- Face/head: Niwa tries not to stick out but it’s hard when you have dark red hair, Niwa usually keeps it in a ponytail that reaches to the middle of her back. At times she will not wear it in a ponytail, when she doesn’t some of her hair goes across her right eye, covering her green eyes.
- Body: She is a bit short for her age of thirteen, only standing at 5'4 when her mother is around 6'0. She isn't skinny or fat, her body could be described as lean yet fit. That isn't surprising as she is a shinobi. She doesn't have any scars.
Clothing/Accessories: She wears a blue jacket, usually having it only zipped halfway up, she wears a black shirt under it most of the time. She wears a white scarf around her neck, having it tied so it doesn’t get in the way. She will usually wear black shorts for comfort and being able to move around easily, below that she wears a plain pair of ninja sandals. She wears her headband on her right arm. On her left arm she wears a black sleeve that goes from her wrist to her elbow. On her right hand and her left hand she wears gloves as she uses wires in her equipment and feels it will protect her hands.

Personality: She wants to be strong like her parents. Due to this she tries as hard as she can, but is laid back at times as she figures as long as she makes it her family will be proud of her. She is usually silent and stays back unless she has to step up or fight. She will try to talk the person down but usually isn’t that good since she doesn’t say much.- General:
- Hopes/Dreams:She want’s to become a high ranking ninja and try to breakout of her attitude of not saying much. This makes her try her hardest no matter what it is, she want's to be number one to make herself feel like she is getting closer to her dream of being a strong ninja.
- Fears:She is afraid of failing, breaking down, humiliating herself, cramped spaces, drowning. Her fear of drowning does make her hesitate a little when it comes to walking on water but will do it after a moment of hesitating, she practices to overcome this fear but has not had the best luck doing so.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat a weapon they are holding in Raiton electricity for 5 posts. This causes the shock effect to be produced on any contact with a target, while also granting blunt weapons the ability to cut through skin to produce shallow wounds. This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a two meter long rod of lightning in their hand. They are then able to launch it at 15 speed in a single direction. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

Niwa Hatsuyo was raised in a ninja family her mother stopped being a ninja after giving birth to her. Her mother was from the leaf village her father from the leaf as well. She learned how to do Raiton from her mother and Katon from her father.
It suprised them both when they noticed she was skilled at Ninjutsu and Genjutsu it showed at a young age and this caused her to gain a few friends but their many people that called her a showoff. This slowly caused her to become less social with each new remark they came up with. She still went to the ninja academy though. Her talent in ninjutsu should of allowed her to succeed in the ninja academy with flying colors but, She wasn't very good at Taijutsu. She wasn't good at being close to people, she would always just stand in the middle of a group listening to people converse but she wouldn't say anything. She was afraid of saying the wrong thing to the wrong person and making them angry.
This caused her to drift away from close contact which meant when she went to spar with someone she wasn't good at Taijutsu. This caused her grades to suffer in the ninja academy, she had always felt terrible about it and her parents tried to encourage her but she knew they were disappointed in her. She did pass though, her written test scores and her ninjutsu grades were fantastic and this allowed her to pass, but they did advise that she should practice her taijutsu. She had told her parents the news of this and they were very happy with her,, now she just had to learn how to be more social with people.
Some of her fears had come sooner than this, her fear of failing came when she showed her lack of Taijutsu skill, people made more fun of her than before, this caused her to want to succeed so they wouldn't. Her fear of drowning came when she fell asleep in her bath and woke up choking on water. Her fear of cramped spaces came when some bullies had locked in her a small closet and she was stuck there until a teacher had heard her cries for help and let her out, this also led to her fear of breaking down.
