The last few weeks had been stressful for Yuelsilv. Besides becoming blind by his own study on the Were-Beasts around Konohagakure, he also had been experiencing difficulty with controlling his chakra after the incident. The attack by a feral werebat had damaged his chakra network, and now he was not only blind; but the ninja was also experiencing a dissociation with his own chakra. Simple techniques were do-able, but any delicate control was difficult for him to endure without physical pain in his body.

The White Wind ninja figured he would get back into shape after getting accustomed to being blind. He usually had great perception around him, but not being able to see made it harder than he expected it to be. Yuelsilv tapped his walking cane on the ground, looking for the sidewalk away from the hospital. He wagged it around, bumping it into the curb and cautiously stepped up.

The young man stood tall, even hunched over, with his robes wrapped tightly around his neck. The attack had damaged his body badly, and besides the physical damage he had been afflicted with a mark from the strange source of chakra. Just getting used to being blind, he hoped no one would recognize him. Let alone ask him the source of his affliction.

Werebeast study was mostly covert to ninja in Konoha, and especially civilians.

Feeling eternally stressed out, Yuelsilv hoped his blindness was temporary, and planned to meditate in the woods north of Konoha, near where the werebats were. He figured the still air of the forest would help him focus on developing a way to use his chakra to give him confidence in his now blind way of life.

Yuelsilv walked slowly down the street, wagging the cane still. He was breathing deeply, haunched over. One might not have expected him to be a shinobi, but his yellow-orange eyes seemed to be working hard for being blinded.

Takanobu leapt backward, tucking his legs and curling like a ball so as to complete the flip that served to help him dodge a thrown Kunai dagger. He never saw the blade go into the ground but hearing a hard thwack against an earthen surface was confirmation enough. As he reached the end of his airborne time limit Takanobu kicked his legs out and uncurled from the ball like position just in time to have both feet catch against the ground beneath him. Because of the momentum that he'd managed to generate before from a series of strafes and dashes, the energy released served to send the Genin sliding back a few inches before grinding to a stop. Before him, standing erect some couple meters away, was the Kunai launched by a makeshift contraption for training. If Takanobu had been hoping for some time to stop and rest, there would be none.

Shortly after his landing, another Kunai blitzed his position and forced or rather, compelled a hard reaction from the youth. By now Takanobu seemed to have become an exceptional user of Ochiba's Single finger draw and made short work of obtaining a ninja tool of his own; a Dagger, no larger than a ruler but no smaller than a Kitchen knife, had been removed from Takanobu's ninja pouch and equipped readily within his dominant hand. Meeting the oncoming dagger with force and skill, Takanobu slid his blade along the edge with enough push to alter the weapon's trajectory but still received a small cut wound across his right cheek. Dark crimson liquid oozed from the wound falling down the sides of the Genin's left cheek followed shortly after by an acute stinging sensation. "That was too close," said Takanobu as he bent at the knees raising his weapon.

His training had only just begun...

Surprised the racket he was meandering towards, the blinded shinobi fearlessly carried himself forward. While blind, he still had his supernatural sensory abilities, and wasn't all too much surprised by the familiar clanging of metal. Yuelsilv casually moved himself closer to the noises.

Yuelsilv stood close to the noise, still unable to see. He folded his walking stick up and it hung from his belt. With his robes flowing in the wind, Yuelsilv waved happily in the direction of the ninja who was training. He was still adjusting to the new flow of his chakra system, and Yuelsilv hadn't trained much since his incident. In fact, outside of meditating and molding chakra for his ninjutsu, he was a bit out of practice. Yuelsilv was still fast however, and wove together a few handseals. Chakra began to glow blue around his throat, and quickly rose up to his eyes. They glowed with a green luminescence, his Transfiguration: Echo Face ninjutsu was completed.

Yuelsilv could see. The chakra drain was taxing, however he could see. In his mind, his vision was almost as perfect as it had been before. He could only see so far away, and motion seemed to give a surreal vibratory sight. But the ninjutsu was comparable to seeing. He looked the ninja over, his eyes normally going over the scene. The training ninja was jumping around, dodging and deflecting attacks from a mechanized contraption. Yuelsilv was impressed, he wondered if he could still react as he once did. To maintain his vision, he had to keep up a steady flow of consciousness to controlling the flow of his chakra, to his throat. He wondered deeply, watching the Konoha ninja train.

As Yuelsilv's black nails scratched his snow-white lips, the ninja was contemplating the potential he could employ with using ninjutsu to aid his vision. He considered the dangers of Sound based attacks. While blind and feral in appearance, Yuelsilv was a friendly young man. He hoped the young ninja might offer to train with him.

'Yawnnnnn...' let out the young genin as he wondered through the streets of Konoha. With very little to do on that very day, he decided to find some sort of distraction in the village. But even they were plain and boring. With his hands tucked casually into his pocket, he put one foot in front of the other and traversed the unbelievably boring streets. It was simply people, going about their daily business, and the youth was after some sort of excitement. A thrill that would test his mental and physical boundaries. And if not, he would settle to simply watching something of the sorts. Neither of which he would find in these boring street. Another yawn came out of his sleepy face and he began walking in the direction of the training ground, while kicking a little pebble. 'I wonder if I can get it all the way there... without touching it with my hands...' thought the youth as a little bit of a challenge, and an activity that would temporarily cure his boredom.

'When did the village become so boring...' said he as he finally left the industrial part of the village and embarked on the path that led to the training grounds. Here, the atmosphere was different, calm, empty, free. A place where one could restore his sanity from the stress caused by everyday life. The air was clean. So clean that breathing was a pleasure, something he could indulge himself in, almost to the point of decadence. That would not be the case for him, he understood the dangers of such behavior, and ignored the joys of the clean air, simply venturing on, rolling the fluff in his pockets into little balls.

Faint noises came from the direction of the training grounds. It seemed the day might turn and become something exciting. His step quickened, enough for his feet to kick up dirt with each step. The sounds, however faint they were, grew slightly louder, leading him to a fence, on the other side of which he saw two shinobi, and some sort of projectile contraption. One of them was waving hand signs, something that the youth caught onto instantly. With a gently leap, the youth hopped onto the fence and sat there watching the two as they went about their business, hoping that he was about to witness a sparring match.

After careful analysis of the two, he realized that one of the men, was his kin, Senju Takanobu. Member of his clan, older than he by a few years. The other man, he did not know.
