Taiga will create a baseball sized pinecone in his hand and charge it with energy. When kai'd or upon forceful impact it explodes with [Control] strength sending it's sharp scales everywhere as shrapnel. The shrapnel will continue to grow at a rate of 3cm per post for 3 additional posts. If not used within 6 posts, the pinecone becomes chakra inert.

How strange- Taiga was a Senju and at one point he had sworn he even had a plethora of Mokuton techniques… and yet, whenever he moved his hands nothing happened and his memories seemed like distant dreams, retconned by some strange group of men behind a device who decided the fates of the universe. And yet, today, as he woke up, as if the men had changed their mind on the decision, Taiga suddenly found a piece of wood sprouting from his shoulder.

Vaguely he had a memory of the feeling, but he needed to immerse himself in the profound knowledge of Mokuton techniques in his families home. Taiga tirelessly studied ancient scrolls and manuscripts, absorbing the wisdom of previous masters. He delved deep into the secrets of wood manipulation, honing his understanding of the intricate balance between chakra control and the power of nature.

Taiga, a man named after a biome rich with conifer trees, had an affinity for pine trees and this there was only one obvious way to try his new toy. With his vision clear, Taiga began experimenting with the delicate art of shaping chakra-infused pinecones. He spent countless hours practicing his chakra control, meticulously molding the natural energy within him to fuse with the pinecones. Gradually, he developed the ability to create baseball-sized pinecones in the palm of his hand.

The next phase of his training involved imbuing these pinecones with volatile chakra energy. Taiga poured his determination and focus into each creation, charging them with a controlled explosion waiting to be unleashed. The process was intricate, requiring precise manipulation of chakra flow to prevent premature detonation.

Taiga understood the inherent dangers of his technique and sought to make it even more formidable. He implemented a safeguard to ensure that the Mokuton Boomcone would only explode upon his command or when subjected to a forceful impact. This additional layer of control not only added versatility but also minimized the risk of accidental detonation.

Well, it also wasn’t like he hadn’t done this before. With a smile Taiga held his new creation in his hand, the beautiful Mokuton Boomcone. Creating a stone wall to test the explosive in he tossed it and covered his ears, as it exploded. It worked exactly as he wanted. With a single gesture, he could unleash a flurry of deadly pinecone shrapnel, wreaking havoc upon his adversaries.

Boy had it felt great to be a Senju.

Taiga will create a baseball sized walnut in his hand that has [Control] strength and stores its growth energy. When kai'd, the nut’s latent growth energy will cause it to rapidly expand at [Control] speed, forming a segmented plat armor made of the walnut shell that completely encases the wielder save eyeholes, while allowing them to still move. If not used within 6 posts, the walnut becomes chakra inert.

In his early twenties, Taiga had already earned legendary status as a skilled shinobi. Though accomplished, he yearned for continuous growth and sought to expand his repertoire of techniques. With determination in his heart, he set out to train in the Mokuton Armornut, a unique D-rank Mokuton Ninjutsu with his freshly returned Mokuton abilities.

As always, Taiga consulted the texts of his clan. It wasn’t overly complicated and he had always felt like he had previously learned this, so oddly enough, it wasn’t that big of a challenge. With the basics in mind, he pondered the capabilities of Mokuton. Taiga had always been interested in the resilience of tree nuts, specifically the hard wallnut. Its sturdy shell and natural properties intrigued him, and he envisioned a technique that would combine its protective qualities with the power of Mokuton. With a clear vision in mind, he embarked on crafting the Armornut.

Drawing upon his refined chakra control, Taiga manifested a baseball-sized walnut within the palm of his hand. This walnut possessed a strength proportionate to his precise control over the technique. Every detail was meticulously sculpted, ensuring the nut's potential would be fully realized.

In order to bring his vision to life, Taiga sought to imbue the walnut with a dynamic aspect. By infusing it with his chakra and activating the Kai, he would unleash its true potential. In a burst of energy, the nut would expand at an astonishing speed, transforming into a segmented plat armor made of the walnut shell.

The resulting armor provided comprehensive protection, encasing the wielder entirely, save for eyeholes. Taiga's careful calculations ensured that the armor maintained its integrity while allowing for free movement, striking a perfect balance between defense and mobility.

With his training underway, Taiga dedicated himself to mastering the Mokuton Armornut. He practiced tirelessly, honing his chakra control to execute the technique flawlessly. His focus extended beyond the mere creation of the armor; he sought to perfect its deployment, timing, and integration into his combat style. The deployable armor would be a skill not only to protect him, but it could be a skill useful in protecting others. Giving someone a portable nut and telling them to save it till the last moment had meant a lot.

Scratching his chin, he gave it a go after his twelth revision. The nut expanded and took shape with his kai, having given it some time and waited to let it become stronger. He punched at the armor- it was solid.
mokuton/dummy

Taiga will produce a full-size wooden dummy that looks exactly like him anywhere within 30 meters of himself at [Control] speed. The dummy is inert meaning their is no chakra in it, such that it does not have a strength, grow, or possess mokuton.

Training DummyShow
With utmost concentration, Taiga tapped into his profound understanding of wood manipulation. Harnessing his chakra, he willed the manifestation of a full-sized wooden dummy in his likeness. His control over the technique determined the speed at which the wooden replica materialized, ensuring its creation was swift and seamless. He made sure to get all the details right, even the bulges. Everything had to be in the right place.

Within a blink of an eye, a perfect replica of Taiga stood before him, its wooden form mirroring his every feature. The dummy, devoid of chakra, remained inert, lacking the inherent strength and growth potential associated with Mokuton techniques. However, its resemblance to Taiga was so uncanny that it could easily deceive any onlooker. In truth he never intended it to be perfect or a clone, or anything. He just intended a “him” to exist that could be used for shenanigans.

With the technique's initial creation complete, Taiga turned his attention to honing his skills. He engaged in rigorous practice, testing the limits of his control and precision. Each movement and gesture were mirrored flawlessly by the wooden dummy, allowing Taiga to assess his own form and technique with unparalleled clarity.

Phasing into it he tried to become one and merge with the dummy, moving it. He was able to “let go” when he needed to. It was great. he even found out it made a perfect kawarimi target. He just had to give it a good name. But what to call it? Wood Mirror? Wood Puppet? Wood man? Wood self? He was really unsure of what to call it. It was difficult. Finally, he thought about the only thing he could. He should name it Wooden Dummy.

Wait, would that be inferring he was stupid? A massive frog face worthy of Orius zangdood filled the air. But really it was important. Throughout the day, Taiga engaged in intensive training sessions with the Wooden Dummy technique. He had even thought of another interesting way to use it. They became best friends. At one point, their hands accidentally touch. Taiga blushed, was he falling for an inanimate wooden dummy of himself?

