Betterment in Konoha

Post by hobnob » Sun Jan 28, 2024 10:00 am

The ongoing chaos in wind country, the Ikigai has decided to temporarily sent Itoshii to Konoha. Accompanied by Izumi, as always, they were quick to depart for the village Hidden in the Leaves. To quickly cover the distance they took the train, as it was the quickest and one of the safest routes across the continent. The white haired girl was keeping a close eye on the youth who was busy staring out of the window taking in all the surroundings. This was his first time out of the village Hidden in the Sand, and he was eager to see what the world had to offer, especially Konoha. It's been a few weeks since he has met the youth from the Leaf who was on a visit to the Sand, and wondered whether they would get a chance to reunite.

The Ikigai had not told Itoshii, or Izumi how long they were being sent away for. All she was told was to keep an eye out for a messages from back home. They would contain rough updates on the events that had happened during the battles. But she was specifically instructed to keep away from any danger that would put the youth or herself at risk. Instead, she had training in mind. During chaotic times, self-improvement was the best way to spend time. The chance of them being recalled back to the Sand was there, and if it was to happen she wanted the youth to be as more prepared than he was now.

Soon the sand filled horizon became dense with trees of different kinds. Itoshii became even more glued to the window as he started playing a tree naming game. Izumi would point at a tree and Itoshii would name that specified tree. This game went on all the way to Konoha, and when they arrived they promptly left the train with they backpacks. They were travelling light, more luggage would follow in the next few days, right now the important thing was to get the two out of the Wind and somewhere safer. Accommodation would be provided for them, and it was their first stop.

The accommodation was subtle. But the could not ask for more, resuorces in the Sand were pretty scarce right now and paying for a supreme accommodation was definitely not sustainable. A smaller cosier apartment was the better option for them, it was more snug and it still had the family feel. Once they arrived they decided on which bedrooms they would stay in, there was a note left on the table that a guide would be assigned to them, and what time the individual would arrive to the apartment. Now all they had to do was sit and wait. They had just over an hour so Izumi began preparing a meal ahead of the training she was planning on putting Itoshii through, she hoped their guide might shed some insight on different styles of training and may even join in.

Betterment in Konoha

Post by HotelBravo » Sun Jan 28, 2024 11:17 am

The Previous day.

It was time for Nakano to accept another mission. Thus she navigated her way across town and made it to the shinobi academy, which also doubled as the hokage’s mansion and the mission office. She approached the mission desk where she expected to receive her daily orders but paused when she heard some of the conversation occurring.

”Did you hear that two Suna shinobi are being granted Sanctuary in Konoha while the conflict with Iwa is occuring?” One of the chuunin inquired of the other. ”Are you sure they are even shinobi? Shouldn’t they be fighting for their country if they were? They are probably just civilians.” The second chuunin responded to the first. It was a curious turn of events and certainly was not well within the norm. In recent times there was a lot of conflict and confusion as the great nations began to move against on another. Iwagakure was attaching the Sand for some reason and Konoha had declared they would attack Iwagakure as well. It was all chaos and that mean that the lower ranked shinobi like Nakano were carrying out missions that they had never done so before. Hard missions but also diplomatic missions. Nakano approached the desk and received her orders for the day.

Yamanaka Nakano - Your mission will be to accompany a pair of Suna shinobi that have been allowed sanctuary in Konohagakure no Sato. That was what it said on the scroll she had received from the mission office. It honestly made her laugh. It was so obviously a test of her trustworthiness that it was almost embarrassingly obvious. A literal babysitting mission. Well at least if she was lucky perhaps one of them might be up for a few rounds with her. That could be fun.

The Next Day

She prepared for her mission that morning. She went with her go to outfit in this instance - a black turtle neck sweater with long sleeves. It always pleased her how tight the material conformed to her body and she liked showing off her buxom figure. She certainly didn’t have the physique for a kunoichi who tended on the leaner side. Nakano was a trained shinobi however, she just didn’t have the same physical routine. For her, it was more important to have a mastery of her chakra. That and being a woman also meant it had been incredibly difficult for her to put on any real muscle. She wouldn’t have minded the muscle, but her figure came first and she really didn’t need it in the long run.

