Jigane towers above most people, even other shinobi, a fact that has lead to him intimidating many. This combined with the fact that his muscles are equally huge and that he is covered in scars tends to make people fear him upon site, believing that getting on his bad side means getting a sword shoved through their chest. His hair is a pitch black mess, Jigane never putting effort into taking care of it. His eyes are also as black as coal, a fact that has earned him the title "soulless".

Jigane's outfit of choice doesn't help, one that clearly shows every scar and every cut he's ever gained. He has no shirt, wears only black shorts, and barely wears sandals. This lets anyone with working eyes have a front row seat to the horrors his body has been subjected to.

Personality:
  • General:
    Jigane is a silent and unsociable person. He tends to not speak unless spoken to, only occasionally speaking to give a sarcastic remark. Jigane would much rather sit on the side and watch, rather than participate in events. This allows him to see more than most, but at the same time leads to him being detached from others. This is done not out of being hurt or afraid, but merely a lack of interest in socialization. Jigane also doesn't seem to have a varying amount of reactions, his reactions to even the worst of events often being the same as him getting a cold cup of coffee. He just doesn't change his face away from stoic indifference at any time, and though he may state things with investment, his face won't show it. More often than not do to this and his lack of openly speaking, most of his communications are given through subtle movements, and rarely are his thoughts outright stated, by him at least.

    Jigane is also very...basic in his fighting style. All he needs to do is know who or what he is attacking. Not why, not their abilities, or even anything that doesn't have to do with exactly where they stand. On top of that, Jigane is obedient in combat. Just point him at the enemy and he will attack, no questions asked.

    Despite this, Jigane is not a brute as many think. More often than not he is absorbing information from the world around him at a faster pace than most. Do to the fact that he is detached to the situation most of the time, this tends to lead him to making the most logical decisions based on which has the most benefits. Once one gets close, and if they learn to read his personality, they will find he has a dry sense of humor in most situations, his reactions verbal or other wise tending to be the same regardless of situation.

  • Combat Mentality: Jigane's thought process isn't the most complex in combat. He acts mostly on instinct, though this instinct does lay out plans and some times back up plans and tricks, don't expect anything overly complicated. As far as Jigane is concerned, all he needs to know is a vague assessment of his target's abilities and their location, then he just has to pelt them with senbon shuriken and kunai.

Taijutsu SpecialistShow
Taijutsu Specialist
Having devoted their lives to mastering the art of taijutsu, this shinobi is classified as a Taijutsu Specialist. Taijutsu specialist are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to taijutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to genjutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to ninjutsu.

As a Taijutsu Specialist, Jigane is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, and is able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats are Taijutsu, Control, Strength, and Speed.
Abilities
Steel Body After achieving unparalleled mastery of ninjutsu, Jigane is able to become one with Kouton. After undergoing the gruelling process of sealing himself into an object he was able to gather metal around himself to recreate his body. This object must be inside or at least constantly within physical contact with his artificial body. This means that his body takes on the properties of kouton at almost all times. Any damage sustained by the body is able to be recovered by gathering more of the same element, and is incapable of bleeding. While this gives Jigane a form of almost invulnerability, if the object that holds his true self is damaged it spells out almost certain death.

Concentrations

Kouton Affinity:
Kouton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Kouton, and advanced form of Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Kouton affinity. Kouton has an resisting effect. Those without the Elemental Specialization cannot make custom Kouton jutsu.
Passive (Resisting)Show
Kouton has a resisting effect. This means that Kouton jutsu ignore the effects of other affinities, regardless of their nature. If a Kouton spear was thrown through a water shield, the spear would not be caught by the shield, nor would it be destroyed by Sankaton, or cut by Fuuton. This resisting effect does not apply to active effects by jutsu. This means a fuuton jutsu that cuts with 30 strength would still cut through a 20 strength kouton shield, but it would not be affected by the secondary cutting by Fuuton. This makes Kouton very effective for breaking through and penetrating defenses that opponents expect to protect them. It's hardy nature makes Kouton very popular amoung Doton users.
Doton:
Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Passive (Enduring)Show
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.

