The genin was pleasantly surprised that his attack had hit home. He'd intended it to simply feel out the clone - not actually destroy it. The lighting explosion from the clone did not go unnoticed by Isuzu, either.
"...Raiton, then. Noted..." The best way to combat an opponent was to first know their skill set, then create a plan to counter that skill set. Over his time as a shinobi, he'd learned that he had somewhat of a knack for this type of thing - more so doing this passively at all times instead of having to actively think about it. It was one of his greatest strengths and something he always used to his advantage in a fight.
"B-b-bring it." As soon as the words left the Hinoshi's lips, Tenzin had dropped a smoke bomb. Isuzu couldn't see inside, though his mind began working on counters to what may be going on in there. Within a second he kai'd his shuriken seal tattoo on his left forearm and took out a single shuriken, which appeared between his index and middle finger of his left hand. He then channeled his wind chakra into the shuriken, causing each blade of the shuriken to extend outwards. He held the shuriken in his hand between two of the blades - the weapons was now somewhat awkward to hold.
"...Alright Isuzu, come on - you can do this..." A single, deep exhale could be heard before Isuzu chucked the shuriken into the center of the smoke cloud, a slight hum could be heard as it created a small cyclone type effect.
"...Whatever he's doing in there, I should have a general idea of it soon..."
At that moment, Isuzu noticed the clone emerge from the right side - though from his perspective he was unaware if it were a clone or the real thing.
"...Tenzin only mentioned a clone last time - he didn't mention if the clone would be a running theme here or not. Perhaps he realized that puny lighting clone wasn't going to cut it..." The genin let a smirk cross his face as he performed hand seals before a "poof" of smoke occurred next to him. The smoke cleared quickly, and from within the smoke came a clone.
"...One of the most effective strategies is to use the enemies own strategies against them..." Some book he'd read had stated this - though he couldn't remember which, exactly. The clone dashed forward, towards the one clone that'd made its presence known - kunai in hand as well. If nothing else, the genin could figure out if this was a real clone or not, while also observing what became of his shuriken that was now almost into the smoke cloud.
He reloaded a shuriken into his hand as he watched to see what would happen next.

This seal contains shuriken and is located on the underside of Isuzu's wrists. Once kai'd, for next 5 posts, Isuzu can pull shuriken from the tattoo as he pleases, releasing up to three at a time. There are (2) of these, one on each arm, storing 15 shurikens each. Shuriken can be added back via the Fuuinjutsu • Tattoo technique for later use.

Isuzu will channel wind chakra into a shuriken or windmill shuriken. This will cause each of the blades to extend to be 1 foot long in total and cause a sort of small tornado effect to exude from it when thrown, with each shuriken as their own mini-twisters. The size will be 2 feet at its center and extend out on the top and bottom of the shuriken for 1 meter. The widest parts are at each end of the tornado, being roughly 1 meter in diameter. It moves at normal thrown speed and hits with 5 strength, applying the fuuton passive as it strikes. The shuriken will still strike with normal strength.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their fuuton chakra. This clone will be able to act entirely independently of the user for 5 posts before dissipating, with physical capabilities equal to the stats listed below. This clone applies the fuuton passive to enemies it touches.
