[NPC] Karuki, Hibiki

Post by Archives » Tue Sep 18, 2018 12:54 pm

Owner: Iwagakure no Sato
Stat Trainings: (25/25)
Karuki, Hibiki
Jounin Commander of Iwagakure no Sato

[Nindo]

General Information Age: 50
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 223 Lbs
Physical Features:
  • Face/Head: Thick jawline, features that look as if they were carved from stone, and a larger nose lend to Hibiki's image as the stone-faced Jounin commander of Iwagakure. His eyes are small, so brown they appear black, with visible creases below them made more pronounced whenever he adopts a stern look. He wears his black, slightly graying hair loose, coming down in straight lines to his shoulders and he keeps his face clean shaven.
  • Body: Hibiki is heavily tanned and heavily scarred from his years of military service as a Jounin for Iwagakure. Strong shoulders and a broad chest give him the image of strength and add to the deception that he is a physical powerhouse.
  • Notable Features: Perhaps his most notable feature is the scar across his forehead, a perfectly horizontal line just above his eyebrows, often hidden by his bandana.
Clothing/Accessories: Hibiki is most often found wearing the traditional garb of an elite Jounin of Iwagakure, though in a different colour scheme to the usual tans and browns. Covering from top to bottom is a black jump suit, lacking a left sleeve but holding a long, billowing right one that easily conceals his right hand. His flak jacket lacks any pockets, simply serving as upper body protection that covers his back, torso, and shoulders; leaving his neck and arms exposed. Tied around the flak jacket, keeping it closed, is a multi-purpose belt fitted with a pouch in the front and back for carrying equipment. In place of a standard forehead protector Hibiki wears a bandana fitted with the metal plate of Iwa on the front of it which serves to keep his hair out of his face. The only non-traditional part of his garb is the cloth belt hanging from his waist that covers a large portion of his left thigh, bearing the mark of the Jounin-commander. Hidden below the cloth is a dark purple thigh holster
Personality: Hibiki is first and foremost a soldier; he has spent the majority of his fifty years of life in service to the Tsuchikage and it reflects in his actions. He is orderly and has a distaste for dishonesty, despite his preferred combat methods, which often puts him at odds with those that would lie and cheat their way through life. He has an extremely low tolerance of failure and does not play nicely with others; those that fail him are often dealt with harshly, either put to grunt work for months on end or sent to the north to waste away in the cold on perpetual 'guard duty'.

Hibiki gets along quite well with his subordinates and soldiers, though one would be hard pressed to see it given his gruff and taciturn nature, for a few simple reasons. He is willing to fight on the frontlines alongside his troops, despite his speciality with Genjutsu, which is something the other Iwa shinobi have looked down upon in the past. He will often see fit to promote men that he respects, those who are brutally honest or serve him well and make no mistakes due to their own mishaps.

Hibiki fights hard and fast with no room for error or mercy. While he has spent a lifetime working on his skills in all the ninja arts, his true calling is with Genjutsu; such is his skill with the art that he no longer requires the use of hand seals to ensnare his victims.

Concentrations

Doton:
Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
SpoilerShow
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.
Fuuton Affinity:
Fuuton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.
SpoilerShow
Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/3rd the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 19 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 6 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.
Chalk Style:
Chalk Style
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Chalk, an extension composed of Fuuton and Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Chalk. Chalk style has a clustering effect. You must be a current or former Iwagakure shinobi, and have both Fuuton and Doton to utilize this concentration.
SpoilerShow
Chalk's main combat application however is it's unique clustering effect which causes airborne chalk particles to cling, bind and mass together against any surface they strike, causing the victims to begin having formations of dense chalk that robs them of mobility and can, at it's highest level, petrify targets in place. Fittingly for an extension of Doton, this can also be used to reinforce existing barriers or objects temporarily, in addition to it's obvious offensive uses. Below is a table detailing the strength of this chalk binding, the area it can cover and the post limit it exists for, based on the Ninjutsu requirement of the technique.
[ul]
[li]1-10 Ninjutsu Requirement: 3 Strength across 1x1x1 meter area for 2 posts.[/li]
[li]11-20 Ninjutsu Requirement: 7 Strength across 1.5x1.5x1.5 meter area for 3 posts.[/li]
[li]21-35 Ninjutsu Requirement: 15 Strength across 2x2x2 meter area for 3 posts.[/li]
[li]36+ Ninjutsu Requirement: 20 Strength across 2.5x2.5x2.5 meter area for 4 posts.[/li]
[li]45 Ninjutsu Requirement: 30 Strength across 3.5x3.5x3.5 meter area for 5 posts.[/li]
[li]50 Ninjutsu Requirement: 35 Strength across 5x5x5 meter area for 6 posts.[/li]

