Five doors stood at the entrance way to a massive stone obelisk. Each participant would have been summoned to the stone obelisk by the Emperor himself.

Above the first door was the kanji for “Nakajima". "Ishiguro" was marked upon the next door, and lastly Hanamura.

There'd also be two more doors right of that- though they hadn't seemingly arrived just yet. Above each door read "Heart Thing No. 1" and "Heart Thing No. 2"… perhaps and odd joke from the Raikage.

Upon entry through the door it would lock shut revealing to each of them 5 clones of the Raikage, each buzzing about with an chakra nature of their own.

One would step forward and speak.

"The drums of war move quicker every day. It is my duty to pass on everything I can to the next generation- and you two are the best we have."

Without even a moment delay following the small speech the clone (Raiton) lurched forward for each of them, in each of their separated rooms.

The Raiton Clone came forth with tremendous speed for Mariya as she opened her eyes- revealing her sharing. Though the clone moved at nearly the full speed of her father himself, Mariya was also quite fast for being only a special Joann. Biting her lip she tilted to the side and put her arms up taking it’s punch right on her arms as she slid back and the clone disengaged. She could feel her arms tingly- likely a result of the Raiton.

Fuuton.

She knew that Fuuton was the best way to counter her father. But she had only read about it and learned briefly about it- she still hadn’t mastered it… but she would try so here, and now. Focusing on her tenets she began to bring Wind chakra forth while harmonizing her chakra with the very wind around them in the room. It was a crucial synchronization she had seen her father use many times- and if she pulled it off right… it’d be one helluva move.

She felt the chakra well up in her body as wind surrounded her, a slight cut appearing on her cheek and arm as she gasped- she needed to control the winds better. Her hands moved together and did what they could adapting her chakra flow to the the characteristics of the wind itself – swift, dynamic, and unpredictable. As she did that, the clone seemed to start doing hand seals. Not exactly good for her. Biting her lip she began to form the wind about her body.

She’d form a shield- a shield to break through her fathers attack. She poured all her power into it and everything she had to embody the force and versatility that wind chakra had to offer. She could imagine the wind, feel it. Direct each blade to form layers that whirled about her body until finally, she was coated in powerful winds.

The clone put it’s hands out firing an incredible lightning bolt for her. She lurched forward and swung her fist at it, as if to punch it out of the air. Roaring, the wind on her body collided with the lightning as it split in two the power of both the wind and her newly awakened elemental shielding tore through the bolt like it was nothing. Biting her lip she reached into her bag and spun round unleashing two kunai for the clone.

Without hesitation it swung it’s arm as the bolt that had been split lurched to either side stopping the kana before completely fizzling out.

After the appropriate hand seals Mariya will coalesce multiple layers of wind around her body at [Control] speed. The wind rotates around her with [Control] strength acting as both an offense and defense by pushing away and throwing anything that would otherwise try to reach her. Lasts for 5 posts or until cancelled.

Mariya grunted. Her father’s clone- just a damn clone was quite powerful. It was no matter though she was sure she’d be able to surmount it eventually, or handle it. As the two kunai clattered to the ground she again channeled the winds around her body, coating herself to the extent she could with her control.

Hayate’s clone wasted little to no time as it’s lightning tore through the field, bolt after furious bolt. Deftly. Maria dodged the first one by leaping to the side only for the next one to spin round for her. Sliding to the ground she cartwheeled as the next bolt came, and then Hayate’s clone pulled all the bolts back like a boomerang for her. With no option left for a side-step she left into the air at the last possible moment as the bolts collided into the ground.

From her position up in the air and with no bolts left she would throw two kunai at the clone… however, the clone was fast enough to dodge to the side and begin channeling. Landing, Mariya sprinted for him and cocked her fist to strike just as the clone lept into the air puffing out it’s chest and putting it’s limbs back releasing a massive electro bomb.

The electricity smacked right into Mariya, hitting her with tremendous force and sent her flying back into the wall with a large crash audible enough that Aki would hear it from his room. Her shield had managed to mitigate the damage and avoid her being shocked, but the problem still remained that she hit the wall hard and that she had no way to get close to this clone with the constant onslaught it was able to create.

