Change: Gettin' my secret santa present reviewed and added to the character sheet.
Deceiver's Amulet:
A golden plated amulet comprised of square plates of gold which get progressively smaller the higher up on the clasp they become. The central plate is adorned with a circular amethyst gem. While wearing this amulet, Shiun radiates a mild aura of fear and intimidation, lowering the Willpower of anyone that is within 50 meters of her by 1 for as long as they remain within this area of effect.

Her lips are full and naturally darker than the rest of her skin, her nose wide but small. Like all Kinoko, her eyes are fully white with a lifeless look about them, seemingly lacking a pupil, yet the shape of her face does nothing but make her eyes glitter as she grins. Across the bridge of her nose and upper cheeks are dark lines, wrinkles of a sort that, while not looking anymore out of place than freckles at a distance, upon closer inspection, are, in fact, a sign of her developing fungal flesh in her face. Her hair is long, dark brown, braided and adorned with silver rings as decorations.
[color=#7A52A3][*][i]Body:[/i][/color] Shiun is large for her age, in more ways than one. Not just taller than average but over developed slightly in the chest and hip areas, much to her embarrassment when and if she takes a moment to think about it. Over all, though, she is quite slim and girlish with very little body fat, skinny limbs and a decent posture. 'Petite' would be an apt way to describe her.
[color=#7A52A3][*][i]Notable Features:[/i][/color] Like all Kinoko, Shiun has an impossible to hide, without the aid of jitsu of course, fungal growth emerging from her body. In her case it is a very obvious violet mushroom cap growing off of the top of her head. Large, both wide and tall, this purple cap is speckled with darker purple spots along the edges primarily and the gills are an even darker purple still. As of yet, this is the only fungal growth she has developed. [/list]
[color=#7A52A3][b]Clothing/Accessories:[/b][/color] Shiun wears a purple short dress, dyed and splotched to match her mushroom cap, with a deep V neck cut that does not cover her shoulders, has long sleeves that end in fingerless hand coverings, and goes down to just past her rear end. Beneath this dress she wears a pair of grey knee-length shorts adorned with pockets and a standard pair of Shinobi sandals. She wears a simple thong necklace that holds her samurai dog tag, reading her name on one side and "Gold" on the other, her country of origin. Around her waist she wears a belt which holds her butt bag and on her left hand she wears a certain ring that switches fingers as she sees fit...

[list][color=#7A52A3][*][i]General:[/i][/color] In a general sense, Shiun could be described as "a child" in personality. She's excitable, she's naive, ignorant of the world around her and how it functions, optimistic, cheerful. She'd rather believe in the best in people rather than automatically assume the worst, approaching others with an open mind and an open heart. Conversely, she's very much an opponent of injustice where she sees it. Be it mere bullying or something far more insidious, Shiun is steadfast and unafraid to speak and act out against such grievances to her fellow man. This is unfortunate for her because she often gets over zealous, says to much and puts her foot in her mouth, getting her in trouble more often than not and making her extremely embarrassed at her inability to read a room or situation and hold her opinions to herself until a more opportune moment.

Most unfortunate of all for her, though, is her suffering through a quite developed Imposter Syndrome. Shiun has an idea of what a ninja should and shouldn't be, molded by her ignorance and some very informative events during her younger years. The entire reason she became a samurai was to satisfy this Imposter Syndrome of hers, being the closest approximation of a ninja as she had access to, because she simultaneously believes it's what she wants to be and that she can never live up to her self imposed expectations of it, which is to say, being a ninja, not a samurai. No matter how much the reality of what being a "ninja" is, of which she learned during her time in the Pilot Program, she stubbornly holds on to her own personal idealized version of the trade and holds that as Truth. Despite any outward appearances, internally she is constantly doubting her course of action, and in her quiet, solitary moments, feels deep anxiety that she is not living up to what her potential and chosen career demands.
[color=#7A52A3][*][i]Hopes/Dreams:[/i][/color] To be as great of a kunoichi as her idol, Aimi Kagiya, was a shinobi.