She applied a sweet smelling perfume and departed her own apartment and made her way to the complex where the accommodations for the guests were. It was a more than familiar path through Konoha as she leapt on the rooftop foot paths made for the shinobi to move about town quickly. She landed at the hotel entrance from a two story drop and paused long enough to brush off any dust and check to make sure that she hadn’t ruined her scent by sweating too much from the exertion. Nope, everything was perfectly fine. She ascended to the accommodations and gave a polite knock on the door, hoping that someone interesting was at least on the other side. The orders hadn’t been very clear on who she was being a guide for - only that they were from Sungakure no Sato and that she was to be the guide. Things tended to be a on a need to know basis in the shinobi world so it wasn’t entirely unusuall. Nakano would just have to smile and do her bets.

A polite knock came from the apartment door. Izumi stopped dicing her vegetables and went to open the door, but Itoshii was much quicker to respond. Mainly due to not having a lot to do. His keen attitude got him to the door in a flash and he opened it, without first checking who was on the other side. To his surprise it was a girl whom he liked the look of, 'Whoah...' he let out in awe as he simply just stood there with his jab dropped. A moment later Izumi came to the door and look at the girl and ruffled up Itoshiis hair. 'Hello, you must be our guide during our stay. My name is Izumi, and this young boy is Itoshii.' Itoshiis brows narrowed and swiftly he pushed Izumis hand away stopping her ruffling his hair. "I'm not a boy! I'm... A man..." The youth exclaimed as his gaze returned back to the girl still stood in the doorway.

Once the meet and greet was done, Itoshii and Izumi stood aside and allowed the girl to enter the apartment now filled with delicious smells of the Ikigai Clans main dish. Izumi would lead them into the kitchen which was pretty big for the overall size of the apartment. It was a combination of the kitchen and the living room, and was filled with the usual cooking apparatus, and a little off to the side there was a table big enough to host six people. This was also out of the ordinary, there was no way this apartment was big enough for six people to live in. Itoshii followed behind their guide, for some reason. Suddenly his facial expression changed to a big smile, what was he looking at?

Izumi went back to preparing the meal and, politely, gestured for the other two to take a seat. "Do you have any plans for us Nakano?" Izumi asked as she chucked some veggies into a cooking pot and then began preparing the beef she just took out of the fridge. Meanwhile she was preparing the dish, Itoshii was sat at the table looking over Nakano. 'Are you a strong Shinobi?' The youth asked curiously.

Who should answer the door but a young man. His jaw dropped. He was shorter than her with messy white hair. A village headband marked him as a member of the Hidden Sand village. He still had soft facial features of a child, but it was clear he was already becoming a young man. Nakano gave the lad a smirk and closed his mouth with a finger. He must be starting puberty, Nakano thought. They are so cute at that age. He wasn’t the first young man to gawk at her and likely he wouldn’t be the last, but she didn’t disapprove of it. In fact she liked when they looked, but most men knew to be discreet. It was a game. She would pretend to ignore them and let them get their fill, and then she’d glance over on accident and catch them staring. Still though, this young man was a little young, and not only was he young. She glanced over to Izumi. He had a guardian. Nakano gave a small bow to Izumi, and then the pair moved aside to allow her to enter their abode.

A foreign scent danced in the air. She followed Izumi and noted that the boy followed behind her with a silly grin. He’s a little perv! Hah. Nakano thought it was charming. She could imagine the man that he would become someday. Boys were cute, but MEN that was where the gold was at. Even if he was of age she had already committed herself to Takeshi, but a little teasing wouldn’t be so bad would it? Nakano took a seat and watched Izumi head back over to the cooking pot. Nakano leaned forward so her chest rested on the table, and turned her head to the side casually as if she wasn’t looking at anything in particular. ”I suppose that depends on what you would like to see in our village. If you want a tour, then sure I have some ideas of the /sights/.” She looked at the corner of her eyes to look at Itoshii.

”You know boys tend to be stronger then girls.” She responded to Itoshii. While true of typical women, it didn’t necessary mean the same for kunoichi who had advanced chakra training and techniques that made them the equal of any man. ”But I’m plenty strong in other ways. Perhaps you want to find out?” Her words oozed with a dangerous undertone. She knew well that sometimes there were young geniuses who were incredibly capable. A spar with such wouldn’t really work out too well for Nakano, but maybe she would show off some of her Yamanaka clan techniques.