Biting her lip Mariya began to think. She needed to be fast- to pair her speed with the raw potential of her sharing to dance her way across the field and through all the strikes and attacks. She was certain it was possible. Clearing her throat she took off, kicking off the wall. Like an EDM concert a low buzz filled the air as she smelled the feint oxygen smell you did before a bolt of ligh- she twirled to the side as a bolt tore through the roof of the obelisk and shattered the ground.

A narrow escape. Again, wind building about her body, she began to sprint for the Raiton clone. Her senses flared about her as she watched every rhythm of it’s chakra movement. Left. Right. Up. Down. She narrowly dodged the attacks as if playing a video game. Spin. Slide. Jump. Leap.

Like a dancer in the ballet she dodged each strike. She dodged them like an RP’er on Naruto Saigen dodged attacks until finally, she was close to Hayate’s lightning clone. The clone again was beginning to rear up to do another repulsing blast. Biting her teeth she lurched forward, yelling not again.

This time, she was fast enough and was able to sock the clone in the gut interrupting it from casting. The clone however, brought it’s knee up with a swift hit to Mariya’s stomach and then brought both hands down over her back, pounding her to the ground.

Instinctively she put her hands out like a springboard jump and flipped up kicking at the clone, who grabbed onto her ankles. Moments later electricity courses out of the clone and into her, destroying her shield as she fell to the ground in a slump.

Hayate’s clone looked at her.

”Well, you’re fast, I’ll give you that. And those eyes of yours let you move faster than you really should, but… you’ll need more than speed, Mariya. Let’s try again.” he said as he returned to the wall.

Mariya slouched over for some minutes waiting for the paralysis to pass. The second it finished though she rose back up to her feet, and shook herself off. Being bested by her fathers clone definitely awoke something within her. Gritting her teeth she locked her eyes on him.

"Alright, father."

Suddenly taking off with more speed than before she rocketed straight for the Raikage’s ration clone who had been just casually waiting in the corner of the room. The clone spun to the side as she followed and aimed a punch of him. He was just a tad to fast still though, and ducked the punch with ease before sweeping Mariya’s leg, sending her to the ground, though she caught herself and instantly put in the work to flip herself back to her feet.

Her father was fast- and this was perhaps the fastest she had ever moved or fought at yet. As she flipped back towards the Raikage she swung out with her hand, it barely grazing the clone as it stepped back.

In a flurry of motions she drew a kunai spinning it from her hand as it revolved around each finger and into her grip only for her to jam it down at the Raikage. Lightning spurred off the clone forming a shield as her Kunai struck against it and she poured all the strength she could muster into it, only to fail against that of the shield. Disengaging she kept backwards then drew another kunai with her other hand, now dual wielding.

Once more she’d spring forward for her father. This time she’d toss one of the kunai for his shoulder, aiming to lead the clone on purpose into a dodge. It dodged to the side as she bursted upwards with a slicing attack for the clone, making it play into its own movement. Her eyes flashed with determination.

The kunai swung through the clone, but yet again, was a graze, as it sailed on by and the clone then dropped down delivering a gut punch to Mariya who had to throw herself backwards onto the ground to narrowly avoid it’s paralyzing punch, though decidedly figured it was a good choice in comparison.

Heaving to catch her breath, the sweat now rolling down her forehead, she peered back at her fathers clone. He was perhaps one of the fastest man alive, so she felt proud to even keep up, but she wanted to beat him. She held the tactical advantage and for her it was almost like he moved in slow motion. The thing that was lacking for her though was that slight edge in speed- that small differential of her being able to kick it into full gear. If she could be a tad bit faster she could abuse the clone for all it’s misgivings.

Steeling herself for one final attack, she coated her body in wind. In fuuton. It courses through it as her body picked up the passives. This would hopefully be enough to protect her and let her punch through the annoying shield of lightning. With that, she took off. This time no tricks, nothing beyond what her eyes could see.

She’d swing right, the clone sidestepped. Immediately she’d swing left. Side stepped. Roaring as she felt her muscles burn she’d explode forward this time aiming to tackle the clone. With enough speed, she managed to force it to dodge to the side- and that was her window. With it’s footing off she’d drop low and spin a kick to it’s legs tacking it to the floor, as it formed a hand seal.

Smacking into the ground with a “poof”, but finishing it’s just just in time to make another raiton clone.

