[1120/1000][Stat Trained: +1 Speed & +1 Endurance]

With pink hair flopping, sound of panting, and a flailing of sorts, Akihiko made his way through the village. The boy wanted to start really training his body in order to prepare for becoming a Chunin. Since he had recently mastered the Genma within him at such a young age, he wanted to keep the momentum going. If he could achieve his goals at a young age, the village as a whole would be able to look at him in a different light. Although his pranks were inevitable, he also wanted to gain the reputation of someone that should be taken seriously.

Akihiko would continue to sprint through different areas of the village hidden in the clouds. Left and right legs pumping up and down, with his alternate arms following suit. This was a training of endurance and speed. By running regurally through the village, he would hopefully increase the potential speed output and amount of stamina overall he would have. The young child did hear a rumor of a visitor, since the many alliances it wasn't foreign that people from other villages and cultures would visit. Plus the Raikage was a careful ruler amongst them, so he wouldn't allow just anyone to merely appear in their great village.

The young delinquent bumped into a few people along the way, but nothing too hard that would hurt or derail the path. He would get occasional "hey watch where you are going or "you dumb brat", ironically enough, it was nothing he hadn't heard before. Aki decided that the route he was going would lead to one of the grand training grounds near the academy. If he ran hard and fast enough he could potentially get there.

Aki ran to the outer parts of the village. He saw a large stone ledge and gave himself a smirk. What a great place to start practicing his endurance. The genin narrowed his vision and grit his teeth. He kicked his legs up and down harder than when he was running through the village. With the gained momentum, Aki got close enough to the rock ledge and leveraged his legs. With bent knees and rolling momentum forward, the pink haired genin lifted his body upwards. The child lifted himself into the air and jumped towards the stone ledge. In Aki's mind this would be a piece of cake. A simple jump and move onward. Right as Aki thought he would get to the stone ledge, he had a flash realization. He was not going to make it!

While his body was flying upwards, the boy's goldenish eyes stared at the stone ledge. It was higher than he originally though and Aki miscalculated the jump greatly. Foolishly, Aki's feet hit the stone structure. This collision caused Aki to loose not only all momentum, but his footing as well. Unable to process what was fully happening, Aki fell down towards the ground. He used his arms to collide with the ground and twisted his body so that he would roll. By doing this, he would avoid an injury. Due his experience in failure, the child had actually learned how to fall so that he wouldn't fully get hurt. Aki looked around by whipping his head around to see if anyone was watching. Visually he didn't think he saw anyone directly in front of him or around the close area. Although, it is not like he looked very hard. After the brief scan, Aki quickly jumped up to his feet. Akihiko used both of his hands to wipe off the dirt from his clothes, effectively trying to hide the fact that he fell. If the boy was to be taken seriously, he didn't want people to know that he fell.

With the fleeting embarrassment leaving his mind, Akihiko moved slowly and walked over to the stone ledge. He placed his hands on the stone ledge and leveraged his arms to pull himself on top of it. He lifted his right foot first and then swung his left foot over. For a brief second, the genin was in a gargoyle position, before straightening his legs and standing as tall as he could. Aki lifted his left knee up and bent it to his chest. He used both arms to pull it into his chest. After his left leg straightened out and landed on the ground, he did the same thing with the right. This form of stretching helped alleviate any tension the fall might have brought upon him.

After fully stretching, the pre-teen looked towards the training grounds he wanted to get to. Akihiko wanted to do a full on sprint. The more he ran, the faster he could run and for longer. It was a simple exercise but one that could increase his potential further. With that thought in mind and goal in sight Aki lowered his body. The pink haired boy moved his left foot backwards a little bit and bent both of knees. By lowering himself, the child began the process to get a slight head start to push himself further.

With a second passing the child push with his left leg and had his right follow. Like before, he pumped his legs one after another along with his arms pumping in alternate, opposite of his legs. Pushing himself forward and blasting with as much speed as possible, Akihiko sent himself towards the training grounds. The training grounds was several meters away. It would be a long and hard run forward. As Akihiko got closer, the training grounds got bigger. However, the longer Akihiko was running the harder he was huffing and puffing. The winded pre-teen kept pushing through. It got to a point where Akihiko could no longer look at the goal straight ahead. He jumped off of the stone ledge and landed on the ground. By bending his knees while he landed, Aki was able to break his fall slightly and save his knees for the most part. Once he landed the child pushed forward while continuing to run. Akihiko put his head down and closed his eyes. The boy huffed and puffed as his legs and arms were pumping.