These genjutsu allow the user to completely recreate reality within the heads of their target, and interact with them in various ways through the techniques. Overlay stand out as a threat in genjutsu users as they lapse on a single second in real time, but can last extremely long in the heads of the target.
Warp Genjutsu:
This user has learned to combine the basics of Status and Illusion genjutsu, allowing them to use single techniques to create sensory illusions, as well as status changes on their target.
Sight Initiation:
This user has learned to use visual cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to perform actions, or draw the eyes to something to capture their targets in a genjutsu.
Sound Initiation:
This user has learn to use sound cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to create sounds and sustain sounds to capture their targets in a genjutsu.
Sensor Initiation:
This user has learned to use their chakra's presence to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to initiate genjutsu in people who notice them with sensory techniques.

Advanced Channeling:
This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any genjutsu that is designed to be channel, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method. To get this concentration the user must be a Genjutsu Specialist, and have picked Control as one of their specialized stats. Channeled Genjutsu cause the user to be surrounded in an aura of chakra while channeling the genjutsu, until the genjutsu is initiated.

Jutsu
SpoilerShow
[Genjutsu • When Pigs Fly]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
A rather simple genjutsu that is put into place when the user channels chakra and then says a statement ending in "When Pigs Fly". Seconds later, anyone who hears the user say that will see several pigs with full hawk wings fly past, just a few feet above the user and the victim’s head, serving as a somewhat confusing distraction.

[Genjutsu • Pins and Needles]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.

[Genjutsu • Smell Of The Deceased]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra, any victim that sees the user preforming the hand seals will be induced under the genjutsu. This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

[Genjutsu • Paranoid]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, then point indiscriminately. Should the target see the pointing motion, they'll be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 4 posts, the target will see a shadow in the corner of their eyes, constantly shifting out of view when they attempt to look at it.

[Genjutsu • Boom!]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

[Genjutsu • Doubt]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, then whistle, initiating the genjutsu in anyone who hears the whistle. For the next three posts, the victims of this technique will feel tinges of doubt when listening to other people talk. While the doubt isn't strong, it creates a slight feeling that can be used to dissuade them from following instructions of other people if utilized properly.

[Genjutsu • Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The user will channel the needed chakra and make eye contact with the target. Once cast, the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion. The illusion is at the discretion of the user. However, they can only make a stationary image, or a visual loop, not a controllable visual illusion. Examples would be a decapitated head on a table, or one of their friends running in circles on fire. This illusions may only last up to 4 posts, or until the user ends the jutsu themselves. As a note, this only effects sight.

[Genjutsu • Burning to Death]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique which can be used in quite a few ways. The user channels the needed chakra, and as long as the opponent(s) see it, then the genjutsu will begin. The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. The opponent will normally start to panic and try to get rid of the fire, especially since they feel as if they were in actual pain. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts and will not appear to be able to be extinguished, no matter what the victim does. The illusion is very static, in the sense that it doesn't change with the environment, it merely creates an illusory flame and pain.

[Genjutsu • Reverse Hypnosis]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja channels the needed chakra and then places a hand on the target. Until the genjutsu ends the target is able to remember a lot more about their past and has a lighter barrier over their consciousness making it easier for them to spill information. This doesn’t weaken their will, however, meaning if they are aware it’s a genjutsu, they are more than capable of using Kai.

[Genjutsu • Dull Pain]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user channels the needed chakra, and then locks eyes with the target to trap the target in the genjutsu. For the next 10 posts, any pain that the target feels as if nothing really happened, effectively lessening all pain and nerve responses. The target would still be damaged, but any damage done to them would feel as though it hadn't happened, and as such they will usually overestimate their own stamina.

