Tsukino Hisato

[None Yet]

[Strength is all that matters in the end]

General Information Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 6'3
Weight: 225 lbs
Physical Features:
  • Face/head: A slender face with a strong jaw line outlines Hisato's face coming down to a gently rounded chin, three vertical lines that become smaller as they move away from the shinobi's chin cheeks appear almost like whiskers and are a byproduct of his merger with the fox spirit. The young man has shaggy, unkept looking black hair that is between two-to-four inches in length across his head while the front bangs frame his rather handsome looking face with a set of almost dull looking grey eyes. Seated atop either side of the sun kissed skin of the man's head is a pair of raven hue furred fox ears that extend to three inches in length at the top point
  • Body: Traveling down from the young man's face and slender neck one can first begin to see the trap muscles that extend from the top of his muscled shoulders, hinting at the rather well-developed physical characteristics that can be found across his upper body demonstrating a mixture of an athletic body with that of a weightlifter, seeming to find the perfect medium between the two. A muscular chest and set of arms from years of physical training and perfecting his sword arts are normally hidden from sight by a single lay of dark colored kimono style robe, but a feature even more striking than their rather muscled appearance of the young man is the numerous sword scars that can be found upon the entire upper torso.

These all lead down to a very defined core that demonstrates his strict diet and stringent training regime before revealing his muscled legs that scream of being training for speed and agility. Though the most striking feature perhaps of all is the one-meter-long, black furred fox tail that grow from the intersection of the spine and pelvis upon his lower back. Starting out thin they grow rather 'fluffy' looking between the middle half before tapering down to a pointed in, the tail can normally be found with t0he tip curled up into a tight circle. Dark blue or black cloth pants hid the upper legs of the shinobi as they are wrapped at the shin lith dark bandaging as a dark color set of shinobi style sandals adorn his feet. Both the young man's fingernails and toenails are more like claws, being around an inch long and coming to a sharp point as the teeth in his mouth are more like fangs from a canine than those of a human.
  • Notable Features: Fox like features of ears, sharp teeth, claw like finger and two nails, and his tail. Multitude of scars found on his upper torson (front and back)

Picture:

Personality:
  • General: If one were to use a single word to describe Hisato it might be Machiavellism, one who is cunning and calculative. Decently intelligent and very aware of his surrounding and situations being one who likes to be the one in control of every situation that he can be, even if he doesn't allow the other party to know that he's in control over them. Primarily concerned with himself and his own advancements to the point he will willingly cooperate with anyone who will further his own ends. A seeker of fortune and fame with little concern for the people they trample along the way. Placing value in strength and ability alone.

In terms of defining his alignment he could almost be considered a lawful evil type of man who methodically takes what he wants within the limits of his code of conduct without regard for whom it hurts as he no longer has to worry about what his village thinks or its laws. He cares about traditions, loyalty, and order but not so much about the freedom of others, dignity, or life. He plays by his own set rules molded from the ethics which he developed within confinement with his own personal spin on things, without mercy or compassion and often blurring the line of shinobi and serial killer.

He is fairly comfortable in a hierarchy and would like to rule but is willing to serve someone as long as they have demonstrated their superiority to himself and have proved this to him personally either against him or in front of his own eyes. He is a man who openly condemns others, not solely according to their actions but more so according to their race, religion, homeland, and/or social rank, or power. If you aren't strong, then in the man's eyes you are just trash that is in his way.
  • Hopes/Dreams: To reach the title of a true shinobi through becoming one of the powerful members of the Mist Swordsman.
  • Fears: Dying a meaningless death for or because of someone weaker than himself,
  • Combat Mentality: Not one to truly fight a head on battle if he can help it, first using either concealment ninjutsu or deceptive illusionary techniques to allow him to strike hard and fast. Normally looking to end a fight in the first few exchanges with his blade.