Man, the world was weird. Purging the impure thoughts from his head he exploded the wooden dummy and called it a day. If the dummy was good enough for him to fall in love with it was good enough to fool some people out in the real world. Technique mastered.
mokuton/bramblepatch
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga will stomp his foot on the ground, causing a dense circle of roots to begin growing beneath him at [Control] speed in a 15 meter radius. At the end of the jutsu’s duration or upon being kai’d, the roots push out of the ground at [Control] strength impaling through whatever is in their way and forming a dome with the center 15m tall. Each root is 20cm diameter at their base and gradually tapers to a point at their end. The roots will grow at a rate of 3 meters per post for up to 6 posts before they become chakra inert.

Bramblepatch TrainingShow
There was a unique power in what most considered to be "child's play" jutsu. Often in combat Taiga had found in all his years that simple techniques were often the most effective. Still working on his collection of mokuton techniques Taiga had an epiphany moment when on the toilet one day. Remembering to wash his hands, he’d quickly get to work once hed finished his duties.

With a mischievous glint in his eye, Taiga set out to unleash this D-Rank ninjutsu upon the unsuspecting world. He stomped his foot on the ground, causing the earth to tremble beneath him. Suddenly, with a burst of energy, roots sprouted forth at an impressive speed, creating a chaotic tangle of vegetation in a 15-meter radius. This was cool and he could easily see folks being entangled in the rising roots.

The roots, like enthusiastic tendrils, pushed out of the ground with an almost exaggerated force, impaling whatever dared to stand in their way. Taiga couldn't help but chuckle as he watched his opponents desperately try to evade the onslaught of his plant-based assault. The opponent being the mokuton dummy techniques he had earlier created.

These mischievous roots, oblivious to their surroundings, grew rapidly, each reaching a whopping length of 10 meters. It was as if they were stretching out to touch the sky itself, with a base diameter of 20 centimeters that gradually tapered to a sharp point at their end. Oh, how they pranced and danced, eager to poke, prod, and tease anyone who dared to cross their path. He even realized he could cast this technique carefree a top it- he’d be fine. It’d never injure him.

The kicker though was as mokuton, the roots had a lifespan of their own, growing and thriving for some time before their energy waned, and they became chakra inert. Taiga couldn't help but find the whole situation hilarious—imagining his opponents frantically trying to escape the relentless pursuit of his overgrown, but ultimately temporary, plant minions. But he also realized this would be the true strength of a bramblepatch. TO simply cast it outright would be a waste.

He worked hard to incorporate an activation mechanic. He’d let the roots grow and sow their place beneath the earth. When they were worthy, he’d use them. It was a simple but effective idea that still had an escape hatch for him to strike while the iron was hot if need be. Content with the technique, he’d call it quits.
mokuton/overgrowth

Taiga will place his hand on a wooden construct and channel chakra into it, advancing it’s growth to it's final post. This also means that the jutsu will become inert after the post this is done in, eating up any of it's remaining duration.

OvergrowthShow
Taiga would continue learning Mokuton underneath the tutelage of Shou. Finding solace in a tranquil training ground, Taiga scanned his surroundings for a suitable wooden construct. His keen eyes settled upon a sturdy tree branch, lying amidst the verdant landscape. It seemed to beckon to him, whispering promises of growth and transformation. Uncle Shou had told him about the ability to strengthen existing wood- an extremely underrated technique even among the Senju. Better yet, he had told Taiga about how one could accelerate growth.

Positioning himself next to the branch, Taiga extended his hand towards it. He could feel the latent life force within the wood, waiting to be awakened. Focusing his chakra, he channeled the energy through his fingertips and into the waiting branch. It was a beautiful sensation. He closed his eyes.

A surge of warmth coursed through Taiga's veins as his chakra intertwined with the essence of the wood. He visualized the energy infusing the branch, coaxing it to awaken from its dormant state. Slowly, he felt a subtle shift, a faint stirring of growth. With unwavering determination, Taiga continued to pour his chakra into the wooden construct. He could sense the tiny tendrils of life spreading within, as if the branch was responding to his guidance. The once-slumbering wood began to pulse with newfound vitality.

Minute by minute, Taiga observed as the branch underwent a remarkable transformation. Buds formed along its surface, unfurling into delicate leaves. The wood seemed to stretch and expand, embracing the gift of growth that Taiga had bestowed upon it.

As the training session progressed, Taiga's understanding deepened. He discovered the nuances of chakra control required to influence the growth process, adjusting the flow of energy to guide the branch's development. Through trial and error, he honed his skills, perfecting the art of nurturing the wooden construct.

After trial and error Taiga had managed to get the swing of it down. The once-dormant branch now stood as a testament to his newfound mastery of the Mokuton Growth technique. It had blossomed into a flourishing tree, leaves rustling with vitality and branches reaching towards the sky. IT had gotten much longer, much thicker. A real good ole natural tree enhancement.

With a contented smile, Taiga left the training grounds knowing that he had the ability to make the worlds trees better. Or something like that. It also meant he could use his Mokuton's full potential quick.
mokuton/woodhound
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga creates a large hound the size of a great dane made of wood that "sleeps" until kai'd. Upon being activated, it will run at [Control] speed towards a target and attempt to knock them to the ground and clamp down on them, digging sharp dagger like teeth into them and clamping it's jaw at [Control] strength. If not used within 7 posts, the hound becomes chakra inert. The hound continues to grow each post, gaining 5 meters in size per post.

mokuton woodhound trainingShow
What if you could make a dog made of wood? These were the questions Taiga had. Choosing a secluded forest as his training ground, Taiga ventured into the heart of nature. The whispering leaves and the gentle rustling of branches provided the perfect backdrop for his dastardly attempts to create the perfect puppy pal.

With a flourish of hand signs, Taiga summoned his chakra, and a grand wooden hound began to take shape before his eyes. This majestic creature, resembling a great dane, stood tall and proud, its wooden form emanating an air of anticipation. Taiga gazed upon his creation with a mix of excitement and doubt. The woodhound, was curled in a ball as if it was sleeping. It awaited the command that would awaken its ferocious spirit.

If he had dont it correctly, he would be able to kai it into action. Giving it a go, he kai'd and let it go. With a sudden great speed and force it rushed forward for the dummy, its jaw expanding as it grabbed onto it, bit in, and dragged it to the ground while sinking it's dagger like teeth into the targets flesh... well, a dummy in this case.

The mighty woodhound, infused with Taiga's unyielding determination, sought to assert its dominance. It clamped down with a strength that mirrored Taiga's control, its sharp jaws digging into the unfortunate target with unwavering tenacity. The force of its bite threatened to leave a lasting impression on anyone who dared to challenge its master.

