General Information Type: Family
Village: Sunagakure no Sato
Size: 30+ Families
Traits: Originally nomadic desert wanderers, most Souseiji have dark complexions and hair. Aside from this, unlike with traditional tenkujutsu that leaves a visible seal, the family's connection to their spirit twin manifest solely in a physical mutations. Every family member has heterochromia of the eyes. Aside from this family members often have one or more horns on their head. The visual appearance of the spirit twin must be humanoid.
Traditions:
Reverence of Nature:
Originally nomads that traveled through the deserts of Wind country, the people of this family hold a deep reverence of nature and believe that spirits play a pivotal role in its balance. As such, they hold their own special holidays to worship these spirits in turn. Most important of which is the Memory of Joining. The anniversary of the pact made between man and spirit that changed the village forever.
Ascending:
Believing spirits are a higher life form than humans, the Souseiji Family believes that they raise themselves higher by fusing with a spirit. As such they call the process Ascending. They discovered the spirit fusion has a higher synchronization rate when joined at a younger age with less risk of rejection. So the Ascending Ceremony is most commonly done at the age of 5 before the children enter the academy. The ceremony is such a big affair that it replaces their birthday, instead choosing to celebrate their rebirth with the spirit, calling it their twin.
Bonding and Development:
The Souseiji is expected to train amd work with their spirit twin and help them grow as much as possible. This ranges from teaching them maths and language arts to training the spirit to manipulate the chakra bodies the Souseiji makes for them. This, prior to graduation, is promoted with a training armor used to help synchronize the spirit with the chakra phantom. The Souseiji is expected to have trained the spirit to function without aid of the armor prior to graduation from the academy.
Survivalist:
In order to remember and honor their previous nomadic ways, upon graduation from the academy, the younger generation is sent out to survive for a year straight in the deserts surrounding Sunagakure. For the Souseiji this is the a secondary final exam determining their future in the Family. Failure means returning to the Academy. They are expected to survive and live in the same manner as their ancestors for the one year. While a senior of the family will secretly tail them to prevent any outside interference, they will not be helped nor will they be allowed to ask for it. It is believed that a violation of this tradition, shall anger the souls of the ancestors and bring a curse upon their family line.
Influence: As a new part of the village that has yet to prove itself, the Souseiji Family has little in the way of political influence. However, their closeness with spirits secures their position in the village, as Sunagakure works to advance its research and understanding of spirits to a new level.
History Originally the Souseiji Family was known as the Seishin clan. They were one of the many nomadic Oasis Villages spread amongst the few hospitable lands of wind country. They were named for their unique spirituality and worship of nature and the spirits that embodied the various aspects of it. The village leader, a tribal shaman, was blessed with a dream message from one of the many spirit clans of the spirit realm.

The spirit informed the Shaman that his tribe was being hunted down and wiped out. Their numbers quickly dropping the spirit sought the help of the human realm to bolster their ranks. They beseeched the shaman to agree to a special blood pact that would tie the two clans together forever. The spirits sought to take advantage of the humans quick reproductive cycle. They'd plant a spirit embryo within a human infant, fusing their chakra networks. When the human died the spirit would be released to the Spirit realm to bolster the clans numbers.

The Shaman, in line with the village's devout almost zealot like worship of spirits, could not possibly refuse. However, his compliance would change them in ways he could not have foreseen. Awakening chakra, the village became rife with accidents and injuries like chakra burns from not understanding how to manage the new gift properly. They turned to Sunagakure for help; hoping the Shinobi could save their families and children. The village accepted them providing they contribute towards research into spirits. After two generations, with aid from the village, they developed a unique fighting style that involved their twin souls. Though their time in the Sunagakure no Sato has been short, they are truly devoted and loyal to their "saviors".
Shinobi Information
Soul Bound:
Due to the pact made by the Family, during the Ascending Ceremony the family member enters a symbiotic relationship with a spirit embryo. One mortal, one spirit, bound forever. The spirit feeds on the host chakra and blood, but in return gives some of its own back to the host. This results in the physical mutations of the Souseiji and causes the spirit to develop an appearance similar to the host.

