  • General:Achiyo is what most people would call a homewrecker. She has worked hard to maintain this personality so that she can call to heel almost any man. She usually fights with her allies, only coming to their aid in the most dire of straits. Honeyed words, leaning over a table to whisper in an ear, and a hip-twist are all in her arsenal for making sure that jaws drop and all eyes are on her while her companions do the heavy lifting. For this, she is called the ‘face woman’ of the small harem of men that she leads. She only barely passed the test to become a Genin, and that was only so that she would have the ability to go on missions and earn ryo while she was standing up, rather than laying down.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Achiyo’s dream is to be pampered by enough shinobi that she doesn’t have to make money herself, she can just rely on them to make it for her, living in total luxury while she does it.

Ninjutsu Hyouton has the ability to dynamically cool anything, rapidly decreasing the temperature of entities and areas via techniques and producing effects such as freezing, frostbite, and hypothermia. The temperature decrease, and the area they can decrease, is determined by the Control of techniques, with more talented Aisu able to create snap freezes that can kill with ease.
Inorganic targets can be frozen to a depth of [Control/10] metres per post if the Control of the Hyouton technique is greater than or equal to the Strength of the object. Organic targets experience the scaling effects below, unless healed by iijutsu or countered by techniques, of equivalent Control to the cooling effect, that provide warmth to the affected area for an equivalent length of time:
≤14 ControlTargets suffer from first degree frostbite, with the affected area turning red, painful, and experiencing localised swelling.
15–24 ControlTargets suffer from second degree frostbite, with the affected area turning a pallid white and blistering with localised numbness. The target suffers from -1 to Endurance for the remainder of the thread or until healed.
25–34 ControlTargets suffer from third degree frostbite as the deep tissues and blood vessels within the affected area are subjected to the intense cooling. Hypothermia begins to set in, inducing shivering in the target and reducing their Endurance by -2 for the remainder of the thread or until healed. Without healing, the affected area turns black after 3 posts.
35–44 ControlTargets experience fourth degree frostbite throughout a wider affected area, with the surface freezing too rapidly for any colour change to occur. The affected area will become entirely numb, and severe hypothermia induces slurring of speech and loss of coordination in the target. ≥45 ControlTargets experience such intense flash-freezing that joints and muscles being to seize throughout their body as even deeper tissues become frozen. After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their Chakra Pool draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's (Chakra Pool/2).

A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. Seals activated with this technique must be within 10 meters of the user's position.

By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. This chakra amount must be precise, and although all shinobi learn this technique, the user's control stat will determine how well this jutsu can be executed. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

A rather simple technique that allows the user to escape from a genjutsu. The user will form a single ram seal and focus to reset their chakra system to purge themselves of foreign chakra. The stat requirements for this technique can be found in the genjutsu rules.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 10 meter radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

Holding a throwable object or weapon in one hand, the user will channel hyouton chakra into it to prepare this technique. Once thrown during the next three posts, the temperature of the item will rapidly drop until it explodes, shattering into frozen shrapnel with the force of a single tag upon impact or at a 'kai' release from the user.

The user will inhale deeply and saturate their breath with hyouton chakra before slowly exhaling to perform this technique. As they breathe out, the area within a 15 metre radius of their body will rapidly drop in temperature to freezing conditions. This technique will freeze any natural moisture in the air or any airbourne particulates created with less [Control] and create a veil of ice that distorts vision in the area.

The user prepares a quantity of hyouton chakra within one of their limbs or weapons to begin this technique, and then attempts to make contact with an target. Upon striking, the hyouton will surge through the point of contact and into the target's body, shocking them with a distracting burst of intense cold and taking their breath away.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user channels a thin current of cooling hyouton into the air around them, mixing and weaving it around the warmer natural air to create a localised pressure differential and natural gusting wind. This can be used to push at and deflect airbourne entities within 10 metres of the user with [Control] strength, however is believed to be one of the oldest forms of hyouton ninjutsu ever devised by the ancient Aisu, who used it in a non-combat manner to master the waves and sail the oceans at speed.