Invisible BladeShow
Description: A sword with a slender metallic hand-crafted hilt of a dark purple and black metal six inches in length, meant for being wielded with a single hand and from the hilt extended a clear blade that seemed to be forged from some sort of rare crystalline material. The blade is rather thin and long, being less than an eighth of an inch thick, two inches in width, and thirty inches in total length. Sheathed over the man's left shoulder in a plane black sheath.

Strength: 50

Effect #1: The jagged edge of the sword design creates such wounds that they are unable to heal on their own through normal regeneration abilities. Requiring high level Iijutsu to fully heal. (A-Rank Effect)

Effect #2: The transparent structure of the Crystal Blade is very difficult to see, especially when wielded by the Fox shinobi. To accurately see the movements and attacks of the blade the enemy needs to possess a S-rank Visual perception technique.

Effect #3 The glass like sword has a truly nasty, jagged edge along both cutting sides and its sharp piercing tip. Those wounded by the blade causes a target to bleed excessively, because of this the target will suffer a [-8] Endurance Debuff for the next [5] posts. Requiring medical attention to be healed from. (S-Rank Continuous Debuff)

SSM EquipmentShow
Focus of the Blade:
A single shoulder pauldron worn by ratified members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, the pauldron is iron grey, with the insignia of the SSM inscribed into it and laced with gold. The pauldron offers no defensive bonus but acts as a D-rank sensory enhancement for the wearers sight, hearing, and sense of smell. This small enhancement of the senses allows the swordsmen you keep perfect awareness of opponents within 3m of them, increasing their combat efficiency.

Abilities and Concentrations
Abilities
First Ability
Kitsune no Kao:
After merging with a fox, a Tsukino inherits many of the fox’s own physical features and potential. This takes the form of a small amount of the fox's features, namely a pair of foxlike ears and foxlike tails which multiply as their own powers grow (3 tails at Chuunin, 5 at Jounin, 9 at Bannin or Kage).

The main ability of these foxes however are their extrasensory systems. A Tsukino’s ears are laced with vibration sensitive fur that forms the basis of a network of sensory paths in their brain, allowing them to feel nearby vibration as a form of sonar-sight. This works only in a small space around them but is greatly enhanced by nearby water as the liquid vibrations carry cleanly to their ears, allowing them to hear disturbances to water especially well. Even masses of vapor such as mist transmit such vibrations well.

Without adequate water a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Stat Total/10) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and more clearly, up to (Stat total/5) meters out.

This advantage comes with its own downside. Much as a normal person can be blinded with intense light a Tsukino’s sense can be temporarily shorted out by intense noises. Techniques that cause conflicting vibration can also dampen their senses, but these can be overcome using techniques.
MergingShow

The Tsukino merging process is not something done like Genma or Spirit sealing and does not require the same process. It is a physical merging of both bodies, the human and the fox, into one form. The fox is essentially consumed by the process and does not exist, linger on or in any way continue to have its own form or identity. Its chakra does not remain, and only certain abilities (the Kekkei Genkai) are passed during the process.

The merging takes place via chakra techniques that resemble Iijutsu and piece-by-piece they break the fox down into the recipient Tsukino, altering them on a genetic level. When the process is over, the Tsukino is placed inside a dark room under watch to ensure the merging takes and before long, the physical attributes become apparent, often with drastic changes and pain. When it is over, the Tsukino typically spend a few days adjusting and recovering before they return to their lives.

Tsukino shinobi are merged post-academy graduation, right before they are assigned to a team.
Second Ability
Hydra Tails:

Utilizing the Tsukino merging process Hisato has undergone a second merger, but this time not with the traditional fox spirit the clan is known for but instead that of a rare hydra spirit. This type of physical merging in which the hydra spirit is essentially consumed by the process and does not exist, linger on or in any way continue to have its own form or identity. Its chakra does not remain, and only certain abilities are passed during the process. The merging takes place via chakra techniques that resemble Iijutsu and piece-by-piece they break the spirit down into the recipient Tsukino, altering them on a genetic level. When the process is over, the Tsukino is placed inside a dark room under watch to ensure the merging takes and before long, the physical attributes become apparent, often with drastic changes and pain. When it is over, the Tsukino typically spend a few days adjusting and recovering before they return to their lives.