When the terrain changed below his feet, Akihiko realized that he was no longer on the normal part of the road. In fact, he made it to the training grounds. When this realization came to light, Akihiko's pink hair fluffed around in the wind with a sudden stop. The child didn't pivot his feet properly which caused him to fall yet again. The fall wasn't one he could break right away. He landed on the ground and hit the ground. His butt broke the fall, this caused the boy to yelp. "OW"

Train in my Domain

Takeshi found himself conflicted. While his father and older brother were off in Wind country fighting a war, he had decided to train in Kumo. For years he had been afraid to leave Konoha. After all the last time his father and brother left to fight in the war Kirigakure had invaded and many lives had been lost. He had seen firsthand his grandfather killed in front of him, and only narrowly had he and his twin sister managed to escape and hide long enough for reinforcements to arrive. But that event still clung to him and fueled his paranoia and distrust. And now he had left in hopes of training under the infamous skyguard. He would need every advantage he could get, and when it came to long ranged combat there were none better than the shinobi of Kumogakure.

Fighting to keep his mind focused the teenage Hyuuga moved in search of a training ground. Unfortunately, the Raikage was not present, having gone off to fight in Wind country and thus his reception to the village was more underwhelming than he had anticipated. He still followed all the proper paperwork and had advanced permission to stay in the village for the next few weeks, but after being given a brief tour he had been left to his own. Truthfully the fifteen-year-old was somewhat disappointed. A couple of years ago his life had been saved by a Jounin of Kumogakure; a beautiful young woman from the Arashiyama clan. At the time he had been a small and frail looking Genin, but now in just two years he had grown by a full foot and had rapidly begun to fill out his tall frame with muscle. He still had the look of a teenager who had grown too quickly into his body, but in his mind he was a man now and he felt that Eiko might look at him differently than before.

After inquiring about her however, it seemed she was out on a mission currently. The disappointment weighed on his already worried mind. And in ways he couldn’t explain whenever he felt such emotions he couldn’t help but feel surges of irrational anger. It was as if the world was against him and nothing quite worked out the way it should. None of his teams had worked out the way he had hoped either and even his promise to his twin sister to graduate as Chunin together had ultimately been a lie. He had left her behind, cursed by his own natural talent that catapulted him above his peers and left him feeling isolated. But how could he not train day and night when Konoha seemed so vulnerable, and nobody else his age even seemed to care or remember the devastating invasion just a few years ago. It felt as if they were all content to live in denial and pretend everything was as it had always been. But he refused to forget or forgive.

By the time Takeshi had wandered into one of the training grounds he realized he had at some point began to clench the hilt of his sword. The Dao style blade rested at his left hip. Beautiful in its wine-hued sheath and tassels, the foreign sabre was quite deadly and had been a treasured prize since his last visit to the Lightning Empire. But it was archery where the teenager truly excelled. Across his back he carried a 4-foot-long short bow that was crafted with white oak and stained a deep black. He had recently had to have a new bow custom made to accommodate the growing power of his draw. Only through specialized chakra crafting could a half bow boast such a significant draw weight. Releasing the hilt of his sword he reached behind him and grasped the bow as he felt his focus slowly returning to him.

But he knew he needed more than just shooting targets to keep his mind focused. Surely there had to be someone around who would be willing to spar with him and keep him on his toes by surprising him with some unique abilities or jutsu styles. He had sparred with many clan members back in Konoha and even a few from Suna when some family friends had visited but he had very limited experiences with Kumo shinobi. Looking around he saw a few people here and there but just as he was eying up a potentially interesting shinobi, suddenly a pink haired kid jumped over a ledge, stumbled and fell just a few meters away from him. Certainly the pink hair was unique and interesting enough to get his attention, and naturally Takeshi had been raised to help others in need and generally show concern for people. The lean and tall young man approached swiftly, and crouched down to check on the young boy. “Are you alright?” he inquired as he offered a hand in case the child needed help getting up. “My name is Hyuuga Takeshi. I’m a Chunin from Konoha” he introduced with a kind smile, regardless if the boy needed help or not. “Are you a shinobi too?” he wondered. There didn’t seem to be any obvious indicators that he was a shinobi and he did seem rather young but he had come to the training grounds so it seemed likely that he was at least an academy student. Not quite the challenger he was hoping for but he was grateful for the company regardless and perhaps he might still learn something from the boy.

