Gender: Male
Hair: A natural born brunette, his chocolate brown locks lack shine yet are soft and fluffy. His hair is long but orderly as he takes care of his appearance to give others a better impression of both the village and the Senju clan.
Physical Features: Masaru’s skin is an average white color though come the summer months he can get fairly tan. His time training and working in the fields has led to a healthy musculature, nice lean muscles that aren't big and bulky but tight and flexible like a gymnast. His body smells of burning wood, of campfires and ash. Upon his chest is the seal in which Iburo has been sealed.

Eyes: His eyes once a beautiful hazel with flecks of green, have become an mercurial glowing orange like hot coals in a fire, giving a strong intensity to his gaze. The change in color is due to becoming the Jinchukiri.
Clothing/Accessories: Masaru's taste in attire have matured as he aged and spent time along side his friend, the prince of Fire Country. He now wears traditional clothing most of the time yet forgoes the common samurai garb most Senjus wear.
Personality: Masaru's behavior is rather reserved. It's not that he doesn't like people or feel shy, rather that his mind is very focused on training as he knows one day he'll be a protector of his clan and the village of Konohagakure. He appears confident in in his strength and knows his way around the streets. He has a bad boy charm that he uses to get dates. Sadly said charm doesn’t help him keep a steady relationship, as his focus on training usually makes it hard to maintain long term relationships.

He’s ruthless in a fight and usually beats his opponent so severely they don’t come back looking for more. His favorite season is summer because to him that’s when fishing is the most fun. His greatest fear and motivator is failure. Failing to protect the village. Failing to honor his family by not being good enough as a shinobi. The first to stand up and do what's right, he hates cowards and bullies. Though not normally the one to throw the first punch he's often the last one standing at the end when the teachers arrive giving him a not so good reputation.

Mokuton [Wood Release] is a unique elemental affinity exclusive to the Senju clan. By mixing their natural affinities for Doton [Earth Release] and Suiton [Water Release] the clan is able to create strong, durable, living wood. As Mokuton is living, it has a growth effect.

A truly unique element, Mokuton users create life in the form of trees. Even after their jutsu is done, these trees continue to live and grow aided by the high density of chakra in them. This gives Mokuton the growth effect, which uses the residual chakra in mokuton jutsu to rapidly speed up the natural growth process for a limited time after creation, causing the jutsu to gain +2 strength per post for an amount of posts after creation depending on the rank of the jutsu.

Jinchukiri Host:
In order to spare his life Fanho and a number of other senior shinobi of the hidden leaf village sealed Iburo the spirit that had been possessing him away with in him. This in turn has granted some unusual gifts to the young senju described on the spirit's sheet.

Doton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.
Passive (Enduring)Show
Doton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.
Mosuton • Blaze Release:
Through the fusion of the Senju's Mokuton and Iburo's Katon comes the destructive force of a forest fire. Mosuton creates burning cinders of wood. Mosuton utilizes the remnant chakra within after creation to grow stronger, burning it away as fuel while spreading smaller fires.
Passive (Immolation)Show
Mosuton has the passive of Immolation, to burn until even itself is destroyed. By using itself as fuel for its growth, the strength of the jutsu grows stronger by 1 per post over time
(dependent on rank) while gradually destroying itself. As such, Blaze release jutsu only last till it hits its peak strength, falling apart on the next post.

Due to the fiery nature of Mosuton it also inhereted Katon's ability to produce secondary fires, though due to how quickly it consumes resources the spread is slower at 1/5th the speed of the jutsu.

Additionally, the strength of burns on organic material from Mosuton jutsu is determined by the strength stat of the individual jutsu.

By closing their palm and performing the correct hand seals with the other, the user can create one small leaf, around a half-inch in diameter. Once this has been done, they will place the leaf on their desired target. The user can track the exact location of the leaf for up to 7 meters. For up to 20 meters out, the user can track a rough location. From then out to 100 meters, the user just gets a general idea of where their target is. The chakra in the leaf will dissipate at the end of 6 posts.

By closing their palm and performing the correct hand seals with the other, the user can create 1 seed closely resembling a walnut with a 2-inch diameter. These seed is filled with chakra and has enough energy to detonate with a force of a D-Rank Explosion. The user can detonate seed via kai, but if not detonated within 3 posts, it loses it's potency.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a 1 meter diameter ball of loose dirt in front of them, launching it off up to 10 meters away at [Control] strength and speed. Upon impact the ball of loose dirt breaks apart forming a vision-impairing cloud of dirt with a 5 meter radius.

The ball lights up the surrounding area in a 10 meter radius and requires Strength greater than [Control] to destroy. After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a cone that is up to five meters long and three meters wide at it's base. The cone travels at a speed equal to [Control] and impacts with a strength equal to [Control].

After performing the correct hand seals, the user runs their hands alongside a potential fuel, once they take their fingers off everything the ran their hand over will ignite, the flame burning at [Control] Strength. Potentially useful in avoiding wildfires, having fueles for a fire used against them.