Hanako had been summoned by the Raikage. She arrived at a massive stone obelisk. As she stood beneath its shadow she got the impression that even its shadow was heaven. What was it for, what did it mean? Why was it here? There were a thousand questions that demanded to be answered by Hanako’s brain but that wasn’t the reason why she had come to this place. She was not here at her own pleasure. It was immediately noticeable that there was a number of doors and each had a name on the door. She had never met any of the other people who had come to this place before. She barely knew the Raikage aside from the meeting at the Iron Banner festival. Hanako knew that the door labeled Hanamura was for her. It was the lastt name that was recognized by the Lightning Empire, though it was hardly a family name. Her family were just peasants and basically had no last name. They weren’t from a famous clan, or other kind of bloodline that had the privilege of a family name. Hers was all loose and barely interconnected.

Somewhere out there in the world she had a brother that was still alive. Though she had never investigated if that was still the case, or if the town of Hanamura even existed still in the Lightning Empire. It didn’t really matter at this point she supposed. She stepped forward and opened the door, entering the chamber within.Hanako was shocked to find who was waiting within the room to be none other than the Raikage himself. He gave a short and concise speech revealing that soon the village would be heading to war. He was recognizing her skills, but also he was recognizing that she had no experience in battle with a shinobi. The Raikage lurched forward towards her.

’Defend yourself.’

He was fast and he had already formed a lighting jutsu which he had fired at her. The best way to avoid it was to not be there. Hanako had to push herself to her maximum limits in terms of speed just to avoid it. She retaliated with a pair of shuriken which she released from the seals on her wrist. The Shuriken spun and rotated in their path to become much more unpredictable as they approached their target. The Raikage split his lighting attack into two and used it to deflect the shuriken out of the air. However upon hitting the shuriken, suddenly two more shuriken burst from the shadows of the original pair. The Raikage responded by further manipulating the lighting that hit the original shuriken causing it to branch again and leap to the new threats knocking them out of the air as well.

While he defended from her attack, the Raikage had not stopped using his Kinesis to chase after Hanako. She found her back against the wall given the size of the room. He had complete control of the lightning in this room. She was well practiced in evasive maneuvers and was returning her attacks, but under the fearsome control of his kinesis he would be able to block every single attack.

He was taking advantage of the room’s size to box her in. Hanako’s eyes narrowed. She could do much the same. Hanako began to unleash a flurry of shuriken using her repeater shot technique. The Shuriken were not aimed immediately at the Raikage but instead flew in wide arcs around him. Then the shots hit the walls at angles causing them to redirect back towards the center of the room with only a negligible loss in power and speed - but this time coming at him from several different angles at the same time. She did not let up either, Shurikens continued to fly and bounce and come from multiple angles, and then frighteningly all of these shuriken had other shurikens hidden in their shadows.

The Raikage was forced to change tactics. He channeled electricity into his hands and then through a shuriken shaped bolt of lighting which he released into a storm of shurikens which then flew back and collided with her barrage of shurikens, and he supplemented with using his own control of the element of lightning to deflect the ones that didn’t get caught by his shuriken storm.

Hanako bit her thumb. She had never fought anyone nearly as impressive. The Raikage’s clone saw a chip in her resolve. The Raikage formed another seal channeling chakra into his hands; he released a wave of chakra that expanded towards Hanako. SHATTERED MIND. She had never really experienced pain on the level that she had before. A searing headache knocked the wind out of her and she collapsed to the ground. It may not have killed her but it had completely removed her will to fight.

She had lost.

The Raikage reclaimed his chakra from the static in the air, absorbing it all back into himself and revitalizing his being.

”Get up when you can, we’ll try again. That last technique shouldn’t be enough to incapacitate you. You need to work on your resolve.”

It was certainly easier than done. The effect lasted 6 posts before the pain began to fade away and she felt like she could breathe again. The Raikage had returned to the middle of the room where he waited for her to stand up. Shuriken and Kunai littered the floor from their previous bout. She slowly got to her feet and formed a few hand seals while the Raikage watched impassively as she drew all the metal in the room towards herself. She organized the shuriken and replaced them either into the seals or into the shuriken holsters on her thighs.

”Your seal work is a little slow.” The Raikage commented.