However, time was not on Taiga's side. The woodhound, as formidable as it was, had a limited lifespan. He would need to make it better. As the training session progressed, Taiga honed his command over the woodhound, refining his techniques and adjusting his timing. He embraced the symbiotic connection between himself and his wooden creation, ensuring they moved as one harmonious unit.

Through trial and occasional error, Taiga sought to push the boundaries of his mastery over the Mokuton Woodhound. Mainly, by trying to increase its growth and waiting. He found if he waited long enough it became absolutely massive; and while that didn't mean it was stronger, it certainly made it more imposing and potential more deadly. Eventually, Taiga had exhausted all he could on the simple jutsu. It must of been good enough. Calling it quits, he would stick with his puppy pal.

And now I am short four words, so yeah, there.

mokuton/repair
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga will focus on a source of wood up to 30 meters away and channel his chakra into it repairing it to [Control] strength and refreshing it's post duration.

trainingShow
Deep in the heart of a dense forest, Taiga stood in a clearing, his eyes fixed on a sturdy tree trunk located approximately 30 meters away. He knew that within that tree lay the key to unlocking the secrets to achieving a jutsu idea he had- one that had to do with "absorption". This was likely a C-Rank technique, but he was sure now he could do it.

With unwavering concentration, Taiga directed his focus towards the tree, his chakra flowing through his body like a gentle stream. Drawing upon his profound understanding of wood manipulation, he reached out with his mind and connected with the essence of the tree, sensing the dormant energy within. As he channeled his chakra into the tree a subtle transformation began to occur. The wood's structure started to change, adapting to the infusion of Taiga's chakra. He could sense the wood becoming receptive, as if it was awakening to the presence of his energy; turned on, if you would.

His plan was that each time the wood would be exposed to the chakra, it would skip a post forward on its passive. With this intention firmly in his mind, he directed his chakra to imprint this modification upon the wood's essence. It was a delicate process, requiring precise control and a deep understanding of the interaction between chakra and wood. More over, he was pretty sure this was key to unlocking a powerful defensive technique.

As he continued to channel his chakra into the tree, the effects of his absorption technique became more apparent. The wood responded, its passive structure adapting to Taiga's intentions. It skipped posts forward, as if fast-forwarding through its natural progression. The next step was to try and put it into his own jutsu; something more defensive, and something faster. If he could do this, he would create a very powerful shield. And so he tried.

With each repetition, Taiga's confidence grew. Again, and again, and again, he did his jutsu until his hands became sore from sealing. Finally, facing his jutsu, he flung more jutsu at it and watched as despite being injured, the wall seemed to bolster itself quickly. He realized rather than absorption, what he had achieved was the ability to fix the wall and cause it to keep growing again, to repair itself. It was exceptional. Satisfied with his progress, Taiga took a step back. This would be a technique that could protect those around him and truly help in the heat of battle. With a nod, he'd clean up the field then head home since he was a good boy.
mokuton/splinter
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga will focus on a source of wood up to 30 meters away, causing it to explode with [Control] strength into thousands of tiny splinters that penetrate flesh and enter the bloodstream. The splinters will continue to grow for up to 6 posts while within effected targets bodies, causing severe internal organ damage to the pulmonary system. If not dealt with in 7 posts, the effected target will suffer pulmonary organ failure.

splinter trainingShow
At his usual secluded part of the Senju forest, Taiga prepared himself for the task ahead. His gaze fell upon a massive tree, its branches reaching towards the sky. This would serve as his source of wood, a canvas for his training. Nearby he had set up various dummies, sometimes with some ballistic jello around them.

With a calm yet focused mind, Taiga positioned himself in front of the tree, his chakra flowing steadily within him. He extended his hand towards the wooden giant, directing his energy towards it. The chakra surged forth, resonating with the natural essence of the wood. This wasn't too disimilar to how most jutsu started. Taking a deep breath, he activated his chakra like a muscle.

In an instant the peaceful scene erupted into absolute bloody chaos. The tree shuddered as an explosion of raw power emanated from it. Countless tiny splinters were propelled into the air, glinting like stars as they scattered around the clearing.

Taiga's eyes followed the trajectory of the splinters, their potential for harm evident. He understood that their mission was to penetrate flesh, entering the bloodstream with their sharpness. The consequences were dire, as they would grow within the bodies of their victims, wreaking havoc on their internal organs, especially the pulmonary system. Stepping close to the dummy after it was safe he watched the pieces grow time after time, for some minutes before they stopped. Tears and holes and even new damage beneath the gel had formed. It was truly a terrifying technique that made the most of wood... something Taiga had always hoped for.

He would continue to practices this doing it again, and again, and again. Destroying countless dummies as he honed its killing ability. How he got so much ballistic gel the world would never know; especially since most likely ballistic gel did not even exist in the naruto universe but thats besides the point- but good on you for actually reading this and questioning that. ANyways, finished with his testing, he had truly created a powerful jutsu.

He just had to name it. Master Splinter? Woodshards? Shatterpoint? Nah, splinters was a simpler name and better. Make that splinter. There was no point in overcomplicating things for flash- that was something someone like Fanho did. Content with his technique and the name he cleaned up the training ground and then went home where he'd eat an ice cream and have an ice bath, his mind racing on what jutsu he'd cook up next.

Taiga will form a bundle of 8 14-cm diameter roots on his back, each root capable of unraveling up to 30 meters long. When Taiga focuses on the roots (meaning he cannot use any other jutsu) he can move the roots at [Control] strength/speed. After 7 posts, the arms become inert.

400+/400 words for the training
ArmsShow
At his usual trading grounds, Taiga was lost in thought. Takeo had died to a glorified octopus. Fanho had his light whips. There seemed to be a great deal of power in being able to have extra arms to do stuff; and realizing that Taiga had steeled himself to create a jutsu utilizing Mokuton that could match these mavericks. Standing at the center of the training ground, Taiga focused his chakra, feeling the energy coursing through his body. With precise control, he directed his chakra towards his back, visualizing the formation of eight robust roots. With a loud scream not un-akin to the one one would make during an intense bowl movement roots began to sprout from his back, intertwining and coiling together to form a sturdy bundle. So far things had looked good.

With the Mokuton Arms now taking shape, Taiga's training began in earnest. He understood that during this training, he would need to devote his full attention to the roots, unable to utilize any other jutsu. It required complete focus and concentration, with every fiber of his being dedicated to the control and movement of the Mokuton Arms.

