So this was the Hyuuga compound? Just recently Takeshi of the Hyuuga had been to visit the hospital while she was there training and practicing her medical jutsu. She brought additional bandages for his lacerations in case his further training re-opened the one that she had treated earlier. Unfortunately she wasn’t yet a master of the mystical palm technique so she couldn’t repair the veins, muscle and skin tissue. She was outside of the gates of the compound and was considering her approach. Should she just skip the walls entirely and let herself in? The Hyuuga could all see 360 degrees after all so there wasn’t any doubt that they wouldn’t be aware of her approach. She gazed longingly at the top of the walls and skipping all the formalities. That wouldn’t work. Normal people didn’t just jump the wall. She had to consider the stories of the trespassers in the Hyuuga territory.
She decided to walk along the path of the wall and find the gatehouse instead. It was an impressive gate several
times her own height. She walked over to the massive gates and gripped the massive steel door knocker and knocked several times. Then she waited. And then she waited some more. What was the deal with this place? Were they testing her patience? She reached for the knocker and knocked even louder.

The young Hyuuga, hearing the incessant and loud knocking at the front gate, gripped his ears in an effort to muffle the sound as he went over to open that damn gate for whoever decided they wanted to drive him insane. Kibou was very much not expecting a beautiful young woman to be the source of the noise, much smaller than him in height (though that wasn't exactly a rarity) and with dark hair and eyes. The clan hybrid lifted up an eyebrow curiously, his white eyes gazing into Nakano's. The Byakugan's pale emptiness made it harder to decipher the boy's expression, but his confusion was rather evident.
"Excuse me, but what exactly are you doing here," The half-Hyuuga said, glancing down at the bandages she was carrying. "Ah, are you a medical nin? Who are these for?"

Another specimen of the Hyuuga. It seemed to Nakano that he was as tall as a man, but there was a strange youthfulness that could be read in the face. She had come to be able to tell, There was only so much one could do to preserve the youth of their skin and face, and this young man’s skin looked like a baby’s to her in comparison to the hard faces of the other Hyuuga. He looked confused nonetheless. It was adorable. ”I’m a medical Kunoichi…In training.” She hardly wanted to answer that last part. ”Is Hyuuga Takeshi here? He is from the branch family as I understand...” She looked to see if he reacted to the name of a Branch family member. Most of the family members were branch family members was her understanding - but then maybe she was talking to the one Hyuuga who wasn’t a branch member. The muscle definition was a bit wrong though for a Hyuuga. They tended to be more graceful and elegant in bone structure, but that wasn’t to say that his was not pleasing.
His pale white eyes might have been expressionless but so much about him was. Breathing, blood, skin temperature. She leaned forward to press her chest against the young man. A pleasant smile crossed her face as she glanced down innocently then back up to the young man’s eyes. ”Are you going to let me in then?” It was a game to Nakano. She liked using her womanly assets to get her way with pretty men. This young Hyuuga man wasn’t as pretty as the other men of his family - but then he was much more handsome instead. There was just something about that way his bone structure was. It made her want to touch it, and trace the lines where the muscle met the bones. Her fingers hovered as she considered whether she should or shouldn’t.

This lady was peculiar and Kibou couldn't say he liked the way she was looking at him. It was almost as if he was a juicy piece of meat and she - a raveous wolf. The young Hyuuga was at least relieved she wasn't searching for him, but for his estranged and distant cousin instead. Luckily, he knew exactly where the older boy was and what he was doing, so he wouldn't have to spend more than a few minutes with this creepy, grown adult woman oggling him. "Oh, yeah, Takeshi. He's busy training, I can take you to him? " The boy's voice was a little shakey and unsure. Was he even allowed to let her in? I mean, he probably had to keep an eye on her at least.
When Nakano began to lean against him, Kibou's cheeks flushed a deep crimson and his face grew hot, head spinning. He took a few steps backwards, carefully, and clearly slightly uncomfortable. He opened the gate, already regretting letting the other nin in, and leader her over to the training grounds where he sprayed Takeshi would be able to distract her enough so he could remove himself from the frankly extremely awkward situation. Once they get closer, if Takeshi was there, he would likely notice the clan hybrid sporting a look of concealed pain and even slight panic.