The fundamental skill of the [Upper Body] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their arms, chest and head in various ways to facilitate their use of related Taijutsu.
Projectile Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Projectile Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with weapons designed to attack from afar, such as bows, shuriken, senbon, launchers and the like. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Deft Hands:
The fundamental skill of [Deft Hands] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their hands in very specific and complex movements, like sleight of hand and targeting very small and specific points on an opponent’s body. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu in various ways.

*[Basic Jutsu • Clone Technique]
E-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their stamina draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's stamina.

E-Ranked Ninjutsu
A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. Seals activated with this technique must be within 20 + (Control/2) meters of the user's position.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. This chakra amount must be precise, and although all shinobi learn this technique, the user's control stat will determine how well this jutsu can be executed. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat times 3.

*[Basic Jutsu • Act of Water Surface Walking]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat times 3.

A rather simple technique that allows the user to escape from a genjutsu. The stat requirements for this technique can be found in the genjutsu rules.

*[Basic Jutsu • Change of Body Stance Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 20 yard radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will coat one of their hairs in chakra. Once this has been done, they will place it on their target. The user can track the exact location of the strand of hair for up to 7 meters. For up to twenty meters out, the user can track a rough location. From then out to 100 meters, the user just gets a general idea of where the opponent is. The chakra in the hair will dissipate at the end of 6 posts.

[Ninjutsu • Second Wind]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Channeling the chakra flowing this his elemental body into the weapons either within him or in his hands, Jigane channels chakra within them, giving them a pocket of chakra. When used at in melee combat, this allows the weapon to unleash a burst of chakra on contact which allows one to push whatever they have touched back half a foot. When used on projectiles being used at long range, this allows the burst of chakra to cause the projectiles to gain speed and power mid flight, adding 3 speed and 2 strength to their attacks, on top of any buffs given by other techniques or maneuvers that are applied. This burst only lasts for two posts before the projectiles will begin to loose velocity and loose their bonuses, returning to normal speed.

Despite requiring both hands and more time than *[Basic Jutsu • Chakra Kai], Multiple Chakra Kai allows the user to activate up to five objects simultaneously, up to 20 + (Control/2) meters away.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will expel a cloud of metallic pebbles in a cone reaching 10m from themselves and expanding to 5m wide at 5 speed. The pellets strike with 5 strength and have spiked edges for maximum damage.

*Kouton • Steel Fists
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat their hands in a silvery metal. This hardens their hands considerably, allowing them to punch and fight with their fists as if they had +3 strength. The metal causes their fists to become less dextrous, however, and reduces their taijutsu by 3. This is, however, unable to protect the user from attacks as the metal coating is too thin.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user can create up to two projectiles out of metal. This includes kunai, senbon, shuriken, chakrams and other similar sized throwing weapons.

*Kouton • Hidden Needle

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel chakra into a metal weapon they are holding. Upon throwing or swinging that weapon, they are then able to cause a 15cm long needle to be launched from within that weapon at 5 speed in a single direction at any point along its trajectory. This needle will strike with 5 strength.

Kouton • Walking Armory
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Jigane is able to store and move objects within his metal body. By channeling chakra through his body he can allow objects to enter it as if they were trying to pierce mud, and also move them around while inside of his body, be it to retrieve them or have them partially stick out of his body. This allows him to both carry objects without needing to carry them in pouches, as well allows him to create hidden attacks with the items and equip them faster.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will channel chakra into their hand. For the next 3 posts, the first metal object the user touches will shatter into several tiny pieces, so long as it is not larger than half the user's size.

After performing the correct hand seals the user causes a wall of steel to emerge from the ground up to 4 metres in height at 10 speed. This wall can block attacks up to 10 strength, and remains until it is destroyed. The koton passive will no longer apply on attacks that effect it after 3 posts.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will cause a source of metal larger than a person to start spraying a cloud of needles in a single direction at 10 speed and 10 strength. This cloud goes 20 metres from the point of origin, while also being 10 metres in width.

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will touch two fingers on each hand together. From those spots, the user is able to create up to 35m of wire for each hand, and cause it to approach and wrap around something at 13 speed and 7 strength. Each wire may wrap around a different thing. The wire must be completely created in the first post, but acts as normal wire afterwards. This does not contain Kouton's passive.