Pushing himself he discovered that the strength and speed at which he could manipulate the roots depended on his control over his chakra. With each session, he pushed his limits, gradually increasing the strength and speed at which he commanded the Mokuton Arms. Still, they just didn't have that oomph italian chef hand that you really needed in a jutsu. He needed to think more on the design; perhaps he could gain more bang for his buck on chakra by making sure that when he didnt focus on the arms, they didn't really do all that much. First though, he focused on precision and efficiency, ensuring that every movement he commanded translated seamlessly to the roots. He explored various combat scenarios, utilizing the Mokuton Arms' reach and strength to his advantage.

He never quite found the answer but he did realize the immense versatility of the Mokuton Arms technique. The ability to wield eight powerful roots as extensions of his body gave him an edge in combat, allowing him to strike from a distance and manipulate the battlefield to his advantage when he needed to. It was versatile enough to be of some use in a variety of situations... and would probably be good enough to be of some use. As always he neatly cleaned his training ground and then left.

Deep beneath the village in the cavern he had often retreated to as a young boy, Taiga popped out of the ground. He was excited to train a new jutsu here today and focused his attentions towards a wooden dummy positioned before him. With a surge of chakra, he assimilated and merged with the dummy, allowing his consciousness to intertwine with its wooden form. Their essences became one, and Taiga could feel he connection between his chakra and the wooden vessel.

As the fusion completed, Taiga experienced a profound sensation of unity with the dummy. Every movement he made was mirrored by the wooden construct, as if they were a single entity. This synchronization allowed Taiga to utilize the dummy as an extension of himself, enabling him to move as one with it. He had wanted to practice an idea he had to bait and switch opponents; get them to attack and using his speed, eject from the dummy, leaving the dummy to tank the hit and then grab them in a flurry of roots.

These roots, imbued with the strength and speed of Taiga's control over his chakra, would swiftly entwine and ensnare anything caught within their grasp. They would pull with a force matching what he put into it and more, hopefully growing a bit more before he would spring his trap, and then forcefully bringing the captured objects or individuals back toward the dummy's last location.

The constricting force exerted by the roots intensified with each passing post, inflicting a potent restraint upon anything caught within their reach. The captured targets would find themselves immobilized, unable to escape the vice-like grip of the mokuton technique. All in all, Taiga had to admit it was a damn good idea. His hand scratching chin. Deciding to try it he made a clone and told it to attack him.

Just as planned when the clone swung for him, he ejected off behind the dummy, the clones fist shattering into the dummy as it shot out its roots which twisted and sprung around the clone, pulling it in and crushing it with a poof. Pretty proud of his technique, Taiga clicked his teeth and dismissed all of the branches and roots around until finally he was by himself. Yet another masterfully made Mokuton to add to his malicious masterful repertoire of techniques. He would make a name for himself among the anals of the senju clan. That word was intentionally spelled wrong you dirty minded prude.
mokuton/maple
B-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga will stomp his foot on the ground causing a maple tree to rise out of the ground that bursts, releasing a tsunami of maple syrup flowing that pushes out in a 60 meter radius around the tree at [Control] strength/speed. The maple is extremely sticky and anyone with less strength will find themselves stuck to the ground. The maple lasts for 8 posts.
mapleShow
Taiga loved maple syrup, even though the man in the chair that roleplayed him was from the country south of where the true maple lickers came from. Maple syrup was really sticky too, and that gave him a boat load of ideas.

As Taiga gathered his chakra, he grounded himself firmly and stomped his foot against the earth. A surge of energy coursed through his body, flowing into the ground below. Responding to his command, a majestic maple tree erupted from the ground, its branches stretching towards the sky. He had erected a beautiful, stiff, firm tree.

With a resounding burst, the maple tree unleashed a torrential downpour of thick, viscous maple syrup. Like a cascading tsunami, the syrup surged forth, expanding in a magnificent radius of 60 meters around the tree. Taiga's precise chakra control determined the strength and speed at which the syrup flowed, ensuring its devastating impact.

The potency of the Mokuton Maple became evident as the sticky substance blanketed the area. Its adhesive nature caused it to cling tenaciously to any surface it encountered. Weaker individuals, chiefly the clones he had created, found themselves helplessly ensnared, their movements restricted as they struggled against the syrup's adhesive grip.

The syrup's sticky embrace made it a formidable obstacle to overcome, hindering the mobility of those caught within its grasp. As it bound their limbs and slowed their movements, Taiga capitalized on the advantage provided by the Mokuton Maple, seizing opportunities to strike or gain a tactical advantage.

It was effectively a super adhesive.

Taiga recognized the strategic value of the Mokuton Maple and the opportunities it presented. He trained tirelessly to refine his control over the technique, experimenting with different scenarios to maximize its effectiveness. Through practice and experience, he learned to synchronize his movements with the syrup's flow, gaining a deeper understanding of its behavior and potential. Mainly, given size limitations of trying to keep the technique small enough to have a decent chakra cost performance, he needed to work on the timing and casting of it. He then had to make sure, like all mokuton, the maples adhesive power grew. With all the i's dotted and the t's crossed, he was pretty confident the jutsu was ready enough to come off the line. Happy that he had created yet another powerful and unique Mokuton technique, he cleaned up the area and then headed home, feeling like he wanted to eat some pancakes.

mokuton/cedar
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Taiga will stomp his foot on the ground, causing a massive cedar tree to rise out of the ground at [Control] speed; the tree will bloom releasing it's sticky, sweet smelling pollen into the air in a 160m radius for 9 posts. The pollen is rich with Taiga's chakra and breathing it in causes targets to become drowsy, lowering (-9) their Willpower substantially. Due to the passive of mokuton, every two posts the debuff is increased by 1 point.

Taiga had thought about the gross sugi pollen that gave him hellish hayfever multiple times a year. The pollen was so strong; what if he could make a sugi (cedar) tree that could emulate this effect and then some?

As Taiga grounded himself, he channeled his chakra, drawing upon the forces of nature. With a forceful stomp, he commanded the earth to respond. In an awe-inspiring display of power, a colossal cedar tree erupted from the ground, its towering form stretching towards the heavens.

With breathtaking speed, the cedar tree bloomed, releasing a cloud of sticky, sweet-smelling pollen into the air. The fragrance spread like a gentle breeze, permeating the surroundings in a vast radius of 160 meters. This alluring pollen carried the essence of Taiga's chakra, a potent infusion of nature's energy. It infused him onto the battle field, everywhere. It covered things in his essence.

Anyone unfortunate enough to inhale the pollen would succumb to its soporific effects though- the itchy eyes, the runny nose, and worse, the chakra infused pollen would work its magic as folks became drowsy, their willpoer and mental fortitude weakening. The jutsu had been everything he had planned and more.

The passive nature of the Mokuton technique also ensured that the pollen's influence grew with each passing moment. Continuously diminishing and whittling down the targets resolve and ability to resist. Taiga thought that in another life, he'd probably be a pretty excellent american police officer.

