It was a fairly easy, and quick, trip to for the three shinobi to return to the Hidden Leaf. Inodai had not realized how close he actually had been to the village. However, the moment that he stepped through the gate he was surrounded by ten other shinobi. Inodai had expected as much, he had connected to their minds as soon as they had been in his range. He had warned his cousin, as well as her friend, not to interfere, and did not resist as they forced his shirt off of him. He was not sure who had done it, nor what IT was, but once the seal was on his back he could no longer manipulate his chakra, nor connect to any of the minds around him. If the guards had decided to kill him in that instant he would not be able to prevent it, nor would he try. Inodai welcomed death, it meant that he would be reunited with Hinakura, but he did not wish for it.

As he remained on the ground, on his knees, Inodai looked over the village. His eyes filled with tears, though they did not fall, because he had never expected to see his home again. Inodai knew, in his heart, that he had made the right choice. He would rather be put to death, or live in chains, in his home, than die on the run. A weight was lifted from his heart, and, for the first time in a long time, he was able to breathe easily. He was home. No matter what happened, he was home.

In an instant after the seal was placed on Yudai a kunai flew from an alley way as it landed right behind him embedding itself in the ground. Within a flash a young Awai Jounin, no older than eighteen appeared instantaneously behind him. With a swift movement a coat of blue chakra coated Fanho before he placed his hand on the man's back. This coating would lurch off of Fanho and stick to Yudai locking him in place. As he had the man locked in place, Fanho figured a little bit of getting to know each other would be a good start. "So whats your name, and why do you think you can waltz on into my home?" As he spoke he quickly drafted a seal on Yudai's lower back that glowed brighter than a normal fuuinjutsu. Unbeknownst to the Yamanaka MN it allowed Fanho keep an eye on Yudai as long as he was within one-hundred meters.

"I can tell by your traits you're a Yamanaka, so its understandable how you didn't have too much trouble getting in." After drafting the first seal Fanho would move on to the next one which consisted of a paralysis fuuinjutsu on his back again, but this time on his right shoulder blade. It'd disable his arm making it completely limp and numb. Once again he'd place the exact same tag on his left shoulder blade to disable the other arm making Yudai's arms numb and paralyzed. "Everyone feels a little bit safer now, don't we?" A humorous grin cracked across Fanho's face.

Fanho will channel chakra to his body as he focuses on one of his Fuuinjutsu • Blink Tag's which act as a conduit for this technique. As long as he focuses on a specific object or place tagged with this fuuinjutsu he can open space around himself and anything he is touching to teleport there instantly as long as its within 40 meters of himself.

By channeling chakra Fanho will charge his body with pure chakra as his body will glow a light blue color. For this jutsu any opponent who makes contact with Fanho will experience a sudden painless shock and feel their body lock up in whatever position it was as this jutsu seizes their body freezing them in place with 20 strength upon contact for 4 posts unless broken.

Fuuinjutsu • Tracker Tag

After inscribing this tag on someone/object and channeling a bit of chakra into it. This tag effectively acts as a tracker allowing Fanho to know their location up to 100 meters out. This Fuuin is approximately 3x3 inches, and glows slightly more than the normal active Fuuin.

After drawing a 8x8 inch seal on Fanho's target, he can cause one of the opponents arms to instantly suffer localized paralysis as long as the seal isn't removed or disrupted.

Inodai gritted his teeth as the Awai tried to get a response from him, and refused to lower his head. "How perceptive of you boy. Yes, I am Yudai of the Yamanaka clan. My cousin, and her friend, asked me to return with them. I cannot deny the request of my family." Inodai spoke with a regal tone, showing that he would not let his pride be taken from him. He could feel the tingling pins and needles sensation spreading through his arms as he lost the ability to use them, but this was not enough to bother him. Inodai had been tortured much worse than this. I knew the village would not welcome me back with open arms. They are not fools. If I ever get the chance I am going to repay you for this treatment though boy....

Pride was Inodai's cardinal sin, the one that befell him the most, and anyone that tried to damage said pride was immediately Inodai's enemy. However, he knew that, if he were to be welcomed back into the village, his revenge would have to be something that would not get him in trouble. A humiliating prank perhaps? Or even better, Inodai could learn his secrets and spill them to the village.