The Hyuuga compound was a beautfully reclusive section of Konoha. It felt as if stepping decades into the past, the architecture, clothing and general atmosphere embodied a deeply traditional culture. The streets were pristine and immeidately the sounds of trickling water through bamboo shoots could be heard. There were numerous small ponds and rock gardens as well as perfectly manicured cherry blossom and bonzai trees.
Noise levels were kept minimal and the sounds of training were typical limited to the thrum of bow strings and the crisp sounds of practicing various Kata in their training gi's. It was rare for visitors to enter the compound but not unheard of. Even the Hyuuga had social lives after all and so long as others adhered to their customs and bylaws then there was no reason for any issues. However, the Hyuuga elders were notorious for banning troublemakers from entering the compound and so it was advised to be on one's best behaviour.
Even after 16 years, Hyuuga Takeshi still felt like an outsider within the compound. He had never lived within the grounds and the elders make sure to remind him of that through various passive aggressive comments. He was permitted to train among them only under supervision of his uncles and it always seemed expected that one day he would end up like his parents and recieve the full ire of the elders. His mother after all, despite being a Bannin was a rebel and outcast of the Hyuuga and his father, despite being the Hokage was not a clan member and had long been resented by the elders for his promiscuous ways, corrupting their young women.
Nonetheless, Takeshi kept his head down, endured the snide comments and the stares and worked diligently in his training sessions. He practiced Jyuuken and traditional archery here three to four times a week, only missing sessions when on mission or due to injury. And of course he trained seperately as well, finding himself able to better prepare for true combat scenario's outside of the rigid rules of the Hyuuga's training sessions.
Within one of the smaller dojo's Takeshi sparred with his uncle Jiro. In his early 40's the man was lean and fit, of similar build and stature as Takeshi himself but his hair was a deep black instead of dark brown and his face was marred by a few small scars here and there. Both uncle and nephew wore white training gi's, moving with precision and grace along the laquered wooden floors. A large sliding door remained open to allow for ventalation and good airflow from outside as the two men clashed. It seemed more akin to a dance than a true fight as they maneuvered through well practiced choreography, though the sweat that dripped from their brows and the intensity of their strikes belied the effort they were putting forth. Training without their forehead protectors it would be immediately apparent that while Takeshi posessed the curse mark of the branch family across his forehead his uncle did not.
When Kibou and Nakano approached the open doors they would be ignored by both men until their Kata was complete. Deactivating their Byakugan in unison and returning to a resting position they bowed slowly before Jiro snapped his attention toward the interlopers. His expression was clearly displeased and he shot Takeshi a stern look. "I told you not to associate with him or get distracted by women" he chastised. Takeshi dipped his head lower, "Forgive me uncle. I only know Kibou in passing and Nakano is the nurse who tended to my wounds" he informed. He remain bowing until his uncle to nodded in acceptance and muttered a few more words of warning before leaving the room. Standing upright once more, Takeshi turned his attention to the others. It had only been a few days since he had been treated by Nakano and about a week since he and his partner had ambushed Kibou in the training grounds. "I presume you're here to check on my wounds?" He surmised as he approached the woman and slid off his gi jacket to reveal the bloodstained bandages beneath. He noted the fearful look of the younger clan halfbreed but couldn't say for certain what he was worried about.

Nakano followed Kibou with a bemused expression. She couldn’t help but look for other opportunities to tease him as he lead her through the serene territory. She did wonder if perhaps Kibou had forgotten the Hyuuga custom thanks to her teasing - but that was just fine with her. This place was certainly filled with eye candy. She had developed something of a ravenous appetite and the pretty men with their graceful features and pleasing muscles in all the right places. By the kami, it was good to be a woman. It was only somewhat disappointing that she wasn’t allowed to touch any of them.
She kept her face professional as they approached the dojo. She watched with interest the pair of men finish their kata together, and learned virtually nothing in the way of technique from the demonstration as she was too busy admiring the bodies of the men. Why did the gods have to make men so perfect? Men were so romantic. Their bodies were works of art - like statues like silent statues that came to life. They were also simple - it was a charming trait really. Easy to tease, and yet full of passion and willpower. She struggled to keep her thoughts from her face, and controlled where she was looking as best she could, knowing that the active Byakugan could see every glance she stole. But, they were so lovely together, and she especially appreciated the hard lines on Takeshi’s Uncle Jiro. It really wasn’t fair that she had already reached her peak now when men just got more beautiful as they aged. Nakano couldn’t help but bite her thumb a little in jealousy at the thought.
As they finished, Nakano gave a respectful bow to Jiro. And then presented the bandages and ointments she had brought.
”A thousand pardons Master Hyuuga. I came only to bring additional bandages and ointment for young Takeshi’s wounds. I pray that you will forgive my intrusion. Young Kibou -” She picked up the name from Takeshi addressing his uncle. ”- was merely being polite in escorting me here to you, I hope that you will not be too harsh on the boys, they really have done nothing wrong.”
Nakano glanced over at Kibou from her bowed stated to judge his reaction to Jiro, Takeshi’s uncle.

