that way. Renji wouldn't dare waste his time learning a complex maneuver like that when he could go beyond the scope of his father's sight.

The scroll in Renji's hand came from his friend Ichigo's father. It was a rare technique that he had invented with the same purpose in mind as the technique Takato had given his son. Renji squatted down onto a log and unraveled the scroll.

The jutsu was called Spinal Tap. It featured a grotesque transformation of the bodies tailbone into a tail that burrowed under the ground. With the tail the user could shoot it through the ground toward an unsuspecting enemy, covertly, and launch a binding attack from the ground. Renji quite liked the possibility this technique represented. With his Elemental Ossification the tight wrap on someone's ankle could really damage them, maybe even cut someone's Achilles tendon. Renji loved the idea of violence. He was actually quite obsessed with combat.

Recently Renji had been considering just what he would do with his life. The village saw potential in him with his Sensory abilities. Renji had control of his Mind's Eye better than even jounin his own age. Of course that wasn't the path Renji saw for himself. The swordsman wanted to become a legendary swordsman of Kirigakure no Sato, he sought power to seize control of the Kaguya clan. Renji wanted to personally have a hand in the life changing prospect that was a Kaguya clansman's very existence. The Kaguya clan, as Renji saw it, were blessed with a delicate mantle on the precipice of life and death. He wanted to be the one who made easy living possible to the children tha twould be born to his clan. To gain the power he needed, Renji figured he would have to assume a more prosperous role in the village.

One day while Renji was mulling over this idea in his head he found himself drawn to a great battle. He had heard the oddsmaker of the battle versus Kozan and Mondai for the Seventh Swordsman position. When Renji found himself watching the battle he was absolutely enamored with the fight. Kozan absolutely destroyed Mondai and left him in pieces on the battle field. When the mist cleared Renji was certain of what he wanted. He planned on becoming a Dagger of the Swordsman.

Although, before he would try to join, Renji wanted to be a powerful fighter with a signature style that everyone could recognize. His natural venom was certainly unique and dangerous, but Renji felt like he needed some pizazz. As he read the Spinal Tap jutsu scroll he thought about that pizazz and decided he would make this jutsu his own. He just needed to think of how he would customize the technique.

Of course before Renji could customize the technique he was learning he would have to first attempt it. Once he had the basics memorized in his head, he had read the scroll about seven times in a row, he stood up from the log and prepared himself.

Renji began channeling chakra into his tail bone and forming bone around it. The bone began growing and shot out of his flesh. The unique flesh of his body folded over revealing an opening for the tail to find. The bone was remarkably dry and began growing longer in segments. It grew to about two meters long, and then Renji passed out. He hit the wet, muddy grass of the marsh below him. He was only unconscious for just a second but it was long enough to definitely forget what had just happened. He woke up feeling confused, but when he started moving around the skeleton tail behind him he remembered what happened.

This time Renji held the Tiger hand seal and focused his chakra more seriously. The tail began growing and Renji put it into the ground. The bones began spinning and Renji nearly passed out again as he exerted his strength through the ground and burrowed his tail through the ground. He had succeeded in the jutsu on his second try, and he let out a big heave of air. It was a lot of work and Renji was working very hard. A technique like this typically took days to perform, but Renji was a prodigy and it was clear by how easily he had performed the jutsu.

After a few days of practicing the jutsu and mulling over how he could make it his own Renji had come up with a way to make Spinal Tap a better jutsu. With some practice he was able to form two tails, though one was considerably shorter. He burrowed through the ground with the long one, and could use the second, short tail to whip at his opponent. It was a pretty efficient jutsu and with his Elemental Ossification the winds of his bones were especially deadly. Renji felt like he was becoming a more dangerous force.

For several weeks Renji came back to the log in the marsh. He was training his skills and sometimes the ossification of his bones was painful. He needed a place for quietness, somewhere he could scream and train his body. For many weeks people could see him heading toward the marshlands of Kirigakure for a long, four hour training session where he screamed and banged his bones around on the trees. Of course it was a bit silly to hear about, which no one ever did anyways; Renji was a very secretive and guarded young man. As silly as it sounded Renji was training hard and coming a long way. Eventually he got used to the pain of growing two tails and his skill with burrying his tail into the ground grew to be combat ready. Renji was working himself up to be a deadly force on the battle field.

