It was one of those nights for Aimi.

The sort of night that left him feeling numb and empty with an itch that simply couldn't be scratch. An existential enigma of a mood that propelled him from one foot to the next in his house from room to room until he resigned himself to laying down early before tossing and turning in his bed restlessly with arms draped over his eyes, fists beating into the floor and his mind a race of a thousand thoughts that he simply didn't want to deal with at that time. These things happened occasionally. A seemingly innocuous set of circumstances falling into one another like dominoes from so far down the line that there in the present he was left with a restless confusion as to just why he felt the way he felt. After an hour of tossing around on top of his futon, Aimi had had enough. Frustrated with his seemingly inexplicable mood, he sat up from his bed and stood up, stomping angrily towards his bathroom so that he could reapply the paint over his bruises. He was going out.

He got dressed in his usual attire and left his apartment building, stepping out into the cool, foggy night and wandering around aimlessly while he thought about this thing and that, realizing that it wasn't' what he actually wanted to think about and throwing it aside to move on to the next thought, this violent dismissal made physical by a sudden turn of his head. The problem was that there was a lack of a problem in the first place - what was it that was bugging him so much? He had no idea and it made him grit his teeth in anger, an anger that started to boil up in him simply because he didn't know why he felt the way he felt! His very existence felt erratic and there was no good reason for it to feel that way and it was downright pissing him off!

In his wandering, he ended up someplace he hadn't thought he would - outside of the Bloodriver Bar. He'd been here once before, standing almost exactly where he was standing now, looking up at the sign and debating to himself if he was going to go in. Before he'd come there depressed because of how his mission had turned out with Yuri in recent history. Now he was there with nearly blinding frustration without a probably cause. Was this just going to be his destination for any time he found himself in a less than ideal mood? He couldn't say, but he settled on one thing: perhaps some comfort food would cheer him up. Comfort food was always good. So into the bar he went, tight lipped, nestled browed and stern of eye as he made his way towards the bar, waiting to be served so he could order some kind of food.

It was one of those nights for Kanzo.

The sort of night that left him feeling numb and empty with an itch that simply couldn't be scratched. He briefly mulled over the idea of spending the night how he used to as a teen some times; a dip into the slums to play one of his many games with the scummy lot that called the place home. No. That wouldn't do, he needed a place to sort out his thoughts - not scatter them. Sharply he sat up in his bed, the silk sheets barely covered his modesty as it was revealed that he was not alone. Not one but three woman surrounded the business mogul. One for each flavor of the isle: a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead. Stretching his arms high above his head he yawned deep as his eyes lingered through his open window - the late night breeze slowly rolled past his rayon curtains. Moon-light provided the only illumination to the room, almost as if the night itself beckoned him. After a deep inhale he gathered his clothes and crept out the open window to the streets below.

From arm to arm he rolled his sleeves to further enjoy the cool temperature the land had to offer. In a singular fluid motion he smoothed his hair back to give him his signature look. Leaving his half-mask to rest around his neck he couldn't help but smirk, 'Feeling better already..' Without an actual plan he allowed his feet to take him where they pleased. Along his journey he took in the serenity of the village. Most civilians stayed clear of the streets, most of the working class was asleep - shinobi too; early to bed, early to rise sort of thing. The only ones who dared to run amok at this hour were common thugs and other hooligans - most of whom were already on the Hirohito's payroll. With the road ahead empty and nothing to fear from the small-folk that inhabited it, all that was really left for him to do was think.

Before he knew it he had walked all the way to a very familiar destination. 'Here again, eh?' Shrugging his shoulders he pushed forward and entered the renowned Bloodriver Bar.

It had been some time since opportunity graced him with the presence of the one known as 'Shi no Tenshi.' Since then business among other things held his attention until now. Entering the bar he took in the scene, quick head count revealed that it was filled with nothing but the usual suspects.. 'cept one. Curious. It was the seemingly stoic pale fellow that sat at the bar whom caught his eye. 'Haven't seen you here before..'

Sauntering over to a corner booth he chatted it up momentarily with one of his contacts that also frequented the spot. The cocky grin that sat upon his face was quickly dismissed into that of a scowl as the man handed over a much overdue debt that he had incurred with Kanzo. "You forgot interest, don't worry I'll tag it on next weeks payment," He finished smugly.

With a swift turn of the heel he made his way over to the bar and took a seat next to the younger Yamai.

"Enryuu, I'll have the usual."

A filled glass and a bottle of the finest whiskey were placed before him. Turning his gaze to the man next to him, "So," he began.

"Come here often?"
