On The Outside, looking Out

The thought of the famous watering hole for many of the beasts who dared called themselves the children of fire. A disgustingly pungent atmosphere was one that seemed so close to familiarity that it could have passed as a reflective counterpart. Yet the idea that this place lacked Garusega made it feel more like a pale imitation of something that no one should dare try to mimic. Blame it on the clutter of the men and women moving in and out making their way to the ‘it’ place of the day, if only for this moment in time. Or you could blame it on the conforming masses which seemed to simply enjoy the setting simply because it insisted upon itself. The most obvious answer would be that En was simply bias due to this ‘Konoholic’ place simply wasn’t what he was use to, and as such he had already made up his mind to bear a bias mindset going into things.

En sadly didn’t feel like breaking past the façade of a lazy man simply to avoid dealing with this place. Perhaps it was for the better that he weaned himself off of the intoxicating setting of his home away from home, even if only to go out and meet new people. He had already made the journey to get here, so it was only fair that he at least survey the setting so that he could get a better feel for everything before casting his judgment on the place. Well, before casting a more serious judgment rather then the preemptive strike he had thrown onto the place as a whole.

En had dressed in his black cotton kimono so that he could feel more at one with the underbelly setting of this ‘Konoholic’ place he had been told of. However, for some reason the shortening sleeves which he had selected over his long sleeved ones he seemed to prefer seemed to be bothering him greatly. A fine golden sash was tied around his waist to keep the kimono held up, and a fine pair of black socks seemed to be sticking out from beneath him, only shown from in-between his thick brown sandals. Though beneath his kimono En had been wearing a fine black cotton shirt, it was far too thin for anyone to notice aside of those treading close enough to see down his shirt in the first place.

En had been treading roughly thirty two meters away from the primary entrance of the building itself. And he had found himself pacing around the area itself attempting o come to a final conclusion as to what he should have done with himself. There were men and women heading in and out at regular intervals, while plenty of children seemed to be putting on their best acts to try and sneak in so they could rush their youth to join the mainstream adult life. En couldn’t simply walk into the place without feeling as though he had done something wrong. So he would wait, wait for some sign of sorts to expand on his opinion.

On The Outside, looking Out

How did Minoru get into this mess? He was quite simply minding his own business, performing his daily training session as expected. However once again his taste for adventure and the unknown took over him once again. Upon passing a small group of children they approached him about a place called the 'Konoholic'. Something which was apparently a location full of wonders and joy just for the people of Konoha, something no-one wants to miss out on. Naturally Minoru rushed straight there. But obviously the kids wanted something out of it: Some booze. The Senju himself has never actually tried some alcohol, particularly because of his overprotective and rule abiding bringing up. Yeah... thanks Senju traditions.

Upon approaching the location Minoru felt he looked nervous and obviously out of place even though he was not so different from his usual self. Dressed in a simple lightweight cardigan made of cotton which was brown in colour the Genin was rather easily capable of blending in with the surrounding forestry. Particularly considering that his undershirt was green and his pants were cargo-styled. Actually, if anyone did spot him right now he would be so out of place it would be unbelievable. Taking a peek or two out from his current position the young Senju observed his surroundings and all that was going on. Well, all that he could see that was going on. There seemed to be men and women entering and leaving at continuous intervals with a few kids trying their best to get in. No doubt the little chaps expected Minoru to be one of those wannabe adults. Just how the hell did he get into this position?

Thinking about it, simply throwing a kunai might cause enough panic to allow him to slip in and take some booze. But then that would be against his beliefs and no doubt ruin his family's reputation if he was found out. Perhaps he could come up with some sort of alternative personality and throw on a mask, cause some mayhem and have fun. But then that sounded like too much work. He’s never really heard of a superhero that’s completely happy. What a bunch of troublesome kids, why would they want some booze anyway? Troublemakers to say the least.

For now he would just approach the place in some sort of disguise and try his best not to get caught. To be honest, the plan was quite clearly bizarre and most definitely creative. Collapsing his hands against each other Minoru began to perform the bird seal, focusing his chakra to the required points. Continuing to unlock his fingers into the dog seal the Genin once again sorted his chakra and affinities into what was required before finally collecting both his palms together into the snake seal. Upon finishing the techniques wood suddenly sprang from the ground in a somewhat spinning motion before collapsing inwards at Minoru. The strips of wood quickly connected almost perfectly, forming a simple log cover over the Genin. Tipping onto his side within the wooden case Minoru pushed forwards, suddenly forcing himself out of the cover of the forestry straight out towards the entrance of the Konoholic appearing to be nothing more than a simple wooden log. However anyone who was familiar with Mokuton abilities would be able to tell that it was some sort of Senju creation just from the presence it had.

A sudden image seemed to be making it's way into En's field of vision. Though he would have normally simply turned away and advanced into the area which he had been intending to. En couldn't help but suddenly notice that for some reason the man whom had been standing just a few feet away from him seemed to be more or less, stand outish from the rest of the group. It felt as though the very presence of the man was one that he had known himself for some time.

"Hey..." En found himself speaking as he made his way towards the man just several feet away from him. His actual body movements seemed to be rather loose in the sense that he was trying to make himself seem as calm as possible. It would have been odd for him to advance towards someone whom he should have remembered only to have been told that he had forgotten them due to some laps of judgment or something along those lines. After all, even when having time to himself, En knew that it was proper to still at least pretend to be a gentleman.

Yet, for the life of him En couldn't quite remember exactly why and how it was that this person seemed familiar to him. As he seemed to get closer he rose one of his hands as though giving him the universal sign for hello in hopes that the person would see him. It was one of the few times, that En actually found himself lost in thought attempting to understand what it was that he was meant to do.