[Genjutsu • Calm]
B-Ranked Warp Genjutsu
The user channels the needed chakra, and then breaths out, expelling their breath onto their target. If successful, a 4 post long genjutsu will begin on the target. Over the course of the genjutsu, the target won't be able to feel any wind, and if it's raining, the rain will appear and feel like a light drizzle, regardless of how intense it really it. The target will also feel a sense of calm course through their body, as if all their senses have been slightly dulled, usually causing them to relax, be less stressed, and less inclined to combat. Originally created for the use of execution in combative prisoners, the technique now proves to be an effective method in combat to regain control of the battle field.

[Genjutsu • Heaven Earth Swap]
B-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra and making eye contact with the opponent, the user will initiate this genjutsu. For the following four posts, the target’s vision will seem to be flipped, so that up is down and down is up.

[Genjutsu • Sensitivity]
B-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, the user must make eye contact with the opponent. When this is achieved, the genjutsu activates and all of the victim's senses become 1.5 times more sensitive for 4 posts. This leads to much more pain in combat(ex: Blinding jutsu would be much more effective, sound jutsu, etc.).

[Genjutsu • Fear]
B-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, the wink at their target. Should the target see them wink, they'll be caught in the genjutsu. For the next 4 posts, the target will have a sense of fear originating from the user and things they do. If the user takes a step forward, the target will be more inclined to take a step back, threats will have a higher efficacy, and they'll be more inclined to simply do what they can to avoid having to fight the user.

[Genjutsu • Communicate]
B-Ranked Overlay Genjutsu
After channeling the needed chakra, the user will place a hand on their target, initiating this overlay. The overlay lasts for 4 posts, transporting them to an open field. The sky is a mix between day and night, with both the sun, and stars visible in the sky. The user and his target will be sitting in the field, cross legged, where they can talk. Jutsu will fail, they have no weapons on their person, and all their physical stats are set to 5, making combat nearly impossible.

[Hush]
B-Rank Status Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra and then whistle. If the opponent hears the whistle, it will activate the trigger. This genjutsu will muddle up their cognitive speaking. The target will believe he is speaking or making noise, but in reality is actually producing no sounds. This lasts for five posts unless the opponent uses Kai.

[This Sorrowful Life]
B-ranked Status Genjutsu
After user channels the needed chakra, the user will sigh. The sound of the sigh serves as the trigger for the genjutsu. For the next four posts, the victim will feel their hidden depressions and sorrows bubble to the surface slightly, making them more open to talking about past mistakes and the like. If the genjutsu is used on a person with no major emotional baggage, or a person that is unshakably upbeat, it will have little to no effect. On the flip side, those already predisposed to depression and negativity will be affected more by the jutsu.

[Genjutsu • Journey into Black Darkness]
A-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that is activated after the user channels the needed chakra and makes eye contact with the target. Once caught, the ninja's opponent becomes enveloped in total darkness. While in the black void, the ninja will be unable to see any incoming attack or threat. This lasts for 5 posts.

[Genjutsu • Alzheimer’s]
A-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This jutsu can be extremely useful when used at the right time during battle. After channeling the needed chakra and making eye contact, the opponent forgets how to use all of the ninjutsu and genjutsu they know, except basic jutsu. They don’t realize they have forgotten though and if they try to use one of the jutsu they will just flounder with it confused and nothing will happen. Lasts 2 posts.

[Genjutsu • Temple of Nirvana]
A-Ranked Warp Genjutsu
This is a Genjutsu technique that allows the caster to place a large body of people into an unconscious state by channeling the needed chakra and whistling loudly. Once the targets hear the whistle, they will see feathers falling down, and, if the opponent realizes this is a genjutsu, they just need a genjutsu stat of 10 to break out of it. If they don't break out of the genjutsu, the target will fall asleep at the end of that post.