As the training progressed, Taiga's mastery of the Mokuton Cedar technique grew. He delved deep into the secrets of chakra manipulation, strengthening the connection between himself and the cedar tree. This bond allowed him to infuse the pollen with his own chakra, intensifying its effects and ensuring its efficiency in debilitating his opponents.

With every successful execution of the Mokuton Cedar, Taiga's confidence soared. He understood the immense power he possessed, capable of subduing even the most formidable adversaries with the tree's pollen. The tranquil beauty of the cedar and the seductive allure of its chakra-infused essence became a symbol of Taiga's prowess as a shinobi. It was a clever technique to help bolster his Genjutsu capabilities and something he was proud of.

As Taiga emerged from the depths of the forest, his mastery of the Mokuton Cedar was evident in every step. The aura of the cedar's energy enveloped him, resonating with his own chakra. Taiga had thought about the boy he had been, unable to use Mokuton at one point, and the man he was now.

Perhaps one who had created a legendary S-Rank technique.

It is second nature for Taiga to quickly draw his weapons, the only limits being his physical speed. Taiga can even incorporate the momentum from the draw into his attack without sacrificing accuracy, giving him a slight edge. While seemingly insignificant, this is often the difference in who shoots first. Secondary to this learned skill is also the ability to quickly re-holster or store weapons and draw different weapons.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/bouncing projectile][/color][/b]
D-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Taiga aims a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or some sort of hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles,

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/aerodynamics][/color][/b]
C-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Taiga has learned deeply the aerodynamics of throwing things such that he is un-affected by their properties like size, shape, weight, or density. This allows him to make makeshift weapons from anything, be it rocks, broken tiles, a chopstick, or even a sandal and throw them for maximum damage. This means when using makeshift weapons there is no penalty and they are just as effective as if it was any other typical weapon in his hands.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/hidden wire][/color][/b]
C-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
For this technique, Taiga needs to attach a ninja wire between two projectiles. Upon throwing the projectiles, Taiga is capable of angling and doing so such that the wire between his projectiles becomes extremely hard to see for opponents who do not have an appropriate [Perception] technique. Upon impact, the wire will collide with objects at the same strength of the projectiles. If this impact does not slice through a target, the two projectiles will spiral around the target pulling tight around them like a bolo making it useful to trip or ensnare opponents as a distraction.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/heavy throw][/color][/b]
C-Rank Maneuver
When throwing a projectile, Taiga will loosen widen his shoulders and loosen his arms allowing him to utilize his full wing-span to throw a projectile. The added length acting like a simple level, this increases the strength of his throw (+5 Strength) though at the cost of his physical movement during the throw being slower (-5 Speed) due to needing a larger movement.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/deflecting shot][/color][/b]
B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Taiga will deftly launch a projectile at an oncoming solid mass. If the [Strength] behind his projectile meets or exceeds the Strength of the attack it is clashing against, the attack is deflected away from the practitioner, often destroying the incoming attack in the process too. If the projectile is only slightly weaker than the attack (-5 Strength or less), the attack is still partially deflected, though Taiga must supplement his defense with other techniques or movements to fully avoid the attack.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/spiral][/color][/b]
B-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Taiga has learned to naturally throw his projectiles with a perfect spiral and spin as if it was a second nature. The end effect is his projectiles have optimal flight and penetration, as if they were shot with a bow.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/vanguard shot][/color][/b]
B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
Taiga has learned to split the sea or even carve a path through fireballs by throwing a projectile with a spiral that catches optimum drag on the air. This effectively makes the projectile the first thing impacted by the incoming attack, taking the brunt of it's force and carving a path the size of the projectile through the incoming attack.

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/aim for the feet][/color][/b]
B-Rank Discipline
Taiga has trained himself to throw projectiles for a targets lower center mass to a level of second-nature, projectiles seemingly curving inwards and homing for this area oof a target. Due to the center mass and legs being the slowest reacting parts of a humans body, this greatly increases the chances he will hit the target and makes it prohibitively difficult for targets to side step or dodge, especially without strong body control such as [Acrobatics].

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/crackshot][/color][/b]
A-Rank Discipline Taijutsu
Taiga has trained to be an expert shot unaffected by the projectile he uses, his position, his environment, his own movement, or even his opponents movement. Whether rain, wind, or shine, whether he or his opponents are jumping, rolling, airborne, sliding, or doing other combat movements at full speed, he is capable of hitting his mark and capable of expertly judging the correct trajectory need to hit. This is honed to a point where attacks against his opponents are so accurate and well timed, it his prohibitively difficult to dodge dodge (-9 speed on stat check) without adequate knowledge and skill in [Projectile Weapons].

[b][color=#444][bukijutsu/tatsumaki][/color][/b]
S-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The ultimate bukijutsu technique, Taiga will throw four shuriken in a spread, such that they are each spinning in directions opposite to each other. The sheer force and opposing winds generated by this will cause a a cyclone [Strength] meters in radius around the shuriken to form. The cyclone will pull everything in it's path in at [Strength] with crushing force as it travels for [Strength] x 3 meters before fading. Within the cyclone, it is especially dangerous as those caught will be pelted with dirt, twigs, pebbles or whatever debris the cyclone sucks up. With the strength of the cyclone, small pebbles can become like bullets.

Taiga has extremely honed his senses, including his phantom sensory, to a legendary level. Tiny details such as vibrations on the ground, shifts of air current, smells, or even feint sounds are extremely easy for him to focus and drill down on such that feats like hearing a fly hundreds of meters away or feeling the air pressure shift as someone builds a massive amount of chakra to cast a jutsu is possible.

[Bukijutsu • Improvised Projectiles]
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Taiga has learned deeply the aerodynamics of projectiles to a point where he can improvise or makeshift weapons from anything, be it rocks, broken tiles, a chopstick, or even a sandal. He knows how to throw it for maximum damage and impact. This means when using makeshift weapons there is no penalty and they are just as effective as if it was a real weapon in his hands.

Taiga looked at the dummies, being all wood dummies they were perfect places to sink shrunken into. Clearing his throat he reached into his pocket and took out a pebble. He had been throwing rocks since he was a boy from skipping to just, doing what kids do. But now he was going to throw it such that it was a lethal weapon- like the movie starring the amazing actor Danny Glover, not at all related to Childish Gambino. It was gunna take some time but, it wasn’t that hard. He could tell how a pebble worked and the way it was fired, along with the drag it had on the air. He tossed a few again and again to figure that out. When he was certain of the best way, he took a wide stance and looked at the dummies.

Alright, here we go.

He flicked the pebble with all of his strength- this was the best way to “throw” or “launch” a pebble after all. Like the hammer of a flint lock pistol his finger struck the pebble as it rocketed through the air like a bullet and sailed straight through the wooden dummies head, barreling through it like a pebble of death.