The youths gaze did not leave Nakano. Her appeal washed over him like honey over nice warm pancake. Itoshii was infatuated by her, the blind would see that. When she casually rested her bosom on the table his lips, that was just about visible over the height of the table, narrowed into a circular shape. This was the first time he felt this way and his body acted on instinct, the youth was unaware of his actions and how blatant and possibly arrogant they were. Upon her mention of sights and her sideways glance, that circular shape his lips were in changed into a full fleshed, teethy, grin. The boy was loving life in that moment.

Izumi was a guardian. She was equipped with skills that would allow both to survive in adverse conditions, and although the Sand and the Lead were allies, she could not allow any action in the room to go unnoticed. She may have been cooking, but she kept a close watch on the action in the room, through the use of reflexions in the cups, glasses, kitchen utensils, and and by listening to the tone of the conversation. Her lips turned into a smile and her face went a little red. She spent her day and night with Itoshii since he was only a few weeks old, she knew this was the first time the youth felt this way and she was not planning on ending his feelings "I'd like to do some training with Itoshii, and by the looks of things the boy may want to try his luck against you." Izumi said without turning around. She felt that if she did, she would ruin their atmosphere.

Upon hearing that Itoshii nearly jumped out of his seat. Due to his skills, he was already one of the stronger individuals in the Sand, he would never think of ever disrespecting Izumi, she was like an older sister to him and he loved her. Her giving them permission to try each other out was as good as a blessing. "Thank you Izumi!!!" The youth screamed as he lept off the table and landed on her back, wrapping his arms and legs around her in a big hug, ignoring being called a boy again he got what he wanted. Her smile waned as this happened, she was happy that he was happy, but it seemed that her attempt to allow the youth to savour the moment ended, and it might have been a long time before Itoshii had met another like Nakano, if ever.

It had not been long since they left the Sand, she understood that a message would be get to them for another few days, but it troubled her anyway, the Sand was her home after all. The importance of her duty towards the Ikigai, towards Itoshii, was clear to her and she would uphold her duty if it meant her life. However, knowing that he family and friends were back home risking their lives, while she sat on the other end of the continent cooking a prestigious meal, troubled her.

Itoshii got off her back and onto the counter where the was space. "What do you want me to do Izumi?!" The youth screamed with joy. Now that thought he was going to get what he wanted, he was more than happy to help. "Cheeky little..." Izumi thought as a small chuckle escaped her lips. "Why don't you go ahead and prepare the lamb, you know what to do right?" Izumi said as she began clearing up the counter. The veggies were in, and the lamb would be done in the blink of an eye. 'Of course!' Itoshii shouted and bounced onto the floor and dashed to the fridge where he took out three pieces of lamb. Anyone in the house of Ikigai ate like the Ikigai. The youth rapidly relieved the lamb from their air tight wrappings and season them with the basics such as salt and pepper. The youth then performed the most extraordinary action. The boy dashed to his backpack and retrieved a small vial with a cork top. Izumi noticed it and her hand moved to her face, covering her eyes. 'We were told to leave in urgency, with barely any time to back... And he decided to bring the seasoning... This boy...' She thought and proceeded to sit down in the chair Itoshii was sat in previously and her gaze turned to Nakano.

This was her time to find out a little bit about who this girl was. She did not know how long they would be spending together, and she was not about to allow anyone she did not approve of get too close to Itoshii, he was precious to her. Firstly, she gave her a good look over, her piercing gaze scanning over Nakano. Physical appearance gave a lot away, if the target was not prepared for it. Nakanos turtleneck stood out, it was the only thing she could see other than her hands, face and hair, and it was a very eye catching. Izumi, a woman herself understood the game. And it seemed their guide enjoyed playing it. Her figure was astonishing, which gave Izumi mixed feelings. No one ready to go into battle can look that appealing, and it made her wonder what exactly her priorities were. What sort of battles was she preparing for.

With a rough analysis of Nakano, it was time to make conversation. Izumi smiled, "Do you know of any areas that we should stay away from? We can look after ourselves. But causing trouble for anyone in the Leaf is not something we want to do. We would like to remain as invisible as possible." Her voice was stern, but polite. She had to find out whether Nakanos advice would be genuine, whether she cared, whether she could be trusted. She patiently awaited a response, she did not expect Nakano to come up with a response in a blink of an eye.

