Nakano Chuunin Exam

Testing Nakano for whether or not become a chuunin was a difficult decision. It was well known about her problems to the hire ups, but genin would not be able to complete the missions that were going to be required of her. Thus the village of the Hidden Leaf, Konohagakure no Sato had decided to test her. It would be better for her skills to not be put on display in front of the world via a formal international chuunin exam, but at home locally this should be acceptable. The course was in one of several small arenas that Konohagakure typically hosted these chuunin exams in with audience seating for the families and loved ones. Nakano was placed on a genin team with two other genin, Hana and Keiji. The goal was simple - defeat the two chuunin.

The chuunin were obviously more experienced than the genin team, so the genin would need to work to make up this difference by using their team work to make up for the areas that they yet lacked in. So Nakano found herself standing beside her three comrades in this event with the two chuunin opposite to her.

“Specialities?” Nakano asked of her companions while the proctor explained the rules.

“I’m a ninjutsu specialist.” Hana answered.

“All rounder.” Keiji answered.

“Genjutsu.” Nakano responded to them. She was already forming a plan in her mind. “Keiji you will be the front line, distract them. I’ll make Opportunities with my Genjutsu and Hana you will be the heavy hitter - focus on captilizing on those openings with strong ninjutsu attacks.”

The other two nodded, seeing the logic in her words. The proctor started the fight. Keiji ran full speed towards the chuunin. Both of them were prepared to double team Keiji, but Nakano threw a Kunai at one and formed a couple of handseals to activate the paranoid genjutsu on the other. Keiji capitalized on the chuunin who was distracted by the genjutsu shadow and tied him up with a flurry of attacks. Nakano focused on the other target and cast Doubt on him.

While he called for help, the second chuunin was forced to pause as paranoia suddenly gripped him. Hana took advantage of the pause and unleashed a powerful fire jutsu attack against the chuunin who was forced to defend himself from it. Keiji tied up his opponent and Nakano thought it would be good to join in the attack. She relieved some of of the pressure off of Keiji and he was able to press the advantage even further. Under the relentless assault of three genin the chuunin was pressed into a corner. Keiji placed him in a hold and held a kunai to his neck.

The proctor called time and the two chuunin congratulated the three genin for their victory. Hows that for team work, Nakano thought. They had demonstrated their team work and defeated the three chunnin.
