Lacus and Xingke

Lacus was on the outskirts of Kumo one day, just taking a nice walk. She was just enjoying how nice of a day it was. The sun was bright, with just a few poofy white clouds to give some people a little shade. Lacus was walking through the woods part of Kumo. The trees looked beautiful in the nice sunlight, and the leaves blew gently in the sight breeze. All around it was a nice day outside and one that she enjoyed quiet well.

As she went deeper into the woods Lacus started to hear some sounds. That is when she deiced to go and check it out, to see what was going on. Soon she came to a clearing where, there was a pact of lions attacking a panda mother and its cub. Lacus did not know what to do at this point, since the lions wanted the panda for food. Though the panda would die in the process, and the cub would die without its mother. After a minute or two thinking on what to do she charged in to save the panda.

The panda mother was fighting off the lions the best that she could to save her cub. Though she was out numbered, that is when a lion bit into the neck of the mother. Blood gushed out of the neck, and the mother fell to the ground. Lacus was sad to see what had happened as a lion tried to stop her. She quickly dealt with it though using her poison style to paralyze the lion. Though there were many more. The lions did not want to give up there food just cause it cost something its life. That is when one of them lashed out agents the cut, giving it deep cuts with its claws.

That was going to far for Lacus the mother was bad enough, but attacking a defenseless cub was wrong. With great speed she charged in and paralyzed the lion attacking the cub. Then grabbed the baby, and took off towards town. Lacus just dogged the rest of the lions on her escape away from them all. As she was moving though, she could tell the cub was wounded badly, and needed immediate medical attention. So on her way back Lacus did as much as she could wile moving. Once in town she got the best vet there was in town to help her heal the panda cub. They both worked on it all night to try and save the panda's life. Lacus had let its mother die, by not reacting quick enough, but she was not going to let this little one die because of her actions.

After healing the wounds the best that they could, and then stitching them up. They replaced the panda cubs lost blood. After all of that it was up to the cub if it was going to live from this point on. Lacus though stayed at its side not leaving it for a minute. She was very worried, since it was so young and had very deep wounds. She just did not know if the little one would make it at all. Lacus hoped though with all her might that it would be ok. The vet came in daily to give the panda cub nutrients with his medical jutsu's, and gave Lacus food wile she was there. He wanted to give her food out of kindness, but she paid him for everything that he did for them both.

After a few day's the panda cub awoke with a slight moan, looking over at Lacus. That is when she started to cry a little to see the cub had woken up. She gently petted its furry little head, and said that everything was going to be ok now. That is when she thought that the little guy must be very hungry. Lacus told the little one that she would be right back, and she went out. She went back to the woods and found some bamboo for the little guy to eat. When she got to the vets office, Lacus chopped, and blended up the bamboo into a small paste. This way it would be very easy for the panda cub to eat, seeing it must still be very weak. She came back with the paste and a spoon, and started to feed the panda. The little guy eat very slowly, but looked happy that it was being fed.

After another day or two the panda cub was strong enough to walk again. It started to follow Lacus everywhere she went. Though she did not want the cub to be walking to much, so as soon as she seen that it was following them Lacus picked it up. After a week or so the stitches was able to be removed and, Lacus thought it would be best that she kept the small cub. Its mother was now gone and needed someone to look after it. That is when she gave the cub the name Xingke, and was happy to have such a nice pet with her for now on.
