Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Vale has matured into a conventionally attractive young man, possessing a strong jawline and angular facial features. His hair is a darkened brown, and is often in left in an unkempt manner. His expression is often a bored or thoughtful, as if he is not focused or paying attention.
  • Body: He has experienced a significant growth spurt in his later adolescence, growing several inches taller. His frame has maintained it's lean quality, even with definition and development of his muscles. His hands are noted to be coarse and scarred, with micro-cuts crisscrossing his palms.
  • Notable Features: A particular trait of his immediate family, the irises of Vale's eyes are two distinct colors. His right is a vivid and bright red, while his left eye is a vibrant and striking green.
Clothing/Accessories:Vale gravitates towards colors prevalent in earth country; shades of gray, brown, black, and red. His usual outfit, both on mission and on leisure, consists of a black t-shirt and red hoodies, over which he wears a black jacket. He also wear a pair of black pants and shinobi boots. His forehead protector is tied around his right arm, facing in the same direction as his elbow. He wears two small, brown, studs, one in each ear.

  • General: Vale can come off as a very aloof person, maintaining a cool distance with anyone he interacts with, and never fully being present in the moment. This demeanor is partially due to the experiences he has had in recent years, which have served to erode his emotional expression. He is a dutiful and responsible shinobi, his main focus during missions the completion of their objectives. He has come to realize that a village's value in a shinobi comes from their competence and loyalty, both traits he strives to display.

    When it comes to his clan, he takes every measure he can in order to maintain wide distance between him and them. This stems from a resentment he'd held in his early years as a shinobi, which grew and festered, ultimately culminating during his second entrance into the Arena. This turned it into a mental/physical disgust towards other Akari, even his family, having nausea whenever interacting with one, though he is able to mask the discomfort well enough to accomplish whatever the goal is. He spends very little time in the clan compound, and takes missions that often allow him to be absent from the village for long time periods.

  • Combat Mentality: Vale favors the use of traps, both jutsu and weapon, in order to maintain control over the battlefield and his environment. When not able to do so, or if the fighting calls for more personal methods, Vale is a capable close-range combatant, trained in both the use of his shiin to assist in combat, as well as skilled wielding of his great-AXE, Dibaida.

10x Trap Wire Shuriken:
Specially designed shuriken that are infused with the user's chakra, these projectiles are capable of being triggered by chakra kai, causing them to fire their four points outwards. Each point is tethered to the ring core by a 3 meter length of razor thin wire. They are detonated with a force capable of embedding them securely in wood and stone, with a speed of 10 and a strength of 10.

Dibaida:
Dibaida is a two handed battle axe that was passed down to Vale by his father, a tradition among the sons and fathers of his family upon completion of their first mission. It is 60 inches long with a one sided blade measuring 36 inches in length . On the opposite side of the pole is a small loophole. When not in use it is stored in a clasped sheathe on Vale's back, resting in a leaning position. The axe is hefty, requiring at least 10 strength to wield properly and easily.

Vale has had the great axe modified in order to complement his style of fighting and to extend it's reach. The handle of his blade now can separate into 4 chained segments, each with a length of 9 inches between them, bringing the weapon's fully extended length to 90 inches, with the blade acting as a weight, similar to a mace. By channeling chakra into the handle, Vale is able to extend and retract the weapon at will.

Ninjutsu: Elemental Specialist:
Having devoted their lives to mastering the Elemental affinities, this shinobi is classified as an Elemental Ninjutsu Specialist. Elemental specialist are able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to elemental concentrations, unlike most people who are capped at 8. The user is not able to access any specializations that are marked for Ninjutsu Specialist, but instead, can now pick up concentrations marked for Elemental Specialists. Additionally, their two additional concentrations MUST be used for elements. They cannot use them for ninpou styles. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to Taijutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to Genjutsu.

As a Ninjutsu Specialist, [User] is able to utilize Ninjutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, but cannot utilize non-elemental ninjutsu specializations. Additionally they are able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats can only be [Ninjutsu or Instinct], [Speed or Strength], and 2 of [Control, Instinct, or Stamina].

Shiin:
The main bloodline of the Akari clan is their shiin. While the size, shape, and abilities of the shiin depends on which chakra the organ is connected to. The shiin, while manifesting itself, is a constant within them. Unlike other similar clans, the shiin is the only thing that alters itself, leaving the Akari's body largely in tact. However, because of this, the shiin is just another part of the body, just as someone's arm or leg.

Vale possess a pair of phasmashiin, which manifest at the base of his elbow, and grow in a scale-like pattern to cover his entire forearm. They cover his hands in in a claw-like manner, leaving the tips of his fingers sharp and lethal. They are colored like so.

He possesses a eroshiin that manifests itself from his shoulder blades, growing in a manner the resembles flames manifesting. They have a texture and appearance that resemble that of a bird of prey, being aerodynamic and appearing to be feathered. It is colored like so

Raiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the ninjutsu stat requirement.

