Haji had no idea how to go about working with a team. This was his first time working with a group. Even as a genin, he worked alone and had ultimately ranked up on his own to become the chunin he is today. However, his days of working alone were coming to an end. Just a few days ago, he was given the names of two genin that he would be taking under his command. Some kind of leadership training or a cruel joke. Whichever it was, the fact remained that he would have to work with these kids.

He shrugged as he awaited their arrival, just standing by one of the wooden dummies with his arms crossed. He had sent a letter to each, informing them to meet up with him at the training ground. He wasn't sure if he would have a battle assessment to see their skills or just a chat, but it was the first place that came to mind as one they should know. A part of him was a bit curious to meet the genin. He was interested in seeing how this would all work out. Perhaps having a team won't be so bad, perhaps.

Naka was fuming, her chakra flooding into the very ground she walked. The tenma that the kage had requested would not be ready to leave for some time yet. She was stuck in this fucking hell hole while her love was gone and possibly being tortured or worse. It more than infuriated her for just that fact alone, but that was just the tip of the cake for what was coming her way. The worst news came in a little envelope that contained nothing more than a simple sheet of paper. She had been assigned a team.

The feral girl made no motion to hide her fury as she approached the training grounds. Anyone with eyes could watch the aqua colored chakra simply flooding from her as her eyes reflected a raging flame. Naka said no words as her swords got drawn and tossed into the dirt and her daggers removed. Even in her anger she showed her signs of being unarmed, at least to the eye. It was something Reiha had taught her to do. Show no threat and people trust you more, a sure sign of being able to use these idiots like puppets.

Even though she stood unarmed she came no closer than 10 feet from the man, glaring into him like he was scum. Her voice seethed with venom as the few words she did speak came out hissing and raw. ”Moshi, Naka, beloved of Amaya Reiha and second member of the twin assassins of the stone. I’m here under Kage’s orders and nothing more.”

Yasu grinned. "Alright! I'm getting a team! A sweet, ass-kicking team!" Taking no long, he quickly packed and got into his usual ninja atire, and left home, running to the meeting. Rushing through the streets cheerfully, he paid no attention to the people who would watch him run like a maniac, as he was busy thinking about how his team would probably be like. Various extravagant pictures passed through his head, and soon he would be near the assigned place. However, hopefully there would still be time for whoever was already there to finish a brief conversation.

(OOC: Yeah sorry for the short post, I was tired and this was rushed, but whatever)

Haji observed the girl as she arrived and as she spoke. He could see this team working out perfectly well...

"Funny, I'm here on Kage orders too... Chikai, Haji," He introduced himself, though he got the impression that she wouldn't give a crap. He remained silent afterwards. He wasn't one for much talk and given the kunoichi's attitude, he was pretty sure conversation wasn't going to go well or last long for that matter. He was eager for the third party to arrive, simply to break the awkward silence and so that they could begin. He wasn't going to repeat himself or start over to accomodate the late comer, so a few more minutes woud be needed.

"We'll start in ten minutes, whether our other teammate shows or not," He informed Naka, well, more like told her. Now they simply waited in what would be the longest ten minutes of their lives.

Naka held her demeanor of pure rage as she went over a number of scenarios in her mind. This man obviously had known better than to try and be friendly so at least he wasn't a complete idiot. Their other team mate was also on a limited timer so it was obvious he was a man of getting shit done when it needed be done. Either way, if he was a douche or an Adonis, she wanted little more than she had to do done with him, and if he ultimately stood in her way of hunting down Reiha, he would be dead before dawn.

Naka did retrieve her weapons and re strap them now that initial conversation and pleasantries had been said. She also made an attempt at restraining the chakra that was flooding from every pour of her body, making the aqua colored light-show a true spectacle. Once everything was in order, she fiddled with the cat's ears on her head and sat down on a stump, waiting.

Haji waited a bit longer, but no one else came. He wasn't sure if the other one was going to show, but he couldn't just wait.

"Alright," He finally spoke up after the ten minutes had passed. They sure were long ones and he was rather glad they were over with. "We're not waiting anymore. We're going to begin," He told her as he took several paces away from her, placing them around 20 feet away from each other. "So get up and come at me, that'll be your test today," He told her as his arms laid at his sides, his fists clenched as he readied himself.

Blue eyes looked up from the dirt as they looked directly at the man that had just challenged her. It was almost a welcoming of death as she readied to move, wasting no words. Her hands made a fast seal, releasing the length of razor wire that made her so deadly. A few more hand seals and she was controlling them through nothing but her pure chakra. A final set and now they moved as fluidly and loosely as a horse whip. In a matter of a couple seconds held two 40 foot long lengths of razor wire in her hand and at the end of each a small ball, ready to be used.

Without sparking a second thought she launched her strike, sending one length directly after him from the right and another aimed down from above. Right at the last second she made a deadly move, aiming to show him exactly what she could do. A single seal sent the wires snapping like whips as they cracked loudly, signaling the increased threat. At the 20 foot mark on each whip a sudden changed happened, the last 20 feet were moving nearly impossibly fast, as if they had reached the end of a whips lash. He had better think of something else this would be a one shot showing.

Razor Whip
D-rank Ninjutsu
This can only be done after a wire control tech. Naka causes a length of metallic wire to become loose as rawhide. Naka can then use the wire as a normal whip and cause some hell. The wire still retains its metallic properties so if she were to whip it into an electrical box she would be electrocuted. This just allows her to move the whip as it were a rawhide whip.

