Physical Features: Kinomichi stands tall at six feet four inches with a chiseled physique. Covering his entire body, from his feet to the top of his neck, are hard red scales. These scales are a side effect from the experiments he suffered underneath his father. The scales are a dark ruby; Kinomichi covers his entire body with bandages to hide the scales from public view. His once onyx-colored eyes have also been altered by the Kirin's DNA, becoming lime green in color with bar-shaped pupils similar to a horse; thankfully the alteration has had no effect on his Sharingan. Over his bandages he wears a dark turquoise and burnt rust orange long-sleeved shirt kept open at the torso. He wears dark forest green pants kept up through the help of a light brown rope-belt and tucked into black combat boots. Two supply pouches are connected to the back of the belt as well.

Personality: As a genin, Kinomichi was a very sociable and exuberant teen. Loud and rambunctious, Kinomichi either drew people towards him or pushed them away with his personality. This personality continued on until Kinomichi was used as a test subject in his father's research causing his personality to perform a 180° switch. Now, Kinomichi is a very aloof person. He prefers not to talk unless required and instead uses his face and body language as means of conveying what he feels. Although quiet, he is a staunch patriot of Iwagakure no Sato and devotes himself to its current and continued protection. Usually quiet, the man turns into a fierce fighter when needed. To compare Kinomichi to a smoldering ember would be apt; suppressed and concealed but able to turn into a raging inferno at a moment's notice.

First Ability
Curse of the Kirin:
Kinomichi has undergone surgery and experimentation at the hands of his father. The man summoned, trapped, and killed a Kirin spirit within his facility wherein he infused the DNA of the beast with his own son. This fusion has resulted in Kinomichi growing scales over the majority of his body, his eyes changing appearance, his senses becoming enhanced, control-based regeneration, and emitting harmless ambient Katon chakra in a radius from his body of [Control/5] meters. The chakra emitting itself from his body is harmless and invisible unless used through ninjutsu wherein the chakra becomes visible and can be used for offense, defense, or support. Once a jutsu using his ambient chakra is broken or finished, the chakra returns to its inert, harmless state.These scales have a durability of Kinomichi's [Strength+Stamina]/2 and provide an immunity to naturally occurring fire while yielding no protection to chakra-produced flames.

As the stages grow so does the buff and enhancements the Shōgō-zumi gives. With the Shōgō-zumi based off the mastery stat so is its duration. This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any ninjutsu that is designed to be channel, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method. To get this concentration the user must be a Ninjutsu Specialist, and have picked Control as one of their specialized stats.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.

Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own.

Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from katon jutsu is determined by the strength of the technique

Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

Specialization
Ninjutsu: Elemental Specialist Having devoted their lives to mastering the Elemental affinities, this shinobi is classified as an Elemental Ninjutsu Specialist. Elemental specialist are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to elemental concentrations, unlike most people who are capped at 8. The user is not able to access any specializations that are marked for Ninjutsu Specialist, but instead, can now pick up concentrations marked for Elemental Specialists. Additionally, their two additional concentrations MUST be used for elements. They cannot use them for ninpou styles. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to Taijutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to Genjutsu.

As a Ninjutsu Specialist, Kinomichi is able to utilize Ninjutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, but cannot utilize non-elemental ninjutsu specializations. Additionally they are able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats are [Ninjutsu], [Speed], [Control], and [Stamina].

After performing the correct hand seals the user will exhale a small jet of flame directly in front of them. The ball lights up the surrounding area in a 5 meter radius and has a durability of 5. Unless destroyed, it will stay locked in it's location for 5 posts before fading.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a cone that is up to five meters long and three meters wide at it's base. The cone travels at a speed of 6 and pushes with a strength of 4.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a copy of themselves out of katon chakra. By channeling katon chakra into a metal weapon or blade, the user will cause it to grow hotter and cover the blade in flames. The imbued weapon will be able to carve through defenses of 5 or less strength with ease.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will puff their chest before spitting out a torrent of 15 individual fireballs, each 2 centimeter diameter. The fireballs are shot for up to 10 meters away at a speed of 9 and a strength of 1.

By channeling katon chakra into their body, the user will release a burst of flame around their entire body, coming outwards from them. This sphere of roiling fire pushes outward with 10 speed and impacts whatever it touches with 10 strength, the sphere extending roughly 3 meters in radius from the user's body.

By channeling katon chakra into any item, the user will turn it into a ticking time bomb. Either when 3 posts are up or when activated through the use of Chakra Kai, the object will explode, releasing all the katon chakra in it in a C-Rank explosion and scattering flames in the immediate area.

