[NonCanon][Event] The Beast of the Forest

Post by Niro » Sun Sep 06, 2020 12:15 pm

The forest surrounding Konohagakure no Sato shook as if the world was being torn apart as an enormous creature towering 200 meters lumbered throughout the vast sea of green concealing their home. It overtook even the mightiest of trees in size and pushed them to the way side with ease as it continued to approach. The outer most defenses of the village had been obliterated by the beast in short order before coming to the wall surrounding the village and beginning to attack.

Zakuro stood atop the mighty wall of his great village, the wind furiously blowing in his face, causing his slicked back blond hair to become unkempt and ragged, and his jacket to flap behind him in the wind. With the monster's every step, the ground shook and trembled. The normal sounds of the wildlife that had become as normal and familiar as his own heartbeat, were gone. All that was left was the roar of the wind, and the pounding of this beast's massive feet. It pushed aside trees as if they were twigs, and made a clear path straight for the wall. The sun sat above the horizon, but not for much longer. They had three, maybe four hours before night fall, (it had been a long day and Zakuro was beginning to lose track) and whatever this thing was, did not look like it would be taken down quickly.

He reached into his right sleeve, wrapping his hand around the cool steel of the chain that rested inside. In a single, swift movement, Zakuro cast the chain out, instantly unfurling it. Zakuro turned and barked out a command to the other shinobi who started to assemble, "This thing isn't slowing down, so I'm going to make it. While I'm at it, I'll be getting a good sense of it's strength. I need the rest of you to disperse, and keep a solid distance until we figure out exactly what it's capable of. Our number one objective is keeping him away from our village, so I'm going to grapple with it, try to stop it or even knock it down if I can. The rest of you need to get behind it and just throw whatever you can at it. If we can draw his attention away from the village, that will be a small victory on its own."

Brow furrowed, the man leaped out towards the beast with incredible strength and speed. The silver chain flew through the air, trailing behind him, until his arm flung forward, and his chain followed shortly thereafter. As Zakuro's body flew by the side of the titan, his chain was nearly straight in the air, perfectly placed to hit the beast's arm and wrap itself tightly around its upper bicep.

If that was successful, Zakuro landed onto the ground with a skid, digging his feet into the dirt to stop himself quickly. Then, with all of his strength and digging his feet even further into the soil, he held his ground and pulled on the beast, tugging it backwards, or at least hopefully stopping his advance.

Creatures of The ForestShow

phpBB [video]

The large titan of a creature stood so high his head almost touched the clouds, its large legs bounded up and down shaking the earth with every step it made, green glowing eyes darting across Konoha. Unbeknownst to the beast of why, it felt a primal urge to destroy what was in front of it a sombre groan escaped from its wooden mouth as he progressed forward.

Creatures were running up and down the titan’s body, they were around five/six foot in height with vine like bodies with moss and plantation growing on the back of them, matching glowing green eyes and sharp monstrous teeth bearing from their mouths.

As a silver chain hurtled towards the titan, one of the creatures leaped out in front of it instinctively without the beast ordering it to do, grabbing the chain. Holding on to the chain as hard as it could, dragging it towards the ground, three other creatures leaped off sprinting at full speed (40) on all fours towards the man that had dared to attack the titan, leaping at him sharp claws aiming at his body and face.

The creature came directly to the wall, as hordes of the creatures leaped off the beast landing on the ground and running through the village wildly and others attacking anyone nearby. The beast continued to glare over the wall, it’s eyes peering through anyone who dared look at it, striking fear amongst those weak minded. The beasts huge mouth hung wide open as a waterfall of mud flooded from its mouth clinging at anyone who would be coming towards the gate, its large foot pulled backwards ready to gate those same gates down.

It had been a normal day so far for Kazuhiro, his daily training regime had been completed to a satisfactory degree – though there was no marked improvement to be observed in his opinion. The birds had been rather active today, a slight detail that the boy had picked up on but ultimately ignored; in turn giving way to the false justification and assumption of an earlier than usual migration season. But still, it wasn’t an important detail to look into… right?

The trembling ground beneath his feet alerted the young Genin to the presence of something powerful; there was a force inbound that he could not quite comprehend from his position within the menagerie of buildings that composed the streets of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He raced through the village in an attempt to find a vantage point from which to observe the source of the disruption. That was assuming that there was even something to see to begin with. His pearlescent eyes glanced around as he formulated a literal step by step plan to ascend onto one of the rooves atop the buildings that he was currently navigating between at ground level. With a hop, skip, and a jump over a hanging plant pot, Kazuhiro found his feet on the solid tiles of a roof. His eyes looked off towards the gate, widening even before he had managed to put all of his weight onto the leg that softened the rooftop landing for him. He skidded. Twisting on the spot in fear as he saw the behemoth of a woodland entity that was heading towards the village, he had to get away. The Hyuuga’s mind was blank as he scrambled on all fours to slow his movement and oppose his preestablished momentum. Knees and fingertips scrapped over the coarse clay layers that sat interwoven into a solid surface. There was nothing but desperation in his eyes, a glance back over his shoulder only worsened the terror; he could see specs of what he assumed were enemy shinobi or, better yet, monsters that flung themselves into the outskirts of the village. His attention was so drawn away that he did not notice the swiftly incoming end of the roof.

Kazuhiro hurtled off the building, his form summersaulting before landing in a pile of dust on the ground. His forehead protector had come loose, and, with a slight clink, it landed on the ground in front of him. Time seemed to slow for the boy as the sound reached his ears, ringing deep within his very being. He looked down to his slightly grazed hands as they trembled, and then up towards his headband. The finely polished surface of the newly acquired insignia of belonging caught the light from around him, enough for Kazuhiro to see his own reflection – a pitiful sight of panic and uncertainty. Not what he would like to be remembered for. The Hyuuga wiped a tear from his eyes as he leant forward to pick it up in one hand before standing. Was this really all he was capable of, looking at a threat and then running away? Such an approach to life as a shinobi was misguided and plainly wrong.

With a sigh of introspection, Kazuhiro gulped, stowing away his outward apprehensions. Slowly but surely, he raised the forehead protector to its regular position and tied it tight in place. It was not going to come loose again any time soon. A deep breath in followed as the boy reoriented himself and turned towards the source of the disruption, it was his duty to help, and that is what he would do. After weaving a few seals with his hand, Kazuhiro shot off his speed increased by his use of his Fuuton jutsu.

It didn’t take long to arrive and even still it would be a fight to get to the very front lines. Monsters taller than Kazuhiro had swamped into the village, as much as he wanted to take on the colossus himself (for the sake of making a name) it would be more sensible to deal with these smaller creatures. Just as he was slowing to a halt, the Hyuuga raises one finger in front of his face – veins protruded from around his temples and his brows formed into a frown. His Byakugan was fresh and ready to help himself and those around him. He peered outwards to try and gather what information he could about numbers before dashing to meet one of the smaller beasts. Chakra channelled into Kazuhiro’s palm as he dashed forwards, he shot it outwards, attempting to make contact with one of the creatures on the smaller side to hopefully throw it back a few metres towards its origin. He needed to make his way forwards – there he could be of better help.
Jutsu UsedShow
Fuuton • Wind Skating
D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their ability to translate force (-3 Strength). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.
Byakugan:
Byakugan Doujutsu
One of the most famed doujutsu in the world, Byakugan is the bloodline limit of the Hyuuga Clan. When active, the clan member gains 360 degree vision and Penetrative vision, allowing the Hyuuga clan to see the Tenketsu of their enemies. Their telescopic vision can be activated via jutsu. As such, the Byakugan is capable of ability channeling, allowing the Hyuuga to activate their Doujutsu techniques without hand seals. It should be noted that while using their telescopic vision the Hyuuga experiences tunnel vision, making it difficult to see their surroundings.

Prolonged usage of the Byakugan is strenuous and requires a high level of endurance. The maximum operating time a user can utilize their Byakugan at a time is equal to their Chakra Pool stat divided by 4 rounded down, to a minimum of one post. Upon reaching the max duration, the stress of using their Byakugan to it’s limit causes a cooldown period of 1/2 of the duration time, to a minimum of one post. During this cooldown period, the Byakugan cannot be activated and attempting to do so will cause physical pain. Duration is based off total posts where the Byakugan is activated, meaning users can turn it on and off to have a shorter cooldown.
~Jyuuken :: White Haze Dance
D-rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
After channelling chakra into their palm, the user will strike harder than usually performed in Jyuuken. While normally the softest touch is enough to inject the chakra to damage the internal structures of the body, this technique is designed to accompany the user's attack with a blast of chakra, throwing those with a [Strength] less than the user's [Control] back 10 meters through the air.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Shit.

Less than 24 hours had passed since the battle for Soul Country had begun and somehow by the forces of nature or something far more sinister every nation had unilaterally come under attack from monolithic titans of some sort. Just as soon as they had entered the battle, they had all left it. The wildfires, property damage, and broken hearts of a foreign country none of them should have ever been in haunted him but something worse was knocking at the gates of their village and unfortunately he would have to steel himself to the fact that he would likely not get the chance to clear his conscious and help Soul Country rebuild what they had lost in a struggle created by foreigners. This was what being an adult was.

Beyond fatigued the young and fresh bannin was a little exhausted as he tried to find his bearings, disoriented from his travel through the space/time technique that had so quickly whisked him off of one island and back to the village. But there was something else. Something he was sure him and all the other forces who had arrived back at the village were feeling.

Though his boots were indeed on familiar soil yet again, it did not bring solace but instead a new unsettling emotion; one of de ja vu. The last time the village had been attacked he had been too weak to protect it. His Uncle Shou died at the hands of Enma. His classmates died in the forests outside the village. His teachers died protecting the civilians in the explosions that rocked the village. The Hokage himself was injured and bested. Taiga had to promise himself, even if he couldn't guarantee it, this time it would be different.

From the top of the wall he looked out at the massive monster who made it's approach. It had ripped through villages in the Fire Country and found its way all the way to the Gates of Konoha and was a threat that could no longer be ignored. Unfortunately, while they had all been engaged in Soul Country no one had been here to stop the monster in a more rural isolated area where innocents would not be caught in the crossfire. Still, his mind raced at the how and the why. Surely something more sinister had to be at play here.

A young man approached him from behind. It was a Chuunin.

