[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Jagged Edge]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique causes cuts made by the weapon with this edge to produce a profound bleeding effect. A continuous debuff of [-8 Endurance] for the next five post. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Illusionary Blade]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique allows Hisato to forge a nigh transparent, crystalline blade that when swung appears to disappear to the naked eye due to its thin design and glass like appearance. This produces a S-rank stealth effect on the blade while in motion, requiring an opponent to have an equal rank visual perception technique to clearly perceive those attacks made by this weapon. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Glass Shards]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique causes cuts made by the special crystalline weapon to leave tiny glass like shards in the wounds it creates. These shards constantly dig deeper into wounds created by the weapon preventing normal regeneration techniques/abilities from being able to heal the wound alone, requiring advanced Iijutsu techniques to completely heal. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

*[Weapons Crafting - Reforged: Strengthening]
D-Rank Weapon Crafting Maneuver
The user uses their refined knowledge of special blacksmithing methods, their chakra, and other materials to enhance the capability of a weapon or item by increasing its [Strength] and [Endurance] stat by 5 points each time the technique is used on the item. Due to the crafter's level of proficiency, they are able to perform this crafting enhancement at half the normal cost.
Smoke rolled from the forge, a broad-shouldered figure with skin blackened slightly from the suit and smoke of the weapon shop lifted his brow as he eyed a young Tsukino entering the shop. This boy had been a customer a few years ago and then slowly kept coming by every couple weeks with a variety of questions. Though the older man found him a bit annoying at times, it was nice to find that at least a couple of the youths these days had an interesting in the creation of the weapons he wielded. The blacksmith had forged a number of powerful weapons, yet very few outside of the shinobi community even knew his name, yet Hisato had slowly been working to make friends with the old man, or at least not be chased out of his shop as he had his own person agendas at the moment. It had been this man originally who had been the only one skilled enough to forge the stranger meteorite crystal he had discovered while out adventuring and managed to meld and forge it into a dangerous blade that was unlike any other found within Kiri.

"Kid, are you here to finally learn something or just pester me with all those silly questions?" The old man by the name of Kas reached up with a dirty rag and wiped the sweat from his brown before turning his grey eyes in the direction of the swordsman. "I believe that I'm finally ready." With that he reached over his right shoulder and pulled out the crystalline sword that when swung seemed to become almost translucent and disappear from the sight of normal eyes. "I'm going to create a serrated edge to create vicious wounds on impact." The older man simply smirked and gave a half nod of his head as he stepped on the fan mechanism that began to increase the heat of the forge to a temperature that would melt even still. "Don't fuck it up then, I worked on to hard to forge that stupid crystal into something worthy of a swordsman."

"Whatever, old man." Hisato waved his hand almost dismissively as he dawned a leather apron and gloves, curling his tails up close behind him to keep them away from the heat and flames. With that the old man plunged the violet hue sword into the flames as it caused the veins inside the sword's structure to almost light up now as the boy began to word with a tiny tool every time it was brought out of the rolling flames. This process being repeated tens of times as the young man meticulously worked from the hilt of the weapon to the very tip of the crystal sword...

The old man kept a watchful eye on the process, ever so slightly shifting the weapon to stay in unison with the new blacksmith's movements as the shinobi inched down the blade turning the hyper fine edge into something more gruesome to those that would find their selves on the receiving end of it in battle. It wasn't normally something a smith would do, as most tried to create the sharpest blade to hopefully cut through all obstacles but for the fox ninja, who focused on pinpoint and well-articulated attacks, such a weapon would be almost perfect for that particular style of swordsmanship. Over the course of about an hour the two men began to work even more seamlessly with one another, but of course the majority of this effort was secretly on the experienced hands of the old man who prevented the tailed man from making any serious mistakes. After all, when one puts all their effort and will into forging something like the meteorite crystal sword before him, he couldn't truly bare to see it get disfigured by the newbie.

That wasn't to say Hisato didn't have any skills, quite the contrary. His movements were very calculated and precise, down to the millimeter even as he didn't even seem to blink during the process of enhancing the fine-tuned edge from his sword in that moment. After it was finished the sword was oiled and quelched before being allowed to cool for the moment as Kas checked over the handy work. "Well, it isn't to shotty, boy." He spoke with a masked laugh as he eyed the new edge of the blade, comparing it to his world as an advanced smith probably five or six years into forging swords. 'Too bad he isn't a true smith; his potential is pretty good.' Just as he was about to return to his own work order the boy gave him a smirk, piquing his interest as he pulled out a scroll. Undoing the scroll the boy summoned forth a very familiar piece of material, it was two more pieces of the meteorite that he'd managed to 'acquire' from others on the mainland. "What a surprise...let's continue." With the forge still hot the smelting process rapidly began again as the sword was reheated and this time so was the additional rare material. In the initial forging the man didn't have enough of the material to fully create the weapon's intended dimensions.