The user channels a small pulse of hyouton chakra throughout their own body, carefully reducing and controlling their internal body temperature to prevent overheating through any external means. This jutsu has no range and can only cool down the user's body to the point that it can cause first degree frostbite on contact. This technique can last for five posts.

C-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will prepare a quantity of hyouton chakra into their throat to begin this technique, then exhale with icy breath onto an inorganic target. Any material within the area of the breath will be rapidly chilled to the point of brittleness, weakening it by [Control] strength.

The user prepares a quantity of hyouton chakra within one of their limbs or weapons to begin this technique, and then attempts to make contact with an target. Upon striking, the hyouton will surge through the point of contact and into the target's body, shocking them with a painful burst of intense cold and rapidly cooling the air within their lungs, resulting in a loss of -3 strength of the next four posts.

The user creates a circle in the air with motions of their arms or hands and unleashes a wave of prepared hyouton chakra through them at [Control] speed, attempting to intercept any katon or related techniques of equal or lesser strength. Upon making contact, the target technique will rapidly decrease in temperature to the point that it fizzles harmlessly out.

The user prepares a shell of hyouton chakra around their body, bringing the temperature of an isolated pocket of surrounding air to subzero conditions for the next five posts. So long as the user does not move faster than [Control], they will retain the frigid air shell and be able to apply its cooling effects with taijutsu strikes or to incoming strikes that have a Strength lower than [Control].

The user will prepare a large amount of hyouton chakra and unleash it into an area of ground within 30 metres of their location at a speed of [Control]. From the point of impact, the ground will rapidly freeze and turn into an icy tundra, spreading for up to 30 x 30 metres in a direction of the user's choice during casting. Plant life within this area will wither and die, the ground will become frozen to a hardness of [Control] strength, unable to be broken except by stronger techniques, and footing will become slippery and unstable for anyone without an appropriate traversal technique of equal or higher rank.

Achiyo was a promising student at the Academy when she joined at the young age of six, passing on to a Genin with the kill of one of the Academy 2 students in the forest for the exam with a jutsu that slowed the poor kid down and then inserted her kunai knife into their brain.

She cut off the head, as was customary when a genin made a kill and no one was around to see it and presented it to her father, who was one of her proctors. He only nodded and took it from her, handing it to one of her family’s bodyguards. The head was returned to the child’s parents and her father patted her on the head, proud of his daughter.

She was pledged soon after to the Hirohito family as was customary for her clan, and then Achiyo did what she always wanted to do: she became a sit-in.

Her body-guard who started out as a footman decidedly became her errand boy as she grew up. He started working for the family and was six years her senior. He took a liking to Achiyo, thinking of her as a little sister, and always knew that he couldn’t overstep his bounds with her. As she aged, so did he, but his prowess grew, while her tactical skills did.

Finally he was made to be the bodyguard of what her father, Korone, called, ‘the failed Aisu’. He was cold to her, but the cold never bothered her anyway. She was outclassed in almost every way by her two junior siblings, who fought and died for Kirigakure. The most recent one having been killed by a samurai from Heart in one of the skirmishes led by the ruthless Shogun Fuhen. Her father, too old for shinobi work, now looked to his only daughter, still thinking her a failure and has thrust her into the service of Kirigakure.

He even let her keep her blue hair if it meant that she would enlist without a fuss.

Having no more siblings, she has been recruited by her father to stand up and take up the mantle that she had let grow rusty by the way-side as her siblings had taken it. Begrudgingly, she begins her ascension to power now!

Personality: A staunch supporter of the Aisu family, he took a liking to Achiyo from a young age. He joined in the family’s service shortly after he became a genin, while Achiyo was only four. He helped her train for the Academy exam and doted on her more than her father would have liked. The user takes a stable stance with their arms wide and their legs slightly past their shoulders. They are turned slightly so either shoulder is facing their opponent. This stance offensively emphasizes powerful sweeping blows that are designed to break bones and cause great damage while defensively the stance focuses on resilience and forcing through to cause your own strikes to land through theirs.

The user's stance is low and focused on fluidity. They advance with each attack given or received, dodging to the left or right rapidly but always closing the gap. Once closed they attack with rapid, if unaimed, strikes focused on overwhelming their opponent.