Kibou stifled the urge to roll his eyes or make a retort, only bowing respectfully at the words of his own distant relative. He was unsure what was worse - enduring Nakano's deviant behavior or the rude remarks of his own family. After a few seconds of thought, he came to the certain conclusion that he rather they execute him than spend a day more with the dark-haired woman. The half-Hyuuga sighed in relief when the elder man left the room and took a few steps away from the medical nin beside him. He glanced at Takeshi and his eyes displayed an array of emotion, from bitterness towards his estranged relatives to still a hint of fear towards the older kunoichi.
"Polite is a bit of a strong word for it. You were searching for my cousin and I showed you where he was, it was only fair given that you're a medical professional and said he was in need of a check-up." His tone was a little strained, and he still took in the beautiful woman strangely. " Are you alright, Takeshi? What was it that brought you to her in the first place?" The boy inquired, pale eyes scanning his cousin's body for any sign of injury.

Jirou sighed as Nakano pleaded her case. The middle aged man had certainly brought his fair share of women into the compound in his youth. He supposed it was admirable that Takeshi had someome in his life who cared enough to check up on him. "Very well" he allowed, his expression softening slightly as he looked at the woman before turning his attention back to Takeshi "That's enough for today but remember what I told you" he warned. The message was clear, there would be no more half-breeds of the Hyuuga clan. Takeshi was expected to marry a Hyuuga and bring honor back to his family. "I understand" the teenager replied simply, though he hadn't missed the fact that Nakano seemed to be watching Jirou more than him anyway. As always women only viewed Takeshi as a child, even if they were only a few years older than himself.
Takeshi smiled softly as his uncle left the area. It felt foreign to have not one but two seperate people care about his wellbeing. He had many siblings and loving parents of course but it had been years since he had any genuine friends. "Thank you. Both of you" he said simply before carefully removing his gi jacket. The white fabric was tinged pink slightly on the right side. Around his abdomen his bandages were held firmly in place, but had begun to soak through near the right side of his ribs. "Just a training injury. Got a bit careless practicing rotation against some arrows" he explained. "How is your training coming along? Ready for the Chunin exams yet? I hear there should be an international exam coming up soon" he questioned. He had regretted not participating in the last international exam. Instead, he had been promoted based on his achievements in the field. Unorthodox, but that was likely the priveledge of having the Hokage for a father.

Nakano leaned against the door frame, her arms folded beneath her ample bosom, a smirk playing on her lips as she listened to Kibou's response. "Fair enough, Kibou. It seems I owe you my thanks then," she replied, her voice dripping with playful charm. Her gaze lingered on Takeshi, her eyes scanning his body as she took in the sight of his injuries. "Oh, Takeshi, you always manage to find yourself in interesting predicaments. But don't worry, I'm here to patch you up," she said, her tone teasing yet reassuring.
As Jirou exited, Nakano maintained her composure, her gaze meeting his with a mix of confidence and curiosity. She listened attentively as he sighed and granted her request, his expression softening slightly. She knew how to work her charm, even with the sternest of men. "Thank you, Master Hyuuga," she said, giving a respectful nod. However, she couldn't help but notice Jirou's presence lingering in her peripheral vision, his features catching her attention more than Takeshi's. There was a certain allure in his maturity, a fascination that sparked within her. That wasn't to say that Takeshi didn't have anything she liked.
With Jirou's departure, Takeshi's smile brought a warmth to Nakano's face. She moved closer to him, her eyes flickering to the pink-tinted jacket and the bandages that covered his injury. "Careless or not, I'm glad it's nothing too serious. You should be more careful, my dear Takeshi," she replied with a hint of concern. "As for the Chunin exams, well, I'm always ready for a challenge. I've been training diligently, honing my skills to prove myself on the international stage. It's an opportunity I can't afford to miss," she answered confidently, her eyes gleaming with determination. "Why don't I show you?," Her hands came together in a flash of hand seals as she summoned forth the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] from her chakra and pressed her hands against his wounds. Concentration flashed over her features. This technique was still a little bit out of her league - but she had learned to do it all the same. She just needed to take things slow.
Nakano's gaze shifted back to the path Jirou had taken momentarily, her intrigue still lingering. "But enough about me. Your Uncle's influence must have opened many doors for you, Takeshi. It's a privilege to have such connections. Tell me, what other adventures have you been a part of? I'm eager to hear more about your remarkable journey," she inquired, she wanted to be flirt with her words, but the concentration was taking the charm out of her tone and making her sound more like she was out of breath.