[Genjutsu • Visions of Dread]
A-Ranked Overlay Genjutsu
The user channels the needed chakra and then making eye contact, the user emits an deafening screech, continuing to do so for two posts. Anyone that hears the this for more than two posts while making eye contact will freeze up and be ‘teleported’ to another dimension. In this dimension, there is a small room where spikes line the walls, ceiling and floors, so stepping anywhere would cause intense pain. The ceiling is covered in wax, which constantly drips down and burns into the skin of anybody underneath it. There is a fire in the center of the room, which will easily burn anyone who touches it. The main point of the fire, however, is that it is constantly burning human flesh, which leaves the horrid smell in the air. In addition, the air is filled with a dense smog, which is a constant irritant to eyes. On the third post, a door appears, which allows the target to escape from the room. However, since the room was rather dark, the sudden transition from the illusion’s lighting to the real world lighting causes the target to take the remainder of the post to adjust their eyes before they can see normally.

[Genjutsu • Visions of Fear]
A-Ranked Warp Genjutsu
After the user channels the needed chakra and eye contact have been made, the target will begin to see things. This allows the user to tap into the target’s consciousness and find their fears and make them look real. They may begin to see animals, people, or things that they’re terribly afraid of. This genjutsu will last for 4 posts.

[Genjutsu • Smell Control]
A-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 30 Control, 30 Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, focusing on, and then pointing at their target. Should their target see this pointing motion, the user will take control of their sense of smell for the next 5 posts. The user can create any scent, make things not able to be smelled, or anything in between.

[Genjutsu • Sensory Control]
A-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 34 Control, 34 Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, focusing on, and then pointing at their target. Should their target see this pointing motion, the user will take control of their chakra sense for the next 5 posts. The user can create, mask, or disfigure any chakra sense picked up by the target.

[Genjutsu • Sound Control]
S-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 38 Control, 38 Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, focusing on, and then pointing at their target. Should their target see this pointing motion, the user will take control of their sense of hearing for the next 5 posts. The user can create any sound, make things not able to be heard, or anything in between.

[Genjutsu • Defeat]
S-Ranked Status Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 46 Genjutsu, 50 Control
The user has to be within 5 meters of the target. After channeling the needed chakra and meeting eyes with the opponent, they will quickly fall into this technique. With each step the genjutsu user takes, the victim will feel a steadily increasing feeling of defeat. When the user is finally right in front of the target, they will be so overwhelmed that they will fall to their knees in fear and have a horrible sick feeling of dread. While the attempt to make any fatal attack by the genjutsu user will immediately break the genjutsu, this feeling in the victim will make them answer almost any question with complete honesty. The word fatal is key, however, as the user can freely beat and physically injure the opponent while they are in this trance, they simply cannot kill. This feeling of defeat can last for up to 10 posts.

[Genjutsu • Sight Control]
S-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 40 Genjutsu, 45 Control
The user will channel the needed chakra, focusing on, and then pointing at their target. Should their target see this pointing motion, the user will take control of their sense of sight for the next 5 posts. The user can create any sight, make things not able to be seen, or anything in between.

[Genjutsu • Eternity]
S-Ranked Overlay Genjutsu
The user will channel the needed chakra, then touch their target on the forehead. If successful, the target will be transported into an empty world, their hands and feet bound to the ground with shackles that they can't seem to break no matter how much they resist. The user will then appear in front of them, and is able to attack and torment the target however they see fit. While the genjutsu only lasts for about 10 minutes (5 posts) for the user, every second feels like an hour to target, making the genjutsu feel like it lasts for 600 hours. Any weapons or objects the user needs will appear from no where for their use.

[Genjutsu • Touch Control]
S-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: 50 Genjutsu, 50 Control
The user will do a series of hand seals, focusing on, and then pointing at their target. Should their target see this pointing motion, the user will take control of their sense of touch for the next 5 posts. The user can create any feeling, or completely remove the targets sense of touch, or anything in between. This devastating genjutsu can completely alter the course of combat.

*Chalk Style • Wash
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a series of hand seals the user of this technique creates a one foot diameter orb of chalk in their hands, which they then throw out. This orb forms into a flowing stream of chalk that moves at 6 speed, moving up to 10 meters in distance and striking objects with 4 strength in a 3 foot by one foot by one foot wave.

