True Intentions

OOC: Shittiest written lonely, oh well.

Hmph.

It was a particularly precipitous spring, it always seeming to want to rain, and more often than not when Masamune had a mission to do. The past year following his bonding with the Genma had been rather rough, however he had managed along. The village still kept him busy with boring missions within the village- something he worked hard at still, those his will to help others had been rapidly declining. Today however he traversed the rain drop streets with a poncho on, on the lookout for a massive snake that had escaped a shinobi’s laboratory.

Himura Saito- or something like that. He apparently had been studying snakes for years, and had a particularly large when in his care when he died of natural causes. The snake was then unattended for, and it supposedly escaped into the village and had been seen on the streets, definitely freaking out the villagers and probably eating a pet hamster or two. Sadly, he did not glean much information on the snake besides it’s breed, being that of a habu. Being no biologist this did not help very much, and Masamune had to take to the streets to gather further information.

That’s all Masamune really had to say. A rather young snake, Orochi hails form the coastal tropic area between the Fire and Tea Country. While from a quite common breed of viper, his abnormally large size made him a beautiful and rare snake, searched for by poachers. Laying low her learned to avoid these humans, until a strange human stumbled upon him. He was a small human with slit-pupils, an odd scente, a low body-temperature and an odd pale skin. Curious, Orochi ventured close to him, the human making no move to capture him. He seemingly was interested in Orochi, too. With that, he traveled with the human back to his land, the two fascinated and curious in each other. Saito spent years caring for the snake, and it was unfortunate that he passed, but there was obviously no one to have-

Screams rang out into the streets of Konoha emanating quickly throughout the city, making at all but obvious that the snake had been sighted once more upon Konoha streets.

Quickly acting, a new and more fascinating creature had trapped him, a creature with the frail body of a human and had a dark aura about him, his scent and temperature denying that he was a human or any sort of animal Orochi had encountered. This was odd, and deciding to follow him, Orochi would infatuate himself in his fascination. Huh. His chakra was so different from the other mans! (Well, as a snake owned by a ninja previously and trained and mess with, Orochi did have some sense of chakra- not to be confused with chakra sensory, but he knew that this guy's chakra color was different since he trapped him with one of those barrier thing a ma jigs.) His scent was odd! His body signatures were unworldy.

Masamune was certainly surprised when the snake did not try to attack him or kill him, and instead followed him. Counting that as a blessing, he quickly let the snake follow him, walking down the straight all the way to the missions office, everyone screaming in fear as they saw him and the giant snake traverse the streets. The snake made no offensive moves, and only continued to follow him however. He did not k now why the snake had acted that way but he certainly knew that his mission had ended.

Reaching to pick up the snake, Orochi let him, and with the giant snake in his arms, he walked into the mission office and notified them that he had pacified the snake and it was now his pet.

"Pet?"

Orochi had no idea what this pet thing meant- not even in the slightest, but he did know that this man soon started to feed him tasty snacks and animals, and occasionally, he would take him hunting in the forest. It wasn't a bad deal after all, and he didn't have to work hard for food which made it so much better a deal! Well, least didn't have to hunt for the food. Masamune had still worked him hard however augmenting his skills and training him, teaching him how to fight and how to use chakra better, though Orochi still hadn't learned any jutsu or anything like that. Either way it did not bother him much since he viewed it as a fun game.

---

Masamune was never too worried about Orochi, and over time he began to grow even bigger. By now people in Konoha knew Orochi- the snake standing out like a sore thumb, and whenever he took to the streets they didn't even panick. Well. Those who knew him.

He was just that friendly giant snake. That also liked having power over people. So he enjoyed when people got scared, or even more so, when they respected him like some great big spirit! Fun!