Description:[/b] [url=https://i.imgur.com/zvOuwRp.png]The Musū is a spear which is 2.57 meters in length with a spearhead 0.29 meters long, made of a gold alloy primarily with intricate fuuinjutsu carvings all along the shaft of the spear, along the inside of the spear head, adorned with a red cloth flag and a mace-like counterweight pommel.[/url] Appearing mysteriously out of nowhere one morning, Shiun found it buried head first in the ground outside of her barracks one early morning as if waiting for her. When she took a hold of it, no one came for her, no one came to claim the spear as their own, and asking around for descriptions of such a weapon only produced puzzled looks or information which did not match the Musū. It is as if it materialized out of thin air for her specifically.

[b]Abilities:[/b] As far as abilities go Musū has two which make it stand out from other spears. The first is it's ability to transform into and from a gold ring at will, requiring only a small portion of chakra to do so, allowing the otherwise rather large spear to be transported around in an inconspicuous and unencumbering manner. The second is the ability to store within itself a number of identical copies of spears which can be withdrawn from it at will with only a small portion of chakra. These duplicates of Musū are unable to have chakra channeled into them in order to store other spears like the original nor to be transformed into a ring, meaning that only the original Musū possesses these abilities and thus can be identified by these capabilities. Furthermore, with the aid of a skilled enough crafstman, the fuuinjutsu inscribed on the spear shaft can be altered to allow for additional storage of spears. Currently Musū is capable of holding 8 spears within it. Both of these abilities require a D Rank's worth of chakra to activate.

Aside from these abilities and the seemingly stunning craftsmanship of the spear itself, Musū is an unremarkable spear, having no special durability beyond what a normal weapon of it's craftmanship would normally possess.[/spoiler]

These fungi and their spores can be utilized in a number of different ways with techniques of all sorts, making members of this clan highly versatile. Unless otherwise specified, mushrooms created through Kinoko techniques constantly produce spores from their gills. These spores are the basis of many Kinoko techniques, but have a weakness in that they are easily burned, washed off or blown away.

Kinoko clan members vary wildly in appearance depending on age, birth, and even their chosen specialization to some extent with older clan members having more of their body covered with larger and more diverse forms of fungi. As such, while each member share common traits of dark skin and pale, faded eyes the rest of their appearance can vary wildly, making it so that no two Kinoko share much commonality in how they look, their uniqueness only growing with time.
[spoiler=Fungal Growths]As of right now, Shiun's only notable fungal growth is the lilac cap growing on the top of her head. Despite this being the only growth she currently has, it is unusually large, dominating the top of her head and constantly eclipsing her in shade. The type of fungus which she grows is Laccaria Amethystina, or amethyst deceiver. In much the same way as wild example of this mushroom, the more dehydrated Shiun becomes the duller in color her cap becomes, gradually spreading out and flattening until, at peak dehydration, the cap inverts and folds in on itself, exposing the gills. This state will revert once she becomes hydrated again, but as it is, it is an easy way to tell how hydrated she is. [/spoiler][/quote][/b][c]

This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. Kinton functions as an element that can create, manipulate and modify gold specifically, as well as coat and turn things into gold, making it a flashy and lucrative element to be sure. Kinton has a [b]weighing[/b] passive that causes it to cling to things and rapidly increase their weight, causing them to slow down, in the case of objects which can move on their own, or requiring greater Strength to lift, in the case of those that cannot. When a Kinton jutsu comes into contact with something, it clings to it, causing an increase in weight in pounds equivalent to 1/2 the Strength of the jutsu for each time contact was made and/or each post contact remains constant.[/spoiler][/quote][/spoiler]

[b][color=gold]Guanyin Bodhisattva[/color][/b] release is a union of both ninpou and taijutsu and as such occupy places in both pyramids. [b][color=gold]Guanyin Bodhisattva[/color][/b] release allows the user to not only perform these jutsu but to do so without the use of handseals, replacing this instead with a very specific set of movements done with the arms and the hands to initiate each and every jutsu related to this release. Rather than being triggered from more traditional forms of sensory input, a target must have an understanding of the imbedded concept for the genjutsu to trigger. Moreover, imbedded concepts need to be actively thought about in order for the illusion to take hold. This means that someone who is caught within a Concept Genjutsu could potentially go for extremely long periods of time without it activating, and that the methods of activation are potentially diverse and myriad, for once a target understands the imbedded concept they need only think about it to trigger the activation - regardless of how the thought occurs.

