A lone genin strolled into the restaurant with a look of happiness on his face. It had been a good couple months for Eko. He had graduated from the academy, recieved possibly the most beautiful weapons he had ever seen from his parents, and had just befriended an owl named Ikko. Yup, things were going pretty smoothly for him, and he was appreciating every moment of it.

He sat down at a booth and patiently waited for his server to... serve him. He ordered one of his favorite brands of soda and picked up a menu, looking for something that would go well with his mood.

Jubaku felt extremely happy today. He had just finished his pact with his first demon, er, demons. Now what could make this day any better? he thought to himself. He noticed that his favorite restaurant wasn't busy. Man, this is a great day, hopefully it gets better! He strolled into the place with a smile on his face. He was seated near a table with another boy similar to his age looking at his menu.

He is wearing ninja gear! he thought excitedly, looking at the other genin maybe we can talk? Only one way to find out. He got out of his chair and sat in a seat where the boy was sitting. "Hello, my name is Akumu, what is yours?" Jubaku asked politely.

Eko looked at the cheerful boy sitting across from his with confusion. "He must either be very brave or very naive to just walk up to someone and start talking to them. I don't think I could ever do that."

"Um. My name's Eko. Shichiyou Eko." He gave the other genin a smile and said, "Nice to meet you, Akumu. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Not really, I just didn't want to be alone," Jubaku said, "and since you are a fellow ninja like me, I thought it would be fun to have a chat with you." He paused for a moment, not sure of what to say. "So....... how is it going?" he asked awkwardly.

"Pretty well, actually." Eko replied honestly, it had been a good day. "So you're a ninja too? I should try to be more observant, I had no idea." Eko stared into the genin's eyes, and his eyebrows raised.

"Is that a clain trait or something?" He asked, pointing at the black marks on Jubaku's eyes.

"Yea, our clan members tend to have a certain.... unusual trait about them," Jubaku answered. He sat there for a few moments, not sure of what to say, so he he started talking about the day again. "So why is today a good day?"

Eko didn't know if informing Jubaku about his encounter with Ikko was such a good idea, but he decided that the information wasn't a valuable secret or anything.

"Well, I convinced this owl to become my partner." Eko said, grinning a little, "And I beat my brother in a spar. He's still probably stuck neck deep in the ground."

A waiter passed by the table and politely asked if the two would like anything to eat. Eko ordered a simple rice and pork dish. The waiter looked at Jubaku, waiting for him to give an order.

"I will take a grilled chicken with some melted cheese please," Jubaku told the waiter. Looking back at Eko, he felt the need to tell him what had happened to him today. "I made a pact with twin demons today," he said cheerily, "which with their help, I'll obliterate all my enemies." He got real excited again, bouncing in his seat from remembering the event.

Eko stared wide eyed at the genin with an eyebrow arched, "What in the hell is this guy talking about?"

"Demons?" Eko asked, scratching his head, feeling a little foolish even discussing the topic, "What kind of... demons?"

"Oh, you know, the vicious bloodthirsty evil kind," Jubaku said in a airy tone, "I can control them of course, so they don't cause too much havoc, except on my opponent's" he chuckled slightly at this. "It is not like I'm evil or anything, just the summons I control,"

"Oh," Eko said, beginning to press his back into the seat behind him to get as far away from Jubaku as possible, "I guess that clears everything up, then."

The genin tapped his finger on the table, trying to think of another topic before the situation got too awkward. "Even more awkward." Eko corrected himself.

"So, do you have a team yet? The closest thing I have to a team is my brother and sister. But I doubt they'll let us become an official team."

"Well," Jubaku started off, "my brother and me were thinking of trying to have a two man team, but you could join up with us if you want,." He liked this guy on the spot, deciding he would become friends with him. He thought about his brother, he might not like this Jubaku thought. "We have to get my brothers permission though, considering he is going to be on this team too," he added.

"Errr.... yeah, that sounds great." Eko said hesitantly. He wasn't nervous because of the genin sitting across the table from him, he was just a naturally nervous person. He didn't like the idea of joining up with two people he didn't really even know.

"Wait a second... brother?!" Eko said in shock, "You mean I'm going to have to team up with two demon guys?!"

"Yea, my twin brother," Jubaku said, "he is into demons a lot more thought, I prefer fuuinjutsu." He sensed his new friend being a little uncomfortable with him having a brother, "don't worry, my brother is harmless to most people," he said encouragingly.

"To... most people?" Eko asked, a little less nervous somehow. "Well, let's hope I'm one of those people." He said with a nervous chuckle.

The waiter walked by their table and set two plates in front of the genin. Eko thanked the server and ate a few bites before asking, "So, what do you specialize in? I'm a ninjutsu user myself, but I'm pretty decent at Tai."

