[Graded]Sensor-tea Perception

In the back of the teahouse, in the middle of the day, sat poor little Kaiinu. The 4' 10" girl was sipping her tea quietly in the furthest back table in the dead corner. Her hair done up in it's usual way. Locks pulled forward to give a large volume to her hair. The pink ribbons tied off to hide her face almost. Her brown eyes were behind a pair of big round glasses. Her forehead protector hung loosely around her neck. She was clothed in a one piece sleeveless beige jumpsuit with the Kumogakure flack jacket over it. This overall gave her a look of a bibliophile [book lover]. This was a small misconception though. She was perhaps the ninja with the greatest specialization in sensory techniques in Kumogakure.

Her small brown ears picked up the quite conversations around the room. The few tables occupied were small and basically filled with elders. It was as such this time of day. Her brown fluffy tail laid lazily behind her. Not too many people and she wasn't alone, This was as close to comfort zone as she got without her sister. She made a motion to the hostess of the tea house and smiled placing an order for a flavored ice pop.

Akkei had decided to check out the family’s business rivals. She after all was a master infiltrator of sorts. Walking in she decided to check the tea of this year’s harvest. She moved towards a booth as she tried to turn the corner of the establishment’s walk ways when the hostess had been motioned to come towards her direction. She didn’t want to be seen in such a place as she quickly sat down in the nearest booth and picked up a menu covering her face.

Her outfit this day consisted of her civilian attire a pair of shorts being mid spring, and a blouse covered spaghetti strap tee. Her silvery hair with its pink highlights hung from her head loosely. Not knowing it from trying to simply blend in but she started to realize there was someone else there other than her own at this specific booth.

The hostess spoke up as she approached. “How can I help you?” she asked looking at the Ote.

Akkei’s mind’s eye focused in on the space around her ‘oh dear I seem to have sat down at a most inconvenient location the exact table that had called this little miss bossy lady she thought in her head as she got a bit annoyed. It wasn’t even like her to do such a think but it seemed this whole espionage thing wasn’t her normal sort of infiltration into even her family enemy’s territory.

“OK.” the hostess said writing it down before turning towards Akkei. “And for you?”

Akkei looked up a bit her silvery eyes glimpsing over the menu. “Oh dear I am sorry I will have a….lotus flower tea please.” She said looking at the first think straight in front of her eyes on the menu. And before she could lower her head to hide her embarrassment the menu was grabbed and pulled straight up out of her hands and closed nearly within an inch of her nose.

Sitting there her eyes shot down how could such an honorable young lady who was raised to be proper explain such a gravity to her table’s …..Companion? Her head lowered in a bow as she stayed silent for a moment. “I am so sorry to interrupt you.”

Kaiinu felt the twing of a nearby chakra. Her ears perking up to listen for the presence but her eyes would catch it first as a woman sat down at her table. _{"It's ok. A tea house generally shares tables."} Her voice was small and meek. Definitly not something one would expect of a shinobi. It was just a little louder than a whisper, just enough to be heard. Her entire body seemed to shrink into a more compacted, upright form. She definitly didn't expect anyone to get this close to her at a tea house. There were times she was mistaken for a genin because of her height at establishments like these, that would often lead others to just ignore the "elite student."

As the hostess walked away to get a lotus petal tea for the woman and her flavored ice, the Ote Sensor's eyes slowly drifted to the table. _{"Umm. How can i help you? If you are looking for seals, my sister is out on a walkie to the country border."}

Akkei raised her sight to the astonishment of a member of the clan of Ote to be sitting across from her. “Oh Dear, It seems I have interrupted another clans peace. I do apologize. I feel my father might be upset should he find out I did such a thing to the noble clan of Ote. Though she said Kaiinu’s clan it was simply cause of her position in the village that allowed her to identify such individuals.

Her Soft Turquoise looked at the lady as she didn’t say anything for a moment, before replying to the young lady’s question. “Seals? on dear no I have so many I can’t even count. Though I suppose I should get that tattoo soon.” she finished as a outward thought instead of speaking.

“No my family is the second Yuurei family. My father and brother run a tea shop outside of town and I come here some times to check my family’s competitions.” Shea said as she seemed to pause at the end. “Thought I do have to admit there are some teas that rival both tea house.” She looked at her wrist as she finished her speech

“Sorry I am Akkei of the Yuurei clan.” She said with a warm hand extended.

Kaiinu seemed to have been intruded on by a clan member of another noble family of Kumogakure. The woman was almost a full foot taller then her, but sitting at a tea table it was hard to tell much of a difference. especially since Kaiinu had a habit of kneeling instead of just sitting. This was mainly due to her tail. _{"Ote Kaiinu, Sensor Specialist of the Ote clan."}. Though she wasn't much for physical contact, she slowly extended her hand and lightly took the woman's it was larger then her own. The baggy false sleeves almost engulfing the other kunoichi's hand before she brought it back to her side of the table. She lifted her black tea up to her lips taking a quick sip. _{"They do have a generous selection from around the world here. Probably why it is the village's top tea house."} It then struck her mind that the woman said her family ran a tea house of their own. Her eyes went a bit wide as she set the cup down quickly and bowed her head. _{"I'm so sorry, I ddin't mean to suggest yourse was worse. I mean..."} She raised her head only to bow it again a little quicker. Her apologetical owing of her head however caused her to go full speed, forehead first, into the tea cup, cracking it open and producing a small gash on her forehead. Feeling the blood moving across her sensative skin, she quickly grabbed a napkin and covered it up. _"Sorry."