”There we go.” he nodded to himself.

Taiga had clearly deeply understood the aerodynamics of a pebble. But what about something else? What if he was to improvise a weapon from whatever he had on hand like broken tiles, or pieces of beach wood, or the left over wooden chopsticks from his delicious hot ramen cup that he had. Digging through his pockets that is exactly what he did. If he had the chopsticks… after a few minutes of doing it he found his stuff and prepared.

”Just like a Senbon right?”

Laughing he took the first one and looked it up and down. He was pretty sure that it worked similarly to senbon, but its less sharp shape and lighter density made it “float” on the wind a little too well, lack of heft to drive it. With that in mind he started experimenting. The first few throws were weak but eventually he got it down and he got it down damn good.

Looking at the dummy he flung the two chopsticks at it aiming for the neck. The first one landed deep in the dummy, just as a senbon would. The second… well, he threw even harder and it sliced the dumms head off.

Yup, that’ll do it.
[Bukijutsu • Bouncing Projectile]
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Taiga aims a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or some sort of hard surface, causing his projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.

Surrounded by towering trees in the training ground, Taiga had come here today to practice his bukijutsu. It was one of the simplest combat forms most academy children focused on- but for many years he had ignored it after acquiring the basics. As a Sarutobi and a Senju however, he felt a natural need to excel and be better at the shinobi arts, and bukijutsu was something that held his ire. The simplest techniques had come to be his favorite in his older age.

At the secluded training ground, surrounded by towering cliffs and boulders he was determined to master a new technique that focused on bouncing projectiles. The use cases were near endless- bouncing off of other projectiles, bouncing off of walls, bouncing under defenses. Plenty of options.

Clutching a handful of shurikens in his hand, Taiga meticulously analyzed the terrain. He spotted a series of rocky outcrops and decided they would serve as perfect targets for his training. Taking a deep breath, he steadied his stance and visualized the trajectory of his projectiles, then hurled a shuriken towards the nearest rock, aiming at a shallow angle. As the projectile made contact with the rugged surface, it ricocheted off with surprising force, veering towards another target with newfound speed and direction. A grin of satisfaction crossed Taiga's face as he witnessed the technique in action.
The basic mechanics of the technique were simple enough, but mastering his control to bounce it exactly the way he wanted wouldn’t be quite as easy. Taiga spent what felt like hours upon hours as he faced numerous challenges as he experimented with different angles and surfaces. Sometimes the projectiles would veer off course, while other times they failed to gain enough momentum to strike their intended targets.
Undeterred by the setbacks, Taiga persisted in his training. He used the powers of geometry, the powers of being fucking awesome, and kept adjusting his techniques as he went, ,every try giving him a new, deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in manipulating the trajectory of projectiles. After some time he mastered figuring out how to do the angle of deflection, calculating the force and speed needed to make it happen.

Adequately happy with his results he’d do a final test which involved bouncing three projectiles off of each other to strike someone from above and behind, despite them having thought the attack was from the front.

It worked, and well, there he had it.
[Bukijutsu • Discus Projectile]
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Taiga aims a projectile and throws with a high amount of spin, causing a projectile to arc at a specific point and achieve a direction change of up to 90° in its flight. This technique can be used to suddenly redirect an attack or even to attack from an unexpected angle around something such as a wall.
406/400Show
Fresh off the heels of his success in mastering the bouncing projectile technique, and at the same training ground masked in the trees and filled with wonderful targets made of tree or rock, Taiga was determined to learn yet another new technique in Bukijutsu- one he felt was very rudimentary but required to becoming a powerful ninja.

This technique was one that would allow him to curve and change the direction of projectiles, as far as he knew, those who could do it especially well could even change he direction of a projectile as far as 90 degrees in it’s arc. From what he knew about it though it was all dependent on ones ability to create spin in on the object when they threw it. His mind wandered back to his childhood years tossing rocks and balls- putting spin on it, even playing table tennis and how slicing at the ball would cause it to hit and then jump to the side. It was all interesting to him.
In any case here he was, Taiga. Sitting at the training ground with some throwing stars in hand. He aimed at a target and gave the throwing star a big spin as he threw it. To his amazement, the star didn't go straight but curved in the air, hitting the target from an unexpected angle… but not quite anything near 90 degrees. He’d need to work on it more.
He practiced more and more, learning to control the spin to make the throwing stars curve just right. Sometimes they would go around obstacles like a tree, to hit the second tree behind it, Taiga assuming this would be surprising to anyone who thought they were safe behind a shield or wall or something else.
Hundreds of throws later he had evolved his craft and could now change the direction of his attacks in the blink of an eye, catching his opponents off guard. It was a surprisingly smooth transition if he did say so himself. He scratched his head. What to call it?

He was certain everyone in the village would be impressed by his new ninja move. Scratching his chin and feeling proud of his accomplishment, even if tiny, he decided.

“Taiga’s spinning arc shrunken direction surprise flying god attack strike of doom” or something like that. Though, a couple ten or twenty more words or so would of been good for reaching the word count.
[Bukijutsu • Side Step This]
C-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Bukijutsu • Discus Projectile], [Bukijutsu • Bouncing Projectile]
Taiga will throw 8 projectiles at once utilizing various disciplines on trajectory control to create a 20m diameter area where al 8 projectiles simultaneously cut through at different angles at the same timing, then bounce into each other causing the attack to repeat once for a total of 16 strikes.
404/400Show
With rather quick mastery of both arcing and bouncing projectiles, Taiga was excited to put the two techniques together to achieve a maneuver no one would have anything to say about. It came about because there was one great weakness in projectiles as a fighting technique- people dodged them. Sure, you could use explosives or poison gas release or other tricks to make them more useful, but he wanted to find ways to throw shrunken that achieved similar results.

In his head, he needed to put together the bouncing and the arc to pull this off- his line of thinking being that if you could *bounce* the projectile, you’d then be able to *arc* it. And maybe bounce of each other, arc off each other, such that you could attack from multiple angles that call close in and through a target at once.

Gathering his strength and focus, Taiga collected all his shrunken and prepared. With a swift motion, he launched all eight projectiles simultaneously, each following a meticulously calculated trajectory.
As the throwing stars soared through the air, Taiga employed various disciplines of trajectory control, manipulating their paths with precision. Like dancers in a whirlwind, the projectiles cut through the sky, each taking a different angle towards a common focal point, creating a 20-meter diameter zone of impending destruction.
At the precise moment of convergence, all eight projectiles struck the designated area simultaneously as their deadly edges meet in a symphony of chaos. The air crackled with anticipation as the throwing stars collided with one another, their trajectories intersecting in a dazzling display of bukijutsu.
With a resounding clang, the projectiles bounced off each other, ricocheting back towards their origin point with renewed force. Like echoes of a thunderous storm, the attack repeated itself once more, doubling the onslaught to a total of sixteen strikes within the designated zone. A whirling dance of metal death. He would repeat the move 8 more times to lock it into muscle memory before calling it. He’d have no trouble though nailing the targets repeatedly.

