Showing how the Mind can be Tricked

After a hard mission having to fight a genjutsu user Lacus knew that she needed to train in that area. Lucky for her the one she fought was just a weak genjutsu user, but this still effected her battle with nin. She knew of a very powerful genjutsu user that she went to the academy with so later that day Lacus went over to his house and asked him for help. The man was more then willing to help his fellow nin with this.

She brought him to a training ground for the sky guard, so that it would just be them here. She requested that he cast genjutsu, after genjutsu on her till she became more aware of them. He cautioned her at first wanting to make sure she was ok with all of this. She was fine knowing that her brain was about to be torn asunder, but this was for the greater good of everything.

The man made a few hand seals then looked her in the eye's. That is when Lacus had the strong urge to hurt herself, she knew what this was but she could not help it. She then took out a needle and stabbed her arm, this felt so normal for her like she had been doing this forever. She took out another needle and stabbed her self again. The pain felt so right, but her subconscious was trying to fight this so much. She then realized how pain is wrong, and came to her seances.

Lacus then removed the needles from her arm, and quickly healed her wounds. Though as she just finished the man had done a few hand seals. She then look at him, then she felt as if she was on fire. She thought her flesh was burning, so Lacus dropped to the ground and started to roll around trying to put it out. Though the flames would just not go out no matter how hard she tried. The pain felt so real, she was screaming in pain just wanting it to stop. It was almost to much for her to bare she just wanted it all to stop, but she told the nin not to stop no matter what. She needed this for the good of the village, if she could not get better at genjutsu then she is not worthy to protect the village.

Soon after many minutes of great pain she was getting used to this, and used kai. She had released herself from the genjutsu, but as she did her friend already had moved next to her. He slightly touched her. Out of a normal reaction she backed away, and that is when she started to feel hungry. This was odd since she had eaten before the training started. Lacus was also fine a second ago, that is when the hunger pains got worse. She had no Idea why this was happening Lacus was becoming weak and soon become very weak.

That is when she realized that she must have been placed under a genjutsu when she was touched. Though was to weak at this point to even try to kai, that is when Lacus fell to the ground. She was so tired and hungry she needed to rest, but pressed on. Slowly she brought her hands together and preformed kai. Almost instantly she felt much better, but the nin already had moved and slightly touched her legs. She had no idea what was about to happen though Lacus knew that her mind could only take so much more.

Soon she seen blood shoot out from the ground she jumped to try and avoid them, but was unable to. They had grabbed onto her legs, and pulled her back to the ground. This is what she though though as she landed on the ground. This was bad she could not move, and the blood somehow was sold and hurting her. The blood was wrapped very tightly around her legs, and she fought hard to break free but was unable to.

This though seamed odd to her since it was blood that shot up from the ground. That is when she realized that when he touched her legs that is when the genjutsu began. She used kai once again, and the genjutsu dispersed. By this time her mind could not take much more Lacus was so mentally exhausted, and needed to rest. Though the nin came at her once again this time he poofed right in front of her, and looked her straight in the eyes.

That is when she felt great pain in her chest, and had no idea why, she figured his genjutsu would be something she would see. Though this one was one that Lacus would feel, and her chest was in great pain. It felt as if as some of her organs was being stabbed over and over again, the pain was so great she fell to the ground. That is when Lacus realized that she was fine just a second ago, and this must be the genjutsu. So Lacus used kai one last time, and was released from the genjutsu. By this point she had enough for now and told her friend that she needed a break. So they both decided that would be for the best.

Lacus had had a long enough of a break, and she was ready to continue. Her friend that was helping Lacus with all this training was also ready to continue. Lacus stood up not knowing what to expect this time. Her mind was revenged last time and there was nothing she could do about it. Lacus hoped that this time would not be as bad, but knew that was not the case. In order for her to have a better concept of genjutsu, she would need to have her mind ripped apart.

