And so their journey begins.
How long had it been since he had sparred with anyone besides Shikon? Kitsui couldn't remember and he figured that it was probably best that he didn't, his focus was on the fight ahead and the training he could manage to collect before the big day. The chuunin exam was approaching and he knew that he had to get the ball rolling, lest he wanted to miss it again and have to experience his mother yell at him for a full year that he is a failure and needs to get out of the house. The inexperienced hunter strived to one day find his main goal, but for today it was to finally stand up to his bully.
For years the Akimichi and the Inuzuka had been buddy buddies due to the fanboys feeding their pets but this one was special, this one was almost as rude as the young hunter himself. Shikon barked as he watched the boy approach the forested arena, his back was turned against him as he smirked. "We both knew that this day had to come sooner or later. There can only be one top dog in our nearly formed team, and that will not be you Fatboy." Kitsui turned around to face the behemoth, he knew that his words carried venom and they had to, as the smaller boy needed to get through his thick skin.
"Today we finally settle who belongs to the strongest clan, the Inuzuka with their dogs of war or Akimichi with their gluttony." Normally an uplifting character, today the dog carried his fangs as he needed to trick his mind that the Akimichi was truly his enemy, for he knew that he only had this opportunity to showcase that he was a stronger combatant than Asanganrei or else he would forever be living in his shadow, both metaphorically and physically.
Kitsui petted Shikon as he began to growl, he stepped up and analyzed the kid that smelled like a potato chip, his brute size and physical prowess was going to prove to be a difficulty but it was a challenge he was willing to prove else wise nonetheless. Kitsui squared his feet and began to growl as he presented his claws, "Allright, are we going to talk or are we going to do this?" Shikon followed suit and began to bark as Kitsui prepared himself for the combat, seeing as they were two it would be easier to attack first, so the two of them split up and began to circle the Akimichi.
Lock him in and don't give him space to breath and you should be fine!Kitsui threw a smoke bomb toward Asanganrei's feet before he lept back and began to whistle, signaling his dog to get in position for the next round of strikes, first, they needed to see how fast the Akimichi truly was before they dove in for the attack. The boy knew that with enough willpower and strategy then anything could be possible, he just had to believe in himself.

While his sumo and advanced, specialized training regime was perfectly tailor-made for Akimichi, Asaganrei it didn't mean it was effective for shinobi tasks. Theory only takes you so far you had to put it to the test. And this was a stress test that was perfect it would be a blatant spar between Kitsui his victim and himself. A two on one he had to fight dog and man at the same time. It wouldn't be easy but it was time to prove his worth both to himself and his clan. He was confident that if he played it smart and separated the two he could smother them with his superior size and strength.
Upon arriving Kitsui spared no time to begin the verbal sparring wasting no time to insult his size and his clan. Had Asaganrei gone too far and now Kitsui wants his revenge? It didn't matter the fat jokes weren't surprising but the fact that he decided to make this a clan thing made the stakes even higher. If he lost this he could get some backlash and he wasn't quite prepared to know how to deal with that. "I'm glad this day has finally come now I can finally crush you and your dirty mutt skinny boy!" He couldn't let his insults slide he had to return the favor in any way he could his honor and clan pride was on the line no way he could let a boy he could eat for breakfast insult him this way. He couldn't show that the words got to him in any way. He was boiling on the inside and he wanted to absolutely crush his small rival but losing his temper could make him impatient and stupidly charge into a trap that Kitsui had sprung just for him.
"Our gluttony has made our food culture diverse and bountiful so I understand you "dogs of war" are jealous of eating dog food every day." Insulting his Rival's words with visible air quotes and intentionally making his voice sound far squeakier than what it actually was the idea was to infantilize him despite being the same age.

He slapped his legs then raised his foot high into the air before it stomped down crashing his foot heavily into the ground before crouching down with his single fist planted to the ground entering his Taichai sumo stance as Kitsui readied himself to attack.