It was little surprise to Nakano that Izumi was also a shinobi. The boy was a shinobi as well, clearly brandishing his village’s symbol on gear. Izumi suggested she would like to train with Itoshii and that he would like to in turn try to fight against Nakano. ”Oh really?” Nakano gave a faux skeptical look, as if this was something that she wouldn’tt have been able to figure out on her own. As if Itoshii’s boundless energy didn’t already scream that he was the type that was the loud and brash and prone to action. ”I hope you go easy on me, I’m just a beginner.” Nakano chuckled and held out a placating gesture to the fiery young Itoshii. Maybe this would disappoint him, but Nakano had not lied when she had said that her strength lied in other areas.

He was still just a boy though. Nakano feigned a smile as she watched them, having seen people smile in such situations before and mimicked the mannerism and the way they smiled. She had never felt such childish glee and never would be able to, for inside she was broken and such emotions escaped her. The pair began to prepare their dinner, and Itoshii showed off his cooking skills and his attention to detail by displaying he had brought spices with him to season their food. Izumi turned her gaze to Nakano and Nakano met her gaze back. The scrutiny that Izumi examined Nakano was very familiar to her. She had done a similar thing so many times, so she gave a pleasant smile, and could only imagine what the guardian would find when examining her appearance.

After all, Nakano made it no secret that she was something of a succubus. Her weapon was her body, and that didn’t mean to say that she was a taijutsu specialist. No, her specialties lie with seducing men with soft whispers in the dark and slitting their throats while they slept. She was a silken cloth that hid a poisonous viper beneath. It seemed that Izumi had come to whatever conclusion she was going to be making, and Nakano sincerely hoped that Izumi thought that she was dangerous. It was always cute when people thought that, and Nakano did like feeling dangerous. It only reaffirmed the feeling when other people agreed with her own depiction of herself.

”Oh, I know many places you should stay away from. Konohagakure no Sato is a city that has been around and has its fair amount of time to develop a seedier side of town. You don’t need to worry about causing trouble - really, so long as you’re not an active threat to the village, we’re not really interested in harming our ties with Sunagakure no Sato… at least… not at the present time.” It wasn’t even a necessary thing to say, but Nakano said it anyway because she wanted to see Izumi’s reaction to the veiled threat. It had no meaning behind it really, but someone paranoid like Izumi was bound to see the threat underneath and not the underneath the underneath which was that Nakano actually couldn’t care less and was just trolling her.

Shinobi were predictable sometimes. Nakano wanted to see if Izumi was as well.

”Invisible? Don’t be silly, you are guests - Konohgakure no Sato wants nothing more than to make sure that you enjoy your stay and safety of our village. If you really insist, don't worry. I’ll contact the training ground scheduler and find us one that is secluded from prying eyes, and we should be able to have a lot of fun there. Maybe later we could go out to eat together, and I could show you a real treat? Konoha’s famousYakiniku Q, its a very good Barbeque. I hear that their salted beef tongue is to die for. Anyway, I’ll let you both enjoy your dinner here. In the meantime I’ll get the training field ready for us.”

Nakano stood up from her chair and moved over towards the door. ”Have a good Meal Itoshii, I’m going to schedule a training ground. Ta-Ta for now.” Nakano would leave for the time being and head towards the administration in Konoha to schedule the training ground so that none of the other teams tried to impose while they were there. It would only take her about forty-five minutes, most of which was spent traveling to and from the offices.

The boy was so preoccupied with with the lamb he did not hear anything that was said in the room. And by the time the lamb was done Nakano was long gone. Itoshii turned around after placing the three pieces of lamb on a singular plate and saw only Izumi sitting there. 'Wha... Where is Nakano?' He said a little confused. Izumi stood up from the chair and walked over to Itoshii and gave him a hug. "She had to nip out to organise the training area for us. We'll get some food with her later on." She said before releasing the hug and ruffing up his hair a little. She looked at his face as saw sheer disappointment. The child who was so keen and happy, has now turned sad. The youth could not comprehend why she left so suddenly, and Izumi was not happy about how Nakano handled the situation. She, herself could not believe how someone could treat a little boy that way, especially after he was working so hard to prepare a meal for the three of them.