He did, however, need a name for his jutsu though. After some careful deliberation he decided on naming it the Lashing Spinal Tap. He thought that sounded pretty epic and also described the jutsu very well. Renji was proud of himself and he could aptly add another jutsu to his list. His dad would certainly not be proud that he traded family knowledge away, but Renji was proud of himself and that was all that mattered to him.

In truth Renji only had official respect for his father. The kind of respect you gave to a teacher, or maybe commanding officer. Renji didn't like his father Takato much at all. The man had cursed him to a life of feeding on spirits. When Renji was born Takato performed the surgery that saved his life from the ossification of his bones, but he also put Renji under some kind of experimental procedure to alter his tenketsu. Renji had a mutant body. He could not eat food thanks to what his father did to him, instead he ate the living bodies of spirits and absorbed the life from their corpses in his bone stomach. It was truly a terrible fate, but Renji had to live with it. Of course he didn't have to love the person who had done it to him, and so he didn't Once Renji's mother had died and Renji moved out, the kid simply wasn't apart of the family like before. Or it was better to say that the family wasn't apart of Renji anymore.

Renji was practicing hard in the marsh. He actually had a whole box of scrolls to study. He figured since he did so well in the marsh he would come back to train. It was just a matter of picking out which technique he would train next. Renji was trying to keep a theme going. Of course that theme would have to feature all of his abilities.

There was a lot of skill under Renji Kaguya's finger tips. He was a talented Mist ninja with sensory powers that could spot out most living organisms hiding from him. Renji was also a capable poison expert with the Devil's snare. Of course these skills accentuated his kenjutsu skills, and using Death Bone Pulse Renji could easily control the battlefield from any range.

Picking out which technique was hard for Renji. He didn't know what to lean towards. In a way he wanted to practice a scroll-less technique, his Living Bone Hunger. He had the power to control the bodies of dead spirits he consumed, and that was a strong power but he felt like that would be too difficult for him. What power he had with that was hard earned and Renji didn't know if his skill with ninjutsu was strong enough to train those techniques. Of course there was also Iado, or the easy answer would be Living Death Pulse. Renji scratched at his scalp thinking about it.

Eventually he decided on training Iado. He was a genius with his sword and it didn't take much time for him to learn a simple discipline that involved sheathing his blade. It was easy for Renji to pick up. He used his hip bone as a scabbard for his bone sword and the motions came easily to him. Of course he did this training in that same marsh. He was growing quite accustomed to the foggy swamp. Renji made sure to visit it every day and bring whichever scroll he was training with.

With big dreams in his heart Renji trained hard to become a dagger for the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. He had a strong conviction to save the children and nothing would stop him from completing his goal. One day he would learn all the scrolls and have to travel the world to perfect his technique, but that day was far from today. Renji would first have to train with some of the most grizzly, loyal, and cruel ninja in the Hidden Mist village. Whether or not he had the determination to perform would be directly influenced by the effort he put into his training now, and it looked hopeful for him.

In the midst of the ambient sounds of fallen logs and the dampness lingering in the air of Kirigakure, Fuyuhiro found himself immersed in the creative depths of conceptualizing a novel technique. The damp earth beneath him served as a canvas for his thoughts, the whispers of the wind carrying fragments of inspiration. Yet, amidst this personal sanctuary, an unmistakable sound punctured the tranquil atmosphere – a sound that had become increasingly familiar in recent days, a cadence that bespoke the diligent rhythm of training.

Intrigued, Fuyuhiro carefully stowed away his rapier, temporarily setting aside his creative musings to unravel the mystery of the nearby training regimen. Instinctively attuned to the nuances of the shinobi world, he embarked on a silent pursuit, allowing the rhythmic echoes to guide his steps through the village's surroundings. Each footfall carried him closer to the source, the crispness of the air heightened by the anticipation of discovery. As he navigated the terrain with practiced ease, Fuyuhiro's senses honed in on the sound, dissecting its nuances like a seasoned tracker deciphering the language of the wilderness.

