Tenzin had once again found himself in the training grounds below the Anbu Outpost. He was there the night previously training. The man was frustrated with this performance and felt the lacking in his skills. Although he had spent his life dedicated to mastering the art of elemental ninjutsu, he was severely lacking in combat that would aide him and narrow the gap between the great Kage. If the silver haired Hatake House member wanted to earn the rank of Banin, he had to master different aspects of taijutsu and kenjutsu.
The Anbu Captain had done some studying before staying the night in the training grounds. In fact, he had spent most of his night reading a variety of scrolls in order to prepare himself for learning. This studying, resulted in the knowledge needed with the lack of actions. Simply put, he knew what techniques to perform but didn't fully train in it. That is why Tenzin had invited a fellow Anbu Agent to the training grounds. He had wished to practice some of his taijutsu and kenjutsu techniques with Noeru, a shinobi he had gained respect over the time he had known him. This was a great opportunity for him to train and establish himself further in not only Konoha, but the entire world.
Since Tenzin was extremely early, considering he woke up in the training room. He had decided to work on the combo that he wished to learn. After some heavy reading in the library, the young man had decided that he would learn the skitter step combat style and match it with a couple of different kenjutsu styles. The one in particular he wanted to learn was the Iado Style. He had plans to leave the village to learn a couple more different Kenjutsu styles, but at the moment his main focus was on the both Skitter Step and Iado.
With great determination, the silver haired shinobi decided to take his training out on a poor wooden training dummy. The shinobi walked up to the training dummy in a slow manner and when he was close enough to hit the training dummy with his sword, Tenzin closed his eyes. When his turquoise eyes hid behind his eye lids, Tenzin focused on his inner body. While focusing on his breath, he kept it slow and steady. Inhaling with his nose and exhaling with his mouth. With those deep breathes, the Anbu Captain would place his left hand over this hilt. He would grip the scabbard with his left hand and pull it out slightly. The shinobi would pull the scabbard out slightly, preparing him to form an attack if he needed it to be. By holding this stance, he would start on the pinnacle hallmark of the Iado Style. This was the foundation for the rest of the techniques, which would allow him to master future techniques.
After staying there for several minutes, Tenzin had decided to push forward with the next technique. Since he didn't want to practice being within the Open state just yet, the shinobi practiced the technique that would be aided if he was in the open state. With that in mind, Tenzin stretched his body and prepped himself for the next incoming technique. The silver haired shinobi released his grip of his hilt and placed both of his hands in his pockets. Within a single moment, he would swiftly kick his right leg to his right. The fast paced directional kick sent to his side, slammed into the wooden training dummy. This would result in launching it backwards several feet. Once it flew back, the wooden training dummy would lift in the air and fall on the ground. With the successful kick, Tenzin knew that if he had his senses open, the technique would almost be instinctual for him.
The Jounin was somewhat satisfied with the first couple of techniques he had practiced. However, he was far from content. With that in the back of his mind he would sense chakra coming down the stairs before he heard anything else. The shinobi would turn his back to the wooden dummy. He would reach down where he slept and pick up a towel near his scrolls he borrowed from the library. The hand towel would be thrown around the back of his neck and held by both of his hands. With a simple smirk, he would speak out to the Anbu child.
"Welcome back, feels like we haven't been here in a while. How are you doing Noeru?" The jounin said softly. He gave off a kind aura to him, before continuing. "Glad you got my cryptic message, How is everything going? Any issues with your missions?" He would wait a few minutes to converse with the child before asking the question he really was waiting for. "So are you ready to train?"

*[Skitter Step • Snap Kick]
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: A form of Senses Open used.
The practitioner brings their leg up and outward, kicking to the front or to either side. If any version of the Senses Open technique is active, the practitioner is able to instead kick in almost any direction by instinct, even allowing them to turn on their heel and kick behind them.
*[Iaido • Ancestral Focus]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioners abilities to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.
