The two ninja would be placed in an arena that resembled those of the ancient gladiators. There were people watching: people that had watched, some from the sidelines and some interacting, as the two genin before them had grown and succeeded. And now they stood ready to face their final challenge before they entered the ranks of the distinguished chuunin. The challenge would be combat. The two did not have to defeat the ninja, but they did need to display the attitudes and attributes of one who is soon to be a chuunin.

The woman before them was average in height and slender, but toned. Her hair was black, and shone in the mid-day sun as it fell down her back. She was garbed in light brown leather, and kept a katana at her hip. Finally, a bow with a small quiver adorned her back. She was focused, and did not bother with pleasantries. She was not trying to kill the two, simply to test them.

Sakki stood in his post unsettled. This was a big test. "Ready Iori-chan?", he asked. Without giving her a chance to answer, he began seals and slammed his hands on the top of the spray can. A black cloud of paint escaped the cans and Sakki immediately took a 5 yard leap backwards, then several silent shuffles to the side.

"Go go Iori-chan!", Sakki called out for her. With that done, the next step was support for Iori. So he pulled out his pen and paper and began drawing.

Spray Paint Cloud
C-rank Ninjutsu
Sakki will do a series of hand seals, then press his hands to one of the canisters. The canister he’s touched will then release a cloud of spray paint covering 50mx50m. This paint is mixed in with a lot of water, making it a lot more watery than paint, but still retaining some paint like qualities. Typically, people who enter the cloud will come out painted purple, and will have the taste of paint in their mouths. If a person spends more than 5 posts in the cloud breathing in the paint, they’ll find themselves coughing from inhaling too much paint. But because it’s watered down, it doesn’t have as many side effects as real paint.

"...Ugh. I hate spectators." Iori was ignoring Sakki as usual, instead focusing her critical gaze on their opponent. Unconsciously, it was her habit to find faults with whomever she was fighting; it gave Iori a sense of justification that eased what few qualms she had about fighting people she had no real issue with. Unfortunately, this kunoichi seemed to embody everything Iori wanted in an opponent; she was dressed utilitarian and judging by her choice in weapons, she was at least acceptably well versed in both close and mid-range combat.

But her hair wasn't pulled back in the same no-nonsense braid as Iori's; she'd have trouble keeping it out of her eyes in close range and even more trouble switching from one weapon to the other quickly, which would make her movements predictable, leaving her open every time she tried.

Satisfied that this would be enough to work with for the time being, Iori hefted the massive sword onto her shoulder from where it had been hanging on her back. But as usual, before she had a chance to share her thoughts with Sakki or introduce herself to the chuunin, Sakki covered the field in a ghastly black cloud and ran off, giggling.

Iori sighed in a mixture of long-suffering and relief, doing a set of handseals and gripping her sword with both hands. Impetuous as he was, Iori had missed training with Sakki over the last few months and it was nice to remember that the spectators probably wouldn't be seeing much of anything during this match, which eased some of her anxiousness. With the chuunin's arrows and sword safely accounted for, Iori began moving quietly forward to the last place she'd seen their opponent standing.

By infusing a metal object with Jikiton chakra via a small ball of static, the user can cause it to become highly magnetic, which means that it will latch itself to other metal objects in close proximity. The Strength required to separate objects that become magnetized should be equal to or greater than the user’s Control stat. Alternately, Katon jutsu can drastically weaken the bond, if not nullify it entirely.

The woman had read the files on both of these ninja, and knew all about them and their strategies. Still, she was going to try to fight as if she did not, seeing as most opponents would not. The worst thing she could do was to stay in the same place when the paint was sprayed, so as soon as she was obscured she would move to the left, circling the starting position of the two as quickly and quietly as possible. It was true, she could not switch between close and long range quickly, but she did not need to. If the genin were foolish enough to leave themselves open, it would be the end of them.

Sakki quickly finished three stencils, he had become so adept in drawing them. Doing hand seals, he quickly slammed his hand down on the first drawing, then sprayed out a single wolf, which bounded over towards Iori, letting out a low growl. Visibility in the cloud was about 2 feet, so she'd be able to see him and follow him. The wolf stayed low and seemed to be trying to listen in for something.

Mean while, Sakki had done more hand seals, and created 6 kittens, which had each bounded out into the cloud joyfully. He left out a small huff, making stuff at this rate would surely drain his stamina.

The kittens would be running in every direction, when one of them ran into the woman, it let out a loud squeak, and the wolf immediately began moving in that direction.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Suiton, using Ink and its containers as the medium
The fundamental technique to the entire Ink Style. Rather than walk around with gallons of ink around, the practitioner is instead able to use one small source of ink, and expand it through the works of Suiton in the mix. The amount that is amplified depends on the jutsu following this catalyst. The higher the technique’s rank, the more ink can be used. This ink can create creatures in sizes ranging from mice to dragons. This is only done while conducting jutsu that are to follow. This technique cannot be used alone.

Because Sakki doesn’t personally spray the creations for the Ink Style, and he obviously can’t paint them, he has a unique use of the Ink Style. He’ll first draw out a small copy on paper as if it’s a doodle, then do a series of hand seals, placing a palm on the drawing afterwards. As long as he places that drawing onto one of the Canisters on his back within the next two posts, the canister will be able to spray out one copy of the drawing. This still requires normal Ink Style jutsu, however. Stencils can be used 3 times.