Soon, the familiar resonance led him to a clearing, where the orchestration of training was laid bare. His eyes scanned the scene, recognizing the telltale signs of a fellow shinobi engaged in the pursuit of mastery. Fuyuhiro observed, not intruding but absorbing the dedication and diligence emanating from the individual in their training fervor. This unexpected detour from his own contemplations had unveiled a camaraderie forged in the crucible of discipline and self-improvement. As Fuyuhiro silently observed, he couldn't help but feel a shared sense of purpose with the unseen practitioner. In the heart of Kirigakure, amidst fallen logs and the ever-present humidity, the symphony of training sounds became a unifying force, binding shinobi spirits in their shared pursuit of excellence. Stepping with measured intention, Fuyuhiro transitioned from the concealment of the foliage into the open expanse. He moved deliberately, creating just enough noise to signal his presence without disrupting the rhythmic cadence of the training session. The last thing he wanted was to distract the focused individual engrossed in their regimen, yet he equally sought to avoid the impression of clandestine intrusion.

As he emerged into the clearing, the ambient sounds of nature seemed to hush in acknowledgment of the shared pursuit between two shinobi. With his rapier securely stowed, Fuyuhiro navigated the space with a respectful awareness, his intent clear in his cautious approach. Each step carried a silent assurance that he harbored no ill intentions, merely a shared kinship forged in the crucible of discipline and dedication. Upon reaching the periphery of the training ground, he settled into a position off to the side, adopting a posture that exuded patience and deference. The rustle of leaves and the soft murmur of the breeze bore witness to his silent presence, a silent acknowledgment of the training sanctuary he had entered.

Unseen, Fuyuhiro patiently awaited the completion of the man's training routine. In the hushed anticipation, he marveled at the unspoken camaraderie that transcended words. The shared commitment to self-improvement hung in the air like a palpable energy, weaving an invisible bond between two kindred spirits navigating the arduous path of a shinobi. With an understanding smile, Fuyuhiro stood as a silent observer, his very presence a testament to the respect he accorded to the fellow shinobi immersed in the pursuit of mastery. As the final echoes of the training sequence reverberated through the clearing, Fuyuhiro awaited the opportune moment to make his presence known, a nod to the unspoken understanding that linked them in the shared journey of shinobihood.

In the woods where Renji was training it was especially noisy. There was an unmistakable presence in the air and Renji could sense that he was being watched. He didn't think it any crime for someone to watch a man hard at work and continued with his scheduled training exercises.

On this day Renji was working on his body's strength. As a swordsman Renji depended on his body's physical strength to protect him in battle, and to train that power Renji had lots of exercises. For one Renji utilized self-serving exercise methods, he did push-ups and pull-ups and all sorts of crazy exercises, but those weren't Renji had best to explain his physical strength. Renji practiced weighted sword drawing. When he was younger he would simply practice with weighted swords, but as he got older Renji better learned the process of ossification and he was able to create incredibly heavy bones out of his body. With practice, he learned how to forge the bones into swords and that was what Renji was working on when Fuyuhiro stumbled upon him.

Holding his hands together Renji began ossifying his bones and collecting the very dense, very heavy, bones in his hand. As the bone formed Renji began shaping it simultaneously, his years of practice showing off in front of the stranger. Renji began separating his hands and from his left palm, a bone sword stuck out. It extended in length until Renji snapped it off, with great effort. As he held it in his hand Renji's arm began sinking, the blade weighed only one hundred and twenty pounds. Renji immediately sheathed it into his hip.

For two hours Renji practiced raw slashing with his weighted, bonesword. It was very heavy and every one-handed draw exerted Renji's body to the maximum. He alternated between hands, ensuring that both sides of his body would be equal in strength. Renji was exceedingly strong for his size.

After his drawing session was over Renji walked nearer to the one who was watching him. He was within 10 meters from the voyeur and Renji began channeling chakra to his eyes so that he could activate his Chakra Vision. Renji wished to see the man's chakra signature. In Renji's opinion, you could learn a lot about a man by studying the way their chakra glowed. Sitting on a stump Renji looked over at the boy who was watching him train. They seemed to be just a few years younger than himself and Renji noted that the boy appeared to be an Aisu. The boy's raven black hair was remarkably dark in the morning light and Renji thought the kid to be exceedingly handsome.