”Most of my training comes from fighting dinosaurs. My chakra technique was too slow, so I used the fastest thing I had.” She explained to the Raikage.

”I see. I want you to be aware that I am just a clone of the Raikage. If you lost to me you would certainly lose to the real me as well. I think you resolve is your greatest weakness however. Lets work on that. I’m going to use the same technique on you again, I want you to try and withstand it. Fight back while under this jutsu’s effects”

Hanako finished putting her weaponry away and nodded her head.

The Raikage’s clone formed the seal again and unleashed the wave of chakra. Hanako gritted her teeth as the wave hit her at full force. She could feel the aching searing headache. She wanted to crumple back onto the ground. She weakly fumbled for her shuriken from her thigh holster and with drew a shuriken and tossed it rather feebly. It clattered to the ground not even reaching anywhere close to the Raikage’s clone, who simply stood watching Hanako as sweat formed and dripped down her face. ”I-It hurts!” She cried. The Raikage nodded sympathetically but did not intervene, as he saw her shaky legs brace in a wide stance to support her small body.

Hanako could feel the blood in her skull pumping through her veins and capillaries. Each beat of her heart the blood would surge as it was pushed and drawn as by a pump, and with that surge the veins and capillaries would briefly swell and she in turn would feel a fresh wave of pain as the weight of the chakra invading her sinuses burned anew. It felt like the chakra had become sharp needles in her temple that interacted with wit her blood pressure to cause such intense pain. Could Shinobi really just ignore this sort of pain?

Hanako was involuntarily crying. She reached for more shuriken and threw them weakly at the Raikage. He didn’t even move, his aura of Lightning swatting the attacks away with complete disrespect. ”Ahhhh! It hurts It hurts.” Hanako put her hands on her knees to brace herself further. She just had to ignore the pain. Fight it. Accept it. Become one with the pain. She looked up at the clone who had deflected all of the weak attacks so far and glanced at the wall again. She threw a shuriken which had a back spin. Even as it passed the Raikage’s clone it was moving back toward Hanako like a boomerang. The Raikage’s clone seemingly had expected it to bounce off the wall and was surprised to see that rather than bounce it was already heading towards him. He had dropped his guard somewhat at the weakness Hanako had shown and was forced to dodge out of the way instead.

A slight smile crossed Hanako’s lips as she worked through the pain. Normalized it. Became familiar with it.

Akihiko was extremely excited! It has been a while since Hayate has spoken to him himself. They have had a few moments, but nothing like a training induction like this. Sure Aki was taught his taijutsu fighting style, but the boy really hadn't been able to utilize it that often. The only time he was capable of showing his stuff was years ago at a Pebble Tournament where he placed first for D-Ranks.

The child walked through the Ishiguro door. Upon entering, Aki took slow steps, but stopped after the door closed. The lights were lit pretty well and Hayate was standing far away with lightning surging through the outside of his body. It was something the boy surely took not of not to touch. Aki yelled to taunt the leader. "Listen Lord Hayate, if it is about the underwear.... I already apologized and punished..." However Hayate brushed it aside and stated.

"The drums of war move quicker every day. It is my duty to pass on everything I can to the next generation- and you two are the best we have."

In that moment the clone ran towards Aki at an incredible speed. Aki knew just by looking that his speed would not be able to keep up with the man. So he quickly drew out a kunai and launched it at him in an attempt to slow him down just a little bit. The kunai would fly at Hayate at his fastest speed and strength. Aki would then wait a second and then follow behind it. While running, Aki would channel chakra throughout his body. The boy would try to get near Hayate and go in head first. Regardless of what part that Hayate would try to hit, Aki would release a small part of 2nd Layer limbo to the part that would be struck. The pink haired boy would spin around and use a single finger to take out a kunai.

If everything went well, Aki would use the phasing to get to Hayate's back side. It would be there where Aki would send his right hand holding the kunai, to the back of Hayate. Would he be successful? If all else failed, the child had a plan to get out of trouble.

Aki:

The Raikage drew a kunai of his own and spinning it on his finger swung his fist and tightened his grip on the handle deflecting Aki's distraction kunai. His eyes tightened on the boy who ran for him. He'd aim a punch for his stomach only for his fist to phase through the boy as the boy passed through him and to his back. Instantly realizing what was occurring, the Raikage cleared his throat as an aura of lightning [25 Control/50 Speed] formed up around him.