After merging with the hydra, the Tsukino's tails have undergone a physical change as the black fur that previously adorned them has disappeared and has been replaced with interlocking dermal scales, these matte black scales begin at the base of the tails at the lower back of the shinobi and run the full length of each tail. These scales being hard to the touch, almost like metal, and having a strength equal to that of the ninja. Under the control of their owner, the tails have the ability to grow in size, but no greater than [Strength] meters in size, the tip of each tail is also capable of transforming into the head of the hydra spirit for [Control/2] posts. Follow on jutsu may be used with the heads when in this transformed status to make use of these hydra heads in various ways. When in this transformed state, Hisato is able to see and hear through all the tails simultaneously, the ears of the Hydra heads also being laced with vibration sensitive fur just like their owner's ears are.

MistShow

*Hidden Mist Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Kiri-nin
Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist Ninja. After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them. The mist covers 10x10x10m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 4 meters in any direction. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to 1/2 the user's Chakra Pool.

Mist Anchoring
D-ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, a mist technique of the user will become centralized upon the user, moving at [Control] speed in an attempt to remain anchored to them. A Fuuton ninjutsu of higher [Strength] is needed to displace it, allowing the mist jutsu to be maintained easier. Additionally, the duration of the mist will be extended by 3 posts.

Shadowy Mist Technique
C-rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Hidden Mist Technique, Mist Anchoring
After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them, moving at [Control Speed attempting to remain centered on the shinobi as they move. The mist covers 30x30x30m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 2 meters in any direction, while the thick mist dampens scents, weakening any advanced scent techniques. Due to the natural damping nature of this technique "Visual" and "Scent" based perception techniques loose one rank of effectiveness while inside the mist. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to the user's [Chakra Pool/2].

TaijutsuShow
Personal TaiShow

Blood Drop Thrust
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will specifically aim a fast and precise stab from his sword or other weapon(s) directly into the face/head of a target and in turn potentially the skull of his opponent. From the front the target point is usually the eye(s) of the target, being the softest target pathway into the brain and from behind is the base of the skull where it meets the spinal cord. While truly nothing more than a fast, simple stab, if landed in the right place it could easily become a fatal strike for their enemy.

Assassins First Steps
C-rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prereq: Stealth Conc
Having mastered control over his body, the fox-like shinobi has developed the ability to naturally move about without making excess noise or sound. Requiring his opponent to have an equal ranked Hearing Perception technique to detect the user's movements through sound alone.

Basic Hearing Enhancement
C-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prereq: Perception Conc
Concentrating upon the special furs that reside inside the ears of the Tsukino, the user will stimulate them allowing for their natural ability to become amplified. His powerful enhanced echolocation-style hearing, in point. These enhanced furs allow for the fox shinobi to extend their senses: Without adequate water a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Stat Total/6) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and are much more clearly defined, up to (Stat total/3) meters out.

[Spin Move]
C-rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Aware a projectile or attack flying along their projected path of movement, the user will pivot on their lead foot, circling their body around the projectile or attack. This will allow them to continue along their intended path without losing any speed, as long as the user's [Speed] is equal or greater than the attack and can perceive the attack. This maneuver does not allow the user to bypass their stats, but simply allows the user to maintain speeds when making movements.

[One Body, Many Weapons]
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Hisato has become extremely adapt in using all nine striking surfaces of the human body (knees, feet, elbows, hands, and head) to combat foes in close combat. But as a Tsukino he has pushed that boundary further, through intense physical and mental training traineding himself to utilize all of his 'fox tails', having them become an extension of the body just like his arms or legs are. Allowing the Tsukino to utilize every part of their body to its fullest extent. Even able to make use of even the smallest of distances when fighting in close range, capable of releasing a full-strength blow in as little as two inches of workspace against a target.