Takeshi approached Nakano, removing his gi jacket and setting it aside before taking the liberty of channelling a small amount of Fuuton chakra to his fingertip. The motion was quick and clean as he ran his finger across the bandages, slicing them open with ease. “I appreciate your consideration, Nakano-san. I feel fortunate to be in your care” he responded rather formally. As his uncle left, Takeshi noticed Nakano’s eyes linger on him. There was a brief moment of jealousy, but he knew it was unwarranted. He had more important things to focus on than women, and he was quickly learning that it was simply her nature to be flirtatious with everyone.
The teenage Hyuuga exhaled slowly as Nakano inspected his wounds. She was much shorter than him, only about chest height. “Yeah, I get told that a lot” he said, smirking, speaking much more casually now. “Careful doesn’t exactly run in the family” he considered. As much as his parents worried about him he knew they trained just as recklessly as he did. Truthfully, he enjoyed the rush of danger and pain only motivated him to grow stronger. Takeshi held back his surprise when Nakano admitted she was still a Genin, he knew Kibou was but had assumed the woman was likely a Chunin already. Still, he wouldn’t shame others for their rates of progression. Everyone had their own circumstances.
His eyes widened as she performed a technique he was familiar with. His elder sister Hanako was a skilled medical Chunin, and even both of his parents were proficient with Iijutsu to some degree. “Mystical Palm? That’s an A-rank technique. Impressive! I couldn’t do anything like that as a Genin” he admitted. Officially he was still a Chunin, but within Anbu he had been recently promoted to a Special Jounin and captain of his own squad. The truth was that even as a Genin he had been well ahead of his peers but had always downplayed his skills when in the company of the general shinobi populace. Thinking back, he probably had started to develop A-ranked techniques around the age of 13 or 14 but had only ever practiced them within the Anbu conclave.
Takeshi watched Nakano closely, admiring her concentration as much as her beauty. She seemed like quite a capable kunoichi and he was sure her charm could make for a deadly weapon. Few kunoichi nowadays seemed to truly embody the core values of being a shinobi. Seduction and assassination via poisons or other more subtle means were every bit as valuable as someone who could devastate battlefields, perhaps even more so. He was about to inquire or perhaps even compliment her skill further when she suddenly asked him about Uncle Jirou. The teenager was so taken aback he completely lost his train of thought. “Uncle Jirou?” he considered, the man as a Jounin and a member of the main family of the Hyuuga clan but there were at least a dozen individuals within the clan of higher standing, not even counting the elders. “You don’t know who my parents are, do you?” he realized. But he wouldn’t go out of his way to flaunt being a child of two Bannin. “Sorry, I just assumed you knew” he added, rubbing the back of his head bashfully as he blushed slightly. “My dad is Natsuki Takeo and my mom is the Bannin; Hyuuga Aina” he said simply. “I don’t know about any interesting adventures. I’ve been to Fur country, Star, Aroma, and old Tea country a few times as well as Sunagakure for Kazekage Kiyori’s inauguration” he considered. “But she’s dead now and Tea is occupied by Kiri” he remembered; his voice tainted by bitterness. The Kazekage had been a family friend and had practically been an Aunt to him growing up, and Tea country had been a place of annual family vacations. But since the war Takeshi had only spent his time training and participating in covert missions. The idea of vacations or spending time with family and friends seemed like a luxury of the distant past.
