"Innocence is not a luxury afforded to the strong."
General Information Age: 15
Gender: M
Height: 1.6m
Weight: 70.4kg
Physical Features:
- Face/head: Heihachi's relatively unique facial features make him quite easy to recognize. While most will take notice to his large, hawk-like eyes, it is his equally thick set of brows that equate to him being considered quite handsome. A consumate soldier, Heihachi's expression reflects the stern nature of his work. His face is constantly exposed to the harsh winter elements of his homeland, which has left his otherwise plump cheeks close to a rather square face shape. His neck is strong and pronounced- the result of a consistent reliance on topknots when preparing his appearance at home. While he has no signature look for this style of up-do, he will consistently adorn his head and/or hair with traditional pieces that are never without their fair share of history. These adornments, accompanied by an unruly mane and stern gaze, typically give Heihachi a somewhat feral appearance despite the nobility of his house.
- Body: While still growing, Heihachi's military dedication has yielded its fair share of physique. With a classic athleticism one might expect to see from a farmhand, Heihachi's body is not particularly cut or molded for aesthetics. Instead, his muscle is condensed and bulging. While by no means imposing, this physique gives Heihachi broad shoulders and arms that are typically concealed by the billowing black sleeves of his jittoku. Befitting to his family's prestige within the military, Heihachi's closet is composed of fine silks so black that they flawlessly absorb the light they are exposed to. While decidedly uninspired in his wardrobe, Heihachi has modified a few of his outfits to project his self-image in the context of modern fashion.
- Notable Features: Other than his constant air of nobility, Heihachi does not stand out from any other member of the Iron Country's samurai class.
Clothing/Accessories: Battle does not afford the luxury of fashion in Heihachi's opinion. Opting for the standard BDU of his squadron, the few customizations he has implemented into his loadout are somewhat recognizable. Still a low-ranking squadron, the team opts for the typical combination of waraji, sumeate, haidate, kusazuri, tekko, dou, kote, and more- but it is their mask and nodowa where they etch the symbol of their house, or village. Helmets left unadorned, the masks of Heihachi's particular unit is known for the attention to detail shown to their faceguards. Following suit, Heihachi's oni mask covers the lower half of the face and depicts the gnarled smile of a black kijin spirit. His house symbol is quite hidden- only visible in monogram pattern on the cloth portion of his kote. On rainy occasions or expeditions, the squadron may adopt a short cape that identifies their squad number and leader. Heihachi's casual dress isn't much different. An all monochromatic ensemble consisting of a black kimono, black nagoya obi, white tabi, and gunmetal geta. On more formal occasions, Heihachi may adopt a black kimono jacket lined with the fur of an old white wolf.
Personality:
- General: A product of his surroundings, Heihachi is a militant-minded youth with a waning patience for the world around him. Driven to action by the mistakes of the generations before him, he sees his generation as the next to bear a significant burden in their quest to maintain peace. While a far-cry from a pacifist, he aspires to be a true statesman and end all conflict through non-violent means. He is, however, not above his duty. A still low-ranking samurai from a prestigious house, he clings to his command as his primary source of validation. This has concocted a very low self-esteem for the boy, who will often retaliate against those who make him experience even the slightest moments of humiliation. Like almost every member of Iron Country's society, he holds his reputation in very high regard, and considered his kindness as an extension of his honor. This contradiction often places his honor in a vice-grip that has allowed him to develop a rather unique mental blind spot. Willing to both kill and suffer for the sake of his family's honor, he often opts for the former as an occam's razor that limits the number of entities to factor into his decision. Taking the role of 'the barbaric king,' in many situations, he pines for leadership in an attempt to justify his actions to both himself, and his legacy.
- Relationships: Heihachi is often considered 'stiff' around his peers. While more than willing to engage in the school-yard banter characteristic of his youth, he has a profound interest in the romantic depiction of the samurai from days of old. Hoping to build a greater legacy for he and his house, he sees every opportunity to advance his pursuit of power- either physically or politically. This has attracted him to a group of higher performing individuals throughout his time at the academy. Despite his shortcomings, Heihachi believes in the power of friendship, teamwork, and love. Undyingly loyal to his closest friends and family, he is even known to make a sacrifice for the betterment of those in his life. This has not manifested itself into any romantic attraction, Heihachi being more or less oblivious to the affections afforded him by his coin-purse or 'boy-next-door' appeal.