"They were sent to find me, I would like to know why it is I am being treated in such a fashion. I am not hostile, nor have I made an attempt to fight back." Inodai's tone was one of innocence, and questioning. He had expected all of this, but felt he should at least try to play the innocence card.

Fanho gave a nod as Inodai confirmed his suspicions. Definitely a Yamanaka, and had gotten this close. He had help, but at the request of his family? Odd that a man who turned his back on the village would have such fierce loyalty for a family that still entrusted the village. The Awai placed his hand on Inodai's back before releasing the paralyzing force that binded Inodai as a whole. All that'd remain were the chakra disabling fuuin, arm disabling fuuin, and the tracker tag left behind. He walked around to face Inodai, he wanted to speak to the man and get to know him. He wasn't wrong, he wasn't posing a current threat, but due to security concerns it was a must to ensure nothing could be done.

"While that's true, I don't know what lies in there." He gestured to his own forehead before giving a sigh. "Your actions could be the purest thing in the world, but whatever lies in the heart is something I'll never be able to see into. I'll only have to have you earn trust that you're not hostile." While that much was true Fanho was able to see body language very well, tensed muscles a sign of hostility and anticipation built up, aggravated movements were tell tale signs of frustration. He was able to pick up a bit that Inodai wasn't happy with the reception.

However he couldn't blame the Jounin for being too cautious. "Let me ask you, if some person gone for so many years and never realigning himself with the village were to reappear, would you treat them with the same comfort as you would a friend even though you didn't know what their intentions were." Fanho gave a shrug as he glanced back to make eye contact with their new found guest. He wasn't attempting to pose a threat physically, but whatever mentally lay behind the wall of flesh he couldn't see into. Ironic that a Yamanaka that could understand the rapid thought process of a human, but didn't understand why someone could be skeptical. He lowered his voice to just between the two as he finished his thoughts. "Or would you take every precaution to ensure all your loved ones were safe and sound?"

Inodai spit on the ground in front of the Awai before answering his questions in the same regal tone. "That depends. Did I abandon this person to be tortured, or did he leave of his own regard?" His eyes never left the man in front of him as he spoke, however, his face remained a mask of tranquility. Inodai's disapproval to his treatment could be seen in the bulging blood vessels in his neck, and the tension in his shoulders, but he made not attempt to move. "Did I send this man, and his team, on a mission, and then swept them under the rug when they failed? Or did he kill his two teammates, and flee in the night?" Inodai's voice was so calm that it would seem to many that he was simply rambling, but there was the slightest amount of challenge in his voice. He was daring the Awai to prove him wrong, to show him that the village had not abandoned him. Inodai had complete confidence in the fact that the Awai could not prove him wrong, because there had never been a hint of the village trying to rescue him.

As far as Inodai knew, the village had never come for him until he began to make a name for himself as a ninja for hire. He had never done anything outright against the village, except defend himself from those who hunted him. Inodai knew he was not innocent in any way, shape, or form, but he also knew that the village did not have clean hands either. His body was beginning to ache profusely, because of the seals paralyzing his limbs, but he did his best to hide his discomfort. "Regardless of how the man came to be gone for said years, I, personally, would not trust any words that came out of his mouth. Then again, I, like my family, can root out the truth, because we hear thoughts. Not words."

Fanho watched as the Yamanaka spit on the ground in-front of him. Luckily for the Yamanaka Fanho was being stringent, but not outright rude. It was extremely clear Inodai was prideful. However Fanho had the leisure of reading every missing-nin's profile, and had read Inodai's profile. Being in Mamorinuku had its benefits as well as being in ANBU, Fanho had access to nearly every intelligence source in the village other than Hokage and Council level clearance. His eyes trailed the spit ball before they returned to Inodai's frustration explained through the bulging veins and disgusted way he spoke about the village.

Fanho looked down at the spit ball before even dignifying the man with a reply. It'd only frustrate the Yamanaka more as Fanho sneered. "So you agree personally, but then wanna retort with a personal frustration with the village that you're only sure is correct because you've never personally experienced evidence?" His eyes fluttered to the sky as he began to delve deeper into his point trying to really hammer it home. "Let me ask you, is something false just because you don't directly see it or experience it? Are everyone else's experiences false because you didn't directly experience it?"