Waiting patiently on the outside ready to expand or rush in when the time was right. He didn't quite understand what the plan was currently was it a mere distraction for something greater or was it to test to see how he would respond?
Asaganrei choose to take a more patient approach as he was currently at a disadvantage but he could turn the tide if he played it right.

Kitsui was ready for it, he didn't care what the fat boy had said, nor that he had threatened Shikon, instead he was more focused on trying to take him down and finally prove his worth, that he had managed to take down a behemoth, the one and only Asangrei. Kitsui dashed around the smoke and spotted how Ganrei leaped back, frowning, the boy whistled and changed the tactic, he pushed in closer to the Akimichi before he tossed two kunai towards his right leg, hoping that he was smart enough to either block it or move out the way, giving Shikon enough time to reposition. All right, Shikon is stronger than me but I am sure that the big boy has enough endurance and strength to just ignore most of our strikes, meaning...
The Australian Cattledog would growl before he then leaped up and attempted to bite his left thigh, claws in and teeth brandished the dog would attempt to hold him still, while Kitsui would come in with a body slam and a flip that would end up in a kick that hopefully would push him off. I'm faster than him, that's my only advantage over him as of yet, I need to boost up my speed even more.Kitsui knew that his attacks would probably not do too much damage, nor that the big man wouldn't just block most of it, but the combo's elegance was their secret, their dance technique. Shikon would let go once the combo was finished and Ganrei would attempt to move his leg.

I'm going to give you a treat for that later.The dog would combat roll to minimize damage before circling the Akimichi, "Tsk, you are even tougher than you look, I'll give you that." Kitsui had to admit that things didn't go according to plan, but, as long as they were still unharmed and managed to damage him then things were straight, the Inuzuka reached for his pouch and pulled out a flash-tagged kunai and prepared to strike him once again, this time knowing full well that he would probably have to steer clear from his expanding limbs.
There is no way I can take him on without weakening him, his far too strong... If I wither him down then I probably can take him down with a Tsuuga! Kitsui pushed from the front, pump faking the toss as Shikon would attempt to attack him from the back, leaping up and attempting to bite his left trapezius, while the dog boy would attempt to kick his stomach and then deliver a roundhouse kick to his face, hoping to at least stun him before they once again would leap back from the big boy, hoping to weaken him with time in order to finally be able to take him down. Kitsui hoped that if worst came to worst he'd still learn something from this fight, otherwise, he'd lose twice, and that was not going to happen!

The smoke exploded and instantly covered his vision meaning if he stayed he would surely be attacked in a way that would make it impossible for him to keep track of both of them and surely would spell him a swift defeat. Asangarei was too good to be defeated in one move if that ever were to happen he would never forgive himself, and his father, his family nor his extended family would ever allow him to live it down losing that quickly in such a manner would be an absolute disgrace like no other and he would constantly have to prove himself and that was a burden he could never accept.
The plan worked and he managed to expand himself quickly enough to allow him to see however they were truly hounding him giving him no moment to rest. Two kunai were thrown toward his right leg panicking Asaganrei kicked his leg back and expanded his arms to swat away the kunai only managing to narrowly do so with his kunai, the giant arm could also possibly stave off his follow-up attack. However, Shikon was hot on his tail aiming to bite into his leg to distract Ganrei so that Kitsui could perform a follow-up attack.
Ganrei would lift his leg and then rapidly expand his leg and foot by 7 meters to try to catch Shikon's attack before it could get to him. Effectively forcing the good bot to run into his leg before planting his foot but not fast enough however to effectively block the Inuzuka's assault baring into him but missing to cross his arms to try to block the kick causing him to take a few steps backward because of his unbalanced position. Their coordination was spectacular someone with lesser attributes and abilities would surely be overwhelmed. "Tsch... You and that mutt make a good team." Responding with a compliment of his own as the dog circled back which he made note of.
It was going to be a classic pincer attack one leaving him at very small angles. They were clearly faster so a side-to-side strafe wouldn't work he had two options choke the flames that would burn his front or incinerate his back. It was a tough decision he could potentially grab him as he threw the Kunai but he would have to blind himself to not get flashed catching Shikon would make him vulnerable to Kitsui's attack. He now understood why the Inzuka's bond with their dogs was incredibly dangerous it was situations like this that showed him the light.
As he stood in his deep sumo stance his legs were firing for any slight movement ready to explode at any moment so that he could execute his plan. He needed ot be fast if they kept up with this pace he would be too slow to effectively retaliate. Speed kills as they say, if they keep ramping up the pace I won't be able to keep up. Damn... That was when he settled and choose to attack the hound quickly rotating and exploding ducking under before extending and then deflating his arms in order to quickly bring it into a bearhug crushing it with his arms chest and back. Leaning his head way just far enough to prevent his face and neck to not be chewed off. Bad dog bad dog! He didn't want to be dog food today so it chomping at him made him rather nervous.
Having the dog in his clutches was almost impossible it wailed and barked and growled wildly making it difficult to control but he needed to hold it to complete his plan. It was true his over-commitment to strength, size, and power made his chakra and stamina lower sure he didn't use much ninjutsu but prolonged fighting could make him lose. He was learning a lot of himself by the minute.
He hated that he was getting pushed more than he expected he had gotten too comfortable with his strength.

