It was a pleasant day for Konoha. Birds were singing, sunlight beamed down across the land, and only a handle of clouds shifted across the sky. All in all it was peaceful for those not assigned duties and chose to relax. But for one particular Awai, it was a day to train and push herself to learn how to control her grandfathers parting gift even more. As she stepped out into small training ground located within the Awai compound, she stood in the center and took a series of slow, deep breaths to try and center herself before opening her golden eyes and staring at a wall that surrounded the clan estate.
She knew she needed a better grasp on her chakra control if she intended to use her Shugojin ability to its full potential. This meant she needed to wrestle with her chakra and try to refine the light construct so it would take shape more accordingly. With another breath taken, the female Jounin closed her eyes and let her chakra seep out, quickly forming the second stage of her Shugojin. A spine was the first thing to form as it seemed to sprout up behind her before ribs grow out, encompassing her body like a protective shield. This was quickly followed by a pair of collar bones growing out from the top of the spine, ending in shoulder joints that started to produce golden arms of light. To top off the creation of this construct, three tails began to emerge from the base of the spine, growing out to a total length of seven meters before they stopped.
As she opened her eyes, she counted up the ribs and was glad to see she had produced all ten properly. Turning her head, she examined the tails and saw that all three of them were shifting around, moving as she will them to show they were properly constructed. Focusing on the arms next, she made them curl at the elbow, the hands flexing a few times to show that they were in working order. Looking up, she shifted the shoulders and watched as the collar bones moved like they were supposed to.
With a check of the Shugojin done, she knew that the construct had a sense memory and since she had originally created it to grow until it had taken the form of a nine tailed fox, she knew the next part of her training was to try and add the neck, skull, two more tails, and who knows what else. Deciding that it would be better to focus on one part at a time, she decided to start with neck and skull. Looking up at the current peak of the spine, Yuzuki focused on that point, feeling the chakra in her body churn with increased fervor as she tried to pull more out.
She watched as a segment of the vertebrae began to form, slowly building itself up. After the first one finished, the next began to form as the Awai Jounin forced herself to push the Shugojin to increase itself piece by piece. Once the neck was complete, she took a moment to let her chakra simmer down before continuing. Simply creating the neck and making sure it stayed attached to the Shugojin was a straining her. After she observed it and saw that it wasn't vanishing, the woman began focusing on the skull, pushing herself to bring the next part of the light construct into existence.
As the base of the skull started to form, it also cracked and broke apart, creating a struggle for Yuzuki as she struggled to maintain the technique. Bringing her hands together and closing her eyes, she tried to balance her chakra control out as she worked on creating the skull. The hand seal did little to help the process, but it held give her a mental focus as she pieced together the skull and in time relaxed herself, lowering her hands as she took a few labored breaths. Opening her eyes, she looked up at the skull and admired it for a moment, finding her efforts to be paying off as she now had the neck and skull finished.This left only the additional tails of the Shugojin to create and she would dismiss the light construct and start all over again.
Turning, the female Jounin looked at the base and knew she was going to add two more tails and would have to make them one at a time so she didn't screw something up. She'd done tail creation before so she knew exactly how to create them so it wouldn't be that difficult to add them. Focusing at the base of the spine, Yuzuki let her chakra ramp up again as she channeled it toward the back of her Shugojin. The first couple of segments start to bloom into view as the construct gained the makings of a fourth tail that steadily grew and grew until it was ten meters in length. Cursing herself, Yuzuki had done this before when she forged the second stage of her Shugojin and had to increase the tail lengths. She knew she'd have to do it again with the third stage as she focused on creating the fifth tail.

Looking at the other three, she focused on them while releasing more chakra, letting it add an additional three meters to each tail until all five of the tails had a length of ten meters. Realizing that the Shugojin had been expanded on but not enlarged like the second stage form, Yuzuki took a deep breath before spreading her arms out, releasing more chakra into the Shugojin. The construct expanded upward and outward as it increased in size, the arms gaining some length, but when she opened her eyes, she saw something she hadn't planned on.
Something like muscle fiber had started to encase the Shugojin, giving it more definition and more resemblance to a fox. Deciding to stop there, the Awai Jounin dismissed the Shugojin and needed a breather as she would definitely need to work on making it some more.