When Aki's kunai would dig down into his back the lightning would diffuse up the kunai into the hand that held it.

True, Hayate couldn't harm him, but there was always a trade off to every strike. The moments when Aki was capable of harming Hayate were the moments in which he could be harmed- and Hayate would play off of that. Wasting no time he'd rocket forward after he felt the lightning diffuse, and then spin round along with his arms arcing the lightning off of his body to create a "fist" of lightning that swept diagonally at the space that had been behind him.

"If you can attack, you can be attacked." the clone said- though not fully sure if it would work or not.

Shiun:
Hanako:

The Raikage's clone, though a clone, was still Hayate.

It was visibly clear he was a little more than uncomfortable torturing a child and calling it training but, ever the pragmatist, he knew that letting a kid go to war or on missions without properly training or preparing them was worse. His years as an academy instructor and his time training his own disciple, Hayasu had taught him that even if it came from the heart it was a type of negligence to baby a young shinobi. He ran his hand through his hair.

He watched slowly as she stood against the pain, and despite her legs shaking, reached for a shuriken and tossed it for him. Though her attack was in vein she had fought. She had given it all she had with grit and resolve to overcome something by the physical rights of nature she had no right to overcome.

He grinned. This was the best part of teaching. Dusting himself off comedically after his dodge of the shuriken, he locked eyes on Hanako.

"There we go. Life is painful till the day we die. It's also wonderful too- but as shinobis we're going to be constantly brought to the brink of breaking and what's going to decide if you get to keep enjoying the wonderful part of life is your resolve..." he said as he stepped back towards the wall and a separate clone with a reddish tint stepped forward.

"We can keep working on that resolve on things beyond just grit if you want, or we can do something else. Your call kid." he said as he snapped his fingers and a majestic fireball danced in the air above his hand.
Mariya:

The Raikage's raiton clone clapped his hands at Mariya's performance. She was now keeping up with himself- arguably one of the fastest men in the world. If she could do that she would be more than enough for where she needed to be- and that would be enough for now. He knew his daughters tendencies to tunnel and over focus one away to a point of obsessive compulsion.

"Alright, Mariya. I think you should work on something other than your speed." the clone said as it scratched it's chin. A moment later it went back to the wall then stood still, and instead, the rock clone stepped forward.

"I'm thinking we should work on your strength stringbean." the clone said as he flexed, comically.

"You take after your dad. Truthfully, you're never going to be all that durable or much for strength maybe, but we need to get you strong enough to take some beating without dying...." he said as he put his hand high in the air then formed a massive boulder, held up by kinesis. His eyes turned to her as he mouthed "catch" and the boulder went hurdling for Mariya.

Mariya had been catching her breath as the Raikage seemingly monologued forever. In someways, she was still his sassy teenage daughter after all. As the Raiton clone switched position with the Doton clone and stepped forward, Mariya’s attention shot back up.

“I’m thinking we should work on your strength stringbean."
He was right. Mariya’s ability made her strong at nintaijutsu, but she was a little weak. Not really one for throwing down or throwing punches. With her fathers not in mind she nodded only to be taken off guard by the sudden boulder sailing through the sky for her.

Was he fucking kidding her? That was going to crush her like some poor kid fighting a rock ninja in a collapsed cave. Side stepping the boulder as it slammed into the ground releasing a whole bunch of dust, Mariya shook her head.

Hayate shook his hand.

”Tsk Tsk. I said catch!” he yelled as he flicked his hand and the boulder came flying up once more at her, this time even faster. Instinctively Mariya had no choice but to choose fight over flight this time. Squaring her legs apart and dropping into a low stance she put her arms out for the boulder and managed to catch it as it hit her arms and she felt the weight rapidly push her down towards the ground. She used her core and lifted with her whole body being careful not to use her back, and surprising her self, was able to hold the boulder for a brief moment and push upwards, before feeling her limbs give way and forcing herself to retreat backwards.

Hayate put his hand to his chin.

Alright- maybe not that strong yet. he said as his hand karate chopped the air repeatedly, and the boulder began to chisel down, large chunks of it splitting off and returning to the earth filling the whole in which the boulder came from.