The exchange also influence's the host chakra as well. This influence can be observed only when the Souseiji's chakra is interacting with the chakra of a non-family member. The introduction of spirit realm energy into the Souseiji's chakra causes it to react reverse of the natural laws reversing strengths and weaknesse. So in a case of D-rank katon vs D rank suiton. Instead, of suiton trumping the Souseiji's katon jutsu, the Souseiji's katon jutsu is treated as if it had an elemental advantage instead. All elements the Souseiji family member has maintain their normal passives.
Battle Mode:
All Souseiji have what they call their battle mode. While young due to a lack of a physical body the spirit doesnt have a physical form. However, once the Souseiji is able to utilize chakra, they can manifest a body for the spirit. Before graduation they utilize special armor that synchronizes the spirit limbs with the Souseiji's true limbs, they train the spirit how to move the body. In order to capitalize on dual mind and body state, the Souseiji Family has devised a specialized fighting style that enhances coordination and team work between spirit and man.
Requirements:

Higher than average control and chakra pool at start up.

One ability slot.

Must have a sheet to describe their spirit twin.

As a direct result of the symbiotic relationship with a spirit, members of the Souseiji Family have an extra piece to their chakra, spirit realm energy. The introduction of spirit realm energy into the Souseiji's chakra causes it to react reverse of the natural laws, switching their strengths and weaknesses. So, for example, in a case of D-rank katon vs D rank suiton. Instead, of suiton trumping the Souseiji's katon jutsu, the Souseiji's katon jutsu is treated as if it had an elemental advantage instead. All elements the Souseiji Family member has maintain their normal passives.

After performing the required hand seals, an human sized illusory clone in the form of their twin spirit. The illusion will move at a speed equal to [Control].

-Souseiji - Phantom's Face
D-rank Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, an head will form out of chakra floating within a .5 meter radius of the user. The face is a direct match of the spirit's. The spirit twin can use this head to see, hear and speak. Once cast this jutsu imposes a -1 chakra pool debuff until released as the user maintains a steady flow of chakra to continue the jutsu.

-Souseiji - Phantom's Trick Room
D-rank Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals the user releases a blast of their chakra into the surrounding area with a mild shockwave with [Control] speed and strength. The spirit energy that reverses elemental interactions is dispersed in a 3x3x3m area. Any elemental jutsu used within said space has its elemental strength and weakness reversed for the duration it is inside the trick room zone unless already influenced by the Souseiji spirit energy. The space last a number of post equal to the user's chakra pool stat.

-Souseiji - Phantom's Incarnation
A-rank Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will create a clone in the form of their twin spirit. The clone will be the same size as the Souseiji and will share their stats. The clone will last [Control]/5 post.

-Souseiji - Phantom's Descent
S-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: 50 Control
After performing the required hand seals, a body of chakra in the shape of their twin will form, being possessed by the spirit twin giving it a temporary body of its own. It will be 7 times the size of the Souseiji, but will share their stats. The drain to sustain the Spirit's body is immense and will drain 1 point of Chakra Pool points per post.

Tsuin no Kage Style:
Tsuin no Kage is the Nintaijutsu that the Family has meticulously perfected to not only train the spirit to manipulate a body, but to also improve the coordination between the Souseiji's twin souls.

D-Rank Nintaijutsu Stance
Using a moment to synchronize with their twin, the Souseiji joins with their twin spirit and molds their chakra into a projection that resembles the upper body of their spirit that is four times as large as the user. This projection follows the movements of the practitioner. So long as the practitioner remains in this Stance, they can constantly emit chakra to maintain and repair this chakra projection. If the practitioner attacks with this projection, the attack moves at a Speed equal to their Speed and a Strength of [Control]. Nintaijutsu maneuvers in the Tsuin no Kage style executed while in this Stance are granted a Strength value of [Control]. The practitioner can exit this Stance reflexively to conserve chakra. Due to the chakra intensive nature of this Stance, this technique drains 1 Chakra Pool stat every five posts in addition to the chakra costs of other techniques the practitioner uses, regardless of whether they attack with the chakra projection or not.

Working in tandem with their spirit the practitioner releases a 1-2-3 punch combo. This technique turns the punches into a double-strike, the spirit projection mimicking the user's assault, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to ten meters away.

D-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): [Deft Hands] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
Working in tandem with their spirit the practitioner releases a seemingly simple grab at the target. The spirit projection will mimic the grab seeking to latch on to the target, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to ten meters away.