The young Awai kicked a bit of dirt around as he gazed at the ground before returning eye contact. "There's been several teams sent after to try and recover you and your team, only they stopped when you started gaining notoriety as a Missing-Nin. We weren't sure what side you were playing on so we aired on the side of caution." Fanho gestured towards the rest of the village before turning back towards Inodai. "I truly am sorry its taken this long for us to get you back or your team. You may think I'm not, but if you were able read my mind you'd see its genuine. The fact you think we left you is bad enough that you don't trust the village." Fanho said with a sadness filling his voice.

It was truly saddening to see him lose faith in the village, the anger, the resurgence of frustration with the village, and the desperation that filled every word he spoke. Inodai had been bottling up this rage and disdain for the village ever since, but now that he was here. It was anyone's guess other than the other Yamanaka as to what his intentions were, and how to reverse the damage done. "It'll take time for you to trust the village again, but I recommend we release the records to you on all that we have concerning what happened to you and your team. You probably won't trust them considering you probably think we falsified it." His eye brows fluttered as if he was already predicting what the Yamanaka was thinking.

"Give it time, give it a good read, and try not to be skeptical of what Konoha did about your disappearance. If we have to have a Yamanaka dig around in your brain to figure out the trust disparities so we can start there, then we will."

[Gara]

Inodai laughed bitterly. Already the Awai had made a mistake. When he spoke next there was a mocking tone in his voice. ”I don't need to read your mind Awai. You've already proved my point. My team was dead before I was captured.” Inodai wanted very badly to go see his family, his baby sister more than anything, which was why he was not fighting back. ”Although, all you need to do is remove your seal on my back, and I will read everything you think.” As Inodai finished speaking, one of the guards holding him in place forced his head into the dirt by twisting his arm. He also said something along the lines of "in your dreams scum," though with more flavorful words. This sent Inodai into a blind rage, however, because of the seals placed on his there was nothing he could do. The viens in his neck bulged as he tried to force himself up with his legs, but was unable to overpower then men holding him.

The urge to kill began to over take him, until flashes of Hinakure flew through his mind. Inodai bit down on his lip with enough force to draw blood, but was able to calm himself. He would only make things harder for himself if he attacked the village guard. The way he was being treated only helped to solidify Inodai's beliefs of the village though. He constantly reminded himself that he was being given the chance to rejoin his family, and his clan. Inodai would endure hell for his family.

Fanho stared down the shinobi that did the arm twisting as he whisked them both off with his eyes. Inodai whether he was bonded by seals or left the same wouldn't pose a threat to Fanho. They weren't helping the situation so Fanho didn't need them. "We really would've liked to have saved your team and you immediately. Unfortunately time wasn't on our side like we had hoped." He gave a sigh as he stood. "The Hokage wants to speak with you because its a rarity we get Missing-Nin coming back and willingly turning themselves in. The last time Missing-Nin arrived they blew up the stone faces and set fire to the hospital and academy..."

His thoughts flew back to when he rescued those from the burning hospital, and saw the Hokage monument explode into splintered rock due to Enma's swarm of crows. It wasn't a fond time nor one Konoha didn't take as a learning lesson. Since then Fanho had racked his brain on appropriate village defenses to prepare for such a thing. Especially after meeting the notorious Kenji head to head. "You're gonna be pessimistic about us until we show you the truth. But even then you'll probably disregard it." Fanho wagged his finger in the air for a minute in opposition to his last statement. "Unless like you said, you're a man who can root out truth, rather than spit in the face of it."

[Gara]

Inodai smirked as the Awai spoke, forcing himself to remain prideful despite everything. When he spoke there was no contempt in his voice, only a feeling of superiority. ”Again, just release your seal. Leave my arms bound. If you are so sure of everything then you'd have nothing to hide. Although….I wonder how our Lord Hokage would feel about one of his own allowing the likes of me into their head.” Inodai laughed slightly, though his face held no hint of humor. He was slowly beginning to feel hollow inside.

While he was there, on the ground, and bound, he was forced to face how others perceived him. Not only that, he was also forced to face himself. He had withdrawn so deep into his madness that he didn't even know who he was any more. He was broken, and the pain of realizing it had begun to overwhelm him.
