Akari, Akuma

The path to power is long and there are no shortcuts.

General Information Age: 14
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 181 lbs
Physical Features:

Akuma's in all senses of the word, a Goliath. His height is beyond abnormal for a child his age, his body holding a fair amount of pure muscle on him, which would look disgusting if he wasn't so tall. He looks like a full grown man despite his age, and he's got some growing left to go. His muscles are about as defined as you'd expect in a mortal man, though lean rather than bulky as if his muscles were compacted and compressed rather than for show.
His eyes are a verdant green with the impurity near the pupil being a bright grey as if piercing through the flesh of those unfortunate enough to be seen by him.

In science it is explained that your face morphs along with the rest of your body, by that they mean that if you were a skinny person, and suddenly build a strong body, your face wouldn't look as thin or tiny as it was when you were skinny... this is proven by the fact that Akuma's face looks like he's grown into an oddly masculinely attractive athlete in their late twenties.
On top of being a true enigma of physical build and stature, Akuma's hair is a jet black, high and tight, almost jarhead looking cut, without all the strict obedience that comes with the stereotype. His skin has a mild tan, fair yet rugged. It was almost as if he was meant to be older than he really is.

Clothing/Accessories:
Akuma's typical outfit isn't really much, he wears loose clothes so they don't impede his training. The shirt is more or less a greyish brown vest, with the kanji for his middle name on the spine of the vest, Ikari. His pants are loose, so he wears a belt of silver weighted chain tight enough around his waist to hold the pants up while giving him something to train with. His pants are a forest green in nature, the outer edge of the right ankle has the kanji for Hakai. All of the kanji written in crimson red. He usually goes barefoot for training purposes with weighted wraps around his calves, but sometimes he wears cleats with metal soles. He also wears weights on his wrists, his legs, shoulders, whatever makes it more difficult to move and improve his training.

Personality:
There is no talking with Akuma. He rarely speaks if ever, and when he does it is necessary. Whether it be because his superiors demand his response, or because things need to get done that no one else seems to be doing. This makes him come across as rude but what few people realize is, he doesn't care. Akuma's tough exterior belies his true intelligence, he's not stupid despite being dead set on turning his body into that of a god. He analyzes the actions of those around him and responds appropriately, hostility is met with hostility, kindness with kindness. If you want to talk to him, however, you better be able to read action, because words mean nothing to him.

After years of abuse from his father, Akuma has developed an emotional numbness. He acts with purpose, apathetic to people, calculated responses, and a blank empty look in his eyes while piercingly analyzing your every microexpression. His only real concern is genjutsu users, as he knows his weakness is when someone taps into his mind to use him like a toy. When faced with someone he can only assume is genjutsu adept, he tries to take them out quickly and tries to remain as aware of his surroundings and sense of self as possible.

Akuma tries to bring his body to its peak, always. Fluidity in motion, solid build, strength in force, and control in purpose... his efforts are to make himself a manifestation of physical power. To break the chains of reality and use them as a jump rope to further his training.

As for his family and clan, he cares very little. Akari target each other to further their power, therefore, they will more than likely try to eat him on principal... and he can't defend himself against the rare Akari that use genjutsu. Trust is scarce when it comes to everyone, but when it comes to the Akari, it's far more scarce... and far more fragile... and when that trust breaks, it won't matter whether you can trust them again... one of you is probably dead.

Combat Mentality:
Akuma conserves his energy in and out of combat, preferring to fight only when it is necessary... lest it's a spar or training, which is also acceptable. He actually tries to enjoy himself in combat, unless his opponent starts making a spectacle of themselves... which in his mind is an insult to combat... where he'll respond in kind by ending the fight nice and quickly, whether by crippling them, knocking them out, or killing them on the spot.

Shiin
The main bloodline of the Akari clan is their shiin. While the size, shape, and abilities of the shiin depends on which chakra the organ is connected to. The shiin, while manifesting itself, is a constant within them. Unlike other similar clans, the shiin is the only thing that alters itself, leaving the Akari's body largely in tact. However, because of this, the shiin is just another part of the body, just as someone's arm or leg.
SpoilerShow
Lacrishiin

The fifth and slightly rare shiin is the Lacrishiin. Connected to the throat chakra, a lacrishiin manifests itself as an armor around the user's body. The amount of armor depends on the user's own body. This armor smooth and dull, appearing as a dim and opaque glass. While the armor has the same durability as others, it is also able to be strengthened in more ways, unlike the others. However, the armor created is almost never offensive in nature, requiring the user to use their own brute force to damage enemies. Most lacrishiin are blue in hue, though there are exceptions. Members of the clan with lacrishiin tend to be bodyguards of those of importance and high ranking members of the clan.