- Hopes/Dreams: Over the generations Iron Country and Samurai have become all but synonymous. Seen as the sunlit protectors of the people, they juxtapose the image of the shinobi who operate from the shadows. The course of history for hundreds of years has lead to this romantic conflict between these two forces of the continent to become blurred by their effects on the land, and its people. The countless loss of lives at the hands of wonton military forces has changed borders, histories, and even the environment for centuries to come. It is this legacy that Heihachi obssesses over. It is the faces of the dead who fill his dreams. Now, in the shadow of The Great War, Iron Country remains occupied by a young ninja of criminal status. To the young samurai, there can be no greater disgrace.
- Fears: Having gone through a rigorous expedition to Seikoujo, there are few worldly things that frighten Heihachi. In addition to their relationship with animals, the members of his clan are said to have a close relationship with the Yokai. Said to be the source of their strength, Heihachi has not yet proven himself worthy of these secrets. Until then, thoughts of demons flood his free mind. His home is filled with depictions of these demons, allowing his imagination to run wild in the many horrific manners the realm of the dead can visualize. In particularly battle-heavy situations, Heihachi can undergo temporary lapses sanity in the form of PTSD. In these instances he typically envisions the face of a victim on the body of an enemy before a beheading. These are particularly traumatic when participating in the ritual of Kaishakunin. Often pushing through these moments, it is not uncommon for Heihachi to be left with a residual illness or loss of hope after an execution.
- Combat Mentality: Heihachi is a firm believer in the romantic ideals of the samurai. Practicing horseplay, archery, calligraphy, and many other skills expected of a gentleman, he is particularly adept at swordplay. Assisting his mother as tracker during big game hunts, he is an adept outdoorsman. Enjoying his time in the bush almost more than the slog of civilization, he has an incredible respect for nature. This allows him to bypass the emotional effects of death in many cases. This seems to fall apart when not engaged in combat. Stuck somewhere between honor and trauma, Heihachi has difficulty engaging noncombatants in certain situations.

Equipment:
- 1 Rice Sun Hat - Developed by The Forge, the Rice Sun Hat is a specially crafted sun hat made by experts in Sanrou. The hat is roughly 1m across, and has [50 Strength], making it incredibly durable. Additionally, the hat has a blade within its rim, that can be manually pulled out, or will forcibly come out when the hat is spun at at least 10 speed. There is no mechanism to force the blade out otherwise. The most important aspect of the hat is that when worn, it masks the wearer’s chakra signature, reducing them to appear as a normal civilian in strength, without any information being able to be drawn from their chakra via sensory techniques.
- 1 Detemper Blade - A standard katana crafted by The Forge, roughly 80cm in length with a short two handed hilt. After the standard forging process is applied to the blade and it is tempered, a second metal is then forged to be applied to only the blade edge of the weapon. This second metal is highly reactive to the tempering process, and when comes it comes in contact with tempered weapons, it removes their tempering, reducing them to their default strength. This allows the samurai to (very often) easily destroy most weapons used to defend against them, quickly disarming their opponents.
- 1 Yumi - A traditional longbow.
- 25 Arrows
- 10 shuriken
- 10m of wire
- 5 kunai
- 5 exploding tags
- 1 smoke bomb
- 1 flash bang

- [KEMURIGAKURE - TEMPERMENT] - E RANK NIN
Doing a single hand seal, the user is able to regulate their intake of Sage Chakra, allowing them to reap the benefits of Sage Chakra without suffering the [Euphoric] effect. This technique is very easy to maintain and can be maintained without effort, or while utilizing other jutsu. - [KEMURIGAKURE - CHAKRA SWORD] - D RANK NIN
All the shinobi of Kemurigakure no Sato are also samurai, and are highly skilled with the use of swords. Should they ever be without one, these shinobi are able to generate a sword of chakra with [Control] strength at [Control] speed. This sword can be maintained for up to 5 posts, and can be utilized with any techniques that call for a sword. - [RAITON - CONDUCTOR] - D RANK NIN
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat a weapon they are holding in Raiton electricity for 5 posts. This causes the shock effect to be produced on any contact with a target, while also granting blunt weapons the ability to cut through skin to produce shallow wounds. This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early.