By channeling katon chakra into a metal weapon or blade, the user will cause it to grow hotter and cover the blade in flames. The imbued weapon will be able to carve through defenses of [Control] or less strength with ease.

By channeling the spirits katon chakra into his hands, Masaru is able to temporarily convert his hands into flames similar to an katon e-body. The flaming hands burn with a strength equal to his control stat. The transformation leaves his hands vulnerable to suiton jutsu and any suiton damage dealt to them in this form damages his fleshly body like acid and any severance or destruction to the hand is carried over when the transformation ends. Damage can be recovered normally with his regeneration ability when unchanged or by gathering more katon element to repair the damage while transformed like an e-body.

Prerequisite: Rigid Structure Concentration
After focusing his mind and steadying his body Masaru enters a mental state represented by an immovable mountain. In this state Masaru's body remains rigid and planted, reducing his ability to move, but increasing his defense and reaction time. This jutsu is used as the foundation of his defensive techniques.

The butt of the staff is held high above the head by the rear hand and the tip hangs lower but does not rest on the ground. The forward hand supports the staff in such a manner that it can accept blows from a position of strength. This guard allows Masaru to forcibly withstand strikes without retreating and giving way to the enemy, allowing the enemy's strikes to crash down on him like a wave on an immovable rock.

Prerequisite: User must be in Immovable as a Mountain stance
Holding the lance in front of him horizontally, hands equal distance from the center approximately at shoulder width. By locking his arms at the moment of impact and pivoting his waist, Masaru can redirect blows and counter with the blades on the his lance.

Masaru jumps up and stabs down with his lance into the target, if it lands the target is locked in place unable to unpin them selves from the ground as Masaru stands on their arms. While Masaru isn't all that heavy the target is given the impression of him being as heavy as a mountain. This isn't genjutsu or illusion as the targets senses are not being tricked nor manipulated, rather it is a presence Masaru himself gives off. The target must have greater strength than Masaru to stand break his hold on them.

Wielding Something Light as Though it Were Heavy

Prerequisite: User must be in Immovable as a Mountain stance
Masaru exchanges speed for a heavier strikes. By controlling his strikes the strength of the impacts is boosted by 3 while the speed of the attacks drops by 3.


Wind Blows Yet the Mountain Does Not Bow

Prerequisite: User must be in Immovable as a Mountain stance
The user steadies their footing to resist an incoming force boosting endurance by 3. In exchange his speed drops by 3 to maintain his footing.

Violent as a Rockslide
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user performs a series of heavy strikes each building up the momentum of the next. The user cannot dodge or retreat while using this jutsu and can only advance and press towards the enemy. +3 strength to the user while utilizing this technique. If forced to block the boost in strength ends as the momentum is lost and the jutsu broken. Control drops by 3 for the duration of the technique.

Despite being a member of the prestigious Senju clan, Masaru's father was a farmer and not a shinobi, he used his basic level of skills with ninjutsu and such to grow crops for the village. He was unable to perform adequately in the academy and repeatedly failed the graduation exam. As such he gave up on his dream of being a ninja and moved to a occupation that made use of his clan's affinity with plants. When the man had a child he pushed his dream on to him.

Despite his son being his shame, Masaru's grandfather loved him dearly. When asked for help to raise Masaru to be a shinobi, he whole heartedly agreed and threw himself into the effort. Starting from the age of five Masaru began to work on his physical body. However, with his grandfather at an advanced age, his health was declining. As such when they began to train Masaru in genjutsu, his old body couldn't keep up with the demands giving Masaru an unbalanced foundation.

As a child Masaru loved the attention his father and grandfather gave him. He always worked his hardest to make them proud. Though it was originally his father's dream Masaru took up the "torch" and carried it proudly. He focused on his training giving it his everything. On his rest day his grandfather would often take him fishing and used the time to teach him valuable life lessons. The lesson with the most impact and influenced Masaru the most was his grandfathers teachings about the will of fire. Although it's still an abstract concept to him and he doesn't truly understand what it means, he does his best to up hold what it means in his mind.

With his grandfather’s health deteriorating and wanting to make him proud, Masaru joined the ninja academy, making a deal with his grandfather that his grandfather would stay around till he at least graduated. His family's preparation and training made him a little stronger than average and putting his nose to the grindstone, he worked hard and managed to get a firm grasp on chakra and jutsus. Try as he might he still was getting stumped by the genjutsu his grandfather was unable to help him with.

In the academy Masaru found he had a knack for pole weapons and found learning new techniques to be an enjoyable challenge. As he was so focused on learning, the other boys assumed he was timid and tried to bully him. When they discovered he wasn't the weakling they thought he was it left a bad impression on their minds and so as he grew older they continued to pester him. Eventually Masaru had enough of the bullying and crippled one of the other cadets, putting them in the hospital.

After that incident the other cadets were less likely to pick fights with him. As he grew older and hit puberty things started to change. The girls found him attractive and he had his bad boy reputation which made him more appealing to some. To the guys most had grown to respect his strength even if they didn’t like him or his methods.

