- Face/head: Asuna possesses fairly soft facial features with bright blue eyes and long white hair that has grown out to hang down to the middle of her back.
- Body: Having come into her own Asuna stands tall for a girl her age but still appears to be a bit delicate, although perhaps not quite as delicate as she may appear at first glance. She has slim shoulders and a relatively small waist which combine with her rounded hips and a now ample bosom to give her nice curves. She also possesses a fair amount of lean muscle although it typically doesn't make much of a presence unless closely observed with her stomach having the most toned muscle and even that is barely visible to the untrained eye. Her skin is slightly pale but soft and mostly unmarked, mostly thanks to the wonders of medical ninjutsu and her own unwillingness to get any tattoos or piercings.

Personality:
- General: Asuna through hard work and the efforts of her companions and mentors has largely overcome her anxiety, showcasing a newfound confidence in both herself and those around her, though that's not to say she's completely without fear or nerves though she has learned to accept even that much as a part of herself. She's even become largely unafraid to show her true self being a girl who is quite expressive and even affectionate towards those she is close to. While still fairly short tempered and emotional at heart she has learned to better calm her emotions when necessary. However she's not perfect at keeping herself in check, rarely backing down when challenged and even enjoying the thrill and exhilaration that comes from a well fought fight.
- Hopes/Dreams: Having become a Dagger of the Seven Asuna still wishes to one day to prove herself worthy of the seat of Overseer but before that she wishes only to get stronger and capable enough to defeat one of the present Swordsmen and take a seat within the Seven proper.

Sheathed on her other side is her prized sword Komodo no Kiba (Fangs of the Komodo) a katana of traditional length; a 30 inch blade with a 12 inch hilt. The blade of the weapon bears numerous serrated teeth along it's edge, causing any wounds dealt by the blade to take twice as long to be repaired by things such as Iijutsu and regeneration abilities.

Violently torquing the muscles in their legs, the practitioner more quickly accelerates to their maximum speed (or instantly accelerating to their max speed if their Strength is equal or higher than their Speed) than with normal movement. With this movement, the practitioner bolts toward the opponent and launches an attack, cutting the opponent as they pass to their side. This technique can be used while moving to immediately change direction instead before launching the attack. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique.

Making use of the trademark speed of Iaido to intercept enemy attacks, the practitioner draws their blade in a wide arc. Additionally, so long as the practitioner's Speed is equal to or higher than the opponent's Speed, this technique can be used to intercept and interrupt an opponent's technique or attack by striking the weapon or an area of the opponent's body before the attack reaches maximum strength and staggering them.

Using Iaido to its fullest requires a keen eye and quick reactions, enabling its users to target weaknesses and openings that their opponents present almost instantaneously. This Discipline reduces the gap of time between a practitioner recognizing a potential opening for attack and launching the attack to exploit said opening to almost nil.

This does not offer protection against attacks that the practitioner does not know is coming.

Unlike most of Iaido's techniques, Silent Passing is not particularly useful in the heat of combat. Instead, it is an attack meant to be executed from a standing position, such as while casually walking towards an opponent. Once in close enough proximity to the opponent, the practitioner draws their sword, strikes the opponent's opening, and sheaths their blade with such speed, it appears to the untrained eye that the practitioner continued to simply walk past their target. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, the opponent will not be capable of fully avoiding this attack if they are in range without some sort of passive defense.

Shinden:D-RankedEmerging from the depths of the Marsh Country, Shinden is a style of Kenjutsu that focuses on one thing and one thing alone: overwhelming strength. While not completely forsaking flexibility, Shinden techniques are traditionally structured around downward slashes. Using a combination of their strength, gravity, inertia, centrifugal force, and technique, the practitioner brings unsurpassed might and death upon the heads of their opponents. Due to this quirk unique to Shinden, while sufficiently performed with a katana, users of this style typically prefer hafted weapons or heavier blades such as Nodachi, Odachi, and even Zanbatou. These large weapons further enhance the natural strengths the style's core mechanics provide, forgoing defense for brute strength and overwhelming power.

Landing the first blow makes it more likely that the second attack will find purchase on the opening created by the first attack of this technique. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will cause immediate localized inflammation and hairline fractures on the point of impact.

A simple yet devastating technique, the practitioner executes a powerful thrust towards the opponent. At the end of the thrust, or just as the blade is making contact with the opponent if it hits, the practitioner violently rotates the blade in any single direction and finishes the technique with a slash in the direction the sword was twisted. This additional rotation and slash at the end can further damage opponents or catch an opponent that has evaded the original thrust by strafing to either side, ducking, or jumping.

Charging at the opponent, the practitioner grips the weapon's hilt or haft with one hand and rests their other hand on the pommel or butt of the haft or hilt with the other. As they drive their weapon forward in a thrust, the practitioner quickly torques the muscles in their forearm, wrist, and hand on the pommel/butt of the weapon and spin the weapon in their hand like a drill, greatly increasing the penetrative power of the thrust as they drive it into the opponent's guard and, hopefully, through their bodies. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will cause hairline fractures, localized inflammation, and minor internal bleeding.

The practitioner will momentarily dig the tip of their weapon into the ground, quickly build a large amount of tension in their muscles. The practitioner will then release the tension into a wide, sweeping cut in any single direction, curving away from the ground to avoid lodging their weapon into the ground if choosing an overhead swing. If the practitioner's Strength is 5 higher than the opponent's Endurance, this technique will knock the opponent up or away a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength in addition to the damage normally taken from this technique. The practitioner can immediately transition into a defensive weapon spin to shore up openings after the technique if they wish.