"Ffffp brabab thruple," Jubaku said, realizing his mouth was too full to speak, he swallowed loudly before speaking again. "I specialize in ninjutsu, nothing more," he finished saying before digging in again. Jubaku had realized just how hungry he was. Taming a demon for your first time can do that to ya he thought, chomping down on some chicken. Mmmmm, chicken he took a long swig of water before dabbing his mouth, burping lightly.

"Alright, well, the sooner I meet your brother the better. I'd like to get started on a mission or two, I hear the chuunin exams are rolling around soon."

Running into the restaurant, where Ginjiro knew where his brother would be, he let out a loud, "HEYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He didn't wait for much of anything as he burst through the doors then ran up to where the other two genin were sitting. Not really caring for being polite at the moment, the Iwa nin started going off on his brother. "Bro, Igotthecoolestdemonever. Heissoawesomeandawesomeandcoolandstrongandawesome," he went on, only taking a breath at the end of each small sentence. "Muchcoolerthanwhateveryougot!" Finally noticing the other genin next to him, he greeted with a simple, "Hiya Mister!" then turned back to his brother. "Did you finish your pact?" he asked, finally taking a deep breath to regain oxygen.

Eko's face was that of pure shock as he watched his newfound friend's brother stormed into the restaurant and screamed at the top of his lungs, making everyone turn their heads and glare,stare,look confusedly, and spill their drinks in the same shock Eko was experiencing. And then the customers turned their heads to Eko and Jubaku, which made Eko put his hand to his forehead, blush, then advert his eyes.

The Shichiyou stared at the genin as he rambled on loudly about demons or something like that. "These guys aren't kidding... they actually associate themselves for demons." Eko had the sudden urge to bolt out of his seat and run screaming for the door. He began to guage the distance from his chair to the restaurant's entrance, "I wouldn't make it ten feet before they caught me ablaze..." he thought grimly to himself.

Eko waved and tried his best to smile, which only resulted in a hideously fake grin, as the genin greeted him briefly. Eko sighed when he turned back and continued jabbering on about pacts and god knows what else.

"I'm Eko, by the way." He said to the genin, "And maybe I should be leaving... wouldn't want to keep you two distracted and whatnot." The genin was about to get up when his stomach rumbled noisily. He slumped back into his seat, "Then again, I have hardly even eaten..." Saying this he shoveled in a spoonful of the food on his plate into his mouth.

"Yea, I already got my demon, and got a training session in with them too," Jubaku said proudly. "They are going to be one of the best summons the Tenma Clan has ever seen. After hearing Eko talk about not eating, he remembered he was hungry too. So he dove into his food, dipping his bread into the soup.

"Yeah, right! My demons are going to be so much better than yours!" Ginjiro had already eaten, so he didn't need to eat at the restaurant, since he only went there to tell his brother. Noticing that the other boy was dragging his voice, he moved behind him and started to poke him. "What do you do?" he asked, saying a word between each poke.

Eko shifted uncomfortably in his seat as the strange young ninja began poking a finger into his back repeatedly. "Uh.." He said, scooting farther away from him in the process, "I, err, well, I have these swords." He said, pointing at the twin hooked blades lying on the seat next to him. "I'm from the Shichiyou clan, so I can see through things like fog and darkness..."

The genin trailed off, trying to find something else to say, "I'm pretty good at Ninjutsu too. Oh, and I have a talking owl."

Jubaku laughed at his brother's antics. My brother is very ,er, imposing he thought, smiling at his new friend. "Don't worry he is not like this, some of the time," he tried to reassure Eko. He looked back at his brother, "stop poking him, it is making him nervous and probably violated."

Ginjiro's shoulder's slumped at hearing his brother's request to stop poking the other boy. He let out a quick, "Awwwwww," before responding to the other boy's statement. "Ninjutsuistotallythebestandbetterthanotherlametypes."

Eko smiled and nodded at the comment, "Ninjutsu is my favorite as well. But it can't do a thing against genjutsu..." Speaking of the art of genjutsu made Eko think about his sister and how good she was at it. He hated sparring against her, he never knew what was real or an illusion whenever they fought.

The genin finished off his meal and drained the last of his drink in one, long gulp. He sighed and patted his stomach, "That was great, just what I needed after a long day of training." Eko almost hated to admit it, but he could feel that he was already growing attached to the two brothers. Against all odds, they had won him over.

"Well, if you're all done maybe we should get out of here. I need to get to sleep kind of early tonight so I can wake up early tomorrow morning. I've still got loads of training to do before I go on a mission or anything like that."

Jubaku just plastered a smile on his face and nodded at Eko. "Yea, that sounds good, maybe we can spar sometime," he said. He pushed himself out of the chair, his food completely gone. He pulled out his money and left a nice tip along with the payment. "Well, I guess I should be going too, needing to continue training my demons and all," he said with a flourish, nodding once at his brother and once at Eko.