Doton:
Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Passive (Enduring)Show
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.
Kouton Affinity:
Kouton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Kouton, and advanced form of Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Kouton affinity. Kouton has an resisting effect. Those without the Elemental Specialization cannot make custom Kouton jutsu.
Passive (Resisting)Show
Kouton has a resisting effect. This means that Kouton jutsu ignore the effects of other affinities, regardless of their nature. If a Kouton spear was thrown through a water shield, the spear would not be caught by the shield, nor would it be destroyed by Sankaton, or cut by Fuuton. This resisting effect does not apply to active effects by jutsu. This means a fuuton jutsu that cuts with 30 strength would still cut through a 20 strength kouton shield, but it would not be affected by the secondary cutting by Fuuton. This makes Kouton very effective for breaking through and penetrating defenses that opponents expect to protect them. It's hardy nature makes Kouton very popular amoung Doton users.

Sensor
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.

Shiin Usage:
The fundamental skill of Shiin usage indicates the user’s proficiency with all types of shiin. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Hafted Weapons:
The fundamental skill of a Hafted Weapons indicated the user’s proficiency with various axes, blunt weapons, flails and the like. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Corded Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Corded Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with long rope-like weapons such as chains and wire. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Acrobatics:
The fundamental skill of [Acrobatics] includes the user’s ability to contort their body into unfamiliar positions in order to avoid attacks, as well as the user’s ability to fall safely and perform Ukemi and other feats of gymnastics. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Close Quarters Combat:
The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.

This user has learn to use sound cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to create sounds and sustain sounds to capture their targets in a genjutsu.

After performing the correct hand seals the user covers their body in a layer of visible static which crackles around them for 4 posts. Anything which comes within 6 inches of their body will be repelled with a force of 5 strength and have the Raiton Shocking effect applied.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a copy of themselves out of Raiton chakra. The clone will be able to move with the stats labelled below, while also exploding with the force of a single exploding tag upon death (which also applies the raiton passive effect). The clone will only last for 3 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat a weapon they are holding in Raiton electricity for 5 posts. This causes the shock effect to be produced on any contact with a target, while also granting blunt weapons the ability to cut through skin to produce shallow wounds. This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel Raiton chakra into their body. It will grant an increase of +3 in speed, but a -3 decrease in Taijutsu.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 20m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain first degree electrical burns. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user emits a wave of electricity from their palm in a single direction. This is produced as a 10m wide line which extends 2m into the air and travels up to 25m from the user at 10 speed. The wave will apply the shocking effect and reduce the speed of any living thing it strikes by 5 points for 3 posts by electrically interfering with the brain's nervous signals.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 20m diameter. The user's Raiton techniques will travel 5 points faster when they travel through this zone for 3 posts. This technique ends the moment the user leaves this area. They also return to normal speed upon leaving the area. This technique does not apply the shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will place their hand on the ground, creating a web of lightning with a speed of 39, and striking with a strength of 1, that will electrocute anyone caught within a 15m radius, and apply a -6 Speed debuff, which lasts 3 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will imbue four kunai with Raiton chakra. They will then proceed to throw the kunai within 10m of each other to form a square. Once in place, they will form a four sided barrier with a strength of 20 and speed of 20. If the target comes in contact with one of the walls, they will be shocked. The jutsu can be interrupted if an outside force breaks one of the walls, or if one of the kunai is dislodged. Otherwise the jutsu lasts 3 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a 1 meter diameter ball of loose dirt in front of them, launching it off up to 10 meters away at a strength of 4 and speed of 6. Upon impact the ball of loose dirt breaks apart forming a vision-impairing cloud of dirt with a 3 meter radius.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will cause create a 3x3x3m hole in the ground, at a speed of 5.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a solid stone wall up to 5 meters away from them at a speed of 6. The wall has a strength of 4 and is 3x3x1 meters large.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will tap their foot on the ground charging a 2 meter radius around their foot with explosive chakra. This is armed at a speed of 10. For the next three posts if anyone steps on that area it will explode with a force equal to a standard C-Rank explosion.

C-rank Ninjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals and place their hands to the ground. Releasing waves of chakra out of their hands. These waves of chakra will bounce back to the user after traveling out 25 meters on the ground. As the chakra returns to the user it will evoke an image in the users head of the immediate area around them, anything touching the ground and anything up to 5 feet underground. These are still images, not moving images, but can give the user a good idea of what is happening if they aren’t able to see otherwise.

By channeling doton chakra into their arm, the user will form rock from their shoulder downward, encasing their forearm and hand in rough and simplistic layered plates of stone. The stone passes over the hand on the back-side but leaves the palm-side uncovered allowing full dexterity of the hand for seals. This essentially resembles a manica, which is a segmented armor that spans the length of the arm. The armor has a strength of 15 and forms at a speed of 5.