After channeling the needed chakra, the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling a thin, 8-inch diameter stream of flames up to 20 meters away at a speed of 20. Either at 20 meters, or if the stream makes impact with anything, the stream will erupt into a spherical B-Rank explosion, scattering flames all over everything within a 10 meter radius from the point of impact.

After channeling the needed chakra the user exhales a ring of fire up to 20 meters away at a speed of 20. On impact the ring immediately erupts outwards and upwards as it's dancing flames form a dome with a 5 meter diameter and a 3 meter pitch. The dome is held together at a strength of 20 for 4 posts before falling apart into wild flames.

Katon • Flame Lash
B-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra the user breathes out gently and sends a wire-thin line of flames at a target. The line can travel up to 20 meters from the user at a speed of 20. If it connects to a target, their body will be assaulted with 20 Strength flames, igniting them and whatever they happen to be wearing in a searing inferno of flames.

[Shroud of the Kirin]

Kinomichi will channel the needed chakra and begin materializing the ambient Katon chakra which flows from him naturally into a condensed 3-inch cloak of Katon chakra that sits above his clothing at a speed of 15. The jutsu surrounds Kinomichi in a cloak of Katon chakra which looks as if he is encased in an aura of flames. The flames of the shroud are emitted outwards at 25 Strength and are strong enough to produce third degree burns. While in this jutsu, Kinomichi can perform other jutsu. The cloak lasts for 5 posts.

B-rank Ninjutsu
The user channels the needed chakra and forms an aura of fire around their body. The user is then able to expel the gathered chakra in a shockwave with 25 strength and 15 speed while applying the Katon passive in a diameter of 20 meters with the epicenter being the user.

[Orb Strike]
B-Rank Ninjutsu
The user channel the needed chakra and gather chakra in the palms of their hands to form two separate orbs of Katon chakra. These orbs are thrown by the user and after reaching a max distance of 30 meters or making contact with something each orb will explode with 10 Strength and apply the Katon passive. They last for 5 posts or until launched.

Kinomichi will channel the needed chakra and begin materializing the ambient Katon chakra which flows from him naturally into a condensed 6-inch cloak at a speed of 15. Katon • Izanagi's Spear

After channeling the needed chakra the user will form a condensed 5cm diameter, 3 meter long spear of fire in their hand then throw it at an opponent. At any time during the course of the spear's travel, the user may use Chakra Kai to activate the spear. This causes the spear to rapidly unwind and expand into a 10 meter long, 7 meter diameter whirlwind of fire at a speed of 25. On impact, the spear will then explode at A-Rank strength.

Katon • Supernova

Prerequisite: *Katon • Burning Entrapment
After channeling the needed chakra, the user will cause an existing instance of their Katon • Burning Entrapment technique to collapse in at a force of 25, crushing and forcing the flames upon whatever is trapped.

A-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra, the user will create a copy of themselves out of Katon chakra. The clone will be able to move with the stats labelled below, while also exploding at 20 Strength upon death into a burst of flames that can apply the Katon passive. The clone will only last for 3 posts.

[Katon • Shuriken Clone]
A-Rank Ninjutsu
The user channel the needed chakra and then take hold of a shuriken. The user will throw the shuriken and upon kai'ing the projectile, it will rapidly duplicate until it forms a densely packed 25 meter diameter cloud of that object, made completely of Katon. The cloned projectiles will propel forward from the origin shuriken at a speed of 25 and strength of 25 while applying the Katon passive.

The Fukusha will pair their feet in an L stance, and have a casual movement to them despite their mind being on edge. This stance is typically used to lull opponents into thinking the user is relaxed as their feet are paired shoulder width apart, and knees slightly bent for immediate leverage when needed. While moving the user will typically keep their body on edge as if to react out of instinct to dodge, parry, or block any incoming attacks. In this stance the user's keep their torso up straight.

When the user is fighting upclose and personal, they will waive their off hand in the face of their opponent as a distraction while their other hand will perform an underhanded palm strike to the chest. This strike aims to wind them with a blow to the sternum which can create useful openings.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will intercept an incoming strike aimed for them, and divert it to the side opposite of the hand they're using to divert. As they attempt to move the opponent around them they will raise their arm on the side they're directing the opponent, and jab a strong elbow to that person's head as an attempt to disorient or land a sturdy face blow. While rudimentary it is still a strong strike as its compatible with most incoming attacks of the physical nature.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When fighting in close quarters with an opponent, the user will jut an open palm strike at their opponent's nose attempting to disorient the target before spinning quickly on their back heel as they raise their opposite leg high in the air. They will aim to strike and cradle their opponent's head down towards the ground. This move can prove fruitful for creating a wide opening on an opponent as its goal is to disorient, and then bring their opponent's down onto the ground with a strong kick.