This was indeed the way to do it- a way to throw shrunken that created a much more realistic threat for anyone on the other end. Taiga bit his lip.

Anyone who tries to side step this can go and get bent. he though too himself with a slight amount of pride at his handiwork. This move was a keeper.
[Bukijutsu • Demon Cyclone Shuriken]
S-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Bukijutsu • Side Step This], [Heavenly Body Control]
Similar to [Bukijutsu • Side Step This], Taiga will throw 8 projectiles with massive strength and speed. The sheer force and wind spinning around each projectile will cause cyclones to form around each of them in a [Strength]/2 meter radius that pulls things in at [Strength] including debris, stones, twigs, and sticks and slam everything inside into each other like a blender. This can be extremely deadly turning twigs and pebbles into bullets. Worse, if something is caught between two cyclones which pass by each other, the force can rip them in half. The cyclones will bounce off each other and arc in such a way that they cover a 100m area for 2 posts.
409/400Show
War was coming- and inevitably Konohagakure had been dragged into it. Though it was to Taiga’s chagrin, they needed to fight in order to help protect their allies. All in all the strategy was quite sound. Taiga had taken it upon himself however to get a little more powerful- to be a prince on a battle field rather than just a very sneaky individual.

His concept was simple- build upon his technique he invented the other day named “side step this”… but do it with an edge of Heavenly Taijutsu. Essentially, throw the shrunken so hard that they would gather air and become tornadoes. Cyclones. Tatsumaki. It was an interesting idea and one he was sure he could pull off, but to do it, it could wind up being pretty powerful.

Because of this he went to the lake side area behind the Kage monument- the valley of the end. This was a place high ranking shinobi could go to use all of their power- to release devastating moves but be sure there would be no harm. He took a deep breath. Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the training grounds, Taiga centered himself, his resolve unwavering.

The light of dawn bathed down on the lake with a golden glow, Taiga reaffirmed his mastery of the foundational techniques in . With each fluid movement, he evaded imaginary adversaries with grace and precision, his chakra coursing through his veins like a river of power.

With the foundation firmly in place, Taiga raised his hand high in the sky. Four shrunken sparked in the morning light. Down low, another four. With a flick of his wrist, he launched them into the air, each imbued with raw strength and speed. As they soared through the sky, a whirlwind of energy enveloped them, forming cyclones that pulsed with ferocious intensity.

The cyclones fueled by the sheer force and spinning motion of the projectiles, became giant cyclones of destruction, tearing through the atmosphere with relentless power. Debris and objects were drawn into their embrace, colliding with one another in a chaotic symphony of destruction as the cyclones riptided their way about the lake.

He’d repeat this again and again, then work on the arcs and “bouncing” of his projectiles working to get the cyclones to move like his original jutsu. After much trial and tribulation he’d pull it off with a big success. He bit at his lip.

This was a chaotically powerful technique indeed.
[Life in Motion]
S-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Prerequisite(s): [Phantom Sensory], [Phantom Sensory Evolved], [Perception]
Taiga has learned to weave his extremely honed perceptions and phantom sensory together giving him the uncanny ability to be passively cognizant of everything around him, down to the minuscule details making it extremely hard to surpass his [Perception], whether in the ground, in the sky, or even in a void at up [Willpower] x 3 meters around himself. For example he can feel someone moving off the way the air or pressure shifts; a dog from a human based on the pressure and vibrations on the ground; the building of chakra from pressure, or even an incoming fireball based on the increased heat in a certain direction. This sense does not increase pain or cause him to suffer anything as the sensations are not 1:1 and while he is able to guess relative strengths from pressure or force of motion, there is no granularity or true sensory granted. Since this technique is based on movement, pressure, and forces that impact the environment it has one drawback: if there is no movement or environment change, he cannot sense something.
464/400Show
Yet again at the secluded training grounds on the outskirts of town Sarutobi Taiga embarked on a rigorous training regimen to increase his sensory abilities. After his fight for the title of Hokage, he had learned a great bit about where his weaknesses were even if he did manage to pull ahead in the fight. He was certain in a no-holds-bar match someone like Fanho would be prohibitively hard to fight. As such, he came up with the idea to increase his sensory abilities, by taking both is advanced perception, and his phantom sensory, and merging the two to essentially give him a complete “view” of the world around him in combat.

Taiga understood the importance of honing his perceptions to their utmost potential especially if he could make the battlefield difficult to see or navigate, so he delved deep into the intricate mechanics of Phantom Sensory and Perception, seeking to weave them together seamlessly the first step of which was Taiga's refining his understanding of Phantom Sensory and its evolved form.

Under the leaves of the great trees in the training ground, he closed his eyes and focused on the subtle shifts in the environment around him. He honed his ability to detect minute vibrations, fluctuations in air pressure, and even the faintest traces of chakra. He could feel the trees moving, and such that he could almost paint the vivid image of them moving in his mind.

Next, Taiga delved into the intricacies of perception. He turned up his mental powers to the limits and tried to fill any gap from phantom sensory, his perception, his eyes, his hearing. Every sense was being worked in tandem in addition to phantom sensory to get a hold of things.

Finally, he worked to integrate the two together.

With a focused mind and steady breath, Taiga activated his newfound technique. Instantly, he felt a surge of awareness coursing through his veins as if the very fabric of the world had come alive around him. He could sense the faintest stirrings of life, the subtle shifts in the environment, and the ebb and flow of energy.

He focused on everything around him. 5 meters out two squirrels climbed a tree for their nest- a baby squirrel an some acorns were in the nest. Further up the tree was a crow, sitting silently and observing it all. The branches of the tree swayed in the wind- something cracked 30 meters out. It was a genin. A genin training on a tree.

He sharpened his mental image as he pushed more of his senses.

THe genin was a Hyuuga- his fists moved like gentle palm and chakra shot out. Confident of his new ability, Taiga would continue to practice for days, just to be sure he nailed it.

[Bukijutsu • Carving Shot]
A-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Going beyond deflecting just incoming projectiles, Rio has learned to split the sea or even carve a path through fireballs by throwing a projectile such that its drag creates a 25-meter radius pressure pocket behind it. This effectively makes the projectile the first thing impacted by the incoming attack, taking the brunt of it's force whilst simultaneously carving a path through the opponents attack.
408/400Show
Under the canopy of rustling leaves in the village hidden in the leaves, clearly aptly named, Taiga sat adorned in his traditional ninja attire, stood at the heart of the training grounds. A kunai clutched in his hands he was adamant on mastering a new technique. Sweat rolled down his forehead as he yelled,

”Again” and one of the Sarutobi blasted a massive fire ball in his direction. Taiga was ready. His hand drew the Kunai with explosive speed and the slung it, with all the power power he had. The power was beyond what anyone could ever imagine.