His hand then flung the boulder at Mariya again. This time she caught it with a little ease, but still had difficulty keeping hold of it. It was just enough though that it was an adequate challenge for her.

”Now lift that up and down a bunch” her dad barked at her. Rolling her eyes she did so.

One. Two. Three. Four…… Twenty…. Thirty. Her reps continued until her arms became exhausted and she had to set it down. Falling onto her back beads of sweat rolled down her brow.

At the same time Mariya couldn’t help but feel annoyed that here she was lifting rocks. Was this really the best use of her time? She continued on for at least another ten minutes doing rocks on and off. From lifting like a dead lift, to curling, to lifting it behind her head, the rock had become a giant dumbbell of sorts. Hmph.

”Dad, err, I mean your Emperor Highness, err Raikage?” she snickered at the situation of being unsure what words to use here. ”Is this really the best use of my time?” she asked, to which the Raikage merely looked at her with the deadest of dead pan glares. He grinned.

”yes, yes it is.” and then looked at her.

Sighing, she began to lift again… and the Raikage moved his hand slightly, exerting more force upon the weight. Mariya was shocked and almost dropped the rock she was carrying, but luckily was able to recover and hoist it back up.

”Holding that too easy little Mariya?” he teased as he cackled and then cracked his neck. The Katon clone came forth from the wall suddenly and chucked a fireball at Mariya’s feet. Her eyes going wide with panic she did a little hop, skip, and a jump as she danced around the flames precariously while holding the rock. She could feel her arms getting too tired.

”Heavy enough now- hard enough now” the Raking teased. Mariya angrily declined responding to her father. This would continue for some time as the flames came, forcing her to not only bare the weight of the boulder, but move while doing so. Indeed her father was right and it was making her work muscles she never knew she had in her thighs, core, and back.

Actually maybe her dad actually had the power to make muscles that didn’t exist or something because her body was starting to get a little sore. Taking a deep breath she took the rock she was currently holding, and upon a flame getting a little to close, with rage yelled as she chucked the rock at the fire clone. It nearly clobbered him completely but the Dotson clone caught it quickly with his kinesis.

”Easy there kid.”

Mariya rolled here eyes.

802/400 for +2 Strength
Setting down the massive rock she took a brief break- a rest. She collapsed to all fours, but face up to the sky.

”Sometimes I don’t know how to act- Hayate.” Mariya said as she let her arms collapse and her body fall to a wide-eagle spread. She looked up to the sky- well, the ceiling of the obelisk.

”I’m still unsure what it means to be a daughter, a daughter of the Raikage, and a daughter of an emperor[/] no less…” she said as she let out a deep breath. Hayate’s clone’s eyes blinked. He wasn’t exactly ready for such a personal conversation like this. Clearing his throat he faltered about…

”Uh… well… I guess…” Truth be told he had never been much of a son- when he was just a boy his father died and most his clan. He was forced to carry the name of a treasonous lord- but against all odds proved himself in the eyes of his people. He had always been singular in his quests and ambitions.

”I guess uh- it’s about just being honest with each other and helping each other when your down. You don’t need to be a daughter, you’re just born one. And that’s that. Be yourself.” The Raikage said, nodding to himself as if he was convincing himself his words were good.

Mariya giggled a little at her fathers indecisiveness. It was always funny to watch him tilt off into the complete opposite of the fearless leader with all the answers when it came to topics of fatherhood.

”You talk with Eiko-chan lately, father?” Mariya asked, bringing about a sudden silence. She didn’t know Eiko all that well, but her adopted elder sister had always been kind to her to a fault.

”Hmm- not as much as I should.” the Raikage responded. ”But- I’d like to maybe have a family dinner…. or something. No matter what happens we’re all always going to be a family. Even Hotaru too. We’re family.” the Raikage and emperor trailed off.

Though Mariya wasn’t the warm type it meant something to her too- the name she carried. It instilled confidence, safety, and much more. As she pondered that thought during her break she realized she was lucky. Many never were able to have healthy family bonds like this- and that had effects on a psyche.