YoshinShow

*[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Detailed knowledge of the human body's vulnerabilities and weaknesses are fundamental to learning Yoshin. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of the precise location of all major organs, tendons, blood vessels, and nerve clusters on both their body and the opponent's body. This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Ambidexterity]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

*[Yoshin • Burrowed Arrowhead]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy]
Looking to cause the opponent as much pain as possible with minimal energy or effort, the practitioner launches a quickly snapping thrust meant to slip through the ribcage and lightly cut the outside of one of the opponent's lungs. Aside from causing significant pain, an opponent hit by this technique will have difficulty breathing, causing future techniques they use to take up more Endurance due to oxygen deprivation.

*[Yoshin • Skinning the Corpse]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Prey's Anatomy].
Exceptional Yoshin practitioners move beyond the basic knowledge of the body and delve more deeply into the study of the body. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of the precise location of all major and minor joints and tendons and all smaller nerve clusters on both their body and the opponent's body. This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Cripple the Paw]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Moving in close to the opponent, the practitioner launches a series of quick, snapping slashes and thrusts to the opponent's hands, causing deep lacerations. These cuts damage the tendons in the opponent's hands, interfering with their dexterity. These cuts cover sensitive areas between the fingers, knuckle joints, or even potentially under fingernails. While the damage caused by this technique is not life-threatening, it imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent, as well as making it incredibly painful, if not impossible, for the opponent to wield a weapon with their hand or hands. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Shatter the Hoof]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique to disarm opponents, the practitioner launches a snapping slash or thrust at the opponent's forearm, severing several key tendons in the forearm. The damage caused to the muscles and tendons in the forearm by this technique can cause an opponent to drop whatever they are holding. Aside from being disarmed and causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Strength penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Bear Trap]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Dropping low to the ground, the practitioner launches a quick, wide slash to the front of the opponent's shins. The cut targets a long nerve across the front of the shin which, if cut, can restrict the opponent's movements. Considering the size of the nerve being targeted and the relatively thin skin covering it, even cuts that only graze these nerves can be effective. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to movement of the legs becoming more difficult. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Incurvate Arrow]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Targeting the opponents torso and abdomen, the practitioner launches a series of quick snapping slashes. These lashes produce a series of evenly spaced cuts across the target's abdomen and torso. While these cuts are not life-threatening, the damaged muscles prohibit the opponent from fully drawing strength from their core and back into their limbs. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Sever the Tendon]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Dropping low to the ground and hooking their blade around the back of an opponent's ankle, the practitioner draws a heavy slash against the ankle's tendon, immediately causing a jolt of intense pain. The pain causes even the slightest step to send shocks of pain through the nerve. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to being unable to place weight upon the foot. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

*[Yoshin • Field Dressing]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Skinning the Corpse].
The practitioner of Yoshin further enhances their knowledge of the human body. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of the precise location of all joints, tendons, and nerve points on both their body and the opponent's body. This allows the practitioner to accurately target those areas even in the heat of combat.

*[Yoshin • Poison Arrow]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Yoshin • Field Dressing].
Aiming to target an opponent's sensitive nerve points or nerve clusters, the practitioner launches a series of quick slashes and thrusts at wildly alternating points of the opponent's body, making this technique difficult to defend against while not compromising the practitioner's own defenses. Common targets for this technique are the front of the shoulders, underneath the armpits, the solar plexus, the forearms, and the thighs. Striking any one of these nerve clusters will send a violent shock of pain through the opponent, temporarily overloading their nervous system and causing paralysis. The opponent must have a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique to resist this paralysis. Otherwise, the opponent is paralyzed until the end of their next post.

Weapon CraftingShow

*[Weapons Crafting • Tempering]
D-rank Weapon Crafting Discipline
Prerequisite: 5 Control
While often thought to be an enchanting process, the process of creating chakra tempered weapons is known to most any smith who has basic chakra control. The skill represents the smith’s ability to recognize minerals and ores that are good for accepting the tempering process and know how to temper weapons with chakra. This ensures all weapons made by this crafter are tempered and do not require a static strength.

