Things the last couple of weeks had been more than just eventful. Izumi had managed to leave STRATOS behind, despite her goals of being an assassin. The young Ishiguro was finding she didn’t have the heart for that kind of bloodshed, and as a result had gone to retrieve a missing ninja as her final mission for the organization, and now she was finally able to pursue a normal life… without her façade of blindness. Still though, as she walked through the streets of Kumo without her blindfold, her staff was in her left hand, tapping on the stones as she moved along.

Barely out of the organization and she had orders to meet someone known as Syaoran. She hoped this meant a promotion, but at the same time she wondered if it was some kind of follow up on her time with STRATOS. Did they think it had scarred her somehow? Or maybe some kind of ‘exit interview’ was protocol… or maybe they had found out about Kasai.

A thousand thoughts ran through the young woman’s mind and all of these she shoved aside as she suddenly found herself standing in front of an office door. She didn’t remember entering the building, or walking up the steps, she just suddenly realized she was at the door and knocking. Assuming the person on the other side told her to enter, she would open the door and state simply in introduction, ”Ishiguro Izumi, reporting.”