Despite Concept Genjutsu being initiated by thoughts, they must still be implanted via other Genjutsu Initiators. This means that, in order to plant a Concept Genjutsu onto a target, the user must utilize one of the other initiators at their disposal (Touch, Sight, Sound, etc.). Concept Genjutsu have an extremely long potential delay period before they activate, a maximum of 10 posts. If the Genjutsu is not initiated in that time, it does not and cannot be activated afterwards, and the user will need to reinitiate a Concept Genjutsu on their target. Triggered by 'thought', merely thinking of a word is not enough to activate a Concept Genjutsu. A target must have an understanding of the concept and think of that concept, conjuring up a visual (if applicable), audible indicator (if applicable) or some other mental process which constitutes an actual thought on the Concept at hand. In other words, they need to be able to both understand and imagine the concept in some form or another.

The user gathers chakra throughout their body before releasing a thick cloud of spores that cover an area equal to the user's [Control] stat in meters. Inhaling these spores is comparable to inhaling smoke or ash and can cause heavy, labored coughing to anyone caught within it unexpectedly. The cloud lasts for two posts or until cleared by some means such as a fuuton technique. These mushrooms and spores can be used for other jutsu.

The user gathers chakra and sends it to a point within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters at a Speed of [Control]. From this point mushrooms grow at a Speed of [Control], covering an area of 1 meter in diameter. These mushrooms have a Strength of [Control] and are constantly creating spores. These mushrooms and spores can be used for other jutsu. The user cannot make these mushrooms grow on metal, stone, concrete or similar materials.

The user gathers chakra and sends it to a point within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters at a Speed of [Control]. From this point a single, large mushroom, the cap roughly three feet in diameter with a sturdy, one foot tall stem will sprout. This mushroom sprouts with [Control] Speed and Strength and is constantly creating spores. This msuhroom and it's spores can be used for other jutsu. This mushroom is springy and elastic and can be jumped on to propel the user in any direction with +3 Speed while airborne. This mushroom is capable of propelling individuals or objects up to 10 meters.

The user gathers chakra and sends it to an existing fungus within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters from them. From then on, up to 3 posts, the user can see through this fungus as if it were their own eyes allowing them to see whatever is within the immediate area, able to see as far as their eyes normally would without the aid of other enhancing techniques.

The user gathers chakra and sends it to an existing fungus within a number of meters equal to their Control stat in meters from them. From then on, up to 3 posts, the user can hear through this fungus as if it were their own ears allowing them to hear whatever is within the immediate area, able to hear as far as 5 meters away from the fungus.

Prerequisite: 10 Endurance
The user gathers Mycorrhiza and creates a thick, white mushroom from their body. Upon consumption of this mushroom, the body will begin to heal itself in a regenerative fashion. The rate of regeneration depends on the user's Control stat, as specified by the standard regeneration table. This mushroom is only capable of healing Moderate wounds and lesser.[/spoiler]

When real latex equipment is not on hand, the user will perform a single hand seal and will focus chakra onto their hands, nose, and mouth to form a thin layer of chakra around them at [Control] Speed and Strength. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to stimulate it as if it was manually receiving CPR.

Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

Wounds covered by this jutsu not only are safeguarded against bacteria but also applied an antiseptic and burn ointment to further provide aid.[/quote]

This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

The user will channel their chakra and then make a small incision on the patient before placing their hands over the new wound. Once extracted, the liquid poison will be suspended in the containment orb. Their chakra then mutates the poison at [Control] speed and rearranges it into an antidote. This antidote is effective on C-rank or lower poisons and induces immunity to the specific poison the patient was ailed with for 7 posts.

This particularly disturbing technique is typically utilized by medical-nin operating covertly. After obtaining a dead body, the user will channel chakra into the deepest layer of skin to carefully remove the facial skin from the underlying tissue. Once this has been done, the user will focus their chakra into the separated skin before applying it to his/her face. As this chakra makes contact with the user's skin, the skin cells will bond, creating a seamless mask. This new face remains stable for up to three (3) threads before it will begin to rot.