The practitioner will engage their weapon in a continuous spin, the weapon spinning in multiple directions so as to cover the practitioner on all sides. This seemingly chaotic series of spins actually serves as a simultaneous defense and offense for the practitioner, allowing them to both defend against an opponent's attacks and projectiles as well as rush the opponent with a flurry of alternating strikes from a variety of angles. The practitioner can maintain this technique for a number of posts equal to their Strength stat.

The practitioner throws a hooking punch into the side of their opponent's face around the orbit socket, twisting on the ball of their foot to add some extra force to the strike. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

The practitioner crouches under an opponent's strike before uppercutting them with an open palm strike to their lower rib cage, attempting to break the lower ribs and debilitate the opponent's breathing. If the full force of the blow lands, the opponent becomes short of breath, and the damage can possibly cause bones to put pressure on their opponent's lungs, making breathing even more difficult. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

The techniques can be used interchangeably for users of spears, staves, glaives and similar weapons. These techniques were developed by the military of the Holy City of Towers, rumoured to have been passed from the Holy Mother herself to the males of her land centuries ago. Those who wish to learn the secret techniques of the style must travel there and convince them to teach them. The style itself revolves around keeping the user’s weapon and body moving in order to manoeuvre around an opponent’s guard, or beat their way through it. Requires: [Hafted Weapons] and [Deft Hands].

This simple technique involves engaging an opponent’s weapon or one of their arms and moving it slightly to one side with the user’s weapon. This creates a very small opening which the user then exploits by kicking the opponent, keeping their weapon guarding the opponent’s arms.

The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. The user will vault themselves into the air using their polearm and then unleash a powerful blow from above. A supplementary stance of the Kushou style, Folding the fan involves pulling back the user’s polarm and using only a portion of its length in order to engage briefly in shorter range with opponents. This sacrifices the user’s range advantage, but also allows them to more properly deal with those who get inside their range. This allows the use of a polearm weapon like a sword weapon.

This is the core technique of the Kushou Style. The user will begin in the Low Wind Rising stance and then approaches their opponent. They will begin with a wide arcing blow to begin this combination of blows. Following this they will spin their polearm and their body as they follow their opponent across the battlefield, chasing them down as they block and evade. This technique takes the user’s entire post, and can strike a number of times equal to half their speed. Those who block more than one blow will suffer a -3 to Strength for 3 posts as the weapon’s momentum and force jars their body.

Prerequisite: * Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
The user of this technique must first launch themselves high into the air as if with The Swallow Takes Flight. They will then begin to spin and unleash a flurry of blows from above. The user is capable of performing up to three strikes in the air, each of them prolonging the user’s airtime. The Swallow Rides the Wind is useful as it maintains the advantageous high ground and all of the forward momentum toward the opponent throughout all of its blows, giving the user an effective +6 Strength and -6 Control for the three blows.

This technique is a kind of mental preparation for the constant movement and spinning involved in the Kushou style. This enables the user to gather snippets of vision, sounds and tactile sensory information in order to be properly aware of the battlefield around them whether standing still or in rapid circular motion. The user is effectively aware of their surroundings within 25m of their person, able to recognize when attacks are coming and the body positions of opponents.

While rare for a practitioner of Kushou-ryu to be on the defensive, this technique is designed to facilitate effective defence against other close ranged opponents. The user of this technique is constantly aware of distancing between the opponent and themselves, and therefore will aim all of their strikes to prevent the opponent from closing the gap using their long weapon. This will make it extremely difficult for those with less skill than them to get close to the user safely without somehow neutralizing the user’s weapon.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will strike the ground with one end of their weapon hard, dragging it in a line. This will fling a cloud of dirt, rock and dust up into their opponent’s eyes as if the user had thrown it. The use of one end of their weapon in this enables the immediate return of the opposite end for a follow up strike at either a blinded opponent or an opponent that is quite predictably dodging the debris.

The circumstances of Asuna's birth and early childhood are a mystery to most who know her, the girl having simply one day appeared on the doorstep of a Kaguya woman by the name of Riki, the apprentice of the Overseer of the Seven Swordsman at the time, Kazuki Ryoga. Despite being immensely puzzled the young woman nonetheless took the girl in, doing her very best to raise the girl as her own, instilling her own values as well as some of her master's teachings.
Growing up Asuna felt a great deal of love and pride towards her adopted mother, from a young age holding the dream of becoming a shinobi then joining the Seven herself and even one day becoming the Overseer. There was one problem however. As Asuna reached the age where she finally entered into the academy Riki began to find that while the girl wasn't really the shy type, quite the opposite actually, she did get easily flustered during training and nerves would often get the better of her. Luckily Riki in her youth had had a similar problem and so was prepared, finding to her delight that the calming techniques she taught the girl were immensely helpful in helping her to better focus on the task at hand.
It was thanks to those techniques as well as a desire to regularly improve and overcome her weakness that she made her way through the academy, passing her final exams with flying colors and becoming a Genin.
It was around the start of Asuna's Genin years that she lost her mother, Riki having collapsed from exhaustion and blood loss while on the way home after a vicious battle that she had somehow won. While the news had left her distraught, she didn't let it keep her down. While it took a bit of time for her to recover, it was in the end thanks to a talk with her adopted grandmother that she realized that rather than wallowing she should work to honor her mother's memory and make her proud.
And so she began training as hard as she possibly could alongside her newfound rival, a Karagata boy. Neither of the pair really liked each other much, but both were fine with it as it only helped to fuel their rivalry, Asuna even finding that in their clashes her nerves didn't affect her much.
While the pair clashed and fought repeatedly as Genin, their greatest bout soon came in the form of the Chuunin Exam. For the first time in a long while Asuna found herself getting nervous but she took a deep breath and cleared her mind. With her nerves overcame the fight began, each of the pair giving it their all, but in the end it was Asuna that stood on top, her excellent victory earning her a promotion. She was now a Chuunin and one step closer to her dream.