Akkei sat there as she spoken with kaiinu the hand reached out to hers as she noticed the size difference before they became covered by the false sleeves. “Well Kaiinu of the Ote clan, it is a pleasure to met you.” She said as her mind mawled over the specialty.

“I would say that the best in kumo is a relative opinion.” She said in a soft tone “Though I do have to say each place does have a unique selection” I do have to say thought. Then she heard the girl quickly apologize for what she just said.

Akkei raised her hand as she waved it in front of her face as she tried to remove the thought. “That’s not exactly what I meant” before she could finish though Kaiinu had gone to bow smacking her head into the table. “oh dear.” She said as she removed the napkin quickly. “That’s probably the worse idea since that doesn’t seem very clear.”

“May I?” she asked as she suggested she would take a look at it. “I may not entirely specialize on one field over another but I do happen to know a lot of different things including medical stuff. She didn’t seem to entirely wait as she started to example the wound.

“I think this might help.” She said before forming handseals and placing her hand over it. She focused chakra into the wound to stop it from bleeding.

*Medical Diagnosis Technique
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the Medical Diagnosis Technique allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*Blood Clot Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

As Akkei started to clot the wound, Kaiinu felt a stronge twing through her system and her tail started to wag. She could feel her sisnter's presence within 100 yards of her. Normally she would drop the money for the drinks and run to great her but she wasn't going to be rude to her impromptu companion. Once she felt the wound closed she gave a small whimper and bowed her head lightly. _{"Sorry. I'm a little clumbsy at times."} The twing from her sister was moving closer and becoming more intense. The only outward appearance was a faster wag of her tail.

Suddenly through the door, a dark blonde girl the same height as Aiken leapt through. She went up to stand on the first table and began looking around. She then bounded from table to table until she pounced on her sister, tackling her to the ground. The two Ote's rolled around in a hug and laughter for a few moments. ^{"Oh my god, you are still alive."}

Kaiinu then motioned towards Akkei. Aiken then sat up and waved. ^{"Sup. Hope my sister wasn't annoying you too much."}

Akkei had finished stopping the bleeding as she noticed Kaiinu start to wag her tail. ‘Wait she has a tail as well. Not this is different than Ikimono.’ She thought to herself as she noticed another body within her range of sensing. She didn’t pay much attention to it as she heard Kaiinu speak. “Don’t worry about it. We all have our weaknesses. It’s the ability to turn it into a strength that makes you strong.” She spoke back to the girl as she was a good example of finding strength in one’s weakness.

Akkei was not known for her wasted time both on and off the battle field. Every action has purpose. Each step had a reason. She had to keep herself motivated in order to get up each day. There always had to be a reason for each breath she took, otherwise it was all meaningless, otherwise she failed at the promise and challenge she had taken from Tetsou Ikimono.

As the door burst open her senses seemed even more active as not only was Kaiinu wagging her tail furiously, but she had now noticed that the change in people around her was different. She noticed one in particular seemed to be approaching her location faster than others were moving. Almost instantly it seemed that two Ote were dancing as they greeted one another.

Akkei’s eyes opened as she returned to noticing the wound. “Oh dear I forgot to finish healing that wound.” She responded out loud, a thought from Akkei’s head, however before she could do anything it seems Aiken had began try to interact with Akkei.

“On the contrary, it was I that should be hoping I wasn’t annoying her.” she said moving towards the two. An out stretched hand greeted Aiken, with a slight bow that she was unable to do at the table before. “Oh the wound…I still need to clear it and bandage it up.” She said, turning to Kaiinu as she released Aiken’s hand.

She examined it a bit more noting that it had still remained closed. She formed another simply hand seal as she focused chakra around her hand and then the wound of Kaiinu. The chakra chewed away any bacteria from the napkin, Akkei’s hands, or the cup that had become broken in the accident. Akkei kept her concentration as she did so.

It didn’t take too long to do so as it wasn’t much of an area to cleanse. “Well it doesn’t look like you need any stitch’s, that’s good. Just a bandage and sometime to heal, you should be good as new. Unfortunately I don’t currently know the jutsu to sterilize utensils and my bandages are on my flank vest scroll.

*Sterilization Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

Aiken sat back in the very corner as her sister was being treated. The short fraternal twin sister was a thinner then the clumbsy one. She removed her hoodie and folded it up setting it on the table. She then gave a silent wave to the hostess, who just nodded and knew her order already. There was only ever one thing she ordered at the tea house. Nothing of Aiken's clothing suggested she was a ninja except for the forehead protector around her neck. Where Kaiinu's was loose, Aiken was tight with no excess off the back. ^{"Well at least your bangs cover this scar."}

Kaiinu looked over to her sister through the corner of her eyes with a death stare. _{"That's mean."}

Aiken just laughed and saw the hostess returning with the orders of the first two kunoichi to arrive.