The user must make small incisions into the patient and donors' bodies to open a vein. Once the vein has been opened, the user will begin to channel chakra into the donor and the patient at [Control] Speed. The patient's blood pressure will increase and stabilize itself while the donors blood pressure will decrease due to the transfer of blood. No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without repercussions such as fainting, loss of sensation, anemia, and death. In the event a donor is not available, the user may act as the donor. This also acts to allow the donor and patient to be a synthetic match so as to not send the patient into shock. This technique does not transfer KKG permanent or otherwise to the patient.

This jutsu may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

The elbow can be aimed anywhere on the torso and above, but is usually aimed at the target's face.

The practitioner will sidestep a weapon attack against them and attempt to disarm the opponent. If the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique, they can resist being disarmed. Otherwise, the weapon is ripped from the opponent's grasp and their hand is knocked away. Their wrist will swell from the impact, making handling weapons in that hand difficult if the wrist isn't outright broken due to the practitioner having a higher Strength than the opponent.

If they didn't see the weapon being launched, they can still predict the trajectory to a smaller degree but are incapable of accounting for high-level taijutsu that may be applied to the weapon attack.

This is the core technique of the Kushou Style. The user will begin in the Low Wind Rising stance and then approaches their opponent. Following this they will spin their polearm and their body as they follow their opponent across the battlefield, chasing them down as they block and evade. This technique takes the user’s entire post, and can strike a number of times equal to half their speed. Those who block more than one blow will suffer a -3 to Strength for 3 posts as the weapon’s momentum and force jars their body.

The user is capable of performing up to three strikes in the air, each of them prolonging the user’s airtime. The Swallow Rides the Wind is useful as it maintains the advantageous high ground and all of the forward momentum toward the opponent throughout all of its blows, giving the user an effective +6 Strength and -6 Control for the three blows.

High Tension
C-Ranked Stance Taijutsu
High Tension stance allows a user to rely on speed, deftness, and perception through heightened sensory input to be quicker to the draw in every way, breaking a standstill and tipping the odds in one's favor. In this stance the practitioner has their shoulders squared back with their hands at their holsters, allowing them to quickly draw and fire with precision. Their stance balance's their weight on the balls of their feet, allowing their legs to use their natural spring to move one explosive fast movement. But above all, through great training stance unlocks a heightened sensory input allowing them to more quickly react, to the point of almost appearing to "preact". This stance grants a +5 in speed, but a -5 in strength.

The practitioner has learned how to accurately launch projectiles while moving through the flow of combat: whether jumping, rolling, airborne, sliding, or doing other basic combat movements at full speed, they are capable of hitting their mark.

The practitioner has trained such a deftness to their draws that they are now capable of drawing multiple projectiles and more impressively, launching them in a tight spread, capable of putting multiple projectiles into a small bullseye at the same instance.

This Stance has two positions to it, Resting and Active. To assume this Stance while Resting, the user need only to hold their polearm down at their side, their body and stance relaxed, but, importantly, their hand must be at least halfway down the shaft of the weapon, ideally two thirds down, with the hand holding the shaft in the reverse position. While Resting, the user is primed to enter the Active portion of this Stance at any time. To assume this Stance while Active, the user must square up their legs and hips, extending one out in front of them while simultaneously angling their polearm in an upwards angle with their arm raised and held backwards, primed to throw. These differences, Resting and Active, are merely transitory states meant to go from one to the other and back again as needed. While in this Stance, the distance which the user may throw their polearm is doubled.