"Sir, this quadrant and the housing on the wall have been evacuated. Citizens are heading for higher ground towards the Kage monument now." the young man stated. Taiga waved him off. "We don't know what the beast is capable of, so I want your squad to continue evacuations. Evacuate the neighboring quadrant then move to the inner sections. I will do my best to keep it stopped here, but I fear the unknown won't follow our plans." The Chuunin bowed once more before he took off at full speed darting down the wall and leaping off into the forest of homes within the city.

Worriedly, Taiga looked back to the small platoon of haphazardly thrown together Chuunin and Special Jounin behind him. Perhaps not everyone would make it home today. All worry was interrupted as smaller creatures began to invade the city, the titan giving them an easy leap into the village. Zakuro had leaped at the beast directly hoping to fight it with his fists... no caution to the wind. He'd do what he could to help as soon as possible.

"The evacuation will need your support." Taiga said waving the men off as he turned his gaze to the massive beast. He doubted he had the power to fight it but he needed to get it away from the village. They would have no chance against it and the minions it had all at the same time in the same place. Leaping off the tower in front of the beasts eyes but up and over its head in the process, avoiding the mud and the mouth, Taiga let out a blood curdling scream.

"Acck! I can't control him anymore!" he said as suddenly he would transform into the Phantom Beast of Earth- a being that matched the size and grandeur almost of the massive titan before them. He would land on the ground behind the beast in safety and then take off, trying to lead it away from the wall or get it to turn its back.

Hopefully everyone else would show up for the party soon enough.

Kasai, Kirigakure's champion and standing Kage had proved to be a formidable adversary and his companions back at the fourth temple were no push overs either. Somehow...they were able to able to remain perfectly in sync with each other during the battle and In the end, Gene had been able to discover areas in his own abilities that could be polished."What could the land of Water and the Land of Stone want with Soul country and why were the monks at each temple targeted? Something about all of this doesn't sit well with me...still, the emergency return order has been sent Leaning back against the wooden frame and rubbing his left hand through what certainly had been messy, tangled columns of silver threads of hair Gene sighed deeply. At one point he'd tried to busy himself by studying the various forms of Aquamarine life between Soul country and Fire country, noting each species as they appeared and remarking upon characteristics that stuck out. This would last until nightfall and then give way to a trance like state of meditation wherein Gene found himself inhabiting a strange place of wonder - a place lacking walls, doors or any such things by which a person could travel to and through freely.

On the first night that Gene had found himself within the strange place he noticed immediately that while there seemed to be nothing in the space it also did not appear to have an end point. For as far as the eye; his eye, could see - the emptiness just seemed to drag on and on beyond space and time. By the second, he took his first steps within the realm and practiced the art of Taijutsu and by the third night Gene made his first attempt at creation within the space. Items that were familiar to him such as his dagger Taishoku, were able to be created much easier than others and on the fourth day of travel Gene attempted to replicate the weapon to no avail.

"While fighting that Shinobi from the Sand village I witnessed him open a tear in space but...how exactly did he do it?" From afar, Gene's auburn hues caught sight of Fire country's shoreline - having sailed in from the North East of Soul country Gene had projected his path to be dead on with Haru falls; a massive cliff that overlooked Eastern Fire country's sea. It was an area heavily protected by Konoha Shinobi (though one might not get that impression if they were to say - go looking for ninja to just pop out at them) and traversed at the discretion of the Council and the Daimyo, by hired Ronin of the region. While he never got the feeling that someone or something had been trying to follow him off of the island Gene believed that by taking such a direct route into the country, anyone who had been following him would only see one path - void of notable landmarks and other such things and getting off the island would have been more difficult than coming to it once their presence had been discovered by the sentries.

As if to be right on cue with Gene's arrival two Shinobi made themselves known to him and approached the small ship as it'd made land. "Who do you think that could be?" One of the ninja, a stocky fair-skinned fellow wearing a navy blue ensemble beneath dark grey plated armor had asked while adjusting his Konoha forehead protector, staff gripped firmly as they drew closer. "Your guess is as good as mine. Don't let down your guard." Winding around a path of Rocks and stone, the two traversed their way down and around the Cliff in order to meet this newcomer. When they arrived, they would find Gene stepping out of the boat onto what small section of a sturdy platform he could find. Water from the sea splashed against the sides of the cliff and squawking birds of the region made their song known over the sound of approaching foot falls and the ever so slight jostling of a groups of pebbles on the ground where neither himself or those approaching had attempted to hide their presence.

"I am a Shinobi of the hidden Leaf."

:katon: That same day... :katon:
Scroll addressed to Gādo Tower Bravo:
I've...I've never seen anything the likes of this horror before. Its reach spanned the sky and with the force of a single step managed to wipe out an entire formation! It came from the forest lands and brought hordes of monsters that threaten the walls of the village. We've been given strict orders not to allow these monsters into the village but at this rate...

The letter ended abruptly. Searching it closely for other clues, Gene noticed that there was blood stained on the far left corner. "This is worse than I thought. It isn't looking good for the person who sent this letter out but at least we've got some clue as to what that rumbling was about earlier. I am certain that the village has been notified of the dangers by now and are handling the situation as best they can. Word from the Hokage may arrive soon, till then we have to be on our toes." The three Hidden Leaf Shinobi nodded in agreement, each seeming to come to terms with the situation in their own way. Finally, one of the other ninja spoke up. If you're heading to the village there is a way for you to get there in a fraction of the time it would normally take. Though...I'm a bit skeptical to try it. Any failure and you could be turned to mush." Gene shuddered at the thought but dared not shy away from his responsibilities as a Hidden Leaf Jounin. Stilling his nerves he'd simply remark, "I fear that a swift arrival may be the best decision in this case. Now, lets get a move on."

Thirty minutes later Gene had been standing over a platform marked with a fuinjutsu inscription. Given instructions to relax and to keep his thoughts clear he followed suit and allowed the specialists do their jobs. What followed next may as well have been a blur - Gene could not recall exactly what had happened; only that he'd no longer been standing over a platform at the Gado tower and now found himself near the great stone faces staring over a large vantage point. From there, he could see the enormous beast in its rampage but not the hordes of creatures charging for the wall. "...What the hell?" Gene uttered to himself, cursing the sheer height and ferocity of this bizarre enemy. What Gene could not have known was that Zakuro, colleague from days past, had charged ahead and attempted to take on the large beast himself.

Heading in the direction of the breach Gene set his pace to one that would not tire him out in the coming moments as he was sure that he'd need to rely upon all of his endurance and strength in order to meet this foe. Swarms of panicked villagers fled in the opposite direction not wishing to be caught up in the violence and Gene flew past them sighting two creatures but also the massive wave of mud that were crashing toward gaping hole where the beast had kicked. "Get clear of the breach!" He'd shout while bringing his hands up to weave signs but stopped, skidding to a halt fifteen meters away from where the hole in the wall could be found. Laying eyes on the beast for the first time Gene found himself unsettled by its appearance and even more so by the tremors that came each time it took a step forward. "What on earth is that thing? No, it doesn't matter. Whatever the hell you are you're not getting into this village!"

Shifting his body rightward and then side ways, Gene faced the horde with his left shoulder to the oncoming maelstrom of chaos. He'd positioned the right foot to be ahead of his left and allowed for his right hand to remain slightly out stretched in front of him with the palm facing skyward. Ready to move on a dime if necessary, Gene prepared himself for battle and kept Taishoku concealed behind his back within his left hand. I'll have to hold them back until reinforcements can arrive and then go and assist first response teams. There'd been a tone of optimism in the thought but Gene knew that facing such a large number of enemies would not be easy and taking on the goliath of a beast on his own was simply not possible. However, many of Konoha's Shinobi had been sent to Soul country in an attempt to stave off annexation attempts by the Water continent - it was possible that the village simply did not have the man power this time around to combat a major threat. These thoughts of course, were pushed aside in favor of the task at hand.

"I'll be playing for keeps here...no slip ups."

phpBB [video] As the Konoha team was summoned back home, each member scattered about Fanho glanced at the Mamorinuku team tasked to bring him back in. "Just when the fun was abou-" Just as he was cut off a Mamorinuku member had pointed at the large towering wooden beast approaching the gates. Within seconds the young Bannin gave a sigh as he teleported to just below the wall within seconds. Fanho channeled chakra as he made 4 clones of himself each, those clones taking a position directly underneath the mud as they all channeled large amounts of chakra to their fist releasing it as the mud wall came down dissipating it into nothing more than harmless speckles of dirt that showered in the area.

Fanho channeled another amount of chakra as he breached the top of the wall a large nine-tailed fox made out of shimmering Hiton leaped over and in-between the beast and the gate focusing chakra to its fist as it punched back releasing an explosive amount of hiton into the humongous tree spirit's foot batting it back to prevent the gate from falling. Despite the clone only being a fraction of the large spirit's height, it had more than enough power packed in it to hold its own. "Hey didn't your mother teach you to knock with your hands and not your feet? Although I guess that'd be kinda hard without an arm." As Fanho finished his quip he quickly shot off a beam of light capable of searing through nearly anything at the beasts arm arcing his arm across attempting to slice it off.

With Fanho's clones having dealt with the mud wall, two sprinted off throughout the village squashing any other minions it might have hiding out elsewhere. The main goal and focus were to hold no casualties, and as far as he could tell there had been none so far. The other two clones awaited at the bottom of the wall sitting and meditating waiting to intercept any other attacks that the real Fanho would leave behind for them, but also building up chakra while Fanho battled the large beast. He'd need it after all, he was probably the only one with enough firepower to bring it down in the village. With both attacks directly on the village out of the way, and the other's taking care of the minions Fanho began building large amounts of hiton chakra within himself passively as a fuuinjutsu wrapped itself around one of his arms sealing itself open, prepared for anything happening next.
Jutsu UsedShow
Charging Will of Fire ability, +10 strength (10 strength total)

Ninjutsu • Advanced Shadow Clone Technique
S-rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the user's stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for stamina, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect. The advantage of this form of the technique is that once dispersed, the chakra distributed to the clones returns to the user, allowing any unused chakra to be regained, slowing the draining usage of this technique. The chakra returns to the user at a different rate depending on the user's control.

Hiton • Divine Tailed Beast
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Fanho will channel chakra and create a large 9 tailed fox shroud in similar form to that of his companion. This clone can be controlled directly while Fanho or his companion is inside, or it can function as its own being. This cloak allows him to pull additional people into it, and prevents them from being blinded by its aura or burnt. The 9 tailed fox measures 50 meters in height, 50/2 meters in shoulder width, and 50/3 meters thick. Its arm span is 50m, and each of the 9 tails are 50 meters long and can be controlled as if a limb. The clone has the same stats as Fanho, and is able to perform Hiton jutsu.