Dwelling on what has happened would not cheer the youth up at all. It was time for the two of them to assemble the plates and arrange everything together. It may not have been the most exciting of activities, but it was something they did together often, and it always delivered pretty good results. They began with the veggies, arranging them around one half of the plate. Carrots, broccoli and stemmed beans made up a quarter of the plate. The other quarter was where the energy veggies were at, the baby potatoes cooked just to the perfect softness. Then finally came the lamb, this was the part that took up the other half of the plate, although it did not completely fill it. Itoshii was little but he ate a lot, more then the average youth, and he was proud of it. He looked at the white parts of the plate, not covered with either lamb or veggies and let out a small sigh of disappointment. "You can't have the whole plate of food! You're about to go and train!" Izumi screamed in a comical way reassuring him filling his belly was not the wisest idea.

Few moments later, they were both sat at the table munching away at the dish. A bright smile spread across Izumis face when she saw the youth gaining some of his usual energy back. With every bite, his usual energy was radiating more and more from him. This tasted like home, and he needed some of that after taking his first L. With his belly reasonably full, Itoshii hopped off the chair, grabbed his plate and dashed over to the sink where he would wash it along with his cutlery. finally he would arrange everything neatly on the drying rack. Izumi soon followed suit, and they both moved over to the sofa where they would sit down and relax for a few minutes.

"She shouldn't be too long, it has already been forty minutes since she left." Izumi said as she ruffled the little mans hair. Itoshii smiled and turned to Izumi, pulling her hand off of his head. "Stop it... I'm not a little boy anymore!" he screamed in frustration. Instead he launched himself at Izumi and began to ruffle her hair instead. "Hey! Now you stop it! I don't wake up like this you know!" She screamed as she playfully tired to stop him from ruffling her hair. It should not be too long until Nakano arrived once again, and they could all set off to do some training.

After fulfilling the administrative work, Nakano was already on her way back to the apartment where Izumi and Itoshii had been staying. It had been a rather boring and mundane process where most of the time was spent simply traveling to the office and scheduling the training grounds. It wasn’t exactly easy to have things reserved for such a short amount of notice but she was forgiven on behalf of the fact that she was escorting guests around Konoha. From there, Nakano immediately headed to the training field that she had reserved to make sure that the prior group had cleaned up after themselves. It was important that Konoha left a good impression after. She checked to make sure that any earth that had been moved was shoveled back into place and that any kunai or shurikens were cleaned up. She was also looking for traps, because those too were often tested out in the middle of the woods.

So now, here she was again at the familiar sight of the door. Deja vu. She thought to herself and gave an amused chuckle as she knocked on the door once more. She would wait patiently until they would open the door before she began to explain the good news. Good news, we got approved for a training field right now. I checked it out on my way back here - its not far and its secluded enough for your needs and to top it all off it hasn’t even been used today. She gestured with her arms directing them in an “after you” type of motion. ”I can take you both there now if you would like, or perhaps somewhere else?” Nakano asked tilting her head and waiting for their answer. It was a mission she had never been given before so the hope was that she was doing a good job. She was not aware of the pain that she might have inflicted on Itoshi as a result of her prompt leaving - she thought she was only getting things set up for them in the training field.

The youth and his bodyguard Izumi packed a few things into a an average sized backpack and got ready to go as Nakano instructed. It seemed that the training field she had found for them was promising. It was unused so far today so everything should go smoothly. A Little bit of training for both Itoshii and Izumi would not hurt them one bit. Theoretically anyway. Izumi wanted Itoshii to focus on something other than improving his physical abilities. Her belief was that he relied too much on his special ability, and it the long run it would be a disadvantage to him. She wanted him to become a more rounded shinobi. If he were to attend the Chunin exams in his current state, he would pass only if he was lucky enough to not come across a genjutsu user. And this is exactly what she wanted him to focus on. Although she knew he hated it, he was young and extremely energetic. Niche skills like genjutsu took a little bit of work, a different kind of work. The type of work Itoshii was not used to, and did not particularly like.