By launching two projectiles, one immediately after the other, the practitioner attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size, and the second projectile is slightly behind and below it, the second projectile hiding in the first projectile's shadow. This masks the second projectile and makes it more difficult for the opponent to completely avoid. Opponents with a Perception technique equal or higher in rank may be able to see both projectiles clearly within a reasonable distance, though they'll still have to properly defend against it.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Preparing a projectile, the practitioner launches the weapon with a slight tailspin, causing the flight path of the weapon to warp as it travels. The practitioner uses this slight change in the projectile's trajectory to hit a variety of targets that could not be targeted by normal means. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, particularly useful against opponents behind human shields.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Momentarily crouching, the practitioner launches one or more projectiles in a low arc, the weapon(s) flying close to the ground before arcing up in a single direction when approaching the target. If the practitioner launches more than one projectile, their trajectories can cross over each other, making it difficult for the opponent to ascertain which projectile will rise up to strike them first.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner is able to launch projectiles from previously impossible positions. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to launch projectile attacks without any detriment to their aim regardless of the position of their body. This includes while contorting their body or making rapid adjustments such as dodging attacks or performing acrobatic maneuvers.[/spoiler][spoiler=Drunken Fist]Drunken Fist is a taijutsu style which, contrary to it's name, is not actually about fighting while inebriated. While it is certainly possible to, and in fact common place and even beneficial to, use this taijutsu style while under the influence of alcohol, the true method of of this style is to instead mimic the movements and mannerisms of one that is drunk. Doing so makes the user extremely unpredictable, mobile and able to take advantage of unorthodox movements and positions that other styles would be entirely incapable of even thinking of making use of.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
An unorthodox and seemingly counterintuitive stance, the user enters this stance by simply laying down on the ground on their side, using one arm to prop their head up while bending one knee to be pointed upwards as if relaxing to take a nap. This stance, while unusual, is remarkably sturdy and meant for a ground based assault against unsuspecting foes and is also remarkably easy to assume at a moment's notice either at will or as a way to take advantage of being knocked off of one's feet. Assuming this stance makes the user's movements harder to follow and predict while also increasing the user's Speed by 3 and reducing their Strength by 3 for as long as they maintain this stance.

[color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Hooking the Carp[/b][/color]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will wait for an opponent to come in close before suddenly lashing out with their legs. Using whichever leg is closest to the opponent, the user will hook their foot around the heel and ankle of their opponent's closest leg, holding it in place, while the other leg raises up to strike at the back or side of the knee of user's leg of choice, delivering a potentially crippling blow that can reduce the opponent's Speed for the remainder of the thread depending on the severity of the injury.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Must have some form of alcohol to consume
The user takes their container of alcohol and brings it to their lips, tilting it upwards and taking a shot's worth of a drink. Imbibing alcohol like this increases the user's Endurance by 3 for 3 posts as the alcohol dulls the user's sense of pain, making them seem tougher than they actually are.

D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The basic and default stance of all Drunken Fist, the user enters this stance by holding their arms out in front of them, one arm extended out further than the other while the opposite is kept closer and curled inwards towards the body with both hands further curled inwards, pinkie and ring fingers curled against their palms while the thumb, index and middle fingers are held out so as to mimic the gesture of holding a sake cup. Simultaneously, the user will sway and tilt from side to side and in circles in an erratic and unpredictable fashion while the legs are held in a position that seems counterintuitive, with one leg forward but both feet angled inwards. Assuming this stance makes the user's movements harder to follow and predict while also increasing the user's Speed by 2 and reducing their Strength by 2 for as long as they maintain this stance.

[color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Get Your Own Drink![/b][/color]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The user makes full use of their ability to use unorthodox, sudden and unpredictable movements to snap their body to and fro, arms and legs, torso and head swiveling around obstacles as needed to get around objects or parts of the opponent's body in order to keep away or otherwise avoid an object within the user's hand, to get at and take something from an opponent's hands or otherwise create openings for strikes that come from unusual angles and positions.

C-Rank Taijutsu Stance

A variation of [color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Afternoon Nap[/b][/color], the user assumes this stance by laying flat on their back, arms and legs splayed, eyes closed and breathing heavily as if they were in a deep sleep. While in this stance, the user's senses, other than sight, are enhanced, giving them the uncanny ability to be aware of their surroundings despite their relaxed and seemingly nonchalant pose. Assuming this stance makes the user's movements harder to follow and predict while also increasing the user's Speed by 6 and reducing their Strength by 6 for as long as they maintain this stance.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
[i]Prerequisite:[/i] Must be in either the [color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Afternoon Nap[/b][/color] or [color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Don't Wake the Baby[/b][/color] stances
While laying in the [color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Afternoon Nap[/b][/color] or [color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Don't Wake the Baby[/b][/color] stance, the user will roll, toss and turn in order to avoid attacks coming from the opponent, utilizing as little movement as possible to achieve this feat. This gives the appearance of the user miraculously dodging blows in their sleep with the reality being that the user is executing controlled, calculated movements to most efficiently dodge what is coming their way, whatever that may be.