Hiton • Divine Star Shooter
A-Rank Ninjutsu
As Fanho focuses chakra into the palms of his hands, he can shoot off laser beams that fly with the speed of 40, and strike with the strength of 40 capable of burning a hole in most defenses. He can shoot off up to 4 laser beams, and they each have a range of 65 meters. These beams can be held in his hands for up to 5 posts before fizzling out.

Force Fuuinjutsu • Hidaki Smash
C-Rank Fuuinjutsu
Fanho will channel chakra creating the fuuinjutsu across his arms. This fuuinjutsu stores up to [Control] strength worth of kinetic strength (IE. A punch, ball tossed with strength, etc). He can channel additional chakra to the fuuinjutsu to fill it with the strength or absorb it from an incoming attack taking the strength out of it and allowing him to redirect it.

The extra chakra charged in his fist/foot will release a brutal raw concussive force of 50 strength and speed in an area that expands from his fist/foot for 10 meters. The height/width of the area is 50x50 meters. While Fanho's fist/foot is charged it glows bright with the power of hiton.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Post by TheLacarix » Sat Sep 19, 2020 5:17 am

The sound of screaming from civilians filled the air, footsteps slamming against the ground sounding like a stampede as they searched for safety. A large tree like beast glared over the wall, it felt as though it was staring directly at him.

Aizawa, Nobu. The young Genin of Konoha frozen with fear, his lip quivered, and his hands trembled and even his knees knocked. He’d never such fear and dread before and in all honesty he didn’t know what to do, his combat experience was lacking apart from sparring and training within the academy he’d seen and done very little and now to be facing such a mammoth of a beast seemed and impossible task, not just for him but the entire village.

There out in front of him was a familiar face, Hyuuga, Kazuhiro in the midst of it all throwing back a ravaged beast made entirely of wood through the air with a blast of chakra. It almost shocked Nobu more than the giant beast, how could this genin be so courageous.

It gave him inspiration himself, the thought and dread quickly washed away. It’s what they had trained for, to protect their village to give their lives in necessary. Nobu realised however, that on his own he wouldn’t be much use and likely neither would the Hyuuga. With a nod, the red haired genin took off his white coat flowing behind him as he weaved a flurry of seals channelling chakra as he felt a warm sensation pour through him, engulfing his entire body in flames as slid across the ground halting next to the Hyuuga.

Nodding to him with a smile "I hope you don’t plan on having all the fun by yourself." he said through a grin, with hopes that the pair could work together to at least work together to press through the hordes coming towards them.

Katon • Hot to the Touch
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will perform a sequence of hand seals and will create a layer of katon chakra just above their own body, covering it entirely in flames. Once this coating is made contact with, flames will stick to the user chasing them down up to 10 metres, equal to the speed of the users control. This will last for 2 posts.

Hordes and hordes of the forest creatures continued to leap off the titanic beast over the wall and into the village, screaming a deathly scream as though they were in agony, forced to do something they didn’t wish. Chasing down innocent villagers who coward in fear and would soon need saving, by the shinobi sworn to protect them.

The creatures already on Zakuro would attempt to wrap around him, dragging him to the ground and holding him by his arms and legs (30 Strength) if they were successful they would attempt to scratch his eyes out.

The large beast paid little to no attention to Taiga, due to the Mass Mind the genjutsu took no affect on it. Meaning he wouldn’t see no gigantic beast form, it’s attention would remain firmly on the gate, desperate to get through to reclaim back Konohagakure No Sato for the forest. This however didn’t mean that Tagia would get off scot-free, the three creatures would charge towards him leaping at him and trying to drag him to the ground (30 speed, 40 Strength) if successful they’d begin ripping at his stomach and trying to drag out his innards.

The mud streamed down towards the ground, however before it could hit the ground and spread it was struck with multiple attacks, however it wasn’t enough to stop all of it the beast lifted up it’s head and changed the trajectory shooting it over the four clones and continued towards the village though it would be reduced, anyone within the middle of the square would be caught within the mud, which would spread out to around 60 metres and dry up, entrapping anyone. (20 Strength) it clung to villagers who pulled themselves free, hordes would soon be on top of them.

A beam of bright light ripped through the beast’s arm, up across its shoulder. It however wasn’t quite strong enough to severe it completely it waned and hung on by roots and fragments, another blow and the arm would soon be gone.

The beast’s foot was held in place, preventing it from kicking through the gate. The large green barrier that stopped the beast from reaching its goal, it groaned, perhaps in annoyance. Though this soon stopped, as the ground beneath the beast shook as roots from the ground ripped through the air slamming the tailed beast clone by the throat and wrapping it’s body up against the gate, these roots continued up the gate at incredible speed and strength and would grasp around the real Fanho and anyone else stood atop the gate and walls of Konoha, this man was coming an nuisance for the beast and he’d need to be stopped. The roots pushed against the green gate as it groaned against the powerful roots, almost ripping it from it’s hinges.

The beast brought down both it’s arms and pushed against the gate alongside with the roots pushing with his entire strength (50) it would soon be open and the beast would be within the village.

"Finally a nice day to finally hang the laundry out to dry" Inori muttered to himself as he affixed his wet, recently cleaned clothes to the small washing line in his back yard with small wooden pegs. Coming to an unfamiliar garment that obviously didn't belong to him since it was female gave the young man a moment of pause before moving off in the distance caught his eye "Huh big tree, Senju out doing practice?" the large explosion that followed oddly seemed to cement that idea in his mind for a moment before the screams reached his ears.

Looking down at his pyjamas Inori sighed before running up the wall of his house and moving as quickly as he could hopping rooftop to rooftop towards the sounds of conflict and more importantly, distress. With a small modicum of relief, Inori ran up the outer wall of Konohagakure, despite the sounds coming from outside at least they were coming outside. The relief, however, was short-lived as his eyes were filled with a blinding display of power from outside and upon reaching the apex he could see the beast that threatened the village and the shinobi tasked with defending it going toe to toe. "It's my fucking day off you know, you couldn't wait until Wednesday!?" Inori called out in frustration as he launched himself from the summit of the gate tower, in a flurry of hand seals a duplicate formed in the space next to the Yamanaka and in unison the pair mimicked another set of hand seals gripping newly formed stone kunai in one hand before placing their free hand and feet against the remaining wall to slow their descent.

"Get the civilians to safety" the original called out to the mimic as the pair split off to free panicked civilians from their now hardened muddy prisons.

Things had just begun getting interesting in Soul country when suddenly Konoha’s emergency defense network activated, recalling the high value combatants that had been dispatched to the Soul country defense mission. The Hokage felt the teleportation network activate and found himself recalled to the Hokage building alongside his son. Others had been deployed to the wall, specifically members of Mamorinuku. It took him a moment to assess the situation, glancing around the expansive village from his vantage point and quickly noting the looming shadow and towering entity of the tree spirit as it approached the distant main gate. Releasing the block of chakra nullifying his hearing he adapted to the new situation. “I see, has someone forced the spirits of the forest to turn against us?” he wondered solemnly. He had developed a strong relationship with the forest spirits as a Jounin and been chosen personally by them as the Champion and Protector of Fire country years before he had actually become Hokage. Perhaps, even he had failed in his duties and breached some level of trust with the spirits and they had turned against him of their own accord, though this seemed unlikely. He still felt their presence within him, a strong connection. In a moment his two ANBU guardians arrived, waiting for the return of their leader, “Take Yozei with you, protect the villagers and fend off any smaller spirits. Begin emergency evacuation procedures” he commanded. There was no question that Takeo would be fighting in the front lines against the colossal spirit, that was simply his nature as a leader though he fully trusted in his many powerful allies to stand as equals with him and repel this monumental threat. Fanho especially was offensively even more potent than Takeo himself, he would be critical in defending the village against a threat of this size. “Send word to our allies in Suna, this may be a coordinated and deliberate attack” he instructed. He checked to ensure the com link was still active, that meant he could still contact the Raikage directly. “Lord Raikage, what’s your situation? Have you been recalled to your village as well? It seems our forces will be occupied in Konoha. Fanho, hold the line. Reinforcements are on the way.” He informed. If he knew the young prospective successor, he would be among the first on the scene to combat the creature.

With that Takeo darted off across the village. His earthen armor was still intact and as he approached the wall, he observed the massive wave of mud which sprayed everywhere as Fanho intercepted it and then the massive torrent of roots sprouted out of ground. He was still a few hundred meters away, running along rooftops as he began forming hand seals and waited until he was within 50 meters for the flames to envelop his body. He drew his pair of daggers and quickly slashed through a number of smaller spirits as they clambered through the openings around the roots. “Spirits of the forest, I am Natsuki Takeo, Champion of Fire Country and 17th Hokage of Konoha. Turn your attentions to me and feel the flames of the Will of Fire” he announced as he tossed his weapons into the air and performed a series of handseals, releasing a large phoenix shaped stream of flames as he finished his statement, holding the last seal and engulfing the spirits legs as and the assortment of roots in flames he moved the torrent of fire back and forth, likely also incinerating smaller spirits if they continued to attempt entry into the village. After ensuring the wood spirits were at least momentarily repelled and covered in flames he released the seal and seamlessly caught the knives before he dashed toward Zakuro to move into a better position to coordinate attacks. The wall would burn as well to some extent but there was considerably distance between the main gate and any closest buildings aside from the small outpost which would already be vacant as shinobi maneuvered on the expansive wall and retreated deeper into the village to evacuate civilians as the alarm bells sounded throughout Konoha. The handful of elite shinobi in the area would be more than capable of keeping a wide enough birth from the trajectory of the flames and the massive spirit to avoid being caught in the Phoenix Fire.

Meanwhile the masked ANBU operatives as well as the red-haired Special Jounin would be moving toward the pair of Genin making a stand against the approaching hordes of smaller spirits, Along the way they ensured civilians were all moving toward the center of the village and the expansive underground emergency bunkers beneath the Hokage building that lead out to the Hokage monument as well as several other points on the opposite end of the village. They would soon join the fight but only after ensuring the area was clear of civilians and potential casualties that might be caught in the cross-fire as the battle was sure to continue to escalate beyond the somewhat controlled and isolated attacks battering the sturdy main stone wall.
Jutsu Active/UsedShow
Doton • Combat Armor
B-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals Takeo will flow Doton chakra throughout his body, enveloping himself in a dark brown stone suit of armor. The armor encases his clothes and weapons holsters though leaves them accessible enough to draw from. Enveloping his head is optional and if opted to only his eyes will remain exposed. All in all the stone is about an inch thick and capable of defending against a strength of 50. Throughout the 5 posts in which the armor lasts Takeo is able to extend or retract stone blades which extend from his forearm past his hand at a speed of 20, the maximum length of these blades is 2 meters.