There may be some convincing she would have to do. But if worst came to worst, she would just request Nakano to get a genjutsu user to attend the training field, to aide with Itoshiis training. But for now they would simply have to get to the training field, and remain as low-key as they possibly could; even if it meant them taking side alleys, taking the long route to get there. Safety was her priority, and her opinion was that in that prevention was the best way to approach this. Until they were a few hundred meters away from their abode, Izumi and Itoshii remained quiet. Only once they were out of their residential area, and into the commercial area of the village did Izumi begin speaking. 'So... What do you specialize in?' Izumi said softly. She did not want to impose, bu she believed it would be a good time to find out how Nakano could help them in their training.

”It seems somewhat like a faux pas to ask another village’s kunoichi to reveal her secrets doesn’t it?” Nakano replied in kind, keeping her voice low and soft much like Izumi had. She continued to lead them but hummed a thought to herself before replaying further with, ”But if you must know, I’m not the kind who likes to fight all that much. I’m a medical ninja, so I’m usually in the backlines, but I do know a few jutsu to protect myself of course, so don’t underestimate me too much. ” She finished with a wink. Trust me. It didn’t take too much longer to reach the training field. Nakano stepped out into the middle of the field that she had left not too long ago - having ensured that it had been cleaned up from all the debris from prior spars. She began to stretch and place herself in compromising positions, bending over here, and leaning forward there. She knew she was a woman with a full figure and she was absolutely shameless, but she played things off like she was ignorant of both the fact that she might have been enticing to watch.

”So do you play any sparring games in Sunagakure? Nakano would ask of Izumi and Itoshii. ”Its basically a spar that has an additional objective. It is excellent for simulating mission objectives, and plus, it is quite fun! Usually at least. Nakano stopped stretching. ” I doubt I could win in a straight fight against a talented lad like Itoshii, so I have set up a game already. So much like a regular spar, I will be your opponent, but in these woods I have hidden a pink ribbon on a tree branch. Your objective is to find the pink ribbon and bring it back to Izumi. I am going to try and stop you the entire time, just don’t be too harsh on me okay? Nakano feigned a smile, but it seemed as genuine a smile as one could be. The truth be told she didn’t have much in the way of emotions, so everything she did was a lie of sorts. But she was an excellent liar for that reason - she had spent a lifetime watching people and seeing the appropriate way to move and when to use what expression. In essence she had learned how to lie and blend in just like everyone else.

”Now then. Lets start with something easy. Nakano flipped through some handseals and created a second Nakano. This Nakano congealed from the moisture in the air. A water clone. First the water took Nakano’s shape. Then it filled in with color and texture as to Match the real Nakano’s. ”don’t let him into the forest” Nakano told her clone. ”I already know that.” the clone said. The clone spanked Nakano’s rear and Nakano gave a yelp in surprise and gave a look at her own clone who bit her tongue mischievously. ”What? Its a nice ass.” The clone complained.

”Not when there is children around Nakano complained. The water clone Nakano looked over at Itoshii and shrugged. ”What? This strapping lad? He’s old enough.” The clone Nakano get into a fighting stance as the real Nakano rolled her eyes and gave Izumi a placating gesture with her hands. She moved into the forest, mentally cackling, because she woulda slapped the clones ass if their positions had been swapped. Real Nakano would find a safe hiding space and then she would think to herself… ”I shouldn’t give him nightmares right? But where should I stop exactly?” she would whisper to herself.

Betterment in Konoha

Izumi smiled as Nakano pointed out that revealing her skills was not something she would do. She was sharp and Izumi admired that. Made her feel glad that Sunas allies were not fools. But Konoha had nothing to fear from Suna. 'I completely understand, i would not expose my strengths and weaknesses to others either. But in terms of sparring games, it all depends on the Sensei, I have always been tasked with looking after Itoshii, my training style is more direct, so something lass direct will be fun for him.'

Itoshii skipped along ahead of the two. He was keen to get there as quickly as possible. Completely oblivious to the twos conversation, he just minded his own business. Izumi however paid close attention to Nakano. 'It will not be me you will be sparring. Little Itoshii there is your opponent.' Izumi let out a gentle chuckle before continuing. 'He might be a young lad, but do not underestimate him.' She said as her gaze moved from Nakano to the youth skipping along a few meters ahead.

