[Graded]Preperations for battle.

Post by Das Kirb » Wed Apr 20, 2011 6:31 pm

Naka stood at the north wall of Iwagakure no Sato. The kage had assigned another person to come with her in hunting down the filth that stole Reiha from her. Who he was or what he could do was unknown. What was known, Naka was the leader of this pack, and the other pussies would either fall in line or fall behind.

Ginjiro and Coal were assigned one of their first missions outside of the walls of Iwagakure no Sato, making the chuunin very excited. So, so excited.

He didn't know exactly what he had to do besides escort this genin around and do some killing, but, he didn't care about that. He was just looking forward to the fighting and traveling, since that would be his true party, since he had been couped up in the tiny box known as the Tenma Compound. Even though, really, it wasn't THAT small, but, to a soul as free as his, he wanted air and some way to get out.

This would be that very chance~

Bouncing the entire time towards Iwa, Ginjiro had his bag packed with everything that he thought he needed, which included various dried foods, prepared directly for him, even though he was smart enough to know why those would be much more important for him. Even though his conscious on eating foods had changed a bit, he was still a predator, so any and all food would be welcome to him. He was dominant.

Even though Coal was somewhere behind him, the jinchuuriki didn't care too much about his guardian, since he was sure that not only Coal could protect himself, but he, himself, could do the same. Ginjiro was the main one here. His baby sitter could go do whatever else, in his opinion, even if it did contradict what he was ordered.

When the two finally got to the main border of Iwa, Ginjiro spent a bit of time looking around, until he finally saw the girl that they would be watching over while she left the village. Apparently, she was a Genma host, just as he was, even though she was much, much weaker and lower ranked than he was. She looked smaller too, making it even more obvious on how much he was better than her.

She wasn't a threat to his reign at all, even if she wanted to act like it.

As he was still a bit away, the boy yelled out, "HEEEEEEEEEEEY, LITTLE PERSONNNN, WE'RE HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

Sure, his entrance wasn't subtle in any meaning of the word, but, he did make a scene, and that's all he needed to do to assert his presence.

As Coal trailed about a quarter mile behind the heap of ADHD that was the Jinchuuriki he was entrusted to guard, the Chuunin's mind was still reeling in confusion over the mission that had been handed down to them. Of course he had expected to be paired up with Ginjiro for every conceivable mission that was tossed his way, but venturing outside of the compound? Or for that matter, out of the village itself?

"There's no way the Librarian's behind this," the young shinobi thought to himself as he continued trudging through the rocky terrain, hefting a pack similar to Ginjiro's. Though he very much doubted his included nearly as many shiny things to keep his mind preoccupied for the long journey ahead. "This must have been an order from someone higher up... Probably the Tsuchikage himself."

Coal couldn't help but feel a small pang of satisfaction at the thought of the Librarian being forced to release both Ginjiro and himself from his corrupt clutches. Though, he was sure that the bastard would resort to sending shadows to keep tabs on them at all times. The Librarian couldn't dare risk losing his meal ticket to supreme power, oh no. That would be completely out of the question.

Shortly after the Chuunin heard Ginjiro's less than tolerable greeting echo over the mountainous landscape, Coal came into view of his other two squad mates. His attire consisted of his usual clothing, but because the young shinobi may very well find himself confronted with people foreign to the village he included a very plain, light brown hooded cloak. Coal had always been sensitive about the way his clan traits made him look like a monster and he wouldn't allow something like that to get in the way of his mission.

And, as he approached the pair, the final aspect of this strange mission fell into place. "Another Genma host," Coal thought to himself with an odd sense of worry and curiosity. Sending both of their village's Jinchuuriki together in a mission didn't seem reckless until you considered the lack of protection they were being given. That protection being himself, a mere Chuunin. And what threw the young shinobi off even more was the purpose behind their noble mission.

Mindless killing. That's all the female Jin was interested in. And that alone made the Chuunin want to give the woman a piece of his mind, which would very well happen if she provoked him enough.

"God I hope she provokes me enough," he cursed with contempt.

Only a few moments after thinking this the Chuunin finally reached his squad mates and came to a stop beside his rambunctious cousin. His icy gaze locked on the female as he introduced himself.

"My name's Coal," he said with a polite tone that ventured on the edge of neutrality. Then he slightly motioned towards the Tenma standing beside him and added, "It looks like you've already met my emotional baggage, Ikkou."

Naka wasn’t paying much attention to the area. She was going over scenarios in her head for what she would do when she found the beasts she hunted. Each passing idea was more gruesome than the last. Naka adjusted her glove right as a rather nasty butchering passed through her mind. As the image scanned through her blood soaked mind she smiled deviously, praying she got to replicate it in the physical world.

”HEEEEEEEEEEEY, LITTLE PERSONNN, WE’RE HEREEEEEEEEEEEE.”

Naka’s glare focused a short distance down the road to see a strange looking individual coming towards her. Instantly her curiosity was flared as she beheld the spectacle of a person coming nearer. Her hands were ready to strike on a instant’s notice but her eyes couldn’t move away from his horns, green skin, or that tail. ”What the fuck did I get into now. Either way, this looks like it could be interesting.” Naka said under her breath

”You must be the one that Ishida-sama sent to help hunt down the missing shinobi that attacked the Iwa student and sensei.” Her head cocked slightly to see the one coming behind him. This person was a lot less flamboyant and a lot quieter. He seemed to have a constant air of uncaring about him. Better be friendly non-the-less. Honey catches more flies than vinegar. ”And you must be here to round everything out.”