Katon • Aura of Sakuretsu
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 35 Control
Takeo had developed this technique as the pinnacle of close quarters Katon ninjutsu, made only possible by those with exceptional chakra control. After forming a lengthy set of hand seals the user will shroud their entire body in an extremely thin though powerful layer of protective chakra which will serve as a barrier between ones flesh/clothing and flame, mitigating a great deal of its heat. Next the user will be enveloped in an aura of flames, erupting 3-6 inches around their entire body with such intensity that the air ripples around them. Any who comes in contact with the flames will receive 4th degree burns as the result of a direct strike and 3rd degree burns from glancing blows. In addition, the user is able to enhance ones strikes with bursts of flames, unleashing up to 16 explosive tags worth of force. This explosive power can be divided incrementally or used all at once but can’t exceed 16 tags worth. The aura lasts for a maximum of 7 posts.

Katon • The All Consuming Phoenix Fire
S-Rank Ninjutsu
A devastating technique capable of decimating landscapes and suppressing powerful foes, the all-consuming phoenix fire is initiated with a series of hand seals and a massive buildup of chakra, culminating in Takeo’s chest. Holding the final bird hand seal Takeo will exhale a phoenix shaped stream of blazing fire which then reverts to a standard cone shape after first impact. The stream extends 60 meters in length, covering a 25 meter wide area at the focal point of the flames. The heat from this attack is so intense that it can incinerate stone and reduce full trees to ashes. Any who is caught in the direct flames will suffer from intense 4th degree burns. Takeo can maintain this technique for up to two posts and can turn his head to change the angle of the attack accordingly. During this time Takeo must hold the final seal and is limited to minimal body movement. The flames move at a speed of 40 and impact with a force of 40.

Beads of sweat carved channels of anxiety across the Hyuuga’s face as he continued in his efforts to push back what mystical forces he could. Their screams pierced his ears as visual information bombarded his almost 180-degree view of his surroundings, the Byakugan definitely had their work cut out – but the boy needed to press onwards. He heard something about losing control, then Kazuhiro winced as another colossal figure emerged almost as if from nowhere. Another wave of fear cascaded through the boy’s body, he had never thought that such creatures would actually exist, never mind that he would see them so shortly into his career as a shinobi. He could feel his knees subtly shake as the combat continued, it was not only a physical battle against forest monstrosities but also a battle of the boy’s mind against his body that was desperate to get to safety.

A familiar voice caught the genin off guard after a few more intense moments of combat; ironic given the voice of Nobu was the least threatening aspect of the immediate environment for Kazuhiro. He did not turn to face his fellow genin as Nobu arrived, though he was looking at his acquaintance and once sparring partner. “I am glad you have arrived. Though this is not a fun situation.” He spoke matter-of-factly, though not meaning any offense in his bluntness.

Kazuhiro ducked to avoid an incoming piece of shrapnel from the battle that soared through where the top of his head was only moments before. “We have to find some way to help Nobu. Our presence here has a minimal impact compared to the other shinobi among us.” His palms shot out together as he spoke, striking at another one of the smaller monsters that approached the pair of young leaf ninja. “Do you have any orders?” His mind focused on his Byakugan, continually scanning the area around the pair. “I can’t count how many there are at the moment, I don’t have the time to stop and think.” There was audible frustration interlaced with a hint of anxiety in the boy’s voice as he spoke to his skilled peer. The academy had not prepared him for such an event, and secretly Kazuhiro prayed for some further instruction from someone who knew what was going on. Though such a person might be hard to find given the current situation.
Jutsu UsedShow
~Jyuuken :: Twin Striking Palm
D-rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Often used as a finishing strike, the user will charge chakra through their palms before they deliver the blow. They will then strike with one palm inverted over the other into the opponent’s abdomen. The chakra that is injected directly into the opponent’s solar plexus causes significant pain and stands a very large chance of winding the opponent providing their [Strength] does not exceed the user’s [Control]-5.

~Byakugan: Telescopic Vision
D Rank Ninjutsu
By channeling a small amount of chakra to the Hyuuga's Byakugan, the clan member uses their doujutsu to zoom in like a telescope, allowing them to see much farther away. In doing so, the Hyuuga member is able to see up to 250 meters away as though they were mere feet away. It should be noted that while using their telescopic vision the Hyuuga experiences tunnel vision, making it difficult to see their surroundings. This jutsu can be maintained as long as the Hyuuga channels chakra to their eyes.

The half face mask wearing genin was in the middle of budding his mother goodbye, his head bowed slight down when he felt something. A faint rumble through the ground. It was something that caused some confusion as it was strange occurence and they weren't near any of the large training areas. His mother being a jounin could also sense something was wrong as she seemed to disappear before reappearing up near the top level of their home, in the distance she could see the scene unfolding. She yelled down to her son, "Move to the academy and help evacuate the students and civilians. Something major has happened!!"

The sense of urgency in her voice took the genin by surprise, what could be happening to place her on such a level of alert. "Yes mother!" He quickly gathered himself and replied back, a hint of a smile hid under his raven mask, at least she had treated him as a ninja and not some helpless child. He would never allow for himself to be that child from back then ever again...no matter what. At least that was what he kept telling himself as he turned on his heels and pushed off the ground in order to ascend to a higher level to travel the fastest route to his destination.

It wouldn't be until a few moments later, across jumping from a handful of rooftops that he would hit a peak mid jump that a loud explosive sound from the direction of the front gate reached ears. Turning to glance at the source of the noise the towering upper half of the colossal tree spirit creature could be seen looking over into the village as specks of something flooded off its body and into the village itself. "How..."

Mid jump and his body was frozen, mind in complete disarray at what he had just witnessed as he came down on the next rooftop missing his footing and ending up falling down. Crashing into the roof he shald slid and half rolled across and off the other side, reaching out at the last moment from Instinct alone to grab the ledge. This left the genin, not hurt but still confused and afraid hanging for a moment by the single hand. "Is this happening again?" Jin's memories flashed back to the invasion as an entry academy student before shaking his head from side to side with both eyes shut tightly.

"I won't be useless...." The words quietly slipped out of the slender teenager's lips, muffled even more by his mask as the golden eyes popped open. He wouldn't allow for him to just be a useless person fir his family or his village. The sounds of the opening battle at the gate brought him back into the moment now as he used his orher hand to grasp the ledge and then kick off to a lower roofline. Of course he would be of no use against such a creature but he could still protect the village and its citizens.

As he moved closer to his original destination the short teen landed on a rooftoo behind a black haired genin who looked younger than himself, but was able to knock back the grotesque looked tree creature. These must have been what had been falling off the giant at the gate but they had already made it so far into the village. It shocked him but in that moment another slid down next to the Hyuuga, a red haired genin. They appeared to know one another, yet at the moment Akujin couldn't recall their faces but finding them helped him to make his own decision. If they were here then this was where he needed to be as well...the left hand reached back pulling a scroll out as the right hand removed a special pen that was inserted to the ink well on the clan drawing scroll.

As the gloved right hand bwgan to swish across the papayas scroll with the ink, chakra dlowed from the genin into the quill and ultimately the ink that began to take the shape of what appeared to be a trio of python like snakes. The left hand opened the scroll across his knee as he knelt and called out to the two genin below. "Care for some backup?"

Hayate grunted, his chakra channeling into the seal Fanho had given him in Soul Country.

It appears Takeo, that we are under attack by a monolithic titan too... Given I am the only high ranking official on the scene yet, things don't look too great but... I'll do what I can for my people...

The transmission cut as he finished his response.
So it seemed that his attempt to trick the beast had little to no effect- despite his position right before its eyes. This told him two things: 1, it was deadly focused on a specific task. 2. In some regard, the beast had an ability to completely resist his genjutsu, despite his genjutsu level being likely the highest in the village. These two things were troubling but with limited time to think about, smoke flowed off Taiga's body at the last possible moment, causing the two creatures to slash into each other instead. He'd then sink into the ground.

From beneath the ground he felt everything, including the massive fox. The young shinobi instantly plotted his next action. The only thing big enough to do some good damage.. was the fox. Bursting up out of the ground near the fox at full speed he would grab it, phasing it with him and pulling them both free of the roots as they moved through everything with no resistance like ghosts. The fox freed, he would focus his efforts on the massive golem once again.

"Any Hyuuga here? What do you see, I want eyes on him!" the young man barked out loud enough so anyone in the nearby battlefield could hear. Perhaps it would surprise others but Taiga had grown in more than just his own power- he'd realized exactly why the village existed. Together, with everyone unique abilities, they were unstoppable.

"Taijutsu users on the spawns. Ninjutsu users no more solo attacks! Layer your attacks. Katon users lay suppressive fire!" Taiga grunted as his hands sealed. Utilizing the communication seal Fanho had previously given him he began to speak as he sprinted forward running beneath the beasts feet and slightly behind it, his hand channeling.

"Fannyboy, I'm going to make a pit behind its foot. We need to get it out of the village and preferably into the forest. If your fox could knock it back, that pit will make it trip and maybe it'll give you a chance to do your magic tricks and move it away." Taiga said as he slapped the ground and began to hollow it out directly to the back of the giants foot.

Dicsiplines for Materials:
[Woods]
D-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Through training Taiga has gained the knowledge and discipline to assimilate himself with Wood, taking on its properties.

[Earths]
D-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Through training Taiga has gained the knowledge and discipline to assimilate himself with Earthen substances such as stone, clay, or dirt.

Actual Techniques:
[Composite Assimilation]
B-Rank Stance Taijutsu
After making contact with an eligible piece of solid matter, Taiga will utilize his Genma abilities to assimilate multiple materials at once, or add more materials to his current assimilation, allowing his body to become a composite of the multiple materials at once. After assimilation he is able to "phase through" or "merge through" objects matching the materials he has assimilated. This technique must be used with a discipline for the appropriate material he is merging with.

[Contact Assimilation]
B-Rank Stance Taijutsu
After making contact with an eligible piece of solid matter and making contact with another party or item, Taiga will utilize his Genma abilities to assimilate himself and the target, for as long as contact is maintained. After assimilation, both parties will be able to "phase through" or "merge through" objects matching the materials he has assimilated. Breaking contact at anytime will cancel this effect and cause the other party to be "ejected" out of the object they are in unharmed. This technique must be used with a discipline for the appropriate material he is merging with.

