Physical Features: Yukino is slim woman with generous curves around her hips and chest. Due to her extensive physical training, she is quite toned in her arms, legs, and core. She is very attractive, often regarded as stunningly beautiful. Her eyes are iridescent in color; primarily blue and pink, there are also hints of yellow, purple, and cyan. Yukino has long platinum hair that, when loose, reaches just above her knees, she typically wears it tied back in either a braided ponytail or a messy bun.

Clothing/Accessories: Her everyday clothes almost always consist of short, dark slinky silk dresses with a low scoop neckline, and at times she’ll wear sheer black leggings to protect against the cold. She will often complete the look with gold bracelets and earrings and a white puffy jacket with a grey fur collar.

When she was active as a shinobi, she would wear a tight black bodysuit. The bodysuit had mesh on the belly and sides, with an intricate pattern in darker mesh. The front of her right thigh also has a mesh cutout pattern, and the lower legs of the bodysuit is a very dark teal. The bodysuit has diamond-shaped cutouts at the hips. Yukino’ wears a high-necked cropped cheongsam style top, with cutouts at the shoulders and poofy grey sleeves from the elbow to mid-forearms. The top has gold trim around the collar, chest, and shoulders. Yukino wears black gloves, fingerless save for her middle finger. She completes the outfit with open-toes heels, and usually paints her nails some shade of blue.

Personality: Flirtatious and friendly, Yukino is generally an easy girl to get along with. She loves parties, dancing, and anything related to being boisterously social. She's good at reading people and uses that skill to get what she wants - especially from men. At her worst she is impatient and selfish, as she's at a point in her life where she puts herself and her own interests and pleasures above all else. In the rare times she's involved in shinobi work she becomes more serious due to the cold, quiet rage within her direct towards such work.

History
On a frigid winter morning, a woman named Miyako gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. From the moment the white-haired infant opened her unique iridescent eyes, her mother and father showered her with love. They named her Yukino, after the glistening snow that coated Iwagakure when she was born. Her father Miroku was a warrior monk who tended a temple dedicated to Kārī, the goddess of death, time, and salvation. From the age of four, Yukino was trained to be a miko, a priestess, who was expected to dedicate her life to not only the village but also to the goddess Kārī. The outgoing girl found the work dull, but she adored her father and did her best to please him.

When she was 8, Yukino moved away from the temple and into the home of her wealthy merchant uncle. Like all Iwagakure children, she was enrolled into one of the village's many shinobi academies for her mandatory education. She made friends easily and was popular from the start. Once she showed a talent for chakra control and hand to hand combat, she was placed on the shinobi track. The girl excelled, and she graduated near the top of her class. While still practicing as a young shrine maiden, Yukino progressed quickly; only a year and four months after graduating, she passed the chuunin exam and was promoted.

Two weeks later, the war erupted. At only thirteen, Yukino was placed in charge of a small team whose job was to clean up battlegrounds once the fighting had moved on. She was occasionally involved in scuffles with enemy ninja, but she didn't engage in many full on battles. During this time her father taught her the Kushou-Ryūjin Soujutsu style since the war made it impossible for her to travel safely to he Holy City of Towers. But only three years into the fighting, her father was killed while defending lands to the south. Her father's death nearly broke her. Yukino spent the rest of the war training in order to occupy her mind when she had the energy to do so, and her fragile mental state kept her far from the battlefield. She was instead stationed in a village in western Earth Country and helped refugees relocate and adjust.

Just after her eighteenth birthday, the war came to an end. Sick of the fighting, Yukino sought to denounce her job as a shinobi and retire. She was determined to be her genuine self: a fun-loving, social, and most of all normal girl. The war had robbed her of not only her teenage years but also her personhood, and she was determined to spend her young adult life getting it back. Not even a promotion to special jounin, awarded to her at the war's end due to her leadership in Western Earth Country, could stop her from taking a formal break.

Bringer of Salvation
A polearm, 6'4" long, forged from rare metal that gives it an eerie pale blue glow. The blade takes up 20" of its total length. The weapon has been blessed at the temple of Kārī, a goddess of death, time, and salvation. The polearm has 45 durability. When this weapon cuts, the target suffers Kārī's Judgement, a continuous debuff to their speed. The target will loose 8 speed per post for 5 posts.

Her weapon Bringer of Salvation is sealed in a beaded bracelet made of the same metal of the weapon. Yukino unseals her weapon by channeling a small amount of chakra into it. She wears it on her left wrist.

This simple technique involves thrusting quickly with the user’s long weapon from a distance before quickly pulling back their polearm to prevent counters. This techniques most useful aspect is that it can be used while in motion without affecting speed or momentum.

*Kushou・The Courtier Taps his Fan
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
This simple technique involves proper use of the pole of the user’s weapon to deflect blows. By properly angling and manoeuvring their spear or staff they can deflect other like weapons, hand to hand blows or even sword blows by striking the right place at the right time, even while in motion.

*Kushou・Parting the Silk
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: * Kushou・Low Wind Rising
This simple technique involves engaging an opponent’s weapon or one of their arms and moving it slightly to one side with the user’s weapon. This creates a very small opening which the user then exploits by kicking the opponent, keeping their weapon guarding the opponent’s arms.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. While in this stance, the user will be able to deflect projectiles with less strength than their own, while also making unpredictable movements of their spear.

*Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will vault themselves into the air using their polearm and then unleash a powerful blow from above. This technique is used to disorient and surprise foes as well as overpower them as it strikes with all of the user’s body weight and momentum from the spin they perform in the air in order to strike with the spear that was touching the ground moments before.