*[Weapons Crafting - Reforged: Strengthening]
D-Rank Weapon Crafting Maneuver
The user uses their refined knowledge of special blacksmithing methods, their chakra, and other materials to enhance the capability of a weapon or item by increasing its [Strength] and [Endurance] stat by 5 points each time the technique is used on the item. Due to the crafter's level of proficiency, they are able to perform this crafting enhancement at half the normal cost.

*[Weapons Crafting • Intermediate Enhancement
B-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The smith has learned a variety of methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon, with B-rank in strength/complexity. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Jagged Edge]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique causes cuts made by the weapon with this edge to produce a profound bleeding effect. A continuous debuff of [-8 Endurance] for the next five post. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Illusionary Blade]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique allows Hisato to forge a nigh transparent, crystalline blade that when swung appears to disappear to the naked eye due to its thin design and glass like appearance. This produces a S-rank stealth effect on the blade while in motion, requiring an opponent to have an equal rank visual perception technique to clearly perceive those attacks made by this weapon. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

[Weapons Crafting • Master Enhancements - Glass Shards]
S-rank Weapon Crafting Technique
The weapon smith has learned a variety of advanced methods and techniques on how to add additional enhancements to a weapon with a mixture of unique components and materials, allowing for them to create complex weapon effects up to S-rank in strength/complexity. This technique causes cuts made by the special crystalline weapon to leave tiny glass like shards in the wounds it creates. These shards constantly dig deeper into wounds created by the weapon preventing normal regeneration techniques/abilities from being able to heal the wound alone, requiring advanced Iijutsu techniques to completely heal. Due to this knowledge and skill, they are able to forge this enhancement on a weapon or item for half the normal price.

ZantouShow

*[Zantou • Winter Solstice]
D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The basic Stance of Zantou, the practitioner holds one blade forward, parallel to the ground, and holds the other high over the head, pointing toward the opponent. The low blade grants the practitioner the ability to quickly defend against an opponent's attack while the blade raised overhead allows the practitioner to either quickly attack or counterattack with a powerful downward swing or thrust. This pairing of defense and offense serves as one of the cores of Zantou's swordsmanship. Drawing in a deep breath, the practitioner also gathers up their energy and releases a kiai. This Stance allows the practitioner to ignore non-critical distractions and minor environmental factors, such as small amounts of excess heat, small amounts of excess cold, small amounts of fatigue, and even small amounts of pain, allowing them to focus entirely on their opponents' movements and the tasks at hand. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +2 increase to Strength and +1 increase to Will Power but suffers a -2 penalty to Chakra Pool and -1 penalty to Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

*[Zantou • Winter Snow]
C-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter Solstice].
Building upon its parent technique, this Stance further builds upon further sharpening and refining the practitioner's capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand. The practitioner holds one blade forward, parallel to the ground, and holds the other high over the head, pointing toward the opponent. While in this Stance, the practitioner can more easily ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They also are able to ignore moderate heat, moderate cold, moderate fatigue, and even a moderate amount of pain. They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning more accurately in this stance, and they are able to read both the direction and the type of attack that is imminent. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +2 increase to Strength and Will Power but suffers a -2 penalty to Chakra Pool and Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

*[Zantou • Wolf Pack Paradigm]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Much of a human's movements are inefficient and waste energy, especially in regard to combat. The practitioner has learned how to fully synchronize and harmonize the movements of their body in and out of combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge and mastery of kinetic linking, the efficient movement and transferal of potential energy from one part of the body to the other, eliminating potentially wasted Endurance and chakra and allowing the practitioner to last longer than ordinary in a fight.