Akuma's Lacrishin is a very smoothed out almost skin-like armor, its design seems to represent a monk's late stages of muscle and clothes from the collar to the bottoms of his feet. The muscle aesthetic of the Lacrishiin looks strained yet flowing. The texture is more like if Chainmail and Plate had a Mercury Dragon's baby, silky smooth, very subtle chain links flowing through it, and just as hard and solid as Platemail. This lacrishiin clearly represents a skin of the utmost toughness and build of pure muscle that defies comprehension. The lacrishiin is almost completely silver, giving in to Lacrishin's usually bluish nature, the blue is shown just as equally as the silver, as more of a pearlescent reflection... as if he was actually wearing the metal armor of pure muscle.

Doton:
Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
SpoilerShow
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand-held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.

~Basic Formation: Lacrishiin
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Type: Lacrishiin
Channeling chakra to their shiin, they cause it to inflate, fully forming into its full glory. Taking the form of an almost opaque armor with an appearance of glass, the lacrishiin almost completely covers the user's body. As a pseudo armor, the lacrishiin has no inherent strength, but has a stamina equal to the Akari's stamina+3, while causing the Akari to move at 3 less speed.

~Dismiss
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Type: All Shiin
A partially automatic technique once learned but can be stopped if need-be, an Akari is able to cause the manifested form of their shiin to deflate at the command or whenever they go unconscious. While the uses of this aren't directly obvious, it does allow them to hide the fact that they do in fact have a shiin.

Doton • Repair
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will charge Doton chakra through their palm or feet and repair damages to the object they touch with stone and rock. Like fixing a wall you punched a hole into or repairing a table you broke. Akuma made this so that when he's training or when he's angry, he can repair any damages. As such, this jutsu moves at a Speed of 2 with a Strength of 8 and is meant for basic items like a table or wall so a fair 5x5x5 feet is the limit of the jutsu.... unless used in succession of course.

*Doton • Wall
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a solid stone wall up to 5 meters away from them at a speed of 6. The wall has a strength of 4 and is 3x3x1 meters large.

*Doton • Binding Formation
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling doton chakra into their foot the user will slam the ground within 3 meters of a target's feet with their heel, causing a formation of rock to shoot upwards at a speed of 6 binding the target's feet at a strength of 4.

*Doton • Earthen Ninja Tools
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a set of up to 10 basic projectiles, such as kunai, shuriken, or senbon, in their hand. These tools have a strength of 5.

~Strengthen the Armor
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Type: Lacrishiin
By doing the needed hand seals, the user is able to channel chakra directly into their shiin. This strengthens the armor, giving it an extra durability of 5. However, while doing so, they are unable to use any ninjutsu or genjutsu while this is in effect. This lasts as long as they continue to channel chakra into their shiin.

Gift of the Tortured
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Prerequisites: [Rigid Structure]

After years of constant abuse, one develops a sort of resistance to it. It's human adaptation to get used to sensations over time. Akuma now is used to 1 inch deep cuts and lower, and bruising from blunt damage doesn't occur unless the attacker has at least 10 more strength than him. In other words, minor cuts and blunt attacks are numbed and seem to lack substance with him.

Ambidexterous
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
A simple thing, some people are born with the ability to use both hands and arms as if they both qualify as a dominant hand. Akuma happens to be one of those people. This means that whether he punches you with a right hook or left hook, they're just as powerful as the other.

To punch brick
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisites: [Upper Body]

This taijutsu is simple in its presentation. The user keeps a makes a very swift and usually sudden swing directly into the jaw of the target. If the target isn't knocked flat on their back then they're at least staggering. 5 Strength more than the opponent's is needed to effectively use this Jutsu.

Haymaker
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisites: [Upper Body]

Akuma takes a step forward, rotating his body ever so slightly to one side before shotgunning his fist forward with a simultaneous straightening of the arm and return rotation of his body and another step forward with force. Having at least 5 strength more than the target will knock the target back, having 10 more strength than the target will knock them flat on their butt.

Brick Breaker
D-Ranked Maneuver Taijutsu
Prerequisites: [Upper Body]

This is simple, a straight fist to the chest of the opponent with about as much force as one would expect they would need to break a wall of brick. This attack is meant to either knock the opponent back or knock the wind straight out of them. You need 5 or more strength higher than the target in order for this to work to full effect.