Hanako regained her composure. She stood up straight as though it was the hardest thing in the world. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and the spittle on her lips. "There we go. Life is painful till the day we die. It's also wonderful too- but as shinobis we're going to be constantly brought to the brink of breaking and what's going to decide if you get to keep enjoying the wonderful part of life is your resolve..." the clone of the Raikage stepped back towards the wall and now another Raikage stepped forward. They were just Clones of the Raikage. She hadn’t even been able to defeat a clone of the Raikage. It was something that stung. She was always praised as some kind of prodigy but the truth was that it was humbling moments like this that taught her that she was so lacking. Humility tasted like dirt to Hanako.

"We can keep working on that resolve on things beyond just grit if you want, or we can do something else. Your call kid." This new clone danced a fireball above his hands. The other clone was probably out of chakra - Hanako supposed. Now there was this one that was in front of her with command over fire. Would he have access to the rest of the arsenal of the Raikage or would he only use the techniques that related to fire? Hanako formed a seal and then opened her palm - under the Jikiton technique all the weaponry that she had spent against the Raiton Clone now returned to her hand. She placed them back in the spot that they belonged to - shurikens in the holster, and the kunais into her seals on her wrists.

She had become physically strong, but she lacked that experience that people like Hayate had. He commanded fear and respect wherever he went. Hanako didn’t want that same thing exactly, but she did wanted to be strong. The ignorance of her past, the weakness she had. She didn’t know why she fought but she wanted to find her own way - and there was one thing she knew for certain. She did not like how she had felt before. She never wanted to feel… helpless. Never again. These clones were an opportunity, but Hanako wanted more. Needed more. These clones aren’t the pinnacle of strength. She wanted to see how tall the mountain was that she was needing to climb. She finished setting all of the weaponry away and crouched into a taijutsu stance.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After the correct hand seals are performed, the user coats themselves in a thick layer of lightning. This armour of lightning forms near instantly and requires [Control] Strength to break. During this time, the user's physical strikes apply the Raiton shocking effect.

”I want to fight the Raikage.” This would be her response. ”The real one.”

She would be better than she had ever been before with the clones. Her chakra gathered in her core and poured out the tenketsu in her body - it began to spark and crackle as its nature changed. It became heavy. It became Lightning. Raiton. Hanako’s physical power would now be augmented with the shocking power of Raiton release. Every hit she landed would transfer the energy to her opponent. The aura of Raiton flickered and danced as though there were a trail of butterflies following her, but it was merely an illusion any examination would prove it was just a simple aura with no fancy shape changing effects. Hanako Threw a Kunai at the ball of fire and then…

Hanako moved.

With 50 Speed she closed the gap as fast as the gods themselves. She went low, her body near to the ground she made a sweeping kick to take the clones feet out from under him. This attack was accompanied by a shuriken flying up towards the clone to cut off any kind of exit that involved jumping over her leg sweep or moving backwards. Though she was short Moving to either side would be cut off by the sweep itself. She would corner him! She was better than a clone. She deserved to fight the Real Hayate! The raiton clone had shown her a weakness, but now she had overcome that weakness!

”I’ll show you what I can do!” Hanako shouted. She didn’t have a nindo ever since Granny disappeared. It had felt that she was wandering around in a fog. Praised as an idiot savant left and right but never did they see the real Hanako. They never saw the woman she wanted to be or who she could be with just a little help… But those words resounded inside her soul. I will show you what I can do. It felt right. Perhaps it was actually just a weak reason to fight, but those words carried with them the promise of a future where respect was given her not because it was owed, or reciprocated, but because it was due. Just like a hunter would be wary of a young lioness. She would become a lioness. She never wanted to feel the way she had again! It was time to Change!

The child was shocked, literally, by Hayate's capabilities. He supposed this was actually the first time he had truly sparred against the Raikage... but what was his purpose to giving the child such a shock! Aki lost grip of his kunai and was surprised by Hayate swinging his body around to face him head on. Maybe the child had been practicing too much on weaker opponents. Or maybe, he just hasn't face a large enough force since his spar with Yuichi.

With minor thoughts, a lightning fist was coming at Aki relatively fast. What was this? The child watched as time seemed to pass by slowly. It wasn't as if he could move fast, but just with everything happening, his brain tried to process what was going on. Nope. No. Nopity Nope Nope. Aki couldn't do anything relatively timely. Between the speed and the power, Aki couldn't form chakra, weave a hand sign, or even full dodge. What he could do though, was prepare for the hit and prepare for the counter. Aki would begin to brace himself and start leaning in the direction he would be sent. With a full on strike, Aki would dip his shoulder and bare the hit.