[color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Dragon Dislikes Your Sake[/b][/color]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
[i]Prerequisite:[/i] Must have some form of liquid to consume
The user takes a drink of whatever liquid is available, but rather than swallowing they instead hold it in their mouth without bulging their cheeks. This can then be held indefinitely until the right moment. When that moment comes, the user will spit the liquid in their mouth into the opponent's face in a harsh spray, temporarily blinding the opponent as either some of the liquid gets in their eyes or the opponent reflexively closes their eyes against their will.

[color=#A94007][b]Drunken Fist • Limp as a Noodle[/b][/color]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Despite the inherent simplicity of this Maneuver in concept, the actual execution of it is quite difficult and challenging to implement in the heat of combat. Using this Maneuver the user may go limp all at once, their body's musculature relaxing completely as they relinquish all semblance of remaining sturdy and upright. With enough practice this can be achieved at will, making it so that the user can "play dead" at a moment's notice, let their entire body weight fall all at once or otherwise suddenly relax. This Maneuver not only makes the user all the more unpredictable in their movements as they transition from one maneuver or stance to another but also lessens the impact of oncoming blows, reducing the Strength of such impacts by 5 as they make contact with the user.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

After the appropriate hand seals, if the user successfully makes contact with someone this will deliver the chakra of his Genjutsu triggering it and causing to see them burst out of the front of their body and take off running, poofing into thin air after running 5 meters.

D-Ranked Illusion
To use this technique the user must not be affected by any genjutsu. After the required hand seals, the user will say “genjutsu” at a volume of their choosing. If the target hears this, they will hear the user’s voice calmly explaining “you are in a genjutsu, please use kai” on loop for 4 posts.

Ragnarok
D-rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user will channel chakra then speak aloud, anyone who hears his voice will see the sky slowly begin to turn red, and remain that way for 10 posts. This does not change visibility in any way.

Fertile Flesh (Scent)
D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user performs the handseals and targets an individual that is within the user's Control in meters of them which can smell either fungi or fungal spores. Smelling these scents activates the genjutsu. Upon activation, the target will see mushrooms sprouting out of their body all over rapidly. This genjutsu lasts for 3 posts.

Fertile Flesh (Touch)
D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user performs the handseals and targets an individual that is within the user's Control in meters of them which has made contact with fungus spores. Touching these spores activates the genjutsu. Upon activation, the target will see mushrooms sprouting out of their body all over rapidly. This genjutsu lasts for 3 posts.

Slightly Left of Center
D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user performs the handseals and says "you can't touch me". Anyone who hears this boast will be caught in the genjutsu. Once initiated, this genjutsu creates the illusion of the user being one meter to the left of their actual position while the user themselves are, effectively, invisible. This genjutsu lasts for 3 posts.

Prestidigitation
D-Rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user performs the handseals and says "watch out". Anyone who hears this phrase will be caught in the genjutsu. Once initiated, this genjutsu lets the user make small visual changes to people or objects, such as changing colors, a container appearing to be open, small wounds being closed, etc. This genjutsu lasts for 3 posts.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Status Genjutsu][b][color=#CDC1C5][Genjutsu • Empty Inside][/color][/b]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
After the required hand seals, the user will make contact with someone triggering the Genjutsu. For the next 5 posts, the effected won't really have much of a feel for what's going on inside their body, everything feeling dull. Any kind of damage at all, in any amount, will break this genjutsu.

Savior
C-rank Status Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then speak aloud. Anyone who hears his voice will have a sudden sensation that the user is a being of great power. The genjutsu immediately ends after this, leaving most people with a lingering sensation and no explanation for it.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Warp Genjutsu]Focus
C-rank Warp Genjutsu
Doing a series of hand seals, the user will speak aloud mentioning in his speech an object. The target will feel an intense draw towards whatever the focus of the desire is. This draw will also cause a sort of tunnel vision in the target’s sight, causing a blurring of their peripherals and making it hard to focus on anything but the target.This lasts for up to 5 posts.

All That Glitters
C-Rank Warp Genjutsu
Prerequisite: Kinton Release
The user performs the handseals and causes one or more pieces of gold to make a sound (IE toss coins, tap a mass of gold, etc.) Anyone who hears the chime of gold is caught within this genjutsu. Upon activating, any gold within the area appears to glitter and shine more brilliantly, standing out more, becoming more appealing to the eye and overall more distracting. Additionally, this genjutsu makes individuals caught in it feel more covetous of gold, to the point where an individual may stop whatever they're doing to collect as much of it as they can. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts.