As it would seem, Renji had attracted the attention of the highly respected, noble bloodline of the icy Aisu. Renji wondered what stroke of luck he might have drawn upon on this day, and waved to the boy from the distance. Renji was wearing his white tunic de out of cotton, and he had on a pair of jeans. Renji was sitting with his elbows on his knees and had a stone-cold expression on his face. Even in his friendliest moment, Renji was not one to plaster a smile on his face. The Kaguya lived life by the edge and he saved his smiles for moments of victory. He did however call out to the boy, "Hey there!"Renji waved the boy over."My name is Renji Kaguya, bled to Kawazaiwa. I've come to this forest for an epic training session," Renji held his finger out, from which a long bone senbon grew. Renji dug it into the stump he was sitting on. "I am a ninja. Tell me about yourself, since you have so wished to be here." Renji's tone suggested that he was amused by the one who had been watching him for so long. In truth Renji quite liked attention.

Fuyuhiro's nod was both respectful and poised, a gesture that conveyed acknowledgment without sacrificing his own dignity. "I regret any disruption to your training," he began, his voice carrying a tone of deference tinged with self-assurance. "While refining a new technique nearby, the sounds of your training piqued my curiosity." Proud of his lineage yet without a hint of arrogance, he continued, "I am of the Aisu clan, bound by blood to the esteemed Hirohito family, a connection I hold in high regard." His introduction was delivered with a blend of respect for tradition and a subtle assertion of his own identity. "You may call me Fuyuhiro," he concluded, his tone suggesting equality despite the difference in age.

"As a recent graduate of the academy," Fuyuhiro began with a touch of youthful enthusiasm tempered by a sense of responsibility, "I have yet to be matched with a rival or assigned an instructor. My family is currently in the process of arranging such arrangements to ensure the formation of a compatible team." He spoke of his accomplishments with a modesty that belied his potential, "Though I've achieved some proficiency in the Kettou style, my expertise lies primarily in Ninjutsu." There was a hint of determination in his voice as he continued, "My focus, however, remains steadfastly on mastering the intricacies of my clan's Hyouton element, a path I tread with reverence and dedication." Fuyuhiro's words carried a blend of youthful ambition and a deep respect for his family's legacy, hinting at the promising future that lay ahead for this emerging ninja.

Sitting on the stump, Renji was playing with the bone senbon that he had firmly stuck in the wood. He was digging it into the stump deeper and deeper with every breath the Aisu exhaled while speaking to him. Renji was in a high-guarded train of thought, having been training so hard for hours before the unassuming conversation he was now having. Renji looked Fuyuhiro directly in the eyes as the young Aisu spoke.

In reply, Renji said to the boy:"No disruption, Fuyuhiro.I enjoy the company, and it's good to be able to shift in and out of high-intensity training. Makes for hardened nerves." Renji stood up and gave the young man a bow and walked closer. He left the senbon tucked in the wood, planted halfway through the stump from Renji's fiddling."Congratulations on graduating. You will surely make your family proud, and any other ties you may hold will prosper, I'm sure. Don't worry about timing, just stay busy and everything will be in place. Be ready for your rival." Renji scratched at his chin, his fingernails were painted white. b]"My rival was an amazing sensor. I believe they're still a genin, maybe you will get the chance to beat them."[/b] Renji let out a dry chuckle.

When Fuyuhiro started talking about swordsmanship, Renji was intrigued by the young Aisu genuinely. At first, it seemed to be just a chance meeting between two ninjas, but the chance to talk about swordsmanship certainly pertained to Renji's training. He bent down on one knee and reached over his kneecap. Renji pulled a bone out of his knee, it was in the shape of a sword, and as it slid out of his body it made a sickening squelching noise. Renji propped the blade up in the air and then spun it before sheathing it into his hip. The handle stuck out of his side."I too am a swordsman, as you saw. Though you claim ninjutsu is your specialty? Interesting."