The child would be flown backwards, but thanks to some training with the Raikage himself, Aki spit a little bit of blood before smirking a bit as he fell backwards. Landing on his other shoulder, the pink hair would bob in the air as he rolled on the ground. With only a single roll, Aki would kick his feet up and launch himself barely in the air for a second before landing on the ground.

From the start of landing on the floor, to the time he stood up, Akihiko began to channel his chakra. The boy didn't want to enter into the Limbo Realm. He wanted to utilize it, but only so that Hayate could see him. Sure he could disappear and launch projectiles from an invisible layer, but where was the fun in that? Aki would release his chakra over his fists. A black chakra would take over where Aki's hands were as he started to run towards Hayate. The child would quickly move his right hand down to his hip where his kunai rested. From there he would whip the kunai at full strength and speed at Hayate. This was an attempt to have him block or evade in order to help with closing the gap between the two.

If the boy was able to get close, he would try to send a couple of punches towards Hayate. The goal wasn't to actually punch him, the goal was to at the very least... touch him.

Lightning’s Shadow • Grounding
D-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Akihiko has trained and perfected distributing his weight during a fall through the art of Ukemi. This means he can naturally (like second nature) perform and seamlessly move into a roll, forwards, backwards or sideways from any position. This has many practical uses but is mainly used as a response to being thrown, knocked over, or falling. When utilizing Ukemi, Akihiko can almost completely eliminate impact damage.

Shoot From The Hip
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Requires: Quick Draw
The practitioner has learned to transition straight from a draw into an attack- using the draw itself as part of the attack and momentum. They can do this at full power, with a slight edge even, and with full accuracy.

₪Draining Dance - First Step
D-Rank Nin-Taijutsu Maneuver
pre-requisite: Denjiton
Akihiko focuses his chakra through his hands and expels Denjiton through them. For three posts Aki can release his chakra into his opponent as long as his strikes are successful. The Denjiton would seep into the opponent and cause permanent -1CP per connected strike.

Mariya placeholder
With godly speed it seemed Hanako had picked up on the clones, while pretty darn close, were not quite the real thing. Before the Katon clone had the ability to get fire out and move it he was taken a back by the storm of projectiles and the assault of blows as she cornered him and destroyed him- the clone bursting into a golden fire. Before she had recourse yet- the lightning clone and the water clone did something unexpected.

"One of my main ways of fighting" the lightning clone said as it pointed it's hand at Hanako and shot a massive lightning bolt her way. "Is clones" the water clone that sprang forth from the wall said as it simultaneously blasted a wave her way.

"Let's see what you can do." said a third clone who at the same time blasted dropped down into a readying stance. Hanako was powerful- too powerful to waste time training on just one clone.

By channeling chakra into his finger-tip and continuing to do so, Hayate will fire a single shot of ration from his index finger. The shot is 1 foot in diameter and 1 meter long, and leaves a 2-inch diameter trail of lightning as it travels, the trail decaying after a post. The piercing lightning bolt travels for up to 25m at a [Control] speed and strength.

*Suiton • Crashing Wave
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive tidal wave of water 10 meters wide and nearly 5 meters tall. This wave travels forward at a [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 25 meters before losing it's steam and failing.

holding - Fuuton • Gale Blade
C-Rank Ninjutsu
By channeling chakra into his hand, Hayate will create a raw volatile 3m long 1m wide vortex of spinning wind that levitates above his hand. This wind cuts like a chainsaw with [Control] strength, eviscerating its way through things with each spin and lasts up to 3 posts.

The clone watched as Aki's hands turned black- not fully sure of what to make of it and before long flinch reacted to the kunai flung his way. With a godly precision it caught the kunai and raised an eyebrow, wondering what was going on. Before long, the boy sprung up on him throwing a flurry of punches. Activating his full speed the clone moved to dodge each, and began to play with Aki pushing his arms as he blocked at his wrists, but then made one fatal mistake when he accidentally redirect the boys hands back into himself.

The clone wasn't all that smart it seemed. The hand smacked into him as the Denjiton instantly ate at his chakra. The clone whimpered a little; then gave a single kick at Aki's feet.