*Chalk Style • Flow
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
While forming a set of hand seals the user slams their foot down, sending out a 4 speed wave of chalk that is up to seven inches deep and one foot wide, traveling up to 6 meters in a straight line and striking anything in it's path with 6 strength. This chalk remains on the ground for up to 3 posts.

*Chalk Style • Float
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming the requisite seals the user claps both hands together which sends out a 5x5x5 meter cloud of chalk at 4 speed up to 6 meters away. This cloud has no actual striking strength but is thick enough to obscure vision and is constantly in motion, even when resting; It lasts for 3 posts and anything inside the cloud is affected by chalk's passive at the start of each post.

*Chalk Style • Pierce
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals the user is able to create a two foot long, six inch radius 'spike' of chalk that they then launch forward up to 7 meters at 5 speed, striking with 5 strength. This technique may also manipulate existing chalk within 4 meters to erupt into the spike at an angle to strike an opponent, but must remain stationary where it was created and as such only it's initial formation may strike a target.

*Chalk Style • Grasp
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
Forming a series of seals and then pushing a hand into the air, the user launches a baseball sized orb into the air which then erupts at 4 speed into a one foot diameter cloud. This cloud moves up to 6 meters and will condense around anything it touches, trapping them in a 6 strength grip. This binding lasts for 3 posts.

*Chalk Style • Trace
D-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals, the user creates a fine pile of chalk dust in their palm that they then blow on, sending out a thin stream of the dust. While useless offensively, chalk is amazing at bonding to even small traces of material; Fingerprints, oil prints from shinobi sandals, blood, even things such as indentations in paper. Chalk dust created this way still effects the object it touches with it's passive, but in this case it bonds to it and makes it visible for only as long as the passive lasts and may reveal objects up to the passive's size.

*Chalk Style • Burst
C-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals the user claps their hands down onto the ground, causing chalk to flow into the dirt at 7 speed. This causes a section of ground within 12 meters to become a trap; The chalk builds under the surface within a 3 meter diameter and any step on the bare ground that is made at over 15 Speed or not protected by a countermeasure technique will trigger a 13 Strength blast of chalk up at the victim. This blast lingers in a 1x1x1 meter cloud for 3 posts.

*Chalk Style • Blanket
C-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a series of hand seals, the user throws their arm out and sends a 7 meter long, 3 meter thick arc of chalk out that blankets an area no greater than 14 meters in total size. This chalk flows out at 10 speed, buffeting anything caught inside with 10 strength and settling on the ground where it lasts for 4 posts.

*Chalk Style • Billow
C-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming the requisite seals the user claps both hands together which sends out a 9x9x9 meter cloud of chalk at 12 speed up to 8 meters away. This cloud has no actual striking strength but is thick enough to obscure vision and is constantly in motion, even when resting; It lasts for 4 posts and anything inside the cloud is affected by chalk's passive at the start of each post.

*Chalk Style • Enarmour
C-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a set of hand seals the user blows out over their arms at 9 speed, creating an 11 strength defensive coating of chalk that flexes and bends with their arms and fingers. Due to a thin layer of chakra on the chalk, the user is not affected by the passive clustering but blows they strike on an opponent still affect the target with the passive. In addition chalk is an excellent writing substance and the user can draw, write or even mark opponents specifically with the proper attack.

*Chalk Style • Clump
C-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
Once the appropriate seals are formed, the user blows out thickly into the air at 10 speed. This causes a 5x5x5 cloud of chalk dust to travel at the same speed up to 13 meters away. The first target it impacts is hit with 10 strength and surrounded by the chalk, enveloping them and attempting to bind them in the chalk. This chalk lasts for 3 posts, or until broken.

*Chalk Style • Wedge
B-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
Forming a set of hand seals and then thrusting their hands out, the user causes a billowing, harsh blast of chalk in the form of 22 speed, 3x3x3 meter orb to rush forward. It slams into it's first target with 18 strength but immediately begins flowing into the target, attempting to fill any cracks, defects or openings in the target and wrench them apart all at once.