512/500 - Trained: Endurance +1

With the dust flying in the air, the genin child didn't realize that someone was near him. When the dust settled, he gazed upon a teenager who was tall, black hair, with white eyes. Based on his attire aki.... WHITE EYES? The boy couldn't help but directly stare at the man's eyes. Was he blind? Was he okay? Did he accidentally injure the man in some way? Who was this person? Within seconds of the dust settled, Akihiko put his right arm out and used the leverage of the teenager lifting him to also lift himself up. He flung himself up in the air and landed with grace, which was honestly a rare occurrence. With an awkward pause and staredown of the man's eyes. Akihiko began to pat himself down and get some of the dirt off of his clothing as he responded to his "elder".

"Oh umm, yeah I think I am fine." It wasn't shortly after the teenager introduced himself. So this was one of the visitors? Takeshi? What does the name Hyuuga mean? Maybe the boy could get some more information out of him. Following Takeshi's introduction, Akihiko used the manners that he had practiced with his watcher. In spirit of respect the boy ungracefully straightened his back and bowed his head forward. "Hello Takeshi-Sama, my name is Ishiguro Akihiko, but you can just call me Aki. I am a genin here in Kumogakure but aspire to be a legendary shinobi." Already the boy spoke as weirdly as possible without even trying. He was known for being annoying and awkward, but mostly for speaking what was on his mind. It was quite the... habit.

Akihiko was slightly untrusting with this tall figure that stood in front of him although he did look kind. With this in mind, he would slowly channel chakra through his body. However, he did it lightly and slowly in order not to fully draw suspicion. If Takeshi had an affinity for sensory, he would feel a very minor feeling of a calming and trusting presence.

Right after Akihiko spoke, he couldn't help but stare at the Hyuuga boy's eyes. "Hey, are you blind?" As he finished speaking the child would point directly to the teenager's face. Childish and immature in nature, Aki didn't hold back when it came to blunt and to the point questions. Only a few people knew him well, so to most he comes off a bit rude. When in fact all he is, is just curious. Before and during the conversation, Akihiko would channel the chakra that was slowly swirling within him and distribute it to his muscles. It was important to the child to be sure to continuously train at all times. Especially since he would like to quickly prove himself. Something about Takeshi threw off the young lad. It wasn't just the eyes, but his overall presence. Although Akihiko couldn't tell for sure, he knew that if they were to get into some kind of altercation, he wouldn't last long. So the goal was to simply befriend this visitor!

Takeshi nodded, pleased that the boy was alright. His dark brown hair was tied back in a high ponytail, fastened in a silver clasp. He wore robes of teal and porcelain white and similar teal pants. Naturally, his leaf sigil forehead protector and its black sash covered his forehead and the curse seal beneath it. His pale white eyes contained just a hint of a lavender shade when the light caught them just right. And as kind and good-natured as he seemed it was clear he was a well-trained and poised shinobi. His body moved swiftly and his gaze seemed attentive and alert. “A pleasure to meet you Aki” he greeted, keeping an even expression as the boy blurted out a question about his eyes. “No, I can see quite well. It’s just a clan trait” he explained patiently, internalizing some slight annoyance. “You’re a Genin? You seem so young. I had no idea the shinobi of Kumogakure were so talented” he praised, tight-lipped. “Would you mind sparring with me then? I’m a Chunin myself, visiting from Konoha of course, but I was hoping to spend my time in Kumo training” he spoke with an even but friendly tone. He was eager to see what kind of talents the young Genin possessed. He knew very little of Kumo’s clans or unique styles and was hopeful that the boy might have something interesting up his sleeve.

It would do Takeshi well to hone his tactical mind and learn to respond to unknown styles. With the rank difference, he shouldn’t be in any real trouble, but he also knew better than to underestimate others or assume that rank was always a sure-fire indicator of talent. After all, he had always been stronger than his own rank indicated and had long learned to hold back his strength to blend in with his peers, saving his real talents for training with only the elite members of his covert team within Anbu.