The entire restaurant watched Jubaku as he turned away to exit gracefully, and failed. He tripped over a seemingly harmless napkin and ran into a waiter. The waiter was holding a rather large cake, which comically flew through the are and landed right on Jubaku's face. All you could see was a large, humorous frown through all the icing, his face looking like it had a white icing beard.

It only took a few seconds for the thud to grab Ginjiro's attention, which was soon followed by a hefty laugh. "BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH!" The genin started to hold his gut as his laughs continued. Of course, he didn't care about the attention that was brought to himself, since the attention that was brought to his brother only let the situation escalate to an even more humorous one.

(OOC: I got stuck and dunno what to post after that. <_<)

Eko couldn't help but give his new cake covered friend a grin. Then that grin turned into an uncontrollable fit of laughter. The genin slammed his hand into his face to try to keep the laughter in, but he just couldn't help it.

"You... look like... some cartoon character..." Eko managed to say in between both laughs and short inhales of breath. The waitress who he bumped into was now trying to clean up his face with only a meagre napkin. A futile effort that made Eko only laugh harder.

"I have to get out of here..." Eko muttered before making a beeline right for the door. The genin threw the store's door open and staggered out into the street, nearly bumping into a rather largeish man along the way. He managed to throw himself into a bench and continue his laughing fit, which wasn't life threatening any more. Back in the shop the air had been warm, not to mention it had been very cramped. Out here the air was cool and refreshing, with only a few people walking by. Though many of them were looking at him like he had just grown another head.

"That was just too much..." He said, wiping away a stream of tears from his cheek.

Jubaku just stood there for a moment, letting all of the people's laughter wash over him. After he felt the waiter try and wipe his face a few times he pushed the waiter away. "Don't worry, I got it, just give me the towel," he said reassuringly. The waiter hesitated before giving him the towel, whisking off to find someone to clean the mess he made.

Just terrific Jubaku mumbled to himself as he saw the waiter walk away I try and make a graceful exit and look what it gets me, a cake to the face. Then he started laughing loudly, bringing even more attention to himself. Someone did tell me laughter was just a cover for nervousness he thought nervously, still laughing. He noticed h is brother was also laughing at him. "What is so funny, jerkface? Wanna see the inside of a cake?" he threatened.

The Tenma's laughter soon stopped at the threat of cake-to-the-face. "Heyheyheyheyhey, I wasn't the one to try to show off," Ginjiro responded in a please-don't-hurt-me-voice. "It isn't like it is my fault that you faceplantintosomeonelikeanidiot." As soon as the words escaped his mouth, he realized his mistake and bolted towards the door, not wanting to get caught by his brother.

Eko began to gain control over his laughter, which had now been reduced to a loud burst of laughter every once in a while. He could tell that his face was red when he touched his cheek. probably from laughing too hard.

He got to his fight and was about to enter the store once again, but was stopped when he saw the other Tenma brother making a bee line towards it.

"Uh oh..." Eko muttered, backing away from the door. "That other guy is starting to look angry."

Jubaku's face was getting redder now, a death glare aiming at his brother's back. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?" he yelled at his brother, running after him. I'll show him face plant he thought silently to himself. As he neared the door, he saw Eko trying to get away as well.

"YOU ARE GOING TO GET A FACE PLANT TOO, MOONY!!" Jubaku growled loudly. He focused on Genjiro and did a leaping jump, preparing for an epic tackle.

"Ön túl lassú!" Ginjiro laughed out, then proceeded to run past the epic tackle. Even though he knew he was slower than his brother, that didn't stop him from making use of the time from the jump till the time of the landing. "You'rejustjealousthatIdon'thitmyselfinthefaceallthetime," he taunted again and made a dash away from the area, since putting distance between himself and his angered brother was the best thing to do at the current situation.

"Looks like it's time to split..." Eko thought to himself as he watched the more spazztic brother dash out of the restaraunt, narrowly avoiding a pretty impressive tackle.

"Moony.... really?" Eko muttered under his breath as he made his daring escape, which happened to be turning left and running like hell. Though simple, it seemed to be working.

Jubaku went into a roll as his brother dodged him. He landed on his feet quickly before glaring at the two retreating forms. "I know where you live brother!" he yelled, "and when I get home, you better be prepared to die!"

But what do I do about Eko? Jubaku thought, pondering this puzzle. His anger seemed to be settling at the moment, letting rational thought through. He shrugged as he walked back into the restaurant, I will find him eventually.

He went back to the manager of the store and apologized about the accident, and paid for the remaking of the enormous cake that he had face-dived into. After all that unpleasant conversation was done he walked back home. Hell, Ginjiro might even be back by now.