This is the basic creation technique of the Ink Style. After painting a kitten, the user does the needed seal, causing the ink to 'spring' to life, jumping into a pseudo three dimensional form—becoming part of the reality it emerges in. This form gets destroyed by any Suiton jutsu. Once destroyed, it degrades into a pool of runny, non-usable ink. This creation is about the size of a tabby cat, and it cannot fly. These creations cannot use jutsu.

This is the creation technique of the Ink Style. After painting a picture of a wolf, the user does the needed seal, causing the ink to 'spring' to life, jumping into a pseudo three dimensional form. This form gets destroyed by any Suiton jutsu. Once destroyed, it degrades into a cloud of runny, non-usable ink. Creations from this jutsu are the size of a wolf, but cannot use jutsu.

Seeing the wolf trot over, Iori padded quietly behind it, watching its ears to catch the direction it was focusing on. In the thick haze, everyone but Sakki was at a disadvantage, but she at least had experience in the low visibility. With any luck, their opponent wouldn't be as cautious, and that would give Iori the opening she needed, especially with Sakki's creations for backup.

As she followed the wolf, Iori spun in slow circles, making sure not to leave any spot in her field of vision blind for more than a moment before continuing to scan the fog for shadows or signs of movement.

The chuunin continued to move through the mist of paint, heading toward the tall wall that surrounded the whole arena. She reached it without much delay, and climbed up the wall almost to the top, escaping the noxious cloud. They had concealed themselves, but how long could they last? The only area of the arena that was not covered was a ten foot tall ring of wall on which she was standing. She still had not drawn her weapons, but for now she did not need to.

The kittens continued moving, to no avail. When Sakki failed to hear any of them, he groaned. Where had she gone? Then, suddenly, he got an idea. She had to have gone up, or down, if she wasn't in the cloud, she was either under it, or above it. He quickly drew another stencil, and slammed his hand on it, spraying the can afterwards to release 3 hawks that immediately took up to the sky.

With a few hand seals, he closed one of his eyes, viewing out the eyes of the hawk.

"Iori-chan! She's up on the wall! Uuuuuhhmm. Left. Just, be ready. Wolfy will guide you, I'm gonna get her down now.", and with that. All three hawks moved towards her, one from the front, the other two from each side. All three aiming to claw at her with their talons.

Iori picked up her pace as the wolf changed directions and groaned inwardly as Sakki all but gave his position away yelling at her. Still, he had been the first to find the chuunin, even when she had apparently escaped his usual setup. Reaching the wall, Iori ran up, breaking through the haze and charging the beleaguered chuunin, her sword drawn. Between the jutsu she had used on her sword before and the one she was about to use, the chuunin was going to be hard pressed for a proper defense.

The ninja heard the voice, and drew her bow, grabbing five arrows and holding them at the ready. She knocked one to the string, but just as she was about to fire into the paint, three avian creatures appeared and flew at her. She quickly fit two more arrows to the string, taking brief aim before firing. Her aim was true, and the shafts flew fast. She did not have a moment to think about the birds any longer, however, as she noticed a charging genin coming toward her. Another one of her strengths, however, was speed. Maintaining contact with the wall, she sprinted away from the ninja, fitting another arrow to the string. She glanced behind her to be sure of her target’s location before turning fully and firing after taking brief aim. She was skilled with her bow, and was sure of her aim.

The arrows fired off at the birds, two of which were struck down. The third managed to barrel roll out of the way, narrowly avoiding the arrow. "Wolfy, goooo!", Sakki commanded from afar. He definitely felt the safest. The wolf split off from Iori, quickly running along the wall before launching up from the ground level, planning on cutting off the woman. All six kittens had returned to Sakki upon a whistle, acting as his guardians. Still, he needed to do nothing. He was the scout, Iori, the assassin.

Iori's eyes narrowed critically as the arrow plinked harmlessly against her upheld blade and stuck there. The shot had probably been an attempt to scout Iori's abilities, but the chuunin's attention was on her and not Sakki's creations, which was exactly how she wanted it. And if she for some reason turned her focus around to face her attackers in front, she'd still be turning her back on a very large blade, which probably wouldn't be the best of ideas; Iori was no slouch when it came to speed, either. In fact, the best possible situation for Iori would be exactly that; a shot at the chuunin's unprotected flank.

Drawing a new arrow with a plan to knock and draw and fire, the chuunin had it almost knocked until the wolf came out before her. It didn't take much to see that she had the edge in speed, and was quite confident in her own agility, and so she merely lunged in with the arrow as if it were a small polearm. She had little doubt that it would spear the creature, and then after it dissolved to it's constituent parts once more, she could turn, finally knocking the arrow as she ran backwards, aiming at Iori's leg to incapacitate without killing.

They'd displayed some skillful teamwork, at least. They knew the roles they had to fill, and filled them well. But there was more to being a true ninja than just that.

The wolf had no chance of survival, they were on a thin platform, and he, unfortunately could not fly. The hawk, however, that had survived, dove at her from above, aiming to rake it's claws down her back. Sakki at this point, was simply laying there with his one of his eyes closed, watching the aerial battle above him through the eyes of his hawk. Ohh, the life of a support ninja was an easy one.

After doing the needed handseals, the user places a hand on one of their creation. As long as they are closing an eye, the user is able to see through the the same eye of their creation. This can scope for two paintings if s/he willing to close both eyes. This can be used up to half a mile away and is mainly used for scouting purposes.[/spoiler]