Touch of God
B-rank Warp Genjutsu
The user will channel chakra to perform this technique, then reach to touch a person. The contact will initiate this genjutsu, causing any pain they’re experiencing to begin to subside over the course of 5 posts and they will see any wounds they have slowly start to close (though they won’t actually). On the 5th post before the genjutsu ends, all their wounds will appear to rip back open and the pain will quickly return to them.[/spoiler]

[center][color=#7A52A3][b][big]History[/big][/b][/color][/center][spoiler=Historical Accounts]The life of Shiun Kinoko began the way it did for most Kinoko for many generations. She was born in a tiny, isolated village in the north of what was once the Land of Plains and Sea and spent the first few years of her life doing what all infants do - growing, being taken care of. It wasn't until sometime between her fourth and fifth birthday that something would happen that would reshape her entire future and give her a formative experience that would alter the entire course of her life:

Aimi Kaguya united the Kinoko.

While she was alive during this historical time, she scarecely remembers the details of the entire affair. She recalls only that, one day, word was brought to her village of a man that was bringing all of the Kinoko together for a purpose she did not understand. When her slice of the Kinoko clan met up with the others it was close to the end of this initial unification campaign, and atop the shoulders of an older clan member she saw their savior for the first and only time. The encounter could hardly be called one at all, Aimi Kaguya standing in the middle of a throng of Kinoko and speaking to them all collectively. About what she could not have understood then and does not remember now, but she remembers his pale skin, his golden hair, how different he looked compared to all of them, and the promise of peace with their aggressive neighbors at last. She remembers meeting his eyes for a moment before he looked away to someone else. She remembered asking one of her elders who he was and what he was doing there, being told that the man was a Ninja from a far off land and that he was there to bring them together and teach them the ways of chakra so that they could defend themselves.

Then Aimi Kaguya was gone from her life, never to be seen again, but his influence remained. Though she never experienced it first hand the efforts of Aimi Kaguya during the war that engulfed the world saw an unprecedented time of prosperity for her people as their talents were utilized to help further unite others. She grew up hearing stories of Aimi Kaguya's conquests and how he brought more people under his wing to make everyone else stronger. She gained an idea during this time of what it meant to be a Ninja - powerful, benevolent, a uniter of people under a common cause, a seemingly unstoppable force of nature personified in a career, and she wanted nothing more than to be one, too.

How devastated Shiun was when word of his death reached her people. There was a time of mourning among the Kinoko as a whole as their unifier and savior passed from this world in some distant land. Being the first clan of people that Aimi Kaguya brought together, the loss was especially hard for them. Even more devastating was it to learn that the country he had formed, once the Land of Plain and Sea turned Gold Country, was conquered and rechristened the Heart Empire. To Shiun this felt like the death of her idol all over again, the erasure of what he had fought for. As time passed and word traveled these feelings were only compounded when she learned that their conquerors were samurai and not Ninja!

With time the pain passed and as Shiun grew she become resolute to emulate her perceived idol to the best of her ability. Her decision to become a samurai for the Heart Empire came around the age of eight when she learned through the grapevine that the samurai were not only accepting locals as new recruits but that they were offering to teach the arts of ninjutsu to those who were interested as well as their training as samurai! As the Kinoko are encouraged to travel the world and interact with others while still young it took little convincing of her elders to gain their blessing to journey to Xincha and join the Doushikai academy, joining a caravan that would take her there eventually.

Once in Xincha she was quick to join the academy and, once in, her illusions on what it would be like were shattered. No matter what thoughts she had imagined on what training would be like and how similar it might have been for her idol, the reality was nothing like what was in her mind. This division between expectation and reality would be the start of her Imposter Syndrome developing. Never the less, she generally did well at the academy, excelling most in her potential at genjutsu but showing decent potential at just about everything and earning the favor of some of her teachers, even if she inwardly did not feel she deserved such praise. By the time she worked her way through the Doushikai Academy and was ready to be deployed she was 11 years old and had been preemptively selected for an exchange program that would see her sent out and trained along with other samurai and, excitingly for Shiun, ninja from other lands![/spoiler][hr]
