It was just before the sun rose, when Takiru himself rose from his slumber. Still dark outside, he removed himself from his bed and walked to his window. Yawning and stretching simultaneously, he began the day as he would any other: examining the conditions outside, which very scarcely varied. Living in the Fire Country, and Konohagakure specifically, he grew accustomed to the comfortable weather conditions, and acclimated to the hustle and bustle of the very well populated village. Staring out his window, he weighed in his mind what should be accomplished that day. He had no actual responsibilities, which meant he would be doing what he what he did anytime he found himself with free time, and that was to train. Usually, it was a toss up between all the shinobi arts and the more physical, mental, and spiritual attributes that Takiru could focus on. Today, he felt very definite in his decision. Strength. After previously training relentlessly focusing specifically on Taijutsu, he figured he should follow it up with actual physical strength training. Wasting no time, he decided to begin before he even headed downstairs to eat breakfast.
Retreating from his window, Takiru moved to the center of his room. He dropped down into a push up and jumped back to his feet, completing a squat thrust or a burpee. He would go up and down about a hundred times, breaking into a sweat. After this quick warm up, he made his way down stairs. At this point, the sun had just risen and cast a light into the kitchen of his home. As per usual, his father was gone already. No matter how early Takiru woke up, he never could seem to beat his father out of the house. And again, as usual, his mother had breakfast prepared for him. Noticing his gleaming sweat, she sighed. "Already, Takiru?" she remarked, causing him to smirk in response. "Never too early to train, mom." With that, he scarfed down the eggs she made and without wiping his mouth, jumped up and told her he was headed out to train more extensively. His mother started to argue, but stopped herself, knowing it was futile. Instead of the outskirts of the village, or even remaining in the Senju compound, Takiru decided he would head to the most generic place in the village to train, maybe even finding someone to work out with. Who knew? Today he was feeling particularly social, as that skill came naturally but he normally had to force it.
Making his way through the village, Takiru was in his head and hardly in the moment. He ignored most of the people he passed, feeling like he was the only one walking through the streets. In his mind, if you weren't trying to become stronger, you weren't worth his time. He stopped for nothing and no one, and quickly made his way to the training grounds of Konohagakure. By this time, it was midday, and to his surprise there was no one in sight but one person. Before approaching the male, Takiru pulled his arms over his head and stretched just as an extra measure. After this he observed the boy. From a distance, he seem a bit taller than Takiru, with a similar shade of hair. After watching the boy for a few minutes, he saw him practice different stances with a poleaxe type weapon. It looked heavy, with a complex head. He watched the boy pause and drink out of what must have been a gourd of water, as anything else would have simply dehydrated him, quickly. After watching him swing his weapon around for a minute, Takiru approached him from behind, slowly, as he hacked into training dummies. He didn't see the boy's face, but he noticed the slow, deliberate movements he made whilst wielding his weapon. Once Takiru reached about 10 meters of the boy, he paused, and continued watching. His curiosity was getting the best of him, as he hadn't seen anyone use such a weapon. He meant to greet the boy, but he simply watched him, fascinated, standing at a distance.
