"Now if you try this, it could work. But you would probably have to be incapacitated for a while... do you have what it takes for this kind of training?"

Akihiko's Father's words echoed throughout his mind. They had been reviewing the last few days of the child's goals and achievements. It was obvious that the boy had spent enough time acting fully childish and to prove that he could commit and bear down. What better way than to make a month long commitment! Akihiko's father made a call to the hospital, a few favors he had to call in. It wasn't hard since the Ishiguro Family were well established within the village.

The boy didn't know what to expect, but he did know that this first intense training would be what he needed to get to the next level. What opportunity you might ask? Well the boy had spent the last few weeks pleading with the Genma within him to train the boy. There was no way to fully undergo into the dark depths of his own mind without potentially dying from lack of nutrition.

So the goal here was to go to the hospital, get some tubes connected to him, and make sure that the pink haired pre-teen didn't die! Death would be the opposite of good... well situational at least.

Regardless, Aki had made his way to the hospital. When he arrived, the boy gave his name to the front desk. The boy made a point to be a little quiet when giving his full name. The delinquent child didn't want his "enemies" to know that he couldn't defend himself! All dramatics were a bit extreme, especially considering that they were in a kumo hospital and he was the Kumo Genma Host. The nurse nodded and wrote a couple of things down.

After paging for a doctor, another woman who seemed freakishly tall (she was 5'6" but that seemed tall to Akihiko), introduced herself. After the introductions finished up, she lead him to a weird part of the hospital. Not weird because it looked off or smelt bad, weird because it was a separate wing that required multiple pass codes to enter. Passcodes, keys, eye confirmation, fuuinjutsu, chakra sensory... the whole kit and kaboodle. After passing through all of the security measures, there were four shinobi sitting outside what would appear as an operating room. It was imperative that only the doctor was allowed to come in and she would be scanned and processed every time.

With all of the safety features established, Akihiko had a great feeling of security. This gave him full reign to focus on the task at hand. The child stepped into the operating room and laid down on the declined chair. The chair extended which allowed Akihiko to not only lay down, but also be comfortable in the process. After settling down in his spot, the doctor attached different tubes and contraptions all over his body. It was finalized with an eye cover to help keep him suspended in darkness. It followed ear buds as well to cancel out noise.

Before Akihiko noticed, he was not only deep in darkness... he was not even within the world he remembered.
