In the first half of the mission, they stumble upon a nest of giant spiders where they discover the remains of one of the expedition teams before having to fight their way out. Narrowly escaping the giant spiders, they continue their mission in search of the second team. |
| The Cultist and Their Plan | Amaya Tobikiri Ren | Members of Team 3 haven't been heard from since their 5th day in the catacombs. Initial search for the team has turned up no leads. The rescue team decides to follow the initial route of Team 3 and search for clues as to which direction that they followed. Eventually their search leads them to an area of the catacombs that is filled with "Spirit Realm Corridors", each protected by ancient fuuinjutsu. It is there that they are ambushed by a hoard of cloaked figures, cultists who intend to release the fuuin placed on the spirit corridors and unleash the spirits into this world. |