*[Zantou • Polar Bear Conservation]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Wolf Pack Paradigm].
The Zantou practitioner has learned to more precisely control their Endurance expenditures through the use of controlled and precise breathing. This Discipline represents the practitioner's proficiency at constantly using efficient breathing techniques both in and out of battle, further conserving Endurance and chakra. This Discipline ensures that only the exact amount of energy needed for each movement is expended, not a single iota more. This allows the Zantou fighter to endure and persist in battle long after other fighters would have passed out. This Discipline also allows the practitioner to function normally in oxygen-deprived environments, such as very high altitudes and vacuums. The practitioner can hold their breath on-demand for a number of posts equal to their Endurance stat.

*[Zantou • Winter Blizzard]
B-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter Snow].
Building upon its parent technique, this Stance further builds upon further sharpening and refining the practitioner's capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand. The practitioner holds one blade forward, parallel to the ground, and holds the other high over the head, pointing toward the opponent. While in this Stance, the practitioner can very easily ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They also are able to ignore high heat, deep cold, mild oxygen deprivation, severe fatigue, and even a severe amount of pain. They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning more accurately in this stance, and they are able to read the direction, the type, and the timing of an attack that is imminent. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +3 increase to Strength and Will Power but suffers a -3 penalty to Chakra Pool and Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

*[Zantou • Polar Bear Claw]
B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity].
One of the few full committal techniques of Zantou, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their arms. Then, in a single, explosive release, the practitioner looses a kiai and two crossing diagonal slashes from opposite sides. Opponents within a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength must have a Will Power equal to or higher than the practitioner's Will Power to resist the kiai effect. Otherwise, the opponents will suffer from minor disorientation from the disruption of the equilibrium, resulting in a -6 penalty to Speed for the next three posts. At the center of the attack, the second blade crashes into the back of the first, driving the first blade deeper into the opponent's guard, weapon, armor, or body. This technique is effective at breaking an opponent's weapon, armor, or defenses. The disorientation effect from this technique can be stacked with other disorientation effects and refreshes the post limit for any disorientation effect currently imposed on the opponents.

*[Zantou • Winter Maelstrom]
A-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter Blizzard].
Building upon its parent technique, this Stance further builds upon further sharpening and refining the practitioner's capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand. Drawing in a deep breath, the practitioner also gathers up their energy and releases a kiai. The level of skill the practitioner has attained allows the practitioner to effectively attack and block from a neutral stance without any detriment. While in this Stance, the practitioner can effortlessly ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They also are able to ignore extreme heat, extreme cold, moderate oxygen deprivation, extreme fatigue, and even extreme pain. They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning very accurately in this stance, and they are able to read the direction, the type, the timing, and the speed of an attack that is imminent. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +4 increase to Strength and Will Power but suffers a -4 penalty to Chakra Pool and Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

*[Zantou • Frost Dragon's Fangs]
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter Maelstrom].
Torquing the muscles in their arms, the practitioner unleashed a relentless flurry of twisting slashes and thrusts. With controlled twisting of the wrists and arms, the practitioner can immediately change the direction of any of these attacks, even to the point of converting a slash into a thrust and vice-versa. The unpredictability of this technique, complemented by the practitioner’s already muted movements, makes this one of the deadliest techniques in all of Zantou.

[Zantou • Frost Dragon's Roar]
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 30 Will Power,, *[Zantou • Polar Bear Claw].
Zantou harnesses the inner strength of its warrior to cause the opponent to lose hold of their senses. A more advanced version of its parent technique, the practitioner unleashes a mighty kiai, which bombards the opponent with violently vibrating air currents entering their ear canals. Opponents within a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength must have a Will Power equal to or higher than the practitioner's Will Power to resist the effect of this technique. Otherwise, any opponents in range of the technique will lose all sense of orientation, balance, and proprioception, resulting in a -9 penalty to Speed for the next four posts in the form of disorientation and extreme nausea to the point of uncontrolled vomiting. This technique can be used in conjunction with other techniques. The disorientation effect from this technique can be stacked with other disorientation effects and refreshes the post limit for any disorientation effect currently imposed on the opponents.