*Kushou・Folding the Fan
C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: [Sword Weapons] concentration
A supplementary stance of the Kushou style, Folding the fan involves pulling back the user’s polearm and using only a portion of its length in order to engage briefly in shorter range with opponents. This sacrifices the user’s range advantage, but also allows them to more properly deal with those who get inside their range. This allows the use of a polearm weapon like a sword weapon.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *Kushou・Low Wind Rising
This is the core technique of the Kushou Style. The user will begin in the Low Wind Rising stance and then approaches their opponent. They will begin with a wide arcing blow to begin this combination of blows. Following this they will spin their polearm and their body as they follow their opponent across the battlefield, chasing them down as they block and evade. This technique takes the user’s entire post, and can strike a number of times equal to half their speed. Those who block more than one blow will suffer a -3 to Strength for 3 posts as the weapon’s momentum and force jars their body.

*Kushou・The Swallow Rides the Wind
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
The user of this technique must first launch themselves high into the air as if with The Swallow Takes Flight. They will then begin to spin and unleash a flurry of blows from above. The user is capable of performing up to three strikes in the air, each of them prolonging the user’s airtime. The Swallow Rides the Wind is useful as it maintains the advantageous high ground and all of the forward momentum toward the opponent throughout all of its blows, giving the user an effective +6 Strength and -6 Control for the three blows.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
This technique is a kind of mental preparation for the constant movement and spinning involved in the Kushou style. This enables the user to gather snippets of vision, sounds and tactile sensory information in order to be properly aware of the battlefield around them whether standing still or in rapid circular motion. The user is effectively aware of their surroundings within 25m of their person, able to recognize when attacks are coming and the body positions of opponents.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
While rare for a practitioner of Kushou-ryu to be on the defensive, this technique is designed to facilitate effective defence against other close ranged opponents. The user of this technique is constantly aware of distancing between the opponent and themselves, and therefore will aim all of their strikes to prevent the opponent from closing the gap using their long weapon. This will make it extremely difficult for those with less skill than them to get close to the user safely without somehow neutralizing the user’s weapon.

*Kushou・The River Undercuts the Bank
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will first block an incoming strike. Then, they will almost immediately cease resisting, causing the opponent to fall forward slightly and lose their balance provided they do not possess a Perception technique of equal or greater rank. This successfully created opening allows the user to raise the lower end of their weapon to strike from inside the opponent’s guard, typically at either the groin or the chin with full strength.

*Kushou・Watered Silk
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will strike the ground with one end of their weapon hard, dragging it in a line. This will fling a cloud of dirt, rock and dust up into their opponent’s eyes as if the user had thrown it. The use of one end of their weapon in this enables the immediate return of the opposite end for a follow up strike at either a blinded opponent or an opponent that is quite predictably dodging the debris.

*Kushou・Threading the Needle
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
After either blocking an opponent’s strike or having one of their strikes blocked, the user will flick their weapon. Using their great leverage and range to their advantage, the user is able to skillfully dart their weapon around the opponent’s existing guard for a series of quick thrusts aimed at their torso.

Kushou・Closing the Fan
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of thie technique forcefully slams the tip of their weapon on the ground and leaps upward, momentarily balancing on the tip of their weapon. The user then twists their body to flip over their weapon, using the momentum to bring their weapon down in a powerful strike.

Kushou・Twister Through the Valley
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user begins with a downward slash, simultaneously torquing the muscles in her legs. She then thrusts forward while twisting her body along with her weapon. The user dashes forward, spinning her body and weapon like a drill.

*Kushou・Kingfisher Circles the Pond
A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 Speed
The user of this technique will take a moment to prepare themselves before dashing full speed around an opponent in order to strike them from behind. The strength of this technique comes from the extreme acceleration used in it, causing those without a Perception Technique equal to or greater the user’s speed to be unable to follow the user’s movement at all. The user will then make a powerful thrust at the opponent from their new position.

*Kushou・The Lion on the Hill
A-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
The user will balance the tip of their weapon toward the ground before them while facing the opponent side on and rising the rear end of the weapon into the air. This stance concentrates a lot of the user’s power and agility into their legs, enabling them to dash short distances (5m max) at maximum speed without acceleration time after a moment’s preparation. This is extremely taxing on the user’s Endurance however, and costs them 1 Endurance each time they dash.

A-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *Kushou・Twisting the Wind
The user of this technique begins a relentless onslaught upon an opponent. They take a moment to prepare their legs before dashing forward. This technique is used to pursue opponents and wear them down with repeated spinning attacks. Opponents with a speed lower than the user’s will find it difficult to safely move away from the user while they pursue them. Those that block or are hit by two or more blows will have their Strength reduced by 6 because of the jarring nature of the blows for 6 posts.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to 10 meters away. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

*Fuuton • Wind Skating
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their ability to translate force (-3 Strength). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

*Fuuton • Enhanced Launch
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at [Control] speed. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

*Fuuton • Redirection
D-Ranked Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user covers a projectile they are holding in fuuton empowered wind. Then, when the weapon has been thrown as normal, the user is able to change it's direction by up to 90 degrees once with no drop in momentum on the projectiles part. This technique only lasts one post.

*Fuuton • Wind Bullet
D-Ranked Jutsu
After performing the required hand seals, the user expels a basket ball sized ball of wind from their mouth. This ball of wind travels up to 10m at [Control] speed, and explodes with [Control] Strength on contact with solid matter or at the end of its range.