When moving into an enemies close quarters range, the user will aim to throw their opponent's defensive stance upwards with their free hand as they aim with their opposite elbow jutting it into their opponent's ribcage to knock them down into the ground. This move can be useful when attempting to close the gap and prevent an enemy from fleeing after forcing them into close quarters combat.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
As an opponent comes in for a strike, the user will intercept the attack with their free arm, and tuck it underneath their own arm around their back as they pull their opponent closer. When the user pulls the opponent in they'll usher a chop to the opponent's neck to cause them to gag and stun them. After stunning their opponent the user will then force the opponent down into the ground forcing their arm behind their back in a lock.

As the user comes in for a strike, they'll throw a sweeping hook, and turn with the inertia slinging out their other hand to backhand their opponent as they spin around. As they come to face their opponent once more, they'll throw a straight kick into the opponents chest in an attempt to knock them down or back far.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
As an opponent swings in with a weapon, the user will side step the attack as they step in quickly to hold the weapon down on its safe end, and batter at the opponent's hand attempting to twist and rip the weapon away from the opponent. As the user rips the weapon away they'll then transition from battering the opponent's hands into an elbow to the opponent's face.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user who practices this discipline is skilled in seeing where weapons and projectiles are being thrown from to be able to deduce the general direction they are coming from. With this discipline, someone attempting to launch attacks from the shadows will reveal their position as the user traces the projectile back to the opponent in the shadows.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A user practiced in this discipline is keen on small details. They are able to tell when things have been disturbed, pick up on little patterns, and are able to deduce an opponent's skill set with a bit of observation. This allows the user to pick up on an opponent's style, patterns, and details as long as the user's [Taijutsu+Instinct]/2 is higher than the opponent's [Taijutsu+Speed]/2. The user can also use this jutsu for detecting things wrong in an area, or if things have been moved or disturbed.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The user of this discipline can keep up with multiple targets at once. With their eyes working double time, they're able to keep up with as many targets as their eyes can keep up with. The user is able to keep up with [Instinct]/4 targets at once.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisites: 35 Strength
As the user forms an X across their chest, they'll immediately swing their arms downward creating a blast of air in the form of an X that reaches out up to [Taijutsu]/2 in meters range. That strike and move at the user's [Strength]/2. This X formation of air grows to be 5m large in size striking that area as it moves forward.

History

Fukusha, Kinomichi was delivered by one of the Fukusha midwives in the wastes of Rock Country within one of the many hideouts devised by his clan. His mother’s body was unable to handle the stress put on it through his birth and died as a result. She had always been a weak woman with a frail body and susceptible to illness. His father, a scientist within the clan, was forced to raise the boy alone.

As a child, Kinomichi was bounced around various babysitters while his father spent hours, if not days, at his laboratory located deep within the hideouts of the clan. Often handed off to extended family members of the Fukusha, Kinomichi was taught how to be a ninja by his clan. Kinomichi lthough during this time period his body followed a similar path to his mother. The boy would frequently catch colds or become winded quicker than the other children.

Kinomichi took countermeasures for his frail body. Through his father’s connections the boy was able to take medication to mitigate the affects on his body into minor issues. The boy’s time was filled with low ranked missions taken with friends from the clan until finally Iwagakure and the clan were at blows.

Around this time, Kinomichi had not realized it but his father’s work began to move into questionable practices. One day upon visiting the laboratory he had his drink drugged and was moved into a prep room. He had been stripped of his normal clothing and had it replaced with a hospital gown and then heavily strapped down to a bed. Kinomichi was awoken from his predicament by the death throes of a Kirin spirit. On the far side of the room, his father had multitudes of fuuinjutsu carved into the wall where he had proceeded to summon a Kirin spirit from its realm. The Kirin looked like a dragon shaped like a deer with the tail of an ox and a backwards curving horn and covered in dark ruby red scales. Once fully through and in the human world, his father slaughtered the spirit and extracted its DNA. The boy struggled to no avail against his bindings before his father began to splice the DNA of the Kirin into his body. Kinomichi fainted from the ordeal and only came to as a team of Fukusha busted into the lab and arrested the man.

Kinomichi was wrapped in a towel and taken to be looked over. There his body became accustomed to the new DNA of the Kirin; dark ruby scales began to cover his body and ambient Katon chakra began to leak from him. Further experimentation with the ability revealed Kinomichi had also received the Kirin’s regenerative properties which had cured the frailness of his body. The boy was placed on leave from his duties as he overcame the trauma of being his own father’s lab experiment and the subsequent changes to his body.

Over a course of years, the clan became integrated into Iwagakure no Sato and Kinomichi joined their ranks to return to being an active combatant. From there on Kinomichi made use of his Curse and ascended the ranks until reaching the rank of Jounin.