If one was to take a good look though. One might be able to find more clues as to her ninja status. Her back pack had various scroll like lumps showing. The underside of her scarlet hoodie had black seal markings. Of course the tail and ears.

Akkei finished fixing Kaiinu as she sat back down. “I am sure it shouldn’t scar if you leave it alone and let it heal. Unless you’re the type to scar ion just about anything.” Akkei tried to reassure her table comrade. It was about this time the drinks came back that had already been ordered. “Ah thank you miss.” She said to the hostess before turning her attention back around. Akkei really didn’t care if Kaiinu’s sister was one that dealt with seal jutsu or not. She had plenty of experience using Fuuinjutsu on her own. But she was still inquisitive about her new found ‘friends’ of sorts.

Akkei extended her wrists to Aiken. If Kaiinu was in the right position she might have even noticed Akkei had her own seal on her wrist. However this was just the beginning of the list, the tip of the iceberg as it were. “Kaiinu, was it I believe mentioned you work with seals or something of that nature I think, wasn’t it?” she said inquisitively. She really didn’t wait for an answer before continuing on. “is there any sort of jutsu in particular that you focus on mainly. Like say for instance defensive Fuuin or medical support. Maybe even a style you prefer like chakra infusions, or element based jutsu?” her eyes wide open as if to say I am listening now.

Aiken took a look at her wrist as she gave her sister a cuddly hug letting Kaiinu rest a bit. ^{"I am a fuuinjutsu specialist. Kaiinu here is a Sensor Specialist. We devoted 98% of our energy towards support roles. That are often seen as backup or secondary skills."} She grinned and pointed a finger towards her red hoodie. ^{"As for my Fuuin Speciality,you are sitting but centimeters from the most powerful jutsu in my arsenal. That hoodie has my Erupting Seal on it, an S-Rank Explosive Seal. I am also continuously perfecting my seal sight so I can detect and disarm seals, rendering them useless. then there is Storage type jutsus which i do most of my work on for the shops so ninjas that don't have fuuinjutsu can secure their belongings in scrolls."}

Kaiinu reached over for her flavored Ice Pop and lazily stuck it in her mouth. She had missed her sister since she left for her walkie this morning. She was the only person that could truely set her at ease. What Akkei couldn't see was what aiken hinted towards with her joke. She did truely scar easily. Her back and front were a variable road map of scars, even her forearms had more then her fair share of scars. _{"My specialty is sensory. Currently, if I sit down and meditate, I can feel the chakra of everyone within three miles of here."}

“Supportive roles, huh” Akkei said as she listened to the two. “No role should ever be seen as secondary. The greatest weakness of any shinobi or village would be to do so. I believe one’s weakness in their greatest strength.” She said seeming to almost have wisdom few often see. She looked at the hoodie as she saw the seal.

“Seal sight jutsu that lets you detect seals in order to disarm them?” She said inquisitively. She seemed to begin to think for a moment, as she tried to understand the jutsu. It seemed similar in principal the flawless aim’s eye based jutsu, however different from her ANBU hawk eye jutsu.

Akkei turned her attention to Kaiinu “3 miles is far more then I could possibly do.” she said not trying to give anyway all of her secrets she had trained over the years. “You know I have several ideas in the work for some Fuuin style jutsu. I have also been working on my medical and sensory jutsu’s myself.” she said looking at the two.

Aiken sat straight up sending her sister, ice pop and all under the table. Her tail wagging back and forth as her sister went with a thud. ^{Ohmygod! Metoo! Underneath the table, Kaiinu was slowly sliding back up into the seat rubbing her forehead right where she was just healed.

Akkei became shocked to hear the voice of Aiken so excited as she ran her mouth in un-understandable speed. She gave a nod this way and that, shaking her head yes and no, her face said it all. Her head jolted back a bit as she noticed somewhere in the speedy talk the girl seemed to be saying corn muffin.

“Yea, no…I uh completely…” she seemed almost confused as she tried to continue on. “Wait did you say corn muffin.” suddenly asking. Akkei turned to Kaiinu who slide slowly back up. “I hope you’re alright?” she said “oh please leave that wound alone.

Taking a deep breath, Aiken calmed herself down. ^{"Yeah Corn muffins. From a food starge seal that keeps them nice and hot."} She rubbed her sister's ehad between her ears as she settled back down. The more timid Ote giving off a wanwan as her eyes closed.

Akkei had been stun still by the quick outburst that came over her Ote friend there. “I see, so I guess you like corn muffins.” She said “well I took a different approach to seals I tend t focus on jutsu sealing, and summoning Fuuin, among other things.” She said with much hesitation.

It was true she had been working on several ideas as well in that area among many others. Some medical Fuuin, sealing Fuuin of the weapon variety, and even teleportation summoning type seals.

““I am also trying t build on my chakra sensing skills and empathy skills as well.” She said looking over from Aiken to Kaiinu. A soft smile crossed her face.
