The kunoichi was out preparing for a journey that lay ahead of her. She had progressed physically and had proven her capability with the sword. She'd even shown considerable skill with a variety of different sword styles allowing her to fuse portions of the various styles together. Now, she intended to travel to Tea Country and learn the technique that even her grandfather couldn't master. She had already gotten permission from the kage's office to take a few weeks off for the trip, so now she was out buying the necessary rations. Ever since the Great War, the trip to Tea Country wasn't nearly as short as it used to be.

"Yeah, three bags of rice. Thanks, oh yeah, one of those too," she said, pointing out something else to add to her purchase. After finishing the transaction, Niku grabbed the bag of goods and headed outside. She had some other things she wanted to purchase so she headed towards another store. She had a feeling someone was watching her, but surrounded by Konoha's citizens, the Will of Fire, Niku felt no worry for her life as she strolled down the street.