This was all for her greater good, seeing how Lacus was lucky to this far to not have fought a good genjutsu user so far. Though Lacus knew that this would change soon. Her reputation is growing within Kumo, so the Raikage may send her on a more dangerous mission soon. At her current level, she would not stand a chance with a genjutsu user, and that is why she is undergoing this training. That is when her friend ready himself for his next attack, he made some hand seals.

That is when he threw a kunai at her, this was fairly easy to doge though. As the kunai hit the ground though she started to hear explosions all around her. She looked around her, but seen nothing that was exploding. That is when her friend threw kunai, after kunai at her. When each one of them would land she would hear another explosion. One landed right at her feet, and the explosion sound was so loud it hurt her ears. Lacus had braced herself to see if there would be any debris from the explosion.

That is when that it was not real. For if it was then there would be a hole at her feet, and things flying in her face. The explosions had to be the genjutsu that he trapped her in. The sound was all just an illusion to fool her. The kunai's was the triggers for them. Seeing the kunai flying in the air is what caused the sound when they landed. So even if she dogged, or blocked the kunai Lacus would still be hit with an attack. This was combining genjutsu with other thing. This was the first time she had seen this, and did not know how deadly it could be. That is when Lacus used Kai, and released herself from the genjutsu.

That is when she had looked up at her friend, and he and made a hand seal. Then a lot of clones was all around her. She started to count them, but they started to all move in a circle around her. They all had drawn kunai, and prepared to strike at her. Lacus though started to move to doge the clones as a natural reaction. As she moved Lacus counted about 90 clones, this was a lot so her friend must have great stamina to pull something like this off. Two of the clones charged her from her front, and so Lacus jumped back in order to doge them.

That is when another came from the side, so Lacus ducked as she landed. This was to doge that one, and then jumped to her other side to get out of range of him. At this point four of them charged her from all sides. There was nothing she could do, Lacus was going to be hit. As they made contact with her though all the clones vanished. She looked around, and not one of the clones could be seen. That is when Lacus realized that all the clones was just an illusion, that was meant to confuse her. If this was a real battle she may have died from that last one, and is glad to be able to train with her good friend like this.

That is when she looked at her friend, and he seamed to vanish into thin air. That is when Lacus thought she felt something at her feet. It seamed to be that a tree was growing at a rapid rate around her feet. There was no time to escape the tree, for it was growing to fast. It then started to bind Lacus, there was nothing she could do. It felt as if she could not move away from the tree that, has taken hold of her. She then seen that her friend was appearing from the tree, and had a kunai in hand. This was it, he was going to strike her down.

That is when she realized that no one in the village of Kumo had the ability to grow tree's at their will. So this had to be an illusion meant to detract her, wile the real person strikes. She ducked from the kunai using all her will. Then used Kai to get herself out of the genjutsu. She looked and seen that her friend did not move actually. Though if he wanted to her friend could have struck Lacus down with great ease once again. It had seamed that her friend was using more and more powerful jutsu's on her. There was not much she could do about it, but this was great training. She knew that if she had to fight against these genjutsu's later, she would be ready for them.

Her friend then made a hand seal, she did not know what to expect this time but it had to be powerful. That is when Lacus started to see feathers fall from the sky, she had never seen anything like this before. Her body then began to get tired, out of no where. Lacus knew that she was just fine a minute ago, with plenty of energy left. Though now she was very tired, and was about to fall asleep. There was nothing she could do to stop this from happening.

She fell to the ground her eye's were barely open, but she seen her friend start to walk towards her. That is when Lacus had realized that her body must be caught in a genjutsu, and the sleep was what it is. There was nothing else happening, so she knew what had to be done. She slowly brought her hands together then formed the symbol for Kai. That is when Lacus's body had her normal amount of energy again. She stood up, and then said lets break again, my body and mind are getting tired.