D-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): [Deft Hands] and [Sword] Concentrations, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
Working in tandem with their spirit the practitioner attempts to grab the target. The spirit projection will clap its hands summoning a blade of chakra and will slash down vertically between the hands of the Souseiji, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to Control.

D-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
Working in tandem with their spirit the practitioner releases a rapid 1-2-3 claw technique. This technique turns the swipes into a double-strike, the spirit projection mimicking the user's assault, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to ten meters away.

~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage • Spirit Pummel[/b]
C-Ranked Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.[/i]
Using a dual-powered attack, the Souseiji grabs onto the target's arms, keeping them in position. As long as they are in that position, the spirit projection is able to punch and claw at the target almost freely, due to the target being captured. Someone with a higher strength than the Souseiji can easily break the hold, though.

C-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: [Deft Hands] and [Perception] Concentrations, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
The spirit seeing harm coming towards the user that the Souseiji does not from its vantage point behind them, will lash out with its claws to intercept an oncoming attack, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to ten meters away.

C-Ranked Nintaijutsu Discipline
Prerequisites: [Perception] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
The Souseiji uses the eyes of the spirit projection to relay visual information to the Souseiji. This allows the Souseiji to cover his blind spots and to make more accurate predictions about the trajectory of weapons. If neither the spirit or the Souseiji see the launch of the weapon they may still predict trajectory but will be unable to account for any taijutsu that maybe used with the weapon.

C-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: [CQC] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
Working in tandem with their spirit the practitioner releases a joint strike with both fist. This technique turns the punches into a double-strike, the spirit projection mimicking the user's assault, its Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to 25 meters away. This can take out a lot of defenses and unless they’re supported by outside forces will knock a punched foe back a number of yards equal to the difference in their strength and the practitioner's [Control].

B-Rank Nintaijutsu Stance
Prerequisites: [CQC] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage, and 24 Control
Using a moment to synchronize with their twin the Souseiji joins with their twin spirit and molds their chakra into an armor that resembles the spirit. So long as the practitioner remains in this Stance, they can constantly emit chakra to maintain and repair this chakra projection. If the practitioner attacks with this armor, q portion of spirit realm energy will enter the targets body disrupting the flow of chakra and causing nausea and disorientation that last one post. Nintaijutsu maneuvers in the Tsuin no Kage style executed while in this Stance are granted a Strength value of [Control] and a Speed that matches the user's. The practitioner can exit this Stance reflexively to conserve chakra. Due to the chakra intensive nature of this Stance, this technique drains 1 Chakra Pool point every three post in addition to the chakra costs of other techniques the practitioner uses, regardless of whether they attack with the chakra armor or not.

~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage • Unity Armor
B-Rank Nintaijutsu Stance
Prerequisites: [CQC] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage, and 24 Control
Using a moment to synchronize with their twin the Souseiji joins with their twin spirit and molds their chakra into an armor that resembles the spirit. So long as the practitioner remains in this Stance, they can constantly emit chakra to maintain and repair this chakra projection. While in this stance each strike is layered with that of the spirit's resulting in a double impact. Nintaijutsu maneuvers in the Tsuin no Kage style executed while in this Stance are granted a Strength value of [Control] and a Speed that matches the user's. The practitioner can exit this Stance reflexively to conserve chakra. Due to the chakra intensive nature of this Stance, this technique drains 1 Chakra Pool point every three posts in addition to the chakra costs of other techniques the practitioner uses, regardless of whether they attack with the chakra armor or not.

B-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: [CQC] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
Working in tandem with their Spirit twin the user starts with a leg sweep while the spirit projection does an arm thrust. Once the target is off balance the Souseiji lets loose a kick launching the target in the air. Finally the spirit will strike with a thrust of the opposite hand knocking the target away. The spirit has a Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control] for up to 40 meters away.

~Souseiji • Spirit Invasion
A-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
While the Souseiji is locked in combat grappling with a target, the spirit projection will move to stab the target with a weapon formed of chakra. If it is successful the chakra making up the projection will channel into the body of the target before detonating. The user is not immune to the effects of the blast.