Phantom Sensory
C-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Through training Taiga has gained the ability when merged with something to feel the things one would feel on their own back or body: points of pressure, force, and temperature through the object. This is like a second-nature for him. An example of usage being feeling vibrations to a point where based on the weight and distribution of pressure, he could differentiate a dog from a human on a surface. Taiga can spread his sense of touch (feel) through a variety of objects or surfaces when merged. The range of this technique is limited to the size of the object or surface he has merged with. Damage to a surface will not cause damage to Taiga as the sensations are not 1:1.

[The Floor is Lava]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After phasing a body part into a material and channeling into it, Taiga will manipulate the source material and hollow out a 9 meter radius pit beneath the surface. The top few centimeters of the pit however will be left untouched however in a very brittle strength, with roughly 1 strength of durability.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Post by Director » Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:58 am

Fanho watched as the vines rippled upwards at blindingly fast speeds. Within the blink of an eye the Bannin had narrowly avoided the vines as he leaped forward clinging to the beasts body with his feet as he sprinted upwards channeling chakra. The large wooden creature being so close could keep spouting off its minions, and causing more problems and havoc with its overwhelming size and strength. The minions could be dealt with by the squad here, but this monster would need to be taken away, far away where Fanho could blast it brazenly enacting scorched earth tactics. "Its time to go for a ride, you better grab a hold of this thing while its in town for now!"

With his fox detained by the vines as they rippled right underneath giving it little time to react, but in that same instance it was soon freed by Taiga who had a similar idea to Fanho. With the fox freed it began channeling chakra as another 9 limbs emerged from behind it, giving it 18 tails to utilize. With a mighty roar of its strength it leapt up bringing all the tails around slapping the beast of the forest in the groin area at once to force it to take a step back. All the cumulative force of the strong tails would certainly throw it back or make the towering beast stumble into the hole Taiga had made if not sending it falling past that. With the fox stumbling and disorienting the beast, it wrapped its normal tails around the leg of the beast as it pushed off the walls of Konoha sending it propelling past giving one final tug on the leg to disorient it, but also to prepare for what would happen next.

With the chakra he was building up earlier Fanho created 7 more clones, making 10 of him total clinging to the wooden beast. As the beast stumbled the clones each slapped the beast chaining a line of teleports each throwing the beast 100 meters away each time, until the beast was 1000 meters away along with everyone touching the beast. While it may had not been a long distance for the beast to cover, it would at least give the village reprieve to evacuate civilians in-time 'til the beast returned. "Now, lets teach you a thing or two about trying to spread the 'good' word at my house." With their new found battle field, two of the Fanho's sprinted off into the far trees as they took up spots meditating to generate more chakra for the young Awai. The remaining 8 prepared for a new string of tactics and attacks for the new battle grounds.

Meanwhile, Gene worked to keep the horde from pressing their advance. Whenever they would swarm in great numbers toward one particular area he and the other Leaf jounin would spring Kunai wire traps armed with explosives to bring them to a grinding halt where the Taijutsu specialists finished them off with close quarters combat. Most of the Leaf Shinobi to include Gene, were able to avoid the vicious hazard of mud threatening to compromise their position by swiftly maneuvering through the many cuts, dips and building structures as fast as their legs would take them. Users of Katon in various districts within the threatened areas combined their power in order to protect their homes, businesses and hangouts; launching a torrent of Fire style ninjutsu up at the massive descending mud wall as it fell, traveling upwards toward it[25 speed] meeting it mid-flight in an inspiring show of resilience [33 strength].

Bakground NPC::
Background NPCs
The final class of NPC. Background NPCs are exactly as their name suggests; background characters. This can be taken two ways, however. They can be characters in histories or lore for characters or clans. Or they can be characters used one off in socials, missions, etcs. Background NPCs are two dimensional, have little depth, and their existence is only relevant due to their connection to the character they are focused on because of. Background NPCs cannot defy the common law of the universe, and are bound by the morality, personality, and functions of the world around them. While background characters could theoretically cause some sort of plot, they are generally uneventful beings that have little importance. The most common examples of background NPCs are family members of characters, teammates from history and so forth. Because background characters have little significance, their stats, jutsu, styles, etc, can be improvised or made up, and they do not have character sheets except for in very rare circumstances.

[x] Great Fireball jutsu
Their ears rung out and while many dared not to look, all of those who'd been evacuated and those who were en route out of the village could hear the thunderous booms and bangs of the battle to protect their home. While many were surprised that someone could think to attack a place so peaceful practically all were confident in the abilities of those deemed konoha Shinobi. Tougher times had fallen on them before and then as with now, the village still remained. Under the warm steady glow of the sun the village Hidden in the leaves goes silent; leaving only the sounds of a distant battle near the gate to be heard yet this is not the most fascinating thing of all, no. Despite the chaos ensuing, if one could note the face of each and every non Shinobi citizen they'd be surprised to know that not a single person had a frown on their face and in fact, most were still happily treading along as though the days events were as no more pressing that a gentle morning wind.

Back at the Gate perimeter's first in village check point Gene is separated from the group of Leaf ninja that had aided in pushing the horde back earlier. After an unknown Konoha squad had successfully put an end to the danger of a falling mud slide word had finally come around that the beast had been whisked away from the village. Upon hearing the news, Gene couldn't help but smile as he felt a sense of pride wash over him. Pride in the village that had raised him. Pride in the Hidden Leaf Shinobi. With the threat of the great forest beast out of the way for now Gene went to work aiding and assisting small groups of Leaf Shinobi getting rid of the horde remnants in the village.

Running up and down streets and back roads Gene began systematically finding and destroying any minion of the strange spirit beast that he could. It had donned on him that this seemed to be the third spirit outbreak in as many months and each seemed to be progressively much stronger than the last. It was something frightening to think about in the midst of engaging strange inhabitor of the spirit realm, on his home turf, in his village...but what if these breaches were somehow deliberate? Was there truly a Shinobi capable of controlling spirits who rivaled even the power of the Genma?

phpBB [video]

The civilians screamed helplessly as the mud structure clung to them as they attempted to drag themselves free, though not a single one of them was strong enough. The shinobi all seemed too busy fighting hordes and the gigantic wooden beast to help them. Though their time would soon be up, the horde now on all fours sprinted towards the civilians (30 speed), a white-haired Yamanaka donning a set of pyjamas would now be stood in their way. They leaped through the air at him, trying to grab his arms and legs and drag him to the ground.

Finally, the Hokage of the village arrived and attempted to make some rousing introduction attempting to pique the interest of the beast. As though it couldn’t even hear him, it’s head nor eyes even turned within his direction, however its attention was taken up by a build up of flames as it took on a shape of a phoenix and soared towards it. Without hesitation, and almost without though as though the beast wasn’t even control of itself, its mouth wrenched open as a bullet of water shot out of its mouth meeting the phoenix mid-air, putting out the flames. Whatever was left of the water would continue towards Takeo though it would have very little power left.

The creatures that were on Taiga flung their arms attempting to grab him, however their arms clutched at nothing as he faded through them and the wood that was engulfing the fox and the door of Konoha. They however continued to push forward against the door, it wouldn’t be standing for much longer. Fanho and his clones were soon upon the beast, clinging to its body attempting to teleport it away. However before it was teleported away, it’s body would break off and attempt to engulf Fanho and his clones, teleporting both them and orbs of wood 100m away leaving the beast where it was.

Though now, it would have large chunks of its body missing, meaning now the beasts frame was weak. What was left of the arm Fanho cut, fell from its body and landed on the ground with a loud thud. Though now, the beast and its wood construct were unopposed. Perhaps this beast was too powerful to be affected by direct physical strikes. The construct and the beast pushed against the door, it waned for a final time as the green gate was ripped from its hinges and flung through the air. The beast screamed out as hordes and hordes ripped through the now open doorway filling the square.

The beast slammed it’s feet on the ground as it stepped through, the ground beneath it began to shake and rumble as roots and shrubbery began to form, the beast almost smiled as though Konohagakure was finally coming back to the forest. It would grab at anyone who got caught within it, whipping them around.

The young red headed genin and Kazu were joined by a new comer a young genin and stood a few inches taller than himself, asking if the pair needed back up, Nobu nodded back in response “Yes, I think everyone needs some back up right now.” He admitted glumly.

He paused for a moment as Kazu asked if Nobu had any orders, Why me? he thought, he was stuck in place wracking his brain, he had no clue what to do in a situation like this he was completely inexperienced. Though he had to think, he had to give some kind of order his hand trembled as his mouth opened “We shoul-“ he stopped as the young man known as Taiga yelled out an order across the entire field, Nobu sighed with relief.

“It seems like you have your orders, what do those eyes of yours see?” he asked, pointing towards the beast as though that wasn’t obvious already. The gate flung through the air landing on the ground with a loud thud and stabbed into the earth.

His eyes widened with shock as hordes and hordes of creatures ran through the gates and wood ripped through the earth, fear almost overwhelmed him, but he knew he had to do something. The village was relying on him and all of the other shinobi to protect them. His brow narrowed and his nostrils flared, launching into action he sprinted forward as fast as he could heading directly for the horde weaving a flurry of hand seals as he did so “Stay back!” He yelled to the two genin behind him as he pushed himself off the ground, flinging his small frame as high as he could throwing a ball made of sankaton into the middle of the hoard, it burst out and erupted across the wooden creatures, they made no noise as though they were in pain but they began to melt and crumble away. However, it certainly wasn’t large enough to make even a real dent and the front of the horde still progressed, one leaped towards Nobu and wrapped it’s arms around him and his throat, slamming him to the ground and choking him.

The young genin gasped for air as he kicked away and grasped at it’s fingers, but he simply wasn’t strong enough to break free.

Corroding Mist – 33 Control
B-Ranked Sankaton Ninjutsu
While not a true mist jutsu, this jutsu has a lot of similarities. After doing the needed hand seals, the ninja shoots out a ball of Sankaton chakra (3 meters in diameter). If this ball hits anything, it bursts out, creating a slight 'mist' of the Sankaton chakra. While this doesn't truly hinder vision, except for distances over 30 meters inside of it, which appear to be a fuzzy red color, it does cause great damage to any metal objects in the mist, which will immediately start rusting over. This covers a total area of 40 meters, and lasts for 3 posts. It can also cause first degree burns to those in it for 1 post, and second degree burns for those who spend 2+ posts in the mist.