This stance is focused on resilient defenses at the sacrifice of nearly all offensive ability. The user holds their hands open and their body perpendicular to their target. They use their strongest points to absorb incoming damage, protecting their core. Often they will grab or redirect attacks to simulate them sliding off a turtle's shell.

This is a neutral state that is often the start of most combat. It consists of feet spread shoulder width and arms held in a prayer-like position. They focus their senses to best understand which stances will be needed, and cleanse their habits from other stances to better emulate their next one.

The user makes a string of rapid attacks aimed at the collarbone, throat, and shoulder. They focus more on speed than power, causing each attack to be slightly weak but still damaging and very draining. If the user has more 5 or more Strength than their opponent's Endurance their collarbone will be broken, the shoulder severely bruised and difficult to move, and they will have trouble breathing.

The user will use their open hands and forearms to slow the momentum of incoming physical attacks. They will then angle and push against to force the attack behind them and away. While not complex, this nearly negates all damage from physical attacks that aren't pierce or slash based.

Prerequisite: [Perception]
The user focuses on their animal spirits and drops into a pseudo-meditative state. They focus their mind against goading and unnecessary internal distraction. While like this they have a lessened sense of self, seeing themselves as a vessel through which the animal spirits flow. However, they are more capable of switching between their stances with absolute fluidity, often doing so mid action.

The adept has reached the peak of their ability, thus learned the most potent stance of this style. By focusing their body the adept is able combine the most powerful aspects of all other stances into a single fluid style. Strong Fist:
This style focuses on being overall more physically powerful than your opponent. Users attempt to overwhelm defenses with great speed and strength while chipping away at their opponent’s endurance and keeping their own at the highest possible. Most attacks are simple in execution but extremely powerful in effect, causing battles of attrition to be in their favor.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
A neutral stance taken by even entry level practitioners. This stance involves turning your body to be perpendicular to your opponent. One foot is rested directly in front of the other with just the toes in contact with the ground. A hand is held back while the other is forward, pointing up. This stance provides ease of dodging incoming blows by using the least amount of motion possible while still being ready to launch into an attack.

S-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength or Speed
The user strikes forward with so much speed as to launch a vacuum. This vacuum creates suction with Strength equal to 4/5 the user's Strength, pulling in everything within 15 meters. This suction is nearly instantaneous and can cause significant damage if living creatures are caught in the area, collapsing their lungs if their Endurance is 5 or more points lower than the Strength of the vacuum.
BoneBreaker:
Bone Breaker Style was created by shinobi in order to disable another fighter quickly in a fight to prevent them from utilizing limbs, and weathering the opponent down by short powerful strikes aimed at weak spots in the skeletal structure to fracture or break entirely. The style is strongly based off the strength and taijutsu skill of the user. If a user is strong they can snap bones easily, but if they are uncoordinated the style is essentially useless, same if it was the other way around, a weak person cannot snap bones no matter how well they're coordinated. The style is an utterly bruteful and ruthless one used to typical lethally injure or disable an opponent for other means.

Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The practitioner grabs the opponent by the shoulders and attempts to drive their knee ininto the opponent's pelvis full-force, using the hard part of their knee cause a localized fracture.This fracture inhibits the opponent's ability to sprint or run, and it causes them to stand at an awkward angle, inhibiting their ability to stand in a stable fighting position. It also causes the opponent to be off-balance as they attempt to relieve the pain by putting more pressure into their knees. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Strength to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The practitioner closes in and delivers a powerful snap kick to the opponent's knee, attempting to bend it completely backwards, dislocating it or breaking the joint outright. This causes the opponent unable to stand on the afflicted leg without struggling to balance themselves. This also causes immense pain in the opponent's joint, making the injury hard to heal naturally. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Strength to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