Lacus then looked at her friend, and then started to see nothing but darkness. She tried to move away from it, but where ever she went the darkness would follow. Soon Lacus was covered in complete darkness, and there was nothing that she could do about it. She tried to see anything, but she could not see anything for some reason. That is when Lacus felt something hitting her in the face. She moved back after the hit, since it did not really hurt her. She then felt another attack hit her in the knee, and she fell to the ground. That is when she realized that it was bright as day a few moments ago in here, and wondered how it got so dark so fast. That is when she realized that she must be in a genjutsu, but her friend kept on attacking her in the darkness. This did not hurt her, but more of along the lines as distracted her. This kept Lacus from being able to use kai, so she was stuck in the darkness. That is when she got an idea. As she got hit again Lacus jumped into the air, and then used kai. The darkness then dispelled. She then landed on the ground able to see everything clearly again.

Though by that time her friend had already done a few hand seals, and was charging her with blinding speeds. That is when Lacus felt something gently touch her, and that is when she could not move. Then Lacus seen a large cannon appear, and then it took aim at her. She tried to move away but it was no use, she could not move no matter how much she tried. That is when a die appeared and started to roll, Lacus did not know the meaning of this but knew it was not good. That cannon could go off right in her face and there would be nothing she could do about it. That is when the die finally landed, and it was a six.

That is when the die started to roll again, this frightened Lacus a bit since she was about to die. That is when the die landed again this time it was a four. Then cannon then moved and targeted her friend. This was bad now one of her friends may, die now in this harmless training session. That is when the die started to roll again, Lacus was scared that her friend may be killed. This urged her to try and get free to save him. That is when she was barely able to move, but it was still not enough to get to him. The die then landed again it was a three the cannon then changed back to target Lacus, she did not like this all at one bit.

It was as if someone was just playing a cruel game with them, and there was nothing they could do about it. That is when she looked at her friend he seamed to be very calm, like as if nothing was happening. This was very strange that he would not react to her having a cannon aimed at her. That is when she realized that they must be in a genjutsu, and he was the one that did it. Though that is when she seen the die starting to roll again. Lacus tried with all her might to move her hands so that she can kai out of the genjutsu. She was trying so hard that Lacus was starting to become tired from trying so hard to get free.

That is when the die landed again this time it was on a one, and the cannon then fired at Lacus. As the cannon ball hit her she fell to the ground it was all just an illusion and the cannon disappeared along with the die. By this point her body, and mind was in great pain from all this training. Lacus was almost at her limit, but she needed to continue on with all of this. She was just starting to fully understand how all of this works. Lacus just needed to push herself a bit farther to understand it all.

That is when she looked up to her friend and he had done a few hand seals. That is when nothing really happened, but then she heard a scream behind her. That is when she seen Tristan from her genin team, fall down to the ground dead. Lacus ran up to her and there was nothing she could do to save her. That is when she heard another scream. This time it was Rengeki he had been dealt the same fate as Tristan. She tried with all her might to save them. Though even with her vast medical knowledge there was nothing she could do. Lacus then started to cry because of her own weakness she could not even save her teammates. That is when she heard another scream it was Hayate this time, and he fell to the ground too.

Lacus then ran over to him to try and at least save him. She held him in her arms, and he was coughing up blood. Lacus tried as hard as she could to save the boy from a grim fate. Though there was nothing that she could do, he died in her arms. This made her cry so hard there was nothing she could do to save them. Lacus feared this the most in the world the ones that she was closest to would die and there would be nothing that she could do. Lacus fell to the ground and could not stop crying, this was the worst possible thing that could happen to her. That is when someone came out of the shadows, and it was her mother. She was holding a knife, that had fresh blood on it. It was the blood of her fallen teammates. That is when Lacus tried to get up and run from her but there was nothing that she could do.

That is when Lacus realized her mother died long ago, when the Raikage saved her. So all of this must be a illusion. That is when she used kai, and looked at the bodies of her fallen comrades. The bodies disappeared along with her mother. That was the worst thing she had ever seen so far, to be able to dive into ones mind to pull there fears was a great power. That is when she decided that it was enough training. Lacus thanked her friend for all the help and they both made there way to their homes.