The chaos that blanketed the village gates and the surrounding area was almost too overwhelming for the young Hyuuga boy that found himself struggling to stay afloat amidst a sea of violence and uncertainty. In truth, his attention had been primarily on the smaller creatures that had flooded into the village preceding the behemoth; of course Kazuhiro was aware of the presence of the imposing figure literally kicking down the door to Konohagakure – but there had been more pressing things on his immediate conscious up until now. Thankfully the arrival of Nobu and, now, the unfamiliar half-masked teen gave the Hyuuga a little bit more breathing room, and given the situation everyone could do with as much leeway as possible.

A shout rang out from somewhere closer to the monstrosity, the call for a Hyuuga caught his attention and drew his focus further. ‘They need intel, and I don’t see anyone else from the clan here.’ Finally, he had a chance to provide some tangible value to the beast repulsion effort. Kazuhiro took a breath; he could see everything around him, but he needed time to properly focus in on the intricate details of the main antagonist of the assault. He nodded once in brief appreciation as Nobu relayed the orders within a more audible range. ”Understood.” His response was concise as always but the confirmation would have value for the sake of clarify in a combat situation, or at least that’s what the genin hoped.

“Give me some cover for a moment.” Kazuhiro spoke with a slight undertone of urgency as Nobu leapt off – his request was aimed at Akujin though his body did not turn to face his fellow genin. Having spoken, the Hyuuga raised his right index and middle finger up towards the area in front of his face. His already activated Byakugan seemed to pulse for a moment as the boy focused his vision on and then inside the towering colossus. The boy’s immediate vicinity became clouded in a haze as he peered deeply into the beast of the forest. There was not much there to see, its structure seemed to be completely composed of wood. Kazuhiro spent a good few seconds scanning the creature before he finally saw it, a heart. It rested within the creature coated with layers of wood and fibrous vines. Despite the towering form of the monster, its heart was not much bigger than the size of the boy’s clenched fist. It was amazing that something so tiny had the capacity to give life to such a huge beast.

“It has a heart!” Kazuhiro called out from his position. “Not misplaced in the body to somewhere unnatural but extremely small for its size! That’s all I can see; the rest of its body is just wood.” He paused. “I repeat, the heart is small and in a regular chest locale!”

Kazuhiro was exposed as he completed his analysis and intelligence feedback. Hopefully he would be safe enough for the time being – he would be too slow to react anyway.

He heard both of the genin's words, Nobu and Kazu, though he didn't know their names he was still a Leaf shinobi just like them and with the Will of Fire as his guide the young man new what to do as the three pythons that he had started drawing were finished just as the small genin leaped forwards Accompanying his leap were a trio of fiver meter long ink snakes. Their body white like the paper of the scroll from which they have been breathed life while their outlines were the dark ink which gave them their shape and details. Yet, the snakes didn't appear to have any great speed as they sprang forth and slithered across the ground (five speed), tracking towards the direction of Nobu.

With the need to support not only Nobu but also buy some time for the Hyuuga clansman to fully utilize his special eyes, Jin's left hand had already instinctively reached into the clay pouch upon the left hip, not even realizing that he'd already unzipped it. Clay wasn't something that he normally liked using around friendly because it was still something that he was trying to get use to utilizing. But the current situation and the growing number of creatures they needed to slow them down and reatreat further into the village. while the Sozo member was proud of his abilities, he also knew his limits as well. Three genin were no match for the sheer number of creatures that he assumed were assaulting the village as a whole based on just their localized situation.

As the three snakes slithered forth to help in support of Nobu the hidden mouth on the palm of the genin's left hand bite into the clay taking a moderate bite as it appeared to start chewing the claw in the closed mouth now while the boy removed the hand from the pouch. "Crap!" As the claw was being molded he witnessed the strange attack from the shinobi on the front line for the three as it burst into an odd mist that seemed to be dissolving the wood like beasts. 'How strong!' Though his silent praise was short lived as the growing numbers were only briefly slowed by the attack as more filled in the destroyed ranks. Opening his hand at this point he leaped forward as three clay bird figurines were 'spit' out by the mouth into the boy's small hand. With the scroll in the right gloved hand he still made a hand seal as he tossed out the birds that were enveloped in a tiny chakra smoke cloud.

Flying from that cloud were three, one meter birds that short forth at decent speed (ten speed), having utilized his full strength for the ink snakes and the clay brids the man felt a little light headed but still gave out the proper orders to his constructs. The snakes would be reaching Nobu at this point, though they were slow they were strong and as the genin was grappled the snakes worked to grapple the same beasts and any others their long bodies could reach or bite onto. Hopefully that would be enough to free the unnamed shinobi. As the snakes went to work the three birds flew up into the air in an arch as they moved online at about ten meters apart from one another passing over Nobu about fifteen meters before diving down intercepting more beast creatures. Three powerful sounding explosions rang out as they hit their target area which was followed by several smaller explosions due to the clustering effect of Jin's special clay.

While the explosions were happening the young genin had tucked away his scroll in its lower back pouch just as he landed to the left of Kazu at this point, hearing him yelling out something about a heart. Jin had been to tunnel visioned in on trying to support Nobu that he really hadn't caught much of it. Landing in a slightly crouch the right hand reached up and grasped hold of the short bladed katana, he needed to conserve some chakra after back-to-back techniques like that and if possible they needed to regroup and potentially fall back. "There's to many of them for just us, I'm afraid..." Standing up from his landing the boy prepared to rush forward to help out the genin that had been grappled by the beasts if his snakes weren't able to do the job, his positioning offering cover for Kazu as well at the moment. His voice expressed a tone of worry after seeing just how many of them their were versus just the three of them....

Three snakes created with 10 control, giving each snake 5 speed and 15 strength.

Explosive Clay: C1 - Bird
D-rank Ninjutsu
The Sozo family member allows their clay hand to "mold" a small bite of clay into the shape of a bird, infusing the creation with their volatile chakra in the process. At the end of the building, the small clay bird will activate with a puff of chakra smoke growing to life-size (not larger that one meter) with the ability to fly. This clay construct gains a speed equal to [Control] and explodes with [Control] strength at the creator's will, lasting up to four posts.

Explosive Clay: C2 - Multi C1 Figurines
C-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Lower rank clay technique
The Sozo family member allows their clay hand to "mold" a moderate bite of clay into the shape of a multiple figurines, infusing the creation with their volatile chakra in the process. At the end of the building, the small clay figurines will activate with a puff of chakra smoke growing to life-size, as described in their individual technique. The amount one can create with this technique is three with the exception being insects with the user is able to create up to five. These clay constructs gain a speed equal to [Control] and explodes with [Control] strength at the creator's will, lasting up to six posts.

Three birds exploded with 10 strength each. Then five pieces from each bird rained down in a 2.5 meter radius of the initial blast exploding a second time for 5 strength.

Clay Clustering Passive

The volatile nature of this clay allows it to be detonated at will when infused with their volatile chakra during the creation of clay constructs. Due to the volatile nature of these naturally explosive creations, the techniques are not upranked like normal explosive techniques are. Upon exploding the clay chain breaks into X number of pieces with X strength, where X is equal to 1/2 the [Control] of the jutsu (rounded up) and these pieces are distributed over an area of Y meters around the initial blast, where Y is equal to 1/4th the [Control] of the jutsu (rounded up) before exploding as secondary explosions.

Flying through the skies, his ink scroll in hand, scribbling away violently at the paper as he witnessed his ink clone doing the same. Suddenly, the clone activated his jutsu and three birds came rushing out towards the real Izaki. Takashi, the ink hawk that was carrying him, took a nose dive and avoided the impact the three would have cause, most likely smashing into the artwork and himself; sending down towards the ground. Izakis gaze shifted, he turned and faced the clone, who was now following him. He began performing a sting of handseals to cast his work into being but as he flew below the level of the clouds, he began to hear a loud ruckus coming from the village.

He began to hover in the skies, and his clone did the same beside him, as he was only on the back of his own black hawk. The two peered down, noticing the giant wooden creature fighting outside of the gates. The wings fluttered and they were both heading for the creature. Izaki could see from the distance that there were numerous shinobi who were already trying to battle the creature. He had no idea hoe much help he would bring, but he had to try his best, and so he would.

As he got closer to the village, he realised that there were people who were stuck in the mud, there were little off springs of the giant creature that was outside the gates. Izaki began painting, and so did the clone. Simultaneously, they cast the jutsus forth, sending them towards the approaching beasts. In total four painted tigers hopped onto the ground and charged for the incoming, wooden things. Their objective was simple, prioritize the people who were in most danger and protect them by fighting off the creatures. Izaki and the clone proceeded with helping the civilians to safety, one be one.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Post by Taiga » Mon Oct 05, 2020 1:12 am

“It has a heart!” a voice cried out as Taiga closed his eyes, thinking of his next act. When he opened them however, Taiga watched as Fanho and his planned failed with flying colors, the beast surprisingly using the enormous utility of it's physiology to "eject" the pieces the young bannin had grabbed and let him and those chunks teleport somewhere else. Before he knew it, the gates had been ripped open and the hordes had been invading the village. A great sorrow created a pit deep within his soul- the pit shortly after filled by a foreign rage that bubbled up to a point of intoxication for the young man, freshly christened a Jounin of the village. He took a step forward looking up at the beast that had disregarded him, thwarted Fanho, and was no sending Konohagakure back to the forests. His hands trembling they reached for the Sarutobi bandana, emblazoned with the crest of the Senju and the forehead protector of his Uncle Senju Shou, one of the many heroes who died.

The rage had finally overflowed it's vessel as chakra that looked more like a light grey smoke rapidly came off of Taiga's body. He fixed the banadna to his head and tightened it, every hair on his body standing up as he looked at the beast with unbridled raged.

As always, you failed. This time you were actually here too... a voice chided from deep within. Taiga grit his teeth. Shut up. While normally I would say this spirit has no where the power of my bretheren and I, I'm stuck inside of yo- Taiga did not warn his beast once more, as suddenly it felt as if it was strangled by invisible chains no longer able to squeeze out a word. The beast delivered a sly smile- one knowing that ultimately, he had won and he would get to play some.

Taiga stepped forward, and in that moment, his size rapidly changed as smoke and chakra formed around him building flesh itself until finally the boy was no longer who he was but the legendary phantom beast of earth itself. Likely at least the size of the spirits leg itself, with a wing span likely just short of the beast's height.