Renji was a kenjutsu specialist. He had recently become the Dagger to Kozan Shiimu of the Seven Swordsmans of the Mist. Renji was a very skilled swordsman, but he had skill in other jutsu too. Renji was born to the Kaguya clan under unique circumstances and his body was tied to spirits intrinsically. With jutsu, Renji could call on the spirits he had devoured and use their bodies for battle. It was a unique branch of Tenkujutsu that only Renji had access to, and at that moment he decided he was adept at that too. He was the only one who could utilize Living Bone Hunger, so he must be an expert at it.

Renj nodded to the boy and rested both hands on the bone sword's handle sticking out of his hip. "If you say you're an expert, I must take your word for it. Elemental shape change of chakra is a work of art in itself, so you must be an artist."Renji studied a compound elemental release too, Mist. He was always talented, but that was one of the things that required extra attention for him to pass with flying colors. Renji was more of a martial artist than a jutsu caster.

To show Fuyuhiro some of his special abilities, Renji began channeling chakra into the hollow bones of his stomach. Part of his ability to devour spirits and use Living Bone Hunger was thanks to the fact his stomach had been turned to bone. He summoned the body of a spirit he had once consumed, Hari. The spirit was a small yellow bird with a snake mouth and cat ears. It had a long lizard tail, and tiny, hummingbird wings. Renji summoned the spirit into the air around him. It flew slowly. "I have a special skill too, perhaps I am an expert in it."The bird began flying around Fuyuhiro.

With a quiet and forced cough, Renji cleared his throat and apologized to Fuyuhiro."I'm sorry, I spoke without further details of myself. I would like to share the same confidence with you that you have with me." Renji picked his hands up from his blade and held them wide."I am Renji Kaguya. Dagger to Kozan Shiimu of the Seven Swordsmans and chuunin of Kirigakure. I am a special project among the Kaguya Clan. I have been gifted with a great power, as you can see." Renji let out a rare smile and said, "A connection to my clan that I hold in high regard." Renji allowed the faintest semblance of a grin to escape his lips."I am skilled in a special utilization of Iaido practiced by the Kaguya Clan, known as Bone Draw. I also wield a strange power over spirits, as you can see." Renji wasn't smiling anymore. He took the Living Bone Hunger power very seriously, as it was tied to his life force.

Lowering his hands Renji sighed. "Truthfully this strange power is underdeveloped. I still must build my basic skills, if I wish to overcome Kozan." Renji's scarlet eye lit up with a fire thinking about his sensei. Kozan was fearsome, far beyond Renji's level of skill, but the teenager sought to grasp his prodigious talent and develop it further. He knew if he could do that he would surpass Kozan. Renji gritted his teeth just thinking about it. His current goal was to defeat Kozan in battle, and that was a lot of what had brought him to train in this certain expanse of forest.

"It's good to have focus, to aim your ambition. Keep that attitude up and you will become a chuunin in no time Fuyuhiro." Renji called to his bird with a mental command and it landed on his shoulder. "Show me what you're capable Fuyuhiro, you've seen my talents." Renji spoke in a cool tone, suggesting that he was willing to coax a performance out of Fuyuhiro one way or another. He stood about 2 meters from Fuyuhiro.

Though Renji was a combat addict, he loved fighting, he wasn't tempting the young Aisu to fight him. Instead, he just wanted to see what kind of Hyouton skills Fuyuhiro had developed so far. Renji liked to think that he was special and that only important people would cross his path. He wondered if Fuyuhiro would one day prove to be someone special. Renji watched his bird, Hari, fly around the Aisu. Hari had long since been dead, its life force absorbed by Renji, but there was something mystical and life-like about the way it tweeted while buzzing around Fuyuhiro. Renji found himself quite amused in that moment and he suddenly remembered he was supposed to be training. The Kaguya scratched at his white hair and coughed again at the thought of his relaxed demeanor. Renji felt comfortable, but he didn't to be too comfortable. He was honing his great skills and Renji believed there should be some degree of uncomfortability to that. As he stood there talking to Fuyuhiro he began condensing his bones and making them heavy. It was exceedingly difficult to stand there unphased, but he managed to do so. Renji was training his strength.