Kitsui grinned as Asangrei pushed his leg back but immediatly grit when his arm expanded, worse was when he expanded his leg, which only allowed Shikon to scratch him before he lept off and repositioned, Kitsui continued with his onsault but switched it up to compensate for his new coordination, pushing off instead of trying to take him down.
What the hell are they feeding this big boy? The hunter slid to a halt then pushed forwards, his slit eyes widened when he spotted that Asangrei turned around and grabbed Shikon, with a quick spin the beast man lept towards the boy and used the dog as a meat shield. A shocking move, but not one to stop the hunter, he was prepared to save his boy but first he had to reposition. Okay, be careful now or you might hit Shikon, use your speed to overwhelm him, Asangrei has grown a lot in a short amount of time and would probably need a second or two, otherwise why use the dog as a shield like that?
Kitsui ducked down to attempt to pull Asengrei closer before jumping, he pulled his shouder with his right arm and would attempt to roll over the massive boy that was either focused on holding the spastic dog or keeping up with Kitsui. Shikon, from second one attempted to bite and scratch the Akimichi, pushing and pulling with all his might to, trying to attack him or at least keep him distracted enough for his master to save him.

Shikon was still learning the ropes when it came to chakra control and Kitsui wasn't one to brag, though the speed boost was something that got both of them thinking that they should to work on that. Kitsui would mad dash around Asangrei in a circle, he threw another smoke bomb, while Shikon would follow suit in the opposite direction. Shikon needs to become better at controlling his jutsu, I can see it falling apart already... Shit... Hopefully he manages to get master the control in time for it to stabalise itself. Kitsui knew that if he just found the right channel to feed the jutsu then it would stabalise and allow his claws and fangs to grow larger.
Even though it appeared like the boy was focused on the target, he still was forever concerned for his companion, Shikon seemed to read on it, he tilted his head towards the smoke angrily, today would be the day they finally showed up. They readied up to attack or defend themselves if Asangrei was counter-attacking, for the duo was always on alert.

What the hell are they feeding this big boy? The hunter slid to a halt then pushed forwards, his slit eyes widened when he spotted that Asangrei turned around and grabbed Shikon, with a quick spin the beast man lept towards the boy and used the dog as a meat shield. A shocking move, but not one to stop the hunter, he was prepared to save his boy but first he had to reposition. Okay, be careful now or you might hit Shikon, use your speed to overwhelm him, Asangrei has grown a lot in a short amount of time and would probably need a second or two, otherwise why use the dog as a shield like that?