Soon they arrived at the training area. It was a lot different from what could be found in Sunagakure, but the principles remained the same. A wide open area surrounded by things that could be used as cover. Itoshii smiled upon entering the arena and immediately began a little warm up. Incorporating a little jog, some gentle stretches. The boy was in the zone and oblivious to what was happening around him. He paid attention to what was being said, but that was about it. 'Pink ribbon back to Izumi... Easy enough.' The youth thought and began to scan the area, only to notice that there suddenly were two Nakanos, getting feisty with one another. 'Hey! I am a man grown you know! I'm just.... little...' Itoshi shouted as he heard one of the Nakanos call him a child.

With his little warm up done, the youth entered a sprinters pose. Palms on the ground, left leg extended, right leg at a nintey-degree angle ready to propel him forwards in the direction of the forest. 'She won't let me into the forest ehh... Let's see about that...' The youth thought right before his right leg pressed against the ground and he dashed forwards towards the trees situated around thirty meters away. The kid was rapid, rapid for his age anyway. It would not take him long to reach the trees and if Nakano wanted to keep up, she would have to get a move on. Finding a pink ribbon should be easy, pink was not a colour often found in nature, especially not a forest. All he had to do is keep an eye for something out of the ordinary.

Betterment in Konoha

Clone Nakano stood whimsically with a smirk on her face as Itoshii stormed towards the tree thirty meters away. Clone Nakano was just a hair slower than Itoshii, but her handseals were much much faster. She Used Suiton - Propel Leap to emit explosive water to hurl herself ahead of Itoshii, moving as if she had been thrown with 40 strength. Then in front of the boy she formed more hand seals and spat out Suiton Crashing wave. A 10 meter by 5 meter tall wave would roll towards Itoshii at 40 strength and speed. It honestly was only a token effort. She only needed to stall him for just a moment, long enough for the real Nakano to place the ribbon. Once her stalling was done she would put up no further resistance and watch the boy slip into the forest.

She made her way over to where Izumi was standing. Clone Nakano didn’t do anything to stop Itoshii from entering the forest. Instead she began to form a series of seals, her eyes locked onto Izumi’s. ”Now keep in mind this is part of the game. Stand right there.” she explained to Izumi as she completed her series of seals. A barrier of Water would erupt from the earth around herself and Izumi, forming a completed dome. Suiton: Great Geyser Wall Jutsu . It wouldn’t matter if Itoshii did get the barrier, he wouldn’t be able to get to Izumi. ”Now we just need to wait.” The water clone proceeded to eye Izumi up and down shamelessly. By the by, you should ask me out when you’re free of charge. The real me that is. I’m just a clone - the real me won’t even remember this conversation. Do you happen to fancy women by any chance? I’m sorry - that was a little forward of me. I hope you’ll forgive me.

It wasn’t necessarily about putting the ribbon on a random tree branch. Nakano, being the little cheat that she was, found a cubby hole in a tree stump and tied the ribbon to a kunai, and stuck it inside, the kunai digging into the wood of the tree. Just out of sight the ring of the kunai had a thin wire, virtually invisible in the shade of the tree, connected to an explosive tag. He would only find the ribbon now if he were to look at it from the correct angle - and then the second part of this was that if he did, he would explode as well. Now it was time to hunt down Itoshii. She formed her handseals and activated Sensory Style Beyond Senses, and used that to track Itoshii. It gave her a general location, and given that she was 30 meters away from her own clone and Izumi it was a lot easier to detect the boy trying to steal the ribbon and his chakra alone.

Custom: Suiton: Great Geyser Wall Jutsu
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user forms a wall of Water that springs out of the ground up to 50m away from their position. The Barrier is 2 meters thick and can be up to 20 + 3 x [Control / 5] meters long. The wall's pathing is at the direction of the user and part of the wall's length can be used instead to form a dome with a 20 + 3 x [Control/5] meter radius. The barrier forms at [Control] Speed, has [Control] Strength, and lasts 4 posts before collapsing into a puddle of water.

*Suiton • Crashing Wave
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive tidal wave of water 10 meters wide and nearly 5 meters tall. This wave travels forward at a [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 25 meters before losing it's steam and failing.

*[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: 10 Control
First performing handseals, this sensor jutsu is used by shinobi to feel chakra sources within a radius of 35 meters. While this jutsu is fairly helpful in sensing chakra, it is unable to actually pinpoint specific chakras outside of a 10m radius. This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.