His voice called out, booming across the village.

"You are but a tree- and all the trees belong to me, this earth is my domain." the demonically twisted voice called out. Despite the ethereal tone of it parts of Taiga's own voice were still present, as if overlapped in the undertones of each phrase. The beast would become yet again bigger, doubling its size and also giving him claws, spikes out of his elbows, and bird like claws from his toes. He now stood twice the size of the Earth Genma- a once feared and terrifying beast who had desecrated the village ten times over for a millennia.

His wings gave one mighty flap, the wind blowing down at the mud monsters and more around him as he launched up into the air at full speed and strength right for the beasts center of mass, aiming to knock it back back and prevent it from entering the village; despite the gate being broken. The wind it self circled around his body as he launched forward. The wings giving even more force behind the famed Soaring Swallow technique of his Sarutobi ancestors.

Son of the Senju. Son of the Sarutobi. Son of Konohagakure. A lineage steeped in the glory of heroes past... yet a boy who had otherwise been nothing more than a "loser", ignored by his peers and those around him. He had fought for so long to gain power without him. To prove himself to the village not as the Jinchuuriki of Sukairaa, but as a fantastic shinobi.

But none of that mattered now.

To fight a beast, you must become one.

Required: [Heavenly Body Control]
The Flying Swallow Style developed by the Sarutobi family is a NinTai style. To circumvent the need for ninjutsu in Konoha no Senken, practitioners instead use their own explosive movements to bend the wind around their body and create a powerful tailwind behind them. While they move, this tail wind violently circulates around their body, building up pressure. Each post the the user is consecutively moving forward at a minimum of [Speed]/2, the wind gains [Speed]/2 strength. It can be used as a shield to protect the user, or through the use of another technique can be released. The maximum amount of times the technique can gain speed is 2 times. If the user stops moving or drops below [Speed/2] for more than a post the wind dissipates.

Konoha no Senken • The True Flying Swallow
A-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
The wings provided to Taiga in his later Genma forms have become extensions of his own body, and allow him to take flight. Taiga is easily capable of moving them as if they had always been there, using them to gain altitude and glide upon the winds like a bird would.

*[Ninjutsu • Advanced Transformation Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, after performing the correct hand seals and holding the final one temporarily, the user will coat and mold chakra around their body into the shape and form of something or someone which is no more than twice their size. This technique's true advantage is that the disguise is given physical substance. This means, for example, if they transform into something with claws, they will have claws that can physically be used. For the disguises 5 post duration, if it is damaged by a hit of more than [Control] Strength, the disguise "poofs" from existence. This includes collateral damage caused by striking an opponent that may occur to the disguise.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Fanho channeled through his voice fuuinjutsu as he called out to everyone fighting the beast. "Sending a barrage of shrapnel right for them thicc thighs, better duck!" As Fanho's clones all were teleported a hundred meters away this gave him the perfect opportunity to send a blind attack from behind the monster. All of Fanho's clones channeled chakra as each of the clones channeled creating nine tendrils on each of them as they spiked out breaking the barrier before grabbing each piece holding one in each tendril before slinging the wave of shrapnel (50 speed and 50 strength) towards the thighs of the beast aiming to shred them.

After sending the wood shrapnel flying at the beasts legs to disable them each of the clones grabbed on a surrounding tree wrapping the tendrils as they each launched themselves forward into the village. The clones soaring past the beast on its left hand side where its arm had fallen off soaring into the village as the tendrils began slicing and dicing with precision tearing up the monsters and protecting the civilians. Four had continued to barrage the beast's minions attempting to come through the open gate, while the other five went to help free civilians from the mud piercing it and help push the civilians to evacuate to the shelter.

The real Fanho leapt to the right trailing slightly behind the clones hoping that the clones and Taiga were enough of a distraction as Fanho came spiraling in with his 9 tails spinning in a blade format slicing through the monsters right bicep attempting to sever it as well each tendril slicing through like a fine blade at tremendous strength and speed (50 strength and 50 speed). "Not today red wood! Although I would like to know what kind of shampoo you use to get your hair so soft!" As Fanho sliced through he landed on the wall to the right of the beast away from its vines. "Any ideas earthy genma boy?"

The hiton fox was largely being ignored by the monster, and as the clones had soared by, Taiga had uppercut its torso, and Fanho had just made a pass attempting to slice its arm off the fox used its 18 tails to pull its self upwards as it came up to about shoulder height with the beast before wrapping its tails around the beasts upper torso and began constricting with a large amount of force (50 Strength) attempting to squish the monster and keep it largely immobile to prevent it from doing anymore damage.

Repeatedly basing on the now hard mud with his stone kunai he freed one civilian after a mother before handing them off to his clones to ferry them through the now damaged gate to a relatively safer place "Go, get them inside they aren't safe in here" his clones nodded in understanding before throwing the civilian over their shoulder and running towards the gate. His pulse thudded hard in his ears mixing with a high pitched ringing from the myriad of explosion he moved to the next civilian his hand shaking as he held on to his kunai "Did I mention it's my day off" he half yelled with a small chuckle as he began pounding against the hardened earth.

This sensation was both terrifying and exciting, the adrenaline coursing through his veins, the tinnitus-like ringing, the shaking, the running, the terror and the excitement, all of these were what being a shinobi was all about. He may not have been saving the day, he may not be up there battling a giant monster among his god-like peers but to this person right in front of them tears and snot streaming down their face and terror in their eyes, he was saving their day and he was determined to do that as long as his body was willing.

The closing footfalls were barely audible over the cacophony filling the young Yamanaka's ears but with his bare feet against the earth he could somewhat feel them, not enough to tell much but enough to know something was coming and it was not his clones. Spinning on his heel he took a quick account of the beasts charging towards him, he could run but that would leave this helpless civilian to whatever fate these wooden demons had in their minds "You fuckers ruined my long weekend you know that!" he screamed as he began forming seals. With the seals completion he inhaled deeply blowing a line of fire onto the ground separating him and his charge from these beasts, in a split second the line erupted into a great wall and thrusting his hands forward Inori sent the wall to cleanse the wooden demons or at least buy him enough time as he turned and continued his attempts to free his new charge.

OOCShow
I’m very sorry for the short post, but due to the current events and I’m very busy in my personal life. I don’t have much time.
The creatures began to come out in their numbers in overwhelming numbers, rushing everyone and everything. The Yamanaka and the young genin successfully pushed them back long enough with their various attacks to give them enough time to break through the hardened mud. Ink and flames erupting everywhere.

The beast itself took a flurry of attacks from both Fanho and Taiga, who’d now transformed into a powerful beast himself. The beasts body began to decay, his legs giving way and his chest ruptured open. A bright glowing light pushed through, almost blinding anyone who looked upon it. The large beast fell backwards through the air landing on the ground with a tremendous thud, with it’s one good arm, it flung its wooden hand over the newly formed wound desperately trying to protect itself.

The creatures all screamed out as though in agony, leaving behind the Konoha shinobi and civilians sprinting at full speed towards Taiga and Fanho trying to protect the beast. It was apparent that the beast was near its end if the onslaught continued.

Nobu gapsed for breath as the creature continued to strangle him, he slammed his fist against it’s wooden arm trying to break it’s grasp. Those gasps for breaths were becoming short and farther in between as he felt both his life and consciousness slipping away. However luckily for him the genin who had found himself amongst their group managed to free him and push back the creatures with his variety of attacks. It was too late for Nobu to continue fighting, even though he his life had saved he laid their motionless but hadn’t sustained any major injuries.

One by one swarms of creatures spawned of the mighty beast fell to the efforts of Konoha's Jounin and Chunin element but Gene still could not be found among them. When the ferocious beast fell, Gene had only just rounded a corner where in front of him, some ninja who Gene had not seen before spat a huge column of flames toward what Gene thought could have been more of the strange tree like creatures that had already posed enough of a problem before. It wasn't long before Gene realized that the fire breathing ninja was protecting someone and likely wouldn't have been able to take on such hefty numbers without trouble. As the man turned to flee with his charge Gene advanced forward as if to meet the other during his stride only to pass him by, launching a barrage of Kunai knives toward what would be a pursuing horde in an effort to slow them down just long enough to by the stranger enough time to create some distance.

The mighty beast had fallen and while it appeared that the battle was drawing closer to an end, Gene was still on edge. "It looks like they managed to pull it off but still...just what on Earth could have brought these abominations here in the first place?" Prepared for a fight and to hold out for as long as he needed to, Gene stood between the Horde and the Yamanaka.

The black hawk took a nose dive; the wind was blowing in the youths face so hard that his had to narrow his eyes to see. With the ground approaching, the youth leaped off the hawk, turning it into a mist of ink that scattered into the wind. He on the other hand, landed into a commando roll; he waved a string of handseals as he made his way into a crouched position beside the white haired man. Filling his lungs up to the brim, he brough his hand up to his mouth and opened it a little; pressing his index finger against his upper lip, and his thumb against his lower lip, he used his hand to improve his aim as his gaze scanned the area for the approaching hostiles. Upon picking the ones he was going to attack, he released the air that he had stored in his lungs, this happened in small bursts and very quickly; but before he did so, he spoke 'Yo mister! What the heck are these things?!' his words might have appeared to be very laid back, but his voice communicated his anxieties via a slight tremble. And finally, before the man could respond, the youth continued with his his actions.

The Clone; he was dashing backwards and forwards, carrying the civilians to a secure location, away from these creatures. This was a densely populated area of the village, so he did have his hands full. It was impossible for him to offer a lending hand, but with the amount of people taking care of the situation now, it seemed he did not have to.

[Event] The Beast of the Forest

Post by Taiga » Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:00 am

From the corner of his eyes he saw Fanho's attack- without even needing to listen to their communication links Taiga instinctively dropped to the earth below him cratering it as his entire body turned to steel, his massive wings opening fully wide- easily twice his body and capable of matching the size of the very titan they caught. By the time the beasts legs would have been splintered to bits, Taiga's wings would successfully shield everything behind him, making sure that the little guys on the ground fighting would not be caught in the crossfire. While shrapnel was fierce, his relatively gigantic size, it's weaker momentum than the initial strike and disadvantage against his metal body would allow him to deflect the pieces as if it was nothing.

His eyes instinctively locked onto the beast who had been covering it's chest now as his body once more turned to wood.

“I repeat, the heart is small and in a regular chest locale!”