S-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Strength
The practitioner tucks and rolls towards an opponent, attempting to slip under the opponent's attack and counter with a low attack. If the attack lands successfully, the practitioner will follow up with a full combo focused on the opponent's skull, rocketing up and uppercutting the opponent in the jaw in an attempt to dislocate it and start the combo. This strike then directly flows into the practitioner crushing their palms together on the opponent's temples before grabbing the opponent's head to smash their knee into it repeatedly, caving in the opponent's skull. The practitioner's Strength must be 10 points higher than the opponent's Endurance to achieve the desired effect of this technique.
Medicinal Arts:
While many medics have the luxury of chakra to treat their wounds, some lack that gift, and many others prefer to supplement themselves with more traditional means. The Medicinal Arts are a series of disciplines and maneuvers that display a mastery of traditional healing techniques and treatments. While anyone can learn them, true mastery of the Arts of Medicine demands a thorough knowledge of both these, Iijutsu, and surgical techniques.

The user will move towards a target with either a sharp weapon or their hand. Targeting a pressure point on their carotid artery, the user will either stab it (with a weapon) or pinch it (with their hand). Yukimura grew up as a member of the merchant caste of Kirigakure. He was in the middle of playing with some friends when his father strode around the corner, taking him by the cuff of his shirt and presented him to a man that would be his master from then on.

Instantly recognizing the emblem that the man wore on both sleeves, he bowed low, placing his forehead to the ground.

“I’ll give you the money after he is trained, but here is something upfront.” the Aisu clan member, Korone stated, handing his father a bag of coins, which he knew from the metallic clink of heavy coins.

“Come.” Korone said, and expected the boy to follow.

Yukimura’s father grabbed him by the collar, “If you bring dishonor on our house, boy, then I will kill you myself.” Then he tossed Yukimura toward Korone and gave him a boot to the ass for good measure.

Korone was taken in by the other servants of the house, and learned their way through trial and error. His first month there he was caught stealing food from the kitchen, a growing boy has to eat, and was cut from ear to chin by a knife that the cook flung at him. The cook said that he missed.

For his stealing of food, he was hung out in a cage for three days, only given water and food once daily and when he was released, he cursed the cook for a coward and a snitch.

It was only a year after he was conscripted to the family, at the age of 6, that the mother of Achiyo became pregnant, and in the latter part of his sixth year alive, she delivered a raven-haired, blue eyed beauty. Stricken by how beautiful she was, at only a couple of months, he decided that she would be his personal duty.

Soon enough, as he reached the age of 10, he was given over to the duty of watching her and being her playmate. Some of the other servants took offense to him looking after the sole heir to the branch and would beat him almost daily. This was how he learned to fight, that and sneaking in to watch lessons on his free time when Achiyo was at lessons, honing his skills to protect not only Achiyo, but himself.

It was a proud day not only for her father, but also for him when she managed to graduate from the 1st academy, and he had high hopes for her, but as she grew older, she became more and more complacent, and when she hit her teens she became downright lazy.

Concerned for her safety and well-being, Yukimura became stronger so that she didn’t have to, and doted on her, catering to her every whim.

What hurt the most, though, was that she would flirt with other boys, and not with him. Obviously he couldn’t taint the Aisu blood, but when she would bring a different man to her chambers, with his guidance sometimes, it was maddening to see her waste her talent, the talent he had seen in the academy, on being a shut-in.

As he got older, he was set up as a sparring partner for the younger siblings, his pining heart always caught up on Achiyo, his thoughts constantly turned toward her as he trained first her younger brother, and then her youngest sister.

The first death of her younger brother caused strife within the family, and Achiyo’s father reprimanded her so that even the servants could hear it in their quarters. He called her useless, and the next day she showed herself to everyone with dyed blue hair.

Outraged, Achiyo’s father disavowed her from all inheritance and forbade her from speaking to him. That was, until recently, a couple of years later, her sister died in battle with one of Fuhen’s commanders. He had slaughtered her like a lamb, and driven to desperation, the father turned to his eldest, disavowed, disinherited, and dishonored child.

Their shouting match roamed throughout the house for three days and finally came to a conclusion. She would rejoin the ranks of Shinobi, if, and only if, he would allow for her to keep her blue hair.

Vowing to keep her safe while she blossomed into the deadly ice flower that he knew she could be, Yukimura slept well that night.