- [HITORI NO OTOKO - AMBIDEXTERITY] - D RANK NIN
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well. - [HITORI NO OTOKO - EXCHANGE] - D RANK NIN
Utilizing the dual sheathes these samurai use to carry their weapons, the samurai is able to exchange between bow and sword with ease, dropping one into the sheath and grabbing the other in the same motion. This allows the samurai to switch between bow and sword while closing in on their opponent. - [HITORI NO OTOKO - PREDATOR] - D RANK NIN
Trained extensively with a bow and arrow, the samurai is able to predict where a target will be based off of their current speed and trajectory, given the range between target and samurai. This allows the samurai to accurately aim to hit moving targets, though abrupt or sudden changes in movement will make this more difficult.

Historical AccountsShow
It is said that Heihachi was born to a dying woman. Slumped over in a smoldering hut, the person presumed to be Heihachi’s birth mother was discovered dead, and unable to answer the cries of an abandoned child. Of course, he had not so much been abandoned as he had been sentenced. The opportunity for this child to live a life anywhere between pathetic and extraordinary had evaded him. There are many stories of immaculate conception during conflict. The tinge of blood in the nostrils seems to have this effect on men. Bloodshed conjures the feckless hedonism that the desperate so desire. Soldiers rape and pillage their conquered. They eradicate crops, and taint fresh water while pumping out bastards that only the ghosts know by name. Heihachi’s mother was no different. Born to a long line of samurai, her family were said to have the blood of demons running through their veins. It was this hatred that left her without a family of her own. Cousins, brothers, suitors- they had all sought glory in the afterlife. She sought glory for her house. It was this concoction of fate that would ultimately bring them together. The legend of many great battles, Sakamoto Gozen earned a reputation as both a goddess and demon by those who stand at Iron Country’s borders. It was said that something changed in her during the war. Albeit the death of her family, or the shame experienced by Iron’s political shifts, Gozen would ultimately return from war to a land she no longer recognized, and an infant at her bosom.
Heihachi’s youth was well documented and bountiful. With her youth behind her, Gozen simultaneously become more rigid and wise. With no training or experience she could not care for the child alone, employing her many cousins and friends to support her new role. This, of course, did not supplant her relationship as an adoptive mother. Along Heihachi’s upbringing, the two would come to share many confusing moments together. This would ultimately allow them to develop a flawed but working relationship. In addition, it allowed him to grow closer with his extended family. It was his time spent at the various Sakamoto, Itō, and Matsushide estates owned by his family. Like most families, there was some dissension in ideology. Some members of the family considered Heihachi’s adoption into the family as a disgrace, while others would consider it a display of great honor. Influenced primarily by strength, the Sakamoto were a feared clan in Iron Country. Leaving the fate of the clan to a ‘nameless victim’ would spark continued debate throughout Heihachi’s childhood.
The pressure was likely at its peak when Gozen decided to accept a position offered to her in the still developing Kemurigakure no Sato. No doubt effected by the events of Lighting Country, the death of her friend the Taisho, and now the installation of an unknown leader, it was unclear what exactly spurned her to make the choice. The issue of slavery has a dark history on the continent, so the forced institution and subjugation of a population was no doubt met with its own opposition. She had no need to champion that cause. Despite her reasoning, it was with this offer of new employment that Heihachi noticed a new sense of purpose within his mother. There remained a handful of their extended family still stationed in the south of the country. With the world now stripped from peace, she often spoke of how she could once again taste the blood in the air. Heihachi’s most consistent memories of his mother before their relocation south was the amount of time she spent staring into the twilight. They were often red that season, and it was a rare delight that he witnessed her smile. What a beauty they were both to behold.