The voice of the Hyuuga who had delivered crucial intel to Taiga moments before rang through his head. Taiga's eyes darted to the hand- now covering desperately part of his body. He could hear all the beasts going wildly- he could feel them in the earth racing back towards them. He had to end this here and now. He held out his palm open, walking towards the beast calmly as his hand began to wave around it at extraordinary, god like speeds. (55 strength) The sheer speed of his movements summoned air around his hand. His open palm suddenly groped out into the air as if it squeezed something- grabbing onto the air he had created itself.

His walk turned to a run. His run turned to a lunge as his wings flapped behind him giving him another 'kick' to his step and the young man rocketed forward at the Genma- phasing through its wooden hand as he outstretched his palm to deliver his rasengan to it's heart. The moment of impact the wind that had surrounded his body from his tailwind would launch off adding a slicing effect to his technique and an additional ferocius strike (55 strength).

He would continue straight through the beast and back into the ground.

Though, he had to wonder. Even if they fell the beast, what of all it's spawn?

Konoha no Senken • Taiga no Rasengan
A-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Required: [Heavenly Body Control]
After seeing Fanho use the legendary Rasengan, Taiga combined what he saw with his training in heavenly taijutsu from Sunagakure's monk bannin to create his own unique taijutsu-based version. By holding out one palm, Taiga will rotate his other hand around the open palm at super-human level speeds. This will cause a small tornado to form in the palm of his hand. Continuing on a little while longer will cause the tornado to stabilize into a spinning, spherical disc of air in his palm, roughly 1 foot in diameter. When slammed into a target, this spherical disc of air releases it's force outward from his palm at a strength equal to Taiga's [Speed]. The end effect is a jarring hit to the opponent which not only causes intense physical damage, but if more powerful than the opponent, will send them spiraling through the air for 5 meters for every point of strength difference. If a post passes with Taiga not continuing to spin the sphere, it will fade.

Additional Effect: If Taiga has a fully charged Tailwind he can release that energy along with the sphere, adding to it's strength and also allowing it to release slicing winds into the opponent, leaving a myriad of shallow bruises and cuts all over an opponent. While these cuts are weak, the sheer number of them can lead to a decent loss of blood if untreated.

Naoyukino was part of reserves left in the village for whatever might happen but he certainly wasn't expecting a mass recall from Soul due to an attack from a giant monstrous beast, a beast the likes he had never seen before, causing mass havoc on the village with its overwhelming size and power.
In fact it seemed like for awhile the Yamanaka was put in a daze over all the alarming happenings despite the rest of his house having already been on the move with great haste.
"Nao, get ahold of yourself!" an elder cousin called out to the now startled blond after rushing around to help
"Ah... Yes!" the boy replied, shaking his head and suppressing his disbelief over the sheer size of the monster that suddenly appeared, kicking into gear as he bolted out the gardens with all his things and made haste to where there were scream.
"So many people to save... Not sure if I can truly fight but..." he murmured to himself as he leapt from roof to roof until he spotted a bunch of the smaller strange creatures attacking civilians and just about being kept at bay by some genin and a fellow house member whilst the people where being saved from some mud and fire.

Though as Nao arrived it seemed the giant beast took a massive hit and fell to the ground causing the smaller creatures to shriek before turning to defend its master and stop the powerful combatants destroying it, proving just how slow the Yamanaka had been but as they started to shriek a flash of madness came across his mind and handseals began to form on instinct as he came down amog is comrades.
"This is madness" the Yamanaka thought to himself, knowing his idea was crazy "But if that thing is dying then we can't let those get in the way" his rushed thoughts continued as his hands stopped in their final thought

Suddenly a bunch of barriers began to form around the area with a bunch of the smaller creatures as they began to turn around to fight the village's superpowers, though it wasn't clear if it would do much they were intended to at least slow them all down if not fully prevent them from aiding in preventing the destruction of their creator.
"You're not going anywhere!" the late arrival called out to the creatures as he began erecting the barriers around as much of the retreating creatures he could within the area.
"Sorry I'm late" he then awkwardly commented to his fellows.

Once that was done he turned to Nobu who seemed temporarily safe but potentially in danger, hoping nothing would come back to attack them he rushed over to see what was up.
"Are you alright?" he asked frantically as he moved to examine him and the other genin, moving to diagnose the injuries, though still fully aware the creatures could break through the barriers and come back at them.

The creatures hurtled forwards on all fours, their wooden feet and palms thudding against the ground below them hurtling dust through the air all of their attention on Taiga and Fanho, paying no attention to anyone around them as though they were wearing blinkers.

As fast they moved it was simply too late.

The young man known as Sarutobi, Tagia [j]The Genma[/i] of the village, who seemed in perfect sync with the beast within. Launched forward, making mincemeat of the beast’s defence as though his hand wasn’t even there at all. The Genma’s palm connected with the beast’s heart, the Rasengan’s slicing winds cut through the heart. It seemed as though the Hyuuga’s intel had paid off.

A bright white beam of light shot out from the gaps between the beast’s fingers, it would be blinding to anyone who looked upon it. A huge blast soon followed, ripping the beast to shreds sending wood across the entire battlefield and would likely through Taiga through the air. The creatures gave way as they ran, their wood like husks fell to the ground crumbling into small pieces.

The threat was over.

Spirit of The ForestShow
phpBB [video]

The beam of light spread out even further expanding out and taking on the form of a gigantic stag, made of wisps of light. It stood high above Konoha and looked down at the people below it. The spirit’s eyes if they could even be called eyes locked on to Taiga and in turn Sukairaa as though they were old friends. The spirit dipped it’s head down, bowing to it’s fellow spirit as though to thank it for freeing it from the control of the wooden beast.

It slowly turned and drifted into the forest of that surrounded Konoha, dissipating into the depths.

The village of Konoha was now safe.

Sarutobi, Taiga would go down in history as a hero.

Fanho dusted his hands as his clones began hurrying everyone off to the designated medical zones, and began tending to the wounded. So far it appeared as if there were no deaths, just a few injuries that we're most definitely treatable.

With a smirk on his face he had one last quip to take a jab at his Jinchuriki friend. "Nice assist Taiga, now where's my parade? It was mighty hard taking that thing down alone."

Naoyukino looked up and sighed with relief when he saw a beam of light spread out and take the form of a stag before disappearing with a sense of gratitude over being rescued from the kaiju's body, seemingly bowing to Taiga in particular as it recognized him as a hero.
With the fight over and peace slowly filling the village once more, the Yamanaka took the opportunity to help as many injured as he could with his newfound skill in Iijuttsu which he finally learned as he promised.
Once he was done the blond would move on to other duties before a well deserved break, despite how late to the scene he was, feeling happy he could at least help people recover

Post by Taiga » Sun Oct 25, 2020 3:13 am

Taiga stood paused as he shrank to half his size- his ninjutsu transformation fading. Finally releasing his breath, hey heaved heavily and finished it off with a sigh of relief. A light-grey smoke began to rapidly flow off of his body as his tattered wings disappeared and the Genma body around him dematerialized into more smoke. Moments later the smoke would be gone, and in the center of the wood corpse of the monster that had been attacking the village would be Taiga- his arm still outstretched from his rasengan, his clothes tattered a bit, but the boy otherwise well for his wear.

His head turned sharply to look behind him as he felt the vibration on the ground- his domain, the Earth told him that a herd was coming for him. He could feel it as-well as he could feel his arm. Drawing a kunai he spun round to greet his guests, only to watch them give way as they ran, the creatures crumbling to pieces before they could even reach him. Spinning the kunai in his hands and placing them back in his holsters he let out a sigh of relief.

Light over took the whole village for a moment as a stag appeared, bowed, and as quickly as it had come into existence had disappeared from view. If it had not been for Sukairaa and the Hyuuga they would not have finished this battle so easily- though, in many ways they had been extremely lucky that the Hyuuga could give them intel and that he could act on it. He could only guess that other villages might not be as lucky.

I'm not the only hero, Su." Taiga chuckled to himself. The genma was shyly quiet at his remark. Suddenly, the boy's hand hit the back of his head though. Right, it wasn't just Konoha.

"Konoha's threat has been handled. Requesting a sitrep from Kumogakure and Konoha." he said on the channel- both authoritatively and reassuring for being a relatively young man. Takeo- Fanho- the others would recognize his voice was different. Taiga was brimming with confidence.

"Could it be- Kiri and Iwa caused the attacks on our villages?" he asked himself aloud, but not on the comms channel Fanho had linked them all to...

A response came in on the comms channel interrupting him from dwelling further on his thought. It was the voice of Lord Raikage- whom which he had met the day prior in Soul.

"My bannin are no where to be found... And beyond our beast there is at least one S-Rank level individual I am engaging, affiliation unknown... Things look very bad he-" his transmission was cut short and a silence fell on the others.

After hours of intense fighting, it appeared that the military force of Konohagakure had managed to defeat the thread imposed upon it by the wooden beast. Izaki finished using his techniques to support the white haired member of the Yamanaka clan and returned to his usual composed state. The clone who was riding upon the ink hawk descended from the skies and landed a few feet away from the two. With a few turns of the head, he and the hawk both burst into a black mist that was carried away by the wind. The destruction of the main beast had turned the offspring irrelevant, they all collapsed, lifeless.

Few moments later a bright beam appeared upon the sky and a gigantic stag composed of light appeared upon the skies. Izaki did not understand what the origin was, but he watched it with curiosity and noticed the peculiar movement of its head; it appeared the image was offering a bow to someone or something, before turning around and disappearing into abyss. With that Izaki knew that the threat was truly over, he let out a sigh filled with gladness as he turned to the people who remained in the area.

'Whew... I have no idea what the heck that thing was... But I sure am glad that it's all over.'

Inori passed another civilian off to his clone knowing that his duplicates didn't have much longer before they'd return to the earth "Get them as far as you can" his copy nodded as it slung a young lady over it's shoulder before bounding back towards the damaged village gates. As the horde began to turn away in defence of the great beast Inori nodded to the shinobi who showed up to his defence.

Inori's eyes scanned the mud looking for more civilians to free but his attention shot upwards as the giant ephemeral stag bowed to those assembled and the young Yamanaka felt compelled to bow back, as he opened his eyes peering at the floor he found some of his attire lost in the chaos "Oh hey my sandal" wandering over to grab the sandals he continued onwards back towards the village gates "I bet my clothes have soured by now, now I have to go do laundry AGAIN on my day off!" He yelled at himself quietly glad that that would be the biggest inconvenience of the day.