Naka let them introduce themselves as she ran through the books she had read in the library, trying to figure out if they came from a clan she hadn’t heard of. Finally it came to her, a book she had touched on when researching the thing now in her. All she remembered was the name ”Tenma”. Everything else was a haze in her mind. Might as well try and find out as much as she can. If these two had any connection with the genma then the black haired girl wanted to learn as much as she could about them and what they could do.

Naka put on a smile that was only half fake. As much as she wanted to keep them in good graces about her so she could use them like puppets later, her mind couldn’t keep from wandering to the sonic bladed assassin that had taken her heart. Every time the face crossed her mind her chakra would flood and have to be forced back into its place. None-the-less, she needed to keep things civil for now. Blood would be shed later.

Ikkou and Coal Tenma, it’s a pleasure to meet you both. I’m Naka Moshi. If you have any questions you wish to ask please do so now. Otherwise we have a road to set out on, and I have rides that could help us.” Naka was of course referring to some horses she had “borrowed” from her missing girlfriend’s stables. That bastard of a father would never miss them.

This little girl was pretty boring. She was way too formal. It reminded Ginjiro about the librarian and how he made everything seem so sophisticated and borinnnnnng.

Though, she did seem sort of nice, at least, from the very start of this, she at least tried to act nice, which was a lot more than what the other ninja that the boy had met had ever done.

She could be lying, like a lot of his fellow clan members. The librarian warned Ginjiro about that, yes he did. There would be people that would lie and cheat just to get him alone and try to steal his Genma. That's why he had Coal around. The older Tenma made sure he didn't get into trouble, even if the age difference was only a few months. Hopefully this girl wasn't like that, but, you never knew. Ginjiro was much too gullible to trust people, which is why the cynic was helping him out.

Really, he didn't have much to ask, but, he really didn't want to ride whatever that she would bring out. Not only was it a bit humiliating for whatever it was , and Ikkou for even having to ride it, but, he didn't need that. He wasn't that weak to need someone else to carry him. He was the king!

"It's okay, little girl. I don't need something to carry me. I got this down!" he yelled at the end, making sure everyone could hear him, even if not many people, if any, were around.

Walking forward a bit, he shifted his shape into that of a honey badger. He really didn't want to do a whole lot on this trip, so this form would be best, so he could keep ahead a bit, while still being able to smell anything in the area, while also being a much better traveling form, since he got a bit faster in this form and was able to keep going for a lot longer.

It was a perfect fit!

[Honey Badger]
B-Ranked Kaerujutsu
Using the powers granted to him from Vorashu, Ginjiro will almost instantaneously morph his body into that of a honey badger. This gives Ginjiro powerful digging claws, allowing him to burrow into the ground very quickly. Additionally, he gains a very... odd sense of self. All sense of fear is completely wiped out, along with a sense of self. In this form, he's completely fearless and very durable and aggressive. As an odd side effect, any genjutsu that would incite fear instantly fails. However, those that would increase rage, hatred, and the like are able to affect him to an even greater degree than normal.

"Great. Now he's a badger," Coal thought to himself as Ginjiro refused Naka's offer in the loudest way possible before using his Genma's abilities to shape shift his own body. The jet black haired Tenma watched his younger cousin waddle up the path that lead through the mountainous terrain of Iwagakure with a single arched brow, clearly unamused by his complete lack of subtlety.

Coal looked over at Naka and said, "I appreciate the offer, but I prefer standing on my own two feet." Then his icy gaze shifted back to his energetic cousin as he added, "Plus if he bolts off the trail after something sparkly I don't want to have to worry about another mindless animal's safety."

A few lingering moments passed before Coal muttered, "I'm talking about the horse. If you didn't catch that, I mean."

It pained him to say it, but he couldn't quite get a good reading on the woman they were supposed to be escorting. Coal was naturally skeptical about people and their intentions for doing the things they did, and now that he and Ginjiro were out in the open the Chuunin found himself having a difficult time trusting anything or anyone.

And this female Jinchuuriki wasn't an exception by any means.

"So shall we?" Coal said as he adjusted the heavy pack hanging from his shoulder and set out after his clan's pride and joy.

It took a grand amount of self control to keep from instantly prodding and poking for how the boy turned himself into a badger. ”This should be fun, I’ve been paired with a boy that has shape shifting at his disposable and his bitch. No matter, before the end of the mission both of them will be my weapons too.” Naka thought to herself as she maintained the smile.

Suite yourselves..I’ll be taking two horses, one for supplies and one for myself, forgive if I’m not the fastest with my feet but we must travel fast.” Naka did a single handseal and vanished for an instant in a puff of smoke before returning around the corner shortly after with the animals in hand. One had some provisional supplies on it such as a tent and bedroll. She had packed two more as a gesture of good will. ”I didn’t know if you would come prepared for a several month long trip. It could take some time to hunt them down and bring back their heads.”

Naka let her mind slip once more to the raven haired dealer of death. Her aquamarine chakra began to flood her as anger and pain took root. Finally she got it back under control, mounted the horse, and set off shortly ahead of the two. The final thing she yelled back was ”Can’t keep up then step up. I don’t have time to be wasting. I’m sure you can easily move with me though, otherwise I would start to doubt Ishida’s wisdom.” With the thought of Reiha now flooding her mind, Naka was having trouble keeping the visage while she pushed the pony on down the trail.
