D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A partially automatic technique once learned, but can be stopped if need-be, the user is able to cause the manifested form of their shiin to deflate at command or whenever they go unconscious. While the uses of this aren't directly obvious, it does allow them to hide the fact that they do in fact have a shiin.

~Perfect Balance
D-Ranked Discipline Taijutsu
Type: Melashiin, Temershiin, Phasmashiin, Eroshiin, and Lacrishiin.
Due to training with their shiin, Akari members are much more at balance than those without a shiin. This holds especially true for those with temershiin, as the tail-like protrusion provides a counterbalance. This also allows for clan members to use their shiin as legs for balance, if able.

* Kushou・The Courtier Taps his Fan

* Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver

C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: [Sword Weapons] concentration

History
Historical AccountsShow
While Touji’s childhood was not eventful, all of his fondest memories stem from there. Unlike many people in the world, he was blessed with loving parents who did everything in their power to ensure he felt treasured and supported. He idolized his father, an active Jounin of Iwagakure no Sato, and loved his mother more than anyone in the world. It was thanks to their combined efforts that Touji was able to build the confidence that allowed him to face the world head-on. Growing up, he got into a lot of fist fights with other Akari children from higher castes. He couldn’t stand the way they looked down on him and his parents due to their caste. This often led to him getting in trouble with his parents and the clan overall. Eventually, as he grew up, he learned how to choose his battles.
Touji was not a remarkable student in the academy, but what he lacked in skill, he made up for in effort. No one was surprised when he obtained the title of Genin and started to go on his first missions. Not long after his promotion, his mother fell ill, barely being able to take care of herself. With his father often having to leave for major missions, this left Touji having to request a lighter workload while he had to take care of his mother. Despite this, he made sure to work out twice as hard and forced himself to keep walking down the path of a warrior. His growth was slow but came to a sudden halt at the age of fourteen, however, as he received word of his father’s death. Touji was told that his father had died a warrior’s death, taking many of the enemies down with him, but would later find out that there was more to the story. One of his father’s good friends fought alongside him that day and claimed that the boy’s uncle had betrayed his father and used the opportunity to take the man’s shiin after his death.
Enraged at his uncle but powerless to do anything about it, Touji was left with no choice but to silently bide his time. He decided it was best not to inform his mother of the betrayal and continued to train himself in hopes of one day avenging his father. With him having to care for his sick mother full-time, he decided to resign as a shinobi and take on a trade. The boy performed various odd jobs, ultimately settling on a job as a carpenter. It was hard work, and he spent what little time he had left in the day taking care of his mother and training. For five years, he worked to make ends meet until his uncle, now a somewhat higher-class member of the Akari family, offered to pay for his mother’s care. As much as it made his blood boil accepting money from the man who stole his father’s shiin, it was the perfect opportunity for him to get stronger. So Touji reactivated his shinobi status and set out on the long path to reclaiming his father’s shiin.