*Chalk Style • Barricade
B-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
Performing a set of hand seals and then throwing their hands up, the user causes a 8x8x2 wall of chalk to erupt upwards from the ground at 12 speed; The wall has a strength of 28, but because of the nature of chalk anything that impacts the wall must also break through the passive clustering to impact the wall. This makes the wall incredibly durable, but because of the nature of chalk it cannot hold it's shape without focus from the user; The user must focus on and hold this technique, otherwise the chalk collapses into powder. This may be held for a maximum of 4 posts.

*Chalk Style • Drift
B-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming the requisite seals the user claps both hands together which sends out a 11x11x11 meter cloud of chalk at 20 speed up to 12 meters away. This cloud has no actual striking strength but is thick enough to obscure vision and is constantly in motion, even when resting; It lasts for 5 posts and anything inside the cloud is affected by chalk's passive at the start of each post.

*Chalk Style • Demolish
A-Ranked Chalk Ninjutsu
After forming a series of hand seals, the user places their hands together and causes a large amount of chalk to erupt from underneath them at 30 speed. This chalk then condenses into a 3 meter diameter stream that surges at a single target, the user holding their pose, where it begins to repeatedly assault them with slams, smashes and thrusting attacks at 20 strength, so long as the user holds their focus for a maximum of 4 posts. Each hit causes the clustering effect of chalk to begin taking effect, acting as a new application of the technique.

The three man cell was sent out on various menial missions during Hibiki’s tenure as a chuunin with a light peppering of C-rank missions here and there to give them some combat experience they’d surely need for their chuunin exams. As the exams came upon them, Hibiki threw himself into training fiercely. He used all of his available resources to grow strong, from his father and mentor to even his team mate’s clan mates.

It was no surprise for anyone when both he and his genin partner passed their chuunin exam with flying colors. Their squad stayed together, officially turned into a three-man chuunin cell which began to partake in higher ranked missions as each member grew stronger. Their mentor was promoted to special jounin shortly after their own promotion to chuunin.

Death is something that one is unable to avoid within the shinobi lifestyle. During one mission, the intel given to them had proven to be inaccurate and led to the team’s mentor sacrificing himself so his excellent students could survive. In addition, life sought it fit to throw another curve ball at the chuunin. His father had been gravely wounded during a mission and lost his left arm below the elbow, rendering him unable to continue as a battlefield operative. His father was limited to administrative duties from this point onward.

Hibiki, being young, blamed himself for both his mentor’s death and his father’s injury. He shut himself off from everyone else within his life and focused solely on his training. He began to take missions by himself and lost contact with his one true friend during this time. The incidents hardened Hibiki and turned him into a man who sought to bring glory to Iwagakure rather than enjoy his life. His dedication to Iwagakure no Sato and his growing skills earned him a promotion to Special Jounin.

His time as a special jounin was uneventful. Similarly to the end portion of his chuunin career, Hibiki continued on with taking missions by himself and made it his own personal mission to become as strong as he could be. His progress was noted by several higher ranked shinobi within Iwagakure and after a period of years he was promoted to Jounin.

Hibiki’s career as a shinobi continued on. The promotion to Jounin had happened soon after his 30th birthday. His father and mother had finally both retired from their jobs while Hibiki continued on his path as a shinobi. During his time as a jounin, he was able to reconnect with his old Genkouyoushi team mate. Through the process of reconnecting and bonding over their experiences, the two grew close and eventually married. The couple had a single daughter which, besides his life, is one of the brightest things within his life.

At age 35, Hibiki was recognized personally by the Tsuchikage and promoted to the esteemed rank of Bannin. Along with this promotion, Hibiki was given the title ‘Jounin Commander’ by his leader. He was to be the one who would lead and command all shinobi forces within the village on a daily basis and serve as the right hand man and advisor of the Tsuchikage.

Hibiki has held the spot of Jounin Commander for 15 years as of now. He proudly embraces the title and does his best to make sure the village’s forces run smoothly while assisting the Tsuchikage when needed. His most demanding duty as of now as Jounin Commander is the discovery of a large series of caverns and tunnels beneath Iwagakure no Sato. For the glory of Iwagakure no Sato, Hibiki shall not fail in this task or any other.