A-Rank Nintaijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: [Deft Hands] Concentration, ~Souseiji • Tsuin no Kage must be active.
While the Souseiji is locked in combat grappling with a target, the spirit projection will move to chomp its teeth down painfully into its target, tearing off pieces of flesh. The Spirit projection will continue to "devour" the target so long as the Souseiji keeps the target grappled. The spirit has a Speed equal to the practitioner's Speed and a Strength equal to [Control].

S-Rank Nintaijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 45 Control
Using a moment to synchronize with their twin the Souseiji joins with their twin spirit and molds their chakra into a projection that resembles the body of their spirit that is 7 times as large as the user. This projection envelopes the user like an armor the Souseiji floating in the abdominal region. So long as the practitioner remains in this Stance, they can constantly emit chakra to maintain and repair this chakra projection. If the practitioner attacks with this projection, the attack moves at a Speed equal to their Speed and a Strength of [Control]. The practitioner can exit this Stance reflexively to conserve chakra. Due to the chakra intensive nature of this Stance, this technique drains 3 Chakra Pool points every five posts in addition to the chakra costs of other techniques the practitioner uses, regardless of whether they attack with the chakra projection or not.

So small thing, the actual title of the bloodline quote box should probably have the name of the kekkei genkai.

Also, for your stances, you forgot to scale up the speed buffs. You don't HAVE to only buff speed (for example, you could make the C-Rank one +3 Strength and +3 Speed), but you should scale the buffs up. Also keep in mind that you WILL need to put debuffs on these of equal value as per the normal boosting rules (I apologize for not catching that when we talked about these; the ones I did were a bit different because they were buffing the techniques and not the characters). So if you're giving +3 on something, something else has to give -3, etc.

I removed the buff entirely as it being nintai needs a balance of Nin, tai, speed, Strength, stamina, and Control making it M.A.D.(multi ability dependant) if i scaled the buff I feel itd be too limiting as a clan technique if i locked in a specific stat draw back. And finally i changed the tag for the blood line

In connection with the bloodline, whenever you’re switching an elemental weakness, you have to replace it with something else. Considering you’re doing a reversal for f chakra nature vulnerabilities, that means that the strengths would be inverted to weaknesses to.

Example:
Katon - Strong vs. Suiton, Weak vs. Fuuton
Doton - Strong vs. Raiton, Weak vs. Suiton

While it’s thematically interesting, sorta, I don’t know if it serves any real fundamental purpose. Cuz if we’re saying you can switch between normal and reversed Katon, each one of those would need to be its own elemental concentration IMO.

The clan wouldnt have the ability to use normal katon so to speak. All of their elemental jutsu have the inverse strength and weakness due to the inclusion of the spirit energy in their chakra. A member of the clan would NOT be able to use Katon jutsu that is strong against Fuuton. There is no switching between normal and reversed forms of elements.

The real theme of the clan besides the whole twin soul bit is how energy from the spirit realm cause a reversal of the natural laws in the primary realm. The reversal of chakra natures is the simplist and easiest way for me to represent that without it being too overpowered or strange and unable to be regulated

The soul twin stuff aside the clan/KKG part is the nature reversal for chakra. Theres nothing that prevents this from being "clannable". The soul twin is simply the means through which the ability occurs. I have it as clan not house because it is something they're born with. Its not something just anyone could get by simply being a jinchuukiri. Because they are born with the spirit as part of them their chakra is fundamentally different. A house/ family is a taught skill or after birth ability. This is neither. I mean we have clans that are legit just body mods on the server, shoryu clan, they have a special ability themed body mods and then clan taijutsu techniques. My clan has an ability, and then special nintaijutsu techs that is their clan jutsu that stems from how they are born

Personally speaking, I don't have a problem with it as just a house/family but before it can be properly checked it needs to be converted over to the new system

I'm not seeing anything too horribly wrong but you do however make several references to stamina, all of which should be changed to endurance and/or chakra pool. If you could go ahead and fix those we may be good to go.

• All references to a bloodline need to be removed. This is not a bloodline; bloodlines are naturally passed down and this isn’t.

• In order to remember and honor their previous nomadic ways, upon coming of age the younger generation is sent out to survive for a year straight in the deserts surrounding Sunagakure <—— what age is the coming of age?

• At what age does the Ascending Ceremony take place?