B-rank Ninjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, and then come in contact with the ground. So long as they are already aware of an object or being on the ground, within 50m of their position, they can send waves of chakra directly to that thing, sending the waves of chakra through them. This allows the user to get very precise imagery on how that person is fighting, what they have on their person, or what is within an object, or so forth. This jutsu can be maintained with movement, but does require some length of focus.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a nondescript 2x1x2 meter jaw complete with a dense row of spiked teeth. They will then launch the head at a target for up to 15 meters traveling at a speed of 20. During the course of it's travel at any time the user can perform an additional hand seal, causing the jaw of spiked teeth to close shut, clamping and impaling whatever is within it at a strength of 20.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will expel a cloud of metallic pebbles in a cone reaching 10m from themselves and expanding to 5m wide at 5 speed. The pellets strike with 5 strength and have spiked edges for maximum damage.

*Kouton • Shrapnel Bomb
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user will create a hollow ball of steel about the size of a soccer ball. They will then fire this ball at 5 speed in a single direction for up to 10 metres. Upon contact or reaching its maximum range, the ball will detonate with the power of a single exploding tag, showing the effected area in metal shards.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user can create up to two projectiles out of metal. This includes kunai, senbon, shuriken, chakrams and other similar sized throwing weapons.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will cause a source of metal larger than a person to start spraying a cloud of needles in a single direction at 10 speed and 10 strength. This cloud goes 20 metres from the point of origin, while also being 10 meters in width.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will touch two fingers on each hand together. From those spots, the user is able to create up to 35m of wire for each hand, and cause it to approach and wrap around something at 13 speed and 7 strength. Each wire may wrap around a different thing. The wire must be completely created in the first post, but acts as normal wire afterwards. This does not contain Kouton's passive.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will kneel down and place their hands on the ground. Then, three chains with 50cm long blades at the end will burst from the ground toward a target at 20 speed. They will bind the target with 20 strength and attempt to either stake them into the ground or impale them upon the blades in the end of the chains. These chains remain taut and strong for 5 posts.

Having activated their sensory jutsu, the user will lift one hand from their medium and do a series of seals, holding the final seal. While holding this seal, the speed of the waves will increase significantly, allowing them to “see movement”, giving a more clear image of how things are happening. However, the user cannot move at all while sustaining this technique.

Vale has developed a personal style in order to utilize his customized great axe to it's full potential, basing it around the hidden mechanic that was added to it's handle. Centering on high agility maneuvers alongside high impact hits, it can be seen as erratic style of combat.

Vale has trained extensively with his modified weapon, and is able to use it in both forms at equal levels of proficiency. He is able to move in a way that maximizes the force and weight of the weapon, while maintaining his agility.

Slamming his axe into a surface, Vale will extend it's chain, enabling him to quickly change his trajectory, or suddenl. halt any momentum he has built up.

While his axe is sheathed, Vale will quickly reach back and draw it, bringing the weapon into a overhead slash downward.

Vale will leap forwards, and quickly spin three times, bringing his axe around as he does so.

C-Rank Taijutsu Stance
With his axe fully extended, Vale treats the weapon as a flail, whipping it's blade around fluidly and swiftly. In this stance he is able to proficiently use the axe's extended form, as if it were an extension of his own arm.

Flicking his weapon in it's extended form, the target will become wrapped by the chain of the axe. Once done, he will force the weapon to contract with a strength of 15, constricting the target within it tightly.
Lethal Thread Style:
Over the years, Vale has trained his proficiency in the use of wires to a lethal degree. His manipulation of them is so fine that he is capable of techniques that would be considered near impossible for the average shinobi. The way he is able move them often makes it seem like they are direct extensions of his body. All jutsu in this style have the minimum instinct prerequisite, equal to the jutsu rank.

Vale will weave his wires through his hands in a way that allows to manipulate them in a manner that grants him an proficient degree of finesse and skill, making them extensions of his body.

Flicking his wrists, Vale is able to cause his wires to coil around a target, after which he will pull them taut, constricting whatever is caught within and tearing into it with their razor-thin sharpness.

By flicking his arms in a given direction, Vale will have his wires pierce a given target surface, before pulling them taut, propelling himself forward towards it.

Flicking his arms forward, Vale will fling his wires forward into a target with a strength of 25. Once they have pierced them, he will pull the wires taut, resulting in them tearing out of the target, ripping the area around them.