Soon there was the sound of a hammer striking something that wasn't quite steel, its sound reverberated differently as they actual blade portion of the sword was carefully refined by Hisato, of course this was under the heavy coaching of the old man who barely removed his words from the large ears of the fox clansman. Like before with the constantly heating and folding of the material increasing its strength while still maintaining its uniquely thin blade that seemed to become even more translucent than before.

The heating and hammering of the exotic crystalline material were a unique exhibition, the old man wished he had some of his young apprentices there to witness the forging, most likely this was the last few pieces of the strange mineral that they would be able to lay their hands upon. Shaking his head, even some of the man's close friends and peers in the smithing world would have given a leg just to see this stuff let alone forge something like this with it. But as the second forging of the weapon came to an end their was a small piece of the one stone left and a fist sized chunk for the second, which Hisato took in his own hand and then held the larger piece out for the old man. "Perhaps this will be enough to pay for your services for one more thing." A large grin grew upon the old man's lips and without a moment's hesitation he more or less snatched the space crystal from the boy's hand wish such speed even Hisato was taken back a bit. "Of course, how could I not help out such a young master such as yourself, eh?" Even as he spoke his eyes had not left the crystal, as if he was already contemplating what he wanted to forge from it or perhaps he knew someone who would pay an exorbient price for something like it. Who really knew.

"I'm going to try to use the rest of this stone to perform create micro shards." A doubtful look came over Kas face as he finally returned to his senses and tucked away the stone, "You're decent, but probably not good enough for that." A faint smile appeared on the fox guy's lips as he simply shrugged his shoulders at the old man. "Are you insisting that you're the only one able to do something like that?" Kas frowned and crossed his arms, "I created that technique, don't go messing up this blade on me!" After some bickering back and forth he decided that he would be the one, after being coaxed by Hisato, to perform the forging technique that allowed for tiny shards of material to be loosely forged onto the edge of a weapon, that would strip off when someone was sliced by the blade. These shards were like glass in the since that they would twist and burrow deeper into any wound created preventing it from quickly healing. Without realizing the man helped forge the last part of Hisato's grand sword, fully revealing the methods and application of the technique itself to the boy.

'So, that's how he did it. What a secretive old man.' The youth mused quietly to himself at this point, working both his hands and even tail at this point in order to keep up with the old smith's movements while trying to also memorize the detailed edge work under the artisan-like hands that old man had. Who would have ever thought that such a rough looking old man with his white hair and dark tanned skin with his calloused hands would be able to do such fine refinements. A few hours passed slowly for the young man, his muscles ached and sweat covered every part of his body by the end of the refining process under the secret technique the old blacksmith was using. 'How does this guy have so much stamina?' Between his own heavy breaths that swordsman couldn't help but surrender the fact that this old man was a monster in his own right when it came down to sheer physical endurance and the decades of work in this forge had undoubtedly been the reasoning. But ultimately, the two men worked in unison until the entire edge of the nigh translucent sword had been retro fitted with the tiny shards along its edge setting up quite the nasty surprise for anyone that was unlucky enough be on its receiving end.

The super-heated crystalline shard was removed from the fiery forge at least, the twisted veins with the sword glowed brightly in a lavender hue that radiated out from the mysterious looking weapon, one that seemed to disappear when swung even lightly around. "What a true sword..." He praised the combined work of the two of them, the old and the young coming together to create this masterpiece of a weapon. "Look at you, almost speechless at this old man's work. Haha." A wide smile was upon the black splotched face of Kas who brought his smaller hammer up over his shoulder for a moment and also took the time to admire the black, perhaps it was amongst his top three blades of all time in the hands of hopefully a future Kiri Seven swordsman. "Let's finish up..." "Hmm?" Hisato turned and looked toward the old man about to question his words before he shook his head. "I'll use some of this stone to finish strengthening your weapon before you go, on the house you could say." Who could refuse such a helping hand as the pair each exhaled a long breath and the flames started to roll once more...