He would back up a few paces and make no motion toward either of his more obvious weapons nor the concealed standard kunai and shuriken. “Please, start at whatever range you’d like and don’t worry about holding back. I can handle myself” he assured. Unlike many he had already fought enemy shinobi and put his life on the line even as a Genin. He was sure that he could withstand the pressure of whatever this seemingly less experienced boy could muster. But all the same he prepared himself mentally to not underestimate his opponent. Breathing slowly he focused his mind and kept a clear head, ready to respond to whatever came his way. The kindness of his aura would fade away as he became focused and serious. Beneath his loose, flowing clothes his body teemed with lean muscle, primed and ready as he settled back into a Jyuuken stance. Even a novice would immediately notice the well-balanced stance, clearly taking on a defensive posture that indicated a proficiency for close quarters counter fighting.

+1 in Speed

Akihiko gazed upon the calm, cool, and collected Konoha shinobi as he responded to his... blunt question. It wasn't uncommon for the boy to start off on the wrong foot. In fact, it usually always happened. However, because he is so blunt, his compliments are truly genuine. If one gets to know the pink haired pain, then they would realize that this trait can be endearing. The question of his rank followed by a compliment put a slight smile on the child's face. This brought joy to the hard working genin. He has had yet to have praise, mainly because it goes to his head, but also he has not been able to fully show what he has been training for.

Due to Akihiko's training in mastering his Genma ability, his other trainings have been lacking. This is unfortunately something he would need to focus on for his future, but if he was to show his true abilities to a Konoha shinobi, Aki would most definitely be scorned and punished. To Aki, the boy in front of him definitely seemed older, but he really couldn't tell by how much. "Well thank you Hyuuga Takeshi for the compliment. I am sorry about talking about your eyes, I just have never seen any like them." Right before Takeshi spoke, Ryeunso within Akihiko's mind spoke to him. "We should go into the limbo realm and pull his pants down in front of a crowd. He will definitely get embarrassed. Try it boy, lets make an example out of this outsider." A cackling continued in Akihiko's mind as the proposal of a sparring session came up. The child shook his head and continued eye contact to follow up on what was said to him.

"hmmm, a spar? Well i'll try my best, but I am down for a spar!" Akihiko excitedly smiled as if he was in a sweet shop. He jumped in the air with pure power which could only be described as child energy. The boy turned his back to the Hyuuga member and skipped several steps to gain a couple of meters extra of distance. Once the pink haired delinquent had decided he was far enough he started to think on what he would do in order to provide the proper start. Maybe he could use this time to practice his combat skills instead of his jutsu. He did want to gain a little bit more experience when it came to throwable objects and the ochiba style he had been reading about. This would be a great place to start!

Akihiko gazed upon the his taller, long haired, white eyed "elder". The boy couldn't get a good read on him, even if it was more obvious he still wouldn't be able to really understand. Before the child made a move Ryeunso had a couple of suggestions. "You know we could always throw those nice little weapons of yours into the Limbo Realm, he wouldn't know what hit him." This was another tactic the boy wished to lean in the future, but he also was no dummy. Like the before response, Akihiko was responsible enough to not release any of his techniques or go into a Genma Host state. It was far too early for him to show off some of his abilities. He also really didn't know anything about this other teen. Was he to be trusted? Would this be a trap? Why is he allowing Aki the first move? Is he that confident? Who is he!?!?

The child didn't know what would be best to start, but he figured maybe a frontal assault would be best. Up close an personal, it was possible that the Hyuuga man was lying about his eyes. Although he had no reason to lie, he also didn't have a reason to tell the truth. The very pinnacle of getting in his own hand, resulted in Akihiko shaking his noggin and started with reaching down and quickly grabbing his kunai. Aki did it in a way that he had read about, swiftly placing his finger in the hole of the Kunai and flicking it in a rolling fashion to his right hand. With the Kunai held tight, Akihiko began to charge and rush the Hyuuga boy at full speed! At this point wasn't that fast compared to other shinobi. Akihiko sprinted to the long haired leaf shinobi. If the chuunin was waiting for him, then Akihiko would attempt to get right in front of hyuuga and swing the kunai from his right side and swing to his left. He would then try to plant his feet and use that stop in momentum to launch himself back in order to try to get some space. Not the best display at first, but most definitely one so bad that it might throw him off. Akihiko's main attempt in all of this was to confuse Takeshi.