As he closed his eyes, Taiga visualized the technique in his mind, dissecting its intricacies and nuances. Unlike conventional deflection methods, Carving Shot required precision and finesse, manipulating the trajectory of his projectiles to create a pressure pocket that would shield him from incoming attacks while simultaneously carving a path through them.

He opened his eyes to watch as the blade created drag the metal shrunken shimmering in the air as it flew. More drag formed until finally a large swatch of wind was behind it. His eyes locked on it as he watched the blade near the fireball. Suddenly the pressure pocket behind it expanded even more, it’s power eminent as the kunai strike the fire and began to carve a path through it.

Taiga pumped his fist. This was it, this was the move he needed. His body kicking into high gear he tailed behind the kunai and through the fireball, like a move in it’s shadow, until at the last moment the kunai emerged through the fire and to the other side. Quickly his hands grasped onto the kunai as he rolled and pointed it at the other Sarutobi’s neck.

A sense of exhilaration washed over Taiga as he realized the potential of the Carving Shot technique. The other Sarutobi nodded.

”If I hadn’t known the move you were doing- that’d of completely caught me off guard to see you attack from out of my own strike.” he said with a chuckle. Taiga would continue the move again and again along with his cousin.

They needed to be ready for war, after all. With any luck the Carving Shot technique would not just be a weapon but also a defense that could protect him and his allies when the time came. He took a deep breath before continuing on training other techniques.
[Bukijutsu • Sentry Stance]
A-Discipline Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Projectile Weapons]
Taiga will loosen his shoulders and change his stance such that his arms are wide out and apart, giving him full swings that utilize his full wingspan. This allows him to utilize his arms with added strength (+10 Strength) as he is able to get more torque and power, however his arms being so wide puts him at a disadvantage in casting jutsu (-5 Control, -5 Willpower) as long as he maintains this stance.
410/400Show
With Carving Shot down, Taiga was now training against one of his Senju cousins. Senju Yourama was a ninja with a very strong fortitude- perhaps unmatched amongst most Jounin in the village. Even if his ninjutsu was lacking or the norm at best, it was his fists that tended to make Yourama such a powerful fighter.

Taiga was aiming to punch out with this man- but he wasn’t nearly as strong. That having been said Taiga felt a surge of determination coursing through his veins. He loosened his shoulders and shifted his stance, adopting a wide-armed position that maximized his wingspan. With his arms spread wide, he could feel the energy pulsating through his muscles, ready to unleash their full potential. His goal was to set aside some of his focus and his ability to control his chakra by instead focusing all his energy on his strength- from a more logical level he was looking to give himself more torque with each swing of his arms.

As he tested his movements, he could sense the added force behind each strike, a testament to the effectiveness of his widened stance.

However, with this newfound strength came a trade-off. The wide-armed stance compromised Taiga his casting. The increased distance between his hands made it challenging to form intricate hand seals, resulting in decreased control over his chakra flow. Additionally, the wide stance disrupted his concentration, affecting his willpower and diminishing his ability to focus on the intricacies of his jutsu. This was all as expected… after all he viewed it as moving his “focus” or “energy” elsewhere, but it would work.

His idea was there was a time and a place for this technique. Drawing his shuriken, he’d ready himself to throw them. With each swing of his arms, he embraced the power coursing through his veins, he’d let rip shrunken with more force than ever before. They’d rip through trees and force Yourama to spend his time deflecting the shots. But, would he really be able to do that much?

Yourama managed to deflect the Shrunken and close the gap on Taiga. The pare began to trade blows, punch after punch, blood, sweat, and tears. Unwavering in determination the two broke a part, gasping. Yourama nodded.

”You’re def punching on my level prepared to before.” he said.

Taiga nodded- that was a good enough goal he supposed and metric to prove this new stance did increase his physical power.
[Bukijutsu • Expert Marksmanship]
A-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Projectile Weapons], [Deft Hands], & [Perception]
Taiga has trained to be an expert shot unaffected by the projectile he uses, his position, his environment, his own movement, or even his opponents movement. Whether rain, wind, or shine, whether he or his opponents are jumping, rolling, airborne, sliding, or doing other combat movements at full speed, he is capable of hitting his mark and capable of expertly judging the correct trajectory need to hit. This is honed to a point where attacks against his opponents are so accurate and well timed, they have difficulty dodging (-9 speed on stat check) without adequate knowledge and skill in [Projectile Weapons] themselves
441/400Show
With his time with his cousins and preparing for war, Taiga had one final thing he wanted to master. He wanted to make sure that he had marksmanship above anyone. Training however on dummies was not the way. Instead, his colleagues would help him by throwing plate as targets, and controlling them on wires to make difficult movements or leads. He had been with devotion training on this kind of thing or a long time, so it wasn’t out of nowhere. Since genin really he’d work on target practice.

He thought about the foundational techniques around hand work, projectiles, and perception he had done in the academy, over two decades ago. They had taught him many precise movements, and he had sought to perfect his aim. He ensured that his hands remained steady and his perception sharp. He remembered all of it and had a great nostalgic feeling.

He’d hit targets sun up till sun down, again and again as the shadows cast across the landscape. He’d rain metal upon the battle field leading his shots, turning his shots around, and more and more. The true key however was that with each shot, Taiga's skill grew, his aim true even amidst the most challenging circumstances. Rain would come. Winds would come. No matter the environment he would train, and keep his aim.

He learned learned to adapt his marksmanship to account for the most complex of evasions and movements. Whether he or his adversaries were leaping, rolling, or soaring through the air, Taiga remained unfazed. With expert calculation, he adjusted his aim on the fly, ensuring that his shots remained true even in the chaos of battle.

It took hundreds of hours but every time he gave it his all Taiga's timing and accuracy became more refined. Finally, ready to use this technique, he set out in a torrential downpour to fight his opponents. With the help of his colleagues making a lot of clones he dug out behind a rock. What proceeded next was a scene out of a war. Jutsu collided with the rock, attackers came one by one, from far and close, but the entire time Taiga carefully handled his shrunken. He bounced them off rocks with perfect aim to take out the opponents. He quick drew to deliver a fast shot. He did whatever it took.

”Let’s go.”

He thought as one by one he whittled down every clone proving he could work on the field- and then, he became one of the ones making clones for others. It was important to get everyone the skills he too was developing. They’d need it in war.