[Zantou • Fire Dragon's Roar]
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 30 Will Power,
Zantou harnesses the inner strength of its warrior to cause the opponent to lose hold of their senses. A more advanced version of its parent technique, the practitioner unleashes a mighty kiai, which bombards the opponent's entire body with violently vibrating sound wave currents. Opponents within a number of meters equal to the practitioners [Strength] must have a Will Power equal to or higher than the practitioner's Will Power and an equal rank Rigid Body technique to fully resist the effect of this technique. Otherwise, any opponents in range of the technique will experience a sense of muscle weakness, resulting in a -9 penalty to Strength for the next five posts in the form of disorientation and extreme nausea to the point of uncontrolled vomiting. This technique can be used in conjunction with other techniques. The disorientation effect from this technique can be stacked with other disorientation effects and refreshes the post limit for any disorientation effect currently imposed on the opponents.

[Zantou • Snow Dragons's Claw]
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 30 Will Power,
Zantou harnesses the inner strength of its warrior, the practitioner unleashes a mighty kiai, which is directed at their own muscles and nerve endings, boosting their efficiency over the course of the next five posts. This results in an increase of speed and reaction time (+5 Speed) for the user's body but as a drawback, a loss in fine control over the chakra in their body (-5 Control) until the 'kiai' effect fades.

[Zantou • Hidden Dragon's Intent]
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The practitioner has learned to strike and defend with movements that shift suddenly and ferociously. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge and mastery of movement and muscle control, to the point that their movements, attacks, and techniques have no telegraphing signs until they are already in motion. This makes it much more difficult for opponents to properly react to the practitioner's actions in combat. Opponents must have a sight-based or sound-based Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique to adequately read the practitioner's movements, attacks, and techniques.

*[Zantou Ougi • Eternal Winter]
S-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite(s): 39 Will Power, must be learned in the Frost Country Dojo or taught by someone who trained there, 10 Zantou Kenjutsu techniques.
Building upon its parent technique, this Stance sharpens and refines the practitioner's already considerable capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand to the finest point. The level of skill the practitioner has attained allows the practitioner to effectively attack and block from a neutral stance without any detriment. Drawing in a deep breath, the practitioner also gathers up their energy and releases a kiai. While in this Stance, the practitioner can effortlessly ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They also are able to ignore all environmental conditions, all forms of fatigue, all forms of pain, and operate within a vacuum or oxygen-void environments up to a number of posts equal to their Endurance stat. They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning with pinpoint accuracy in this Stance, and they are able to read the direction, the type, the timing, the speed, and the strength of an attack that is imminent. They are also able to read sudden shifts in muscle contractions very easily, able to perceive almost any feint. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +5 increase to Strength and Willpower but suffers a -5 penalty to Chakra Pool and Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish. Most important, however, is this Stance’s ability to break illusions that plague the practitioner’s mind. By channeling and releasing a powerful kiai targeting themselves, the practitioner momentarily forces their brain into unconsciousness while locking their muscles to prevent themselves from falling during this function, breaking any genjutsu they may currently be under but leaving a short opening that can be exploited right before they wake up. Doing this immediately ends the Stance and abruptly awakens the practitioner. Using this function of the stance immediately ends the stance and imposes a -10 Endurance penalty on the practitioner for the remainder of the thread.

[Genjutsu • Multiplying Strike]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, one handed seal if holding their weapon, anyone that is touched by one of the user's mist techniques in the next two posts of the user finishing their hands will fall under the illusion and be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 5 posts, when the user attacks with their weapon the arm striking with the weapon will appear to split into two additional arms as all three attack the target striking at three different angles. Making it more difficult to defend against the oncoming strike.

