- General: Hachigo's life was obey obey obey from the very beginning. She never had a thought of disobedience. She may have played a bit as a toddler, but she never got to play as a kid. She was the only kid in the compound because typically the slaves were not allowed to procreate. Breeding slaves tended to cost more than just having them. As such, she has no concept of joy, glee, or fun. She has been essentially programmed to listen and not rebel. Even during school. She never refused what was asked of her unless it violated orders from someone higher. This intractable adherence to rules is what keeps her alive. As she constantly heard while working that slaves weren't allowed to die.
Now that she has some freedom as a shinobi owned by the state, she finds herself doing things she never even thought existed. She has something called "downtime", where she can "relax" or train. She has had people come up and willingly talk to her for no reason other than to talk. It kind of weirds her out, and even after four years, she is still expecting an order to come out of the "conversations." Her life was and still is making the lives easier for other people. Now, she is expected to protect the lives of the entire village. - Hopes/Dreams: One day being free and respected as another member of society. Maybe even one day getting married.

- Combat Mentality:She is slowly learning more and more about how her body operates and what she can do with it. Her fighting style isn't pretty but it is effective. If she is not utilizing Kouton Jutsu for range she will attempt to just run through things. Punching and kicking are viable tactic when your weight is measured in megagrams. The resisting element encompassing most of her body makes her pretty fearless in danger, knowing that it takes more damage to kill her than others. She is no spectacular fighter by any means.

From those spots, the user is able to create up to 25m of wire, and cause it to approach and wrap around something at [Control] Speed and Strength. Fourteen years ago, the still night air was broken by the sounds of screams. The Kuroyama estate over seeing some of the iron mines was awoken by the screams. The owner, a Jounin and business man, ran quickly to find the source. When he found it, he saw one of his female slaves giving birth. Angered he nearly attacked her for disturbing his sleep with disobedience, but when he saw a child being born, he halted and had a medical-nin called. That child was never given a name as she would be sent to a different mine when she was old enough, far away from her parents. Since she was to be the 85th slave his family owned since taking them in, he had her registered as Hachigo.
For the first three years of her life, she was just like any other child. Crying, screaming, laughing, needing attention. But when she was four, she was tested to see if she understood orders and punishments. The owner came to her and gave her a ball, then asked for it back. She gave it back. He then threw it and told her to go get it and bring it back. Which she did. This was enough for him as he had one of his assistants walk her away and across the village to another mine he operated. There she was immediately put to work under some of the older male slaves. She would pick up the ore and take it to the carts. Others would load it for her, until she was tall enough to put it in herself. This became her new life. And this was the only thing she did for years on end. She grew up, but she just just expected to carry more ore, until she was the strongest of the group and expected to push a cart.
One day the mine was shut down as the owner came to inspect it. He ordered her to follow him as he went through it. At the end of the tunnel, the others were dismissed and he produced a large chunk of metal. He told her to hold still. She did not understand what was happening. THe owner was testing out a sealing ritual using Kouton that he had intended as a git for his daughter that was expecting to be promoted soon. The pain in her chest when the ore touched it was unbearable. As hard as she tried to not make a sound, she soon found herself curled up on the floor. Feeling her body crush down and enter the stone. It was the first time she ever questioned anything. As the last thing she said was "Why?" The owner left, seeing that the sealing was painful and thus a failure. He would not subject his own child to such torment.
As the month went on, she was soon forgotten about. She never really had a name, just a number that sort of resembled one. Deep in the mine, her agonizing screaming soul reached out, grasping at what she could. Around this chunk of steel, raw iron was collecting and compressing. Her anguish was constant until her body finally formed. Three months after the sealing, the metal monster emerged from the mine to the fright of everyone, slave and Owner alike. Hachigo was alive, and she immediately started working. Though incredibly sluggish. Seeing opportunity for his daughter, he sent the now ten year old slave girl to the Shinobi academy. His plan was to get her just enough training so his daughter could have a decent Kouton pet. That would earn her Jounin status this time.
Hachigo was a quiet, reserved student. She showed up for classes, avoided idle chat, went home, did work, and even studied when she wasn't working. Her skills, while improving, were not yet at the level of other students. But one of the administrators pulled her aside and worked with her to get her body up to that of a ten year old. She had the average physical abilities of a teenager by the time she was a teenager. The academy passed her, seeing an easily teachable Kouton weapon ripe for the molding. They just needed the right teacher. One her final day of classes, her instructor walked her back to the Kuroyama estate with payment and negotiated the purchase of Hachigo. While the owner didn't want to part with her, his patriotism and grief over the loss of his daughter were enough to close the deal and send her away.
Now a Genin, the Military slave was just settling in for a brand new life. The day she graduated felt like her first birthday. She didn't have the words or emotions really to express herself.