• In the battle mode you reference a special armor but nowhere do I see were this is described further.

• You need to specify that the elements’ weaknesses AND strengths are reversed. Right now your example is that katon is strong against suiton. The opposite, that katon is weak to fuuton, also needs to be true. Otherwise katon will be strong against suiton AND fuuton, and that’s too strong

Bloodline reference should be removed, was a leftover from when this was planned as a clan.

Changed coming of age to after graduation.

As already stated Ascending can be done at any age, but its been found the body rejects it less when done at a younger age so most commonly it is done at the age of 5 prior to entering the academy.

Made another reference to the armor in tradition section, its not something that provides any boost or benefit to the character as they're expected to stop using it prior to graduating, kinda like using Training wheels on a bike. It was added for flavor not to be a legitimate component for every family member to add to their inventory.

Left the example as is, one example should be enough to see how it works. I did however further clarify the strengths and weaknesses are both flipped.

I suggest having the ability a tad clearer, I could see how people may get confused and think it’s the quotes above. E.G.
Abilty:
Spirit Energy.

I believe the mastery stat should come into play, physically manifesting a spirit would work similar to how Genma access their forms. Specially when it can manifest itself as an additional body.

I am vehemently against adding mastery stats to families/clans as it limits options for the characters people make. You can only have 1 mastery stat and thus you can't have an additional ability that may better use or things like swarms. Mastery stats are in place on genma not just because if the spirit within but also because of how much the character gets for being a jinchukiri in one ability. Ie basics, extensions get a hell of alot all packed into one ability.

The ability of this clan imo isnt enough to justify sacrificing a players only option for their Nth stat as all they really get is the nature reversal. Manifesting a spirit can be done easily as a companion summon. Aside from that creating constructs of chakra is something anyone can do.

Hmm, that seems plausible. I guess everyone would need to create a companion the same way the Inuzuka do? Aslong as e companion has the correct stats to perform the jutsu. Though companions do have a limited time for how long they can be summoned, this would limit how long this ability could be done for.

The jutsu that creates the chakra manifestation has a chakra pool stat drain in the jutsu. The higher level ones that allow the spirit to function completely without the house member have a higher chakra drain.

Duration: Their fighting style may be used basically until theyd run out of chakra to support the spirit manifestation.

Companion vs ability: Its not being wrote as a full companion summon as the spirit is sealed in the character and fused with their chakra network this has some different effects such as lack of stats on the spirits part going entirely off the Souseiji's stats.

As the spirits body isnt being summoned as its sealed away, but rather a chakra manifestation made by the user; the manifestation relies on the user's Control stat for the maximum speed and strength exerted. The spirit also cant break the Souseiji house member out of a genjutsu as their chakra networks are connected.

As a general critique to your jutsu, a lot of these are really short range. I'm pretty certain you can make their ranges scale based on the normal ranges for their rank, which go roughly as follows:

D-Rank: 10 meters
C-Rank: 25 meters
B-Rank: 40 meters
A-Rank: 65 meters
S-Rank: 80 meters

Keep in mind that with the change to the new system, it's possible that these ranges will need to scale to the Strength of the house member in meters instead, but start out with the better ranges. This format of nintaijutsu was already kinda new in the old system, and it makes transitioning to the new system a more iterative process than usual.

The ranges scale +10 meters for every 5 strength higher than average for the rank iirc but it doesn't need to be written in the jutsu. Its written in the jutsu rules that that is simply part of how jutsu function now.

Original reason the range was short was the size of the spirit projection. But the arms could do a toon style stretch to hit things at further ranges at higher ranks. Thanks for pointing it out.

Adjusted the chakra drain on discordant armor and Unity armor since theyre both B-rank.

Was hoping for an at least a mention that the history/clan joining Suna aspect was good so if you didnt have time to approve it yourself the other mods would know that part is cleared

The history itself seems like it would work. I imagine it would create some friction with hyper-devout members of Sunagakure’s main faith in light of the overall fear of the Soul Genma, but I honestly think that makes their entry even more compelling.

Yea these guys don't have Deities per say but they believe in properly respecting spirits. They wouldn't be afraid but rather overly respectful. Kinda like a person tends to be towards a boss in a very formal work environment.