[Genjutsu • Demonic Illusion • Death on Repeat]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will perform some hand seals, one handed if using a weapon, and point their weapon directly at the target in question. Once cast, the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion. The illusion is at the discretion of the user. However, the visual is a short vision as directly in front of them near the user appears the most valued person in the target's life (best friend, family member, lover, ect) appear in front of Hisato facing the target. The target will see and hear as the user's kills that person either through stabbing them in the back through their heart as the blade exits their chest or through him decapitating them causing their body to fall upon to the ground remaining there for the next four post. *[Genjutsu • Burning to Death]

The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. The opponent will normally start to panic and try to get rid of the fire, especially since they feel as if they were in actual pain. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts and will not appear to be able to be extinguished, no matter what the victim does. The illusion is very static, in the sense that it doesn't change with the environment, it merely creates an illusory flame and pain.

*[Genjutsu • Reverse Hypnosis]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja does the hand seals that are needed and then places a hand on the target. Until the genjutsu ends the target is able to remember a lot more about their past and has a lighter barrier over their consciousness making it easier for them to spill information. This doesn’t weaken their will, however, meaning if they are aware, it’s a genjutsu, they are more than capable of using Kai.

[Genjutsu • What is Real?]

The user will perform a sequence of hand seals, one handed hand seals if holding a weapon, then hold their weapon out in front of them as if preparing to attack, anyone who sees this will their vision modified, causing them to see and hear two additional 'clones' of the user every time the user moves and see one of the user every time they stop. They will be one to the left side, one to the right side, and one to the direct front of the target, with the user choosing which way they want to move and the two clones filling in the other two directions. This will last for four posts.

*[Genjutsu • Temple of Nirvana]
A-Ranked Warp Genjutsu
This is a Genjutsu technique that allows the caster to place a large body of people into an unconscious state by performing the hand seals and whistling loudly. Once the targets hear the whistle, they will see feathers falling down, and, if the opponent realizes this is a genjutsu, they just need a Will Power stat of 15 to break out of it. If they don't break out of the genjutsu, the target will fall asleep at the end of that post.

[Genjutsu • Mist of Forgetfulness]
A-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This jutsu can be extremely useful when used at the right time during battle. After performing this jutsu, if the user's target(s) comes into contact with a mist technique created by the user during the next two posts the opponent(s) will temporarily forget how to use all of the ninjutsu and genjutsu they know, except the basic jutsu. If they attempt to recall a jutsu they will feel the same sensation as if a word is on the tip of their tongue, confused and nothing will happen. Lasting for 4 posts.

History
Historical AccountsShow

Born into the Tsukino clan, the young man even at birth had high expectations placed upon him from his father, Hyoui. His father was a powerful jounin who had hopes of becoming a member of the swordsman but hadn't managed to reach the level in his swords arts and personal strength to be recognized by the organization. Thus, as a child the man had already forced upon the child as soon as he could hold a wooden sword to begin training with it. While his mother, Nuwa, didn't really approve of this she didn't stop her husband.

His childhood wasn't about being a child or playing around with other children, but training to be a shinobi from his father's strenuous daily routines as he reached the age of eight and was brought into the academy already having a base knowledge of taijutsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu from personal lessons and daily training that really 'beat' it into the young child.

It only took two years for him to complete the academy, successfully taking the life of a rough looking beggar outside the village to truly seat the act of killing into the boy, as was the Kiri way. Two things occurred as he graduated, the first being his father bestowing upon him a rare sword that he had found while on a mission near Earth country and secondly was the ritual fusing of Hisato with the young fox from the Tsukino house elders through their special means.

Just as Hisato was about to truly begin his career as a genin, the Great War began and all the experienced jounin and chuunin were sent out on dangerous missions as the entire shinobi and minor country world became embroiled in bloody conflict that lasted five years. Though he was able to undertake missions the novice shinobi weren't of much help and were sent to do takes that at most had them venturing around Water country. During the war his mother died, and his father lost and arm and had injured his leg beyond repair to the point it was amputated below the knee.

Five long years before peace returned, though it was a shaky one. Under the rough hand of his father, Hisato continued to train in the sword and as a shinobi. Slowly forming his own goal to join the Mist Swords. Not because of his father's own personal desires but to show that man that he was better and stronger than him. To place the man in the shadows and for him to rise to become known...