Skillfully manipulating his wires, Vale is able to suspend several taut sections of them in the environment around him, providing new vantage points from which he can maneuver. He is able to use this technique in environments with closely clustered surfaces, such as forests, mountains, or urban settings.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Relying on his training, Vale is able to maneuver on top of his wires as easily as if he were on solid ground. He is able to perform combat techniques, walk across them, and leapt from wire to wire as if he were a spider. This grants him the ability to move around his environment in highly erratic and unpredictable ways, providing distinct advantages over opponents.
Shiin Usage:
Each shiin can be used differently. The majority of the shiins are melee-combat based and rely on using the extra reach granted by the Mela/Temershiin to gain an advantage and overwhelm the opponent with added appendages or the added defensive capabilities of the Phasma/Lacrishiin to shrug off damage and place decisive blows while the enemies guard is down. Those fortunate enough to be born with the Dergoshiin are outliers within the clan due to their ability to engage at longer ranges than their counterparts and as such are more likely to stick to hit and run tactics.

A partially automatic technique once learned, but can be stopped if need-be, the user is able to cause the manifested form of their shiin to deflate at command or whenever they go unconscious. While the uses of this aren't directly obvious, it does allow them to hide the fact that they do in fact have a shiin.

~Basic Formation: Phasmashiin
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Channeling chakra to their shiin, they cause it to inflate, fully forming into its full glory. The phasmashiin takes the shape of a scaled and skeletal weapon over one of the Akari's limbs. The phasmashiin have a strength equal to user's strength.

~Basic Formation: Eroshiin
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Channeling chakra to their shiin, they cause it to inflate, fully forming into its full glory. Taking the form of wings, they are incapable of flight on their own, however are very aerodynamic, allowing for the user to slowly float down, based on their prerequisite taijutsu. The Eroshiin has a strength equal to 3/4ths the user's strength.

D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Type: Eroshiin
While not quite the same, by opening their shiin to the fullest, an Akari is able to slow their fall without fear of falling, even if thrust downward. While unable to gain height, even with gusts of wind, this protects an Akari from damage caused by falling, given they have enough space to fall.

Requirements: ~Slow Fall
A much more advanced version of ~Slow Fall, this technique allows the user to effectively glide, as long as their shiin is out. While they still can't gain height through this technique, they are able to slow their descent to ridiculous levels, and, with enough control (Taijutsu stat of 19), they are able to descend at a 80 degree angle.

Taking advantage of the nature of his dual phasmashiin, Vale's fighting style will come to resemble that of animal. His stance will be low and centered, while he sways back and forth, striking with his claws first, seeking to rip, tear, and maul an opponent violently.

Born into the infamous Akari Clan of Iwa, Vale grew up the son of Akari Aku, Warden of The Pit, Iwagakure's prison, and Akari Cai, a diplomat and spy. When he was young, his mother died giving birth to his sister, Memi, leaving the pair to be raised under the strict and disciplined eye of their father. Vale was born with the Phasmashiin, a shiin requiring a strong athletic build and training in order to use appropriately.
His sister was found to possess the Astrashiin, the rarest of the clan's Kekkai Genkai, and the most treasured.

In the Academy, Vale proved to a an average pupil in the realm of academics, though something of a natural in the fields of ninjutsu and taijutsu. His most notable achievement while there was never losing in a sparing match to another student. Once he'd graduated, he was a eager Genin, seeking to prove his strength as a shinobi. This outlook was quickly shattered upon one of his first missions, wherein he, along with clan-mate Kotaru, were tasked with investigating reports of a rampaging beast in a bordering village. Though managing to complete their mission, Vale was confronted with the harsh reality of his strength in the world compared to others.

His relationship with his clan, while initially neutral at best, had begun its spiraling decline, starting from his initial meeting with Akari Tatsuo and Kotaro, making a quick rival of the boy, their animosity growing with each interaction. He'd begin to spend less and less time around the clan's compound, conflicted by his apprehension of the clan's traditions and politics, thoughts further flamed by Kotaru and Tatsuo. The rift between him and the clan seemed to culminate upon his first match within the Arena, the Akari's ritualistic combat zone, in which two clan-members fight to the death, in order to claim each other's shiin. Vale's match was brutal affair, with him emerging victorious by a narrow margin, and claiming the phasmashiin of his opponent. This came within a few weeks of his appointment to Chuunin by the village, granting a new breadth of responsibilities to cover.

He'd prove to be an adept tracker and hunter, performing missions that involved the elimination of beasts, the escorting of VIPs, and the capture/elimination of criminals such as bandits, thieves, and even missing-nin. His promotion to Special Jounin was fast tracked, Vale proving himself an asset to the village. His promotion coincided with his second entrance into the Arena. This occasion would prove to be a cementing factor in his wish to stress his ties to the clan, nearly granting mercy to his opponent only for them to ridicule him and attempt an ill-fated attack. In the end, he'd gain a eroshiin for the trouble.

His interaction with other Akari would grow less and less, with him eventually moving out of the compound in favor of his own apartment, within the village. Vale now works often as an escort or courier for important missives, enjoying the long trips that they grant him away from Iwa.