~Perfect Balance
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Type: Melashiin, Temershiin, Phasmashiin, Eroshiin, and Lacrishiin.

Due to training with their shiin, Akari members are much more at balance than those without a shiin. This holds especially true for those with temershiin, as the tail-like protrusion provides a counterbalance. This also allows for clan members to use their shiin as legs for balance, if able.

Wrecking Wall
C-Ranked Stance Taijutsu
Prerequisite: [Rigid Structure]

Carefully putting his legs a bit further apart and a slight bend in his legs, allowing a sturdier positioning. This does not hinder mobility, it causes his a firmer placement of the feet, legs, and body without making movement feel or look obtrusive. This is a rather strong and reflexive stance, meant to enhance Akuma's reaction time and durability by flexing his muscles.

History
SpoilerShow
Akuma was a rather large child even at birth, he wasn't born with obscene muscle or anything, but he was a rather large newborn... weighing at about twenty-two pounds. It was rumored that the reason why he was so big was that he was much like a shark baby, eating his mother from the inside and any possible siblings he may have had... of course, it was just a rumor to explain his abnormal size, though it didn't help that his mother died after giving birth to him.

His childhood was fairly normal at least among the Akari clan, though without a mother, he was raised in a more aggressive manner. His father was an Akari with a Phasmashiin, the living weapon organ. His deceased mother ironically had a Melashiin. Akuma's father was not afraid to take out his anger and grief on his only child, challenging Akuma and using his Phasmashiin so that while he's busy beating his kid, he also teaches him how to defend himself.... it was a win-win. Akuma slowly grew to fit his father's discipline, adapting to pain and actually beginning to get used to it to the point that it barely phased him when his father lashed at him with the Shiin. The boy had yet to fight back, he knew he was outmatched, though he did begin to work out on his own. His size proved to turn him into a miniature golem.

No one in the clan found out his Shiin, assuming it was a Melashin since his father kept whipping him and he hadn't ended up killing him yet. Akuma continued his workout regimen, he went to Ninja Academy as normal of course. He proved his worth in his speed and strength, his durability and stamina were also rather unusual for someone his age. They weren't too happy with his lack of ninjutsu skills but figured his already strange might was a fair trade. The academy found that he refrained from using weapons, and were shocked to find that despite being an Akari that he hadn't used his Shiin that the clan was known to use so often. He did fine with using weapons when they insisted he show them what he could do, but he only used them when he was not for it. He simply used his body to take down his opponents, finding him to be rather brutal in his sparring practices.

After a while, Akuma's father finally forgave the boy for killing his wife. Two years into the boy's Academy years, his father apologized to him and told him to come at him with all he had... Akuma agreed without saying a word, though it wasn't unusual for his father, as Akuma never even said his first words to him. Akuma stared at him for a while, took a slow and extensive inhale before exhaling even slower. As he exhaled, his Lacrishiin finally showed itself, which made his father stare at him in awe as he realized how important his son was to the clan... and how much of a target his son was... and was immediately impressed that his son had hidden his Shiin for so long... he even picked a time when no one would see him. The next thing he noticed was what the shin looked like, and saw the silvery blue muscle expand over his son's body, which made him look a lot bigger than he already was at this age. The very next thing the man would notice was a fist launched directly into his jaw... as a side note, they were about fifteen feet apart, and there was no noise to this movement. Akuma had dropped his weights and launched the fist at his father's face before he could comprehend that his son was an Armor Akari... and that he'd been beating this gift for so long.

Akuma stopped with that punch, dismissing his Shiin immediately after the punch, leaving his father on the floor rubbing his jaw. Akuma watched his dad, waiting for a response as if that was the purpose for hitting him. Now, Akuma's father was a Jonin, he was a rather durable man with plenty to keep him from getting whooped, but his son caught him by surprise in a lot of ways, and he stayed lying down rubbing his jaw, staring at the ceiling.

It didn't take long for Akuma to get through school, becoming a genin on sheer grounds of his physical ability. He was a strong competitor who seemed to be the only one without a Shiin in his clan... which of course made people suspicious. They thought he had an Astrashiin, they ambushed him often finding that despite having the element of surprise, he took endless amounts of damage without throwing a punch... and when he does throw a punch, its after they've exhausted themselves. One by one, Akuma's attackers would mysteriously vanish... one moment they were supposedly winning a fight, the next they would be unconscious, and before they'd wake up... they'd be eaten without even once seeing their target's Shiin. Upon graduation to becoming a genin, Akuma had more access to things that would assist his training. His training sessions became more intense and he wouldn't go home without breaking his previous record.