Neko Raza (apprentice)
C-rank Nintaijutsu
This is a further enhancement of Neko Raza that allows Naka to control up to two fourty foot long lengths of metallic wire. Naka must maintain contact with the wires and they are capable of more complex maneuvers like up, down, left, right, and forming loops, and looping back.

Razor Flick
D-rank Ninjutsu
Upon utilizing a wire the user of this jutsu is able to cause the wire to flick at any length of it. This causes it to drastically alter direction at that exact point, making it act like a whip. This one way jump is exactly like a whip, breaking the sound barrier if someone is skilled.

Seeing her go into a handseals frenzy, Haj started his own. His first move was to mount a defense as he hardened his skin. He had to change his other move though once he saw the chains, opting for more defense as he raised stone slabs from the earth to protect him. If the whips somehow broke through the slabs, they would at least slow them some and with the hardened skin, won't do as much damage to the chuunin. He didn't stay out though, beginning to move towards Naka to close the gap, eliminating the long range weapons specialty.

D-ranked Ninjutsu
A defensive/ offensive jutsu of the Chikai clan. Performing a set of handseals, Haji uses his clans skin based ability in order to harden his body and protect himself from attack. This effect also allows him to hit harder, raising his strength (+1 strength) while lowering his speed (-1 speed) since the added skin mass slows him down.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Doton • Iwa Tate [Earth Element • Rock Shield]
Using the skills learned in Iwa Tate, the user would summon several large stones from the ground to come up around them. This technique protects the user from all side, unlike Iwa Tate, but can be broken rather easily by strong Taijutsu moves ranked C or above. Also with ninjutsu ranked C or above, except ranked D raiton or above.

Her wires came to their destination as they exploded with the pellets at the end, leaving the man’s rock wall completely destroyed. He was coming towards her, trying to bring the fight in close, fine by her. She was going to slice the shit out of him as he got closer, no other way to show what she specialized at than to see him in a body bog during this.

Naka’s arms twisted, bringing both wires to either side of the guy as she did a side flip, twisting the wires together tightly, and hopefully him inside them. Her hands were not idle though, another seal was made as she wrapped the wires around her wrist, waiting for the incoming assault. Either way, she wasn’t staying here. The back end of her wires dug in, with him in them or not, and she heaved herself into the ar, hanging a good 10 feet out of reach.

Razor Wrap
D-rank Ninjutsu
Naka does this to wrap wires around her arms, after a wire control tech that is. This is done without cutting her or stabbing her due to the blades or barbs being pushed away from her arms. Razor wire is dulled around her arms and barb wire has the barbs pushed away from them.

I got permission for this from Bane because of the risk of death. And because I get really easily bored.

If it was one thing Jinseie had been interested in, it was hearing about the village's newest big thing. He didn't know names, he didn't know faces, he just knew what most shinobi would have been told; That there was an important shinobi joining ranks and there had been a selection of Chuunin Mentors. Jinseie, however, had missed that because he had been training. As always.

So he'd kept his eye out. It wasn't hard to pick up on the only Chuunin selected for mentorship and he'd followed at a distance, a safe one of course, to watch the man. When he saw the duo of Genin, well, he wasn't exactly impressed...The Chuunin seemed like he could handle it. Part of him, the loyal part, wondered if he might help the village better by attempting to pick up a student or two; it would certainly be something he'd enjoy a little. Training with Kikei was interesting and someone human would be more receptive.

That said, watching from the side of the training grounds was getting him nowhere and he had been highly tempted to leave before the sparring started. That got him to stick around a bit and he'd lit his pipe, watching until the final move Naka made. That was dangerous. There wasn't a large enough of a gap between Chuunin and Genin to guarantee that they would be dodgable, especially since the technique the Chuunin used looked to make him quite a bit bulkier.

Jinseie's hands moved rapidly and the dirt to his right completely exploded as he grabbed the throwing star and swung it like a discus towards the collection of wires and moving bodies; The sharp rock flew like a windmill between the pair and slammed through Naka's wires, not cutting them but it's density kept them from cutting it. Instead, the shuriken slammed the wires into the ground between the pair and pinned them under the dense stone star, stopping her control of the wires and prevent from from coiling around Haji.

Jinseie, meanwhile, skidded his foot to a stop against the ground and lifted his pipe back to his mouth, exhaling the breath of smoke he'd taken in and watching again, hoping that was enough to remind her that it was a spar, not a deathmatch...

"Bad kitty. No treat."

Omoigu Ishi no Shuriken no Jutsu - [Heavy Armor-Piercing Stone Shuriken Technique]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Performing the hand seals and then putting their hand out, the user causes a large stone Shuriken to erupt from the ground and fly to their palm. The ground has to be directly beneath them and they can be no further than their own height plus 3 foot off the ground. The shuriken measures at three feet from one tip to the next and is made of pure stone, the tips sharpened by condensing chakra. It can be used as a melee weapon or thrown and due to it's weight, it tends to be very effective against armor. Due to the same weight however it tends to fly slower than a normal shuriken. It is capable of defending against normal attacks fairly well and it can take several weak jutsu or one medium strength jutsu before it breaks, save Raiton which can destroy it easily.