Takeshi smiled softly as the pink-haired boy apologized regarding the comment about his eyes, “It’s alright. It’s a common question” he assured. He was in fact well used to such questions whenever he traveled outside of Konoha. Even if they did grow tiresome he could at least appreciate the sincere apology and consideration. The young man nodded when the Genin agreed to a spar. He knew how to pull his punches, after all despite being a son of the Hokage and having those expectations baring down on him he went to great lengths to mask his true talent. Such was the duality of being recruited into Anbu fresh out of the academy. Stepping back, he assessed the boy, activating his Byakugan and using it to read his body language.

232+129= 361/300 + 1 Willpower

From now on would be a balancing act. When one typically thought about training ones body they operated under the premise of needing to push oneself to the limit to show progress. But Takeshi had learned that he could still improve while holding back. Understanding his body, knowing both his upper limits and his lower ones. After all, performing a technique with great speed but little power was equally as difficult, perhaps even more so than simply hitting with all one’s might. It required a different level of muscle control and he aimed to gain complete mastery over his body, being able to exert exactly as much strength as was needed regardless of what kind of motion he was making and how fast he was moving.

As a Hyuuga he was taught how to fight gracefully, but neither of his parents were graceful. Genetically he had the potential to be an incredible powerhouse, each parent a Bannin and among the most physically impressive shinobi in Konoha. There too lay within him the primal blood of the Inuzuka and he felt his lean but incredibly powerful muscles yearning to let loose. But he would not allow his body such a luxury. Instead he would act with exactly as much strength as his opponent, and he would have only an instant to assess that force and match it perfectly.

Tranquil, calm and deadly he waited like a praying mantis for his opponent to enter his range. And when Akihiko did move it felt as though it were in slow motion, as if he already knew the outcome. The boy’s motions were very clearly telegraphed, drawing the knife, loading up his weight and throwing his body and arm into the strike. With Takeshi’s left arm and leg turned and pointed toward his opponent in his low, lengthened stance he would track the incoming kunai. Swiftly intercepting he would aim to intercept from an upward angle, essentially swatting into the wrist of the gripped weapon and following through with the motion to clear it past his body. Then, as Akihiko planted his feet Takeshi would simply slide his forward foot against the inside of Ahikiho’s foot, using that leverage as he turned the blocking hand over the attacking wrist, grabbing and attempting to direct Akihiko’s momentum with his strike while blocking the boy’s foot from moving. The result, if it worked as intended would be sending Akihiko rolling off to Takeshi’s right side and not giving him a chance to leap back. And if he did manage to avoid rolling to the side and attack to leap back anyway then Takeshi would simply pivot his foot, hooking behind Akhiko’s ankle and leaning in to transition to an open palm strike to the chest with the grabbing hand instead. Throughout all of this he would utilize minimal movement and only need to utilize the same strength as his opponent, relying more on technique than raw power.

Akihiko although he hadn't been a Genin for long, had spent most of his time beneath the Raikage's building mastering the Genma within him. Although this was good for the future, it didn't help right now in this very moment. In fact, the jutsu and the control over the Genma is something he couldn't really use with outsiders yet. He needed to prove that Aki could hold his own with opponents. Since Aki engaged, he had established a close quarter battle. With a keen eye, Aki had noticed two very important things. Once, the power level between the two must be vast. For Takeshi to allow the first throw and hardly move with a counter, meant he was much stronger, faster, and had great experience. Although at this point it was just speculation. The second mental note was that it might be possible for Takeshi to be strong in martial arts. For him to do that move so quickly, he knew what he was doing.

During Akihiko's attack though, what really distracted him was the change of the eyes. They were... focused. However, Aki couldn't tell much more than that due to the nature of Takeshi's counter to Akihiko's attack. With little to do, but to counter the counter, Akihiko thought quick on his feet. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't skilled enough or fast enough to get out of the way. While the pink haired genin's foot was planted, he couldn't stop from getting swept and started to fall to the right of Takeshi. This fall Aki would use this slight moment of being lower than the white eyed teenager for an attack.

While lower, Akihiko rolled once and when he was at his feet he would gain his ground. He actually used the momentum and started to sweep his feet attempting to knock Takeshi to the ground. If successful, Akihiko would bring the kunai in his hand and aim it at the chest of the long black haired shinobi. If he missed completely, Akihiko would attempt to stay low and close to continue countering. There was really only one way that Aki could learn better with close hand to hand combat!