After channeling doton chakra into their foot the user will slam the ground within 3 meters of a target's feet with their heel, causing a formation of rock to shoot upwards at a speed of 6 binding the target's feet at a strength of 4.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will cause a 1/2 meter pot hole to appear at a speed of 5 somewhere within 7 meters.

A stable and steady stance practiced by nearly all wishing to use projectiles. At this stage they are planted and focusing on their arms and shoulders, moving in smooth motions to mitigate unnecessary movements that may ruin their aim.

[Flawless Aim Style • Multi-shot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to knock multiple projectiles upon a single shot, loosing all of them simultaneously. Their accuracy suffers from this, taking a cumulative -2 Strength for each additional shot.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to shoot in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. Granted, they must know of their target’s location or have another means of detecting them.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
This allows the user to hit a moving target so long as it is moving in a way predictable to the user. They must still take into account travel time, and sudden changes in path will still affect the outcome.

The user will hold multiple projectiles in their hands to reduce the amount of time needed between each shot. When required they can quickly and fluidly draw more projectiles and keep up a steady stream of attacks. However, while utilizing this Stance the users feet must be planted, limiting the range of their assault, and their ability to be mobile while using it.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The user has learned to maintain accuracy while on the move. This allows the user to move at full speed and even change directions without interrupting their rhythm.

*[Flawless Aim Style • Ricochet Shot]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By launching their shot at the proper angle the practitioner is capable of bouncing their projectile off solid surfaces without losing accuracy. Any surface they bounce off causes the projectile to lose ⅕ of its impact strength and soft or uneven surfaces are impossible to bounce off.

*[Flawless Aim Style • Hidden Shot]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By releasing two projectiles back to back the user attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size and the second is slightly behind and below it, usually attempting to hide in the first’s shadow. This masks the attack to some degree. However, perceptive opponents who have an instinct greater than the user’s tai may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

*[Flawless Aim Style • Twisting Path]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By adding a spin to the weapon before it is launched the user is able to give the it a warping motion as it flies through the air. With much practice, the user is able to predict the weapon’s shifting motion and aim accordingly. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, and is especially useful against a human shield.

As a child, Jigane was born into the world of average height with a thin build, the only thing connecting his child self to him now being his black and messy hair and his personality. Even as a child Jigane was quiet and sat in the back watching rather than participating. When he finally entered the academy, he was the quiet nerd, the guy who got good grades and was frail and meek looking.

However, when he was about nine within the academy, his genes began to take effect, causing him to grow rapidly. By the time he had graduated from the academy, he was standing at 5'7, although he was still thin and lanky. This freakish appearance scared some of his fellow students away, but most of the others saw him as freak, finding his appearance to be amusing. Eventually, a group of children who had failed to graduate from the academy decided that he was a prime target to take out their frustrations on, being tall enough to hurt him if they knocked him over, but seemingly too frail to fight back. When they did try to attack him however, Jigane demonstrated a level of strength thought impossible by someone with his body. In a fight of him against five other children, Jigane had not only managed to beat each with only one punch, but also did so without ever being hit.

At this point most students who weren't in his squad avoided him, while those in his squad cowered upon meeting him. For a year he would work with his team, albeit in a barely working form, and eventually found their way to the chuunin exams. He would barely make it back from the first part when he was left in a cold tundra with many large and fat beasts. When he returned to the village he was covered in scars and wounds, rushed the the hospital as fast as possible afterwards. After he finally recovered, he was placed against an elemental ninjutsu specialist, who beat him through barraging him with raiton, katon, and fuuton.

After this, Jigane began to learn to study the use of Kouton, so that he would never be beaten by someone using elemental ninjutsu so easily again. As this happened, he would also improve his strength and taijutsu use, and when he took the chuunin exams again, he passed with ease at the age of seventeen. For the next few years he would improve his skill in Kouton and taijutsu, his strength becoming powerful. Soon after however, he discovered a method of turning ones self into an element. Here he decided to become an elemental of metal, sealing himself into a container and turning near by metal into his own body. After then, he found his speed and taijutsu were severally weakened, his speed and taijutsu decreased greatly. Realizing his strength was dependent both on his chakra flow and physical body, Jigane would begin to train his control while still preforming his duties for Iwagakure. Four years later his speed has been restored and his strength is almost at its original level, and he seeks his new assignment with a new squad of chuunin.