At twelve years old he graduated from the academy and officially became a ninja of Konoha. His Grandfather was at his graduation as promised. Shortly after though his grandfather’s health declined. He had been holding out so he could keep his promise. and now he had no strength left. Upon his grandfather’s death Masaru moved out of his parent’s home living on pay from missions. He withdrew from the rest of the world a bit, he was less open and got into fights more often. After a sit down with his mentor who basically gave him a where the bear shits in the woods talk, he started to straighten out his act.

The first big mission and major turning point in his career was supposed to be a simple recon mission. He was investigating a series of forest fires with his superior Mitsuragi Gene. They discovered the fires were being caused by a rampant fire spirit. Unfortunately, the spirit overwhelmed and captured Masaru with Gene unable to protect him. While the village gathered a search party the spirit, named Iburo, tortured Masaru repeatedly. Driving him to the brink of death then healing his body to start all over again. Going to the extent of even burning off his limbs then growing them back. Despite the torture Masaru, refused to reveal the location of Konohagakure.

Some time later Masaru awakens to find the spirit has disappeared. He escapes the cave only to be cornered off by Gene once more. Upon encountering Gene, Masaru is over taken by the spirit Iburo who has been hiding inside him, possessing him. After a brief scuffle, Iburo escapes once more. Awai Fanho takes up the chase replacing the exhausted Gene and corners and catches Masaru. After a sealing ceremony Masaru is able to return to the village. He is now working towards coming to terms with being a jinchukiri and all that entails.

Iburu The Father of Rebirth
The Father of Rebirth is a woodland spirit that aides the growth of forest. It starts forest fires once a forest has reached it's maximum potential for growth allowing the raging inferno to burn the forest down. The cinders and ashes become nutrients for the seeds that were buried in the ground allowing the forest to regrow and continue to expand. Though not inherently evil after being trapped for so long it holds a grudge against humanity. It was released by Fuujin from the tower of spirits in the Land of Wind. It has the innate ability to create intense wild fire and regenerate. As a spirit of rebirth Iburu can also enhance the growth of plant life that has been infuenced by his chakra.
Influences: The host's eyes have turned orange and the fuuinjutsu sealing the spirit on his body appearing as a tattoo shines golden when using katon jutsu and extensions.
Longterm Drawbacks: The host will develope an explosive temper and begin to suffer severe mood swings. Often seeking compensation in the form of physical suffering, the host will be more likely to hit someone or something in a bout of anger.
Personality: Iburu is a very haughty creature. He views his position in the forest to be the highest, having a slight god complex deciding the life or death of the forest itself. Question his motives or prestige and he is quick to anger. He is well known to hold a grudge and will often remain angry at someone for quiet some time.

Despite it's prideful arrogance Iburu is also incredibly protective of wildlife and the forest deeming himself a protector of nature. He dislikes seeing trees being cut down for use by humans and can't stand to see woodland animals being hunted for sport. Hunting for food is one thing it's the cycle of life and the law of the wild, the strong prey on the weak. But unnecessary cruelty to animals is a good way to set him off.

As a spirit of life, death, and fire, Iburu has passed on a number of unique attributes and abilities to his host.
Body and Will of Fire:
Whether as a mockey of Masaru's so called Will of Fire or an unintentional side effect of Iburu's sealing, Masaru now has the ability to use the Katon affinity and related jutsu. In addition, Masaru can convert his physical body into flame. As the seal that keeps Iburu locked away in his body has actually merged with his chakra network and isnt simply a tattoo thats only skin deep, his transformation can be either a full body manifestation or individual parts of his body depending on his level of mastery.

While Masaru cannot be harmed by the burning of his transformed areas, he is still entirely capable of being burned by other sources of katon. While an area of his body is transformed into katon, it becomes extremely susceptible to suiton, suiton jutsu that hit the affected areas are treated as though they had 5 higher strength. The intensity and size of the transformations are dependent on the maximum level of katon jutsu unlocked. Once an area has been transformed, it doesnt cost extra chakra to maintained. Finally, when transformed the tattoo representation of his seal is still visible but instead of softly glowing golden like it does when katon or related extensions are used, they appear pitch black floating on the surface of the flames.

In the interest of preserving his host so as to keep his own life safe, Iburu has passed his life influencing powers to Masaru's body. This manifest in a rapid regenerative ability. When damaged, his body glows and gives off heat, the injury appearing much like a piece of heated metal, starting a dull cherry red and gradually brightening to a golden yellow depending on the severity of the injury. The deeper and more severe the injury the brighter the light his body gives off. Despite the ability originating from Iburu, the regeneration takes a toll on Masaru's body resulting in a permanent (-5) to his endurance. The rate and ability of healing adheres to the standard rules on regeneration.

During tines of extreme duress Masaru can enter what he calls Hyper Mode. By taping into his connection with Iburu sealed away within him he can access more of his power. The enhanced state last 5 post and allows him to display power past his normal limits. Using this connection weakens Iburo and thus the spirit must rest after this mode has been activated.

Is likely to start fights. While transformed the host is able to transform up to two limbs into fire at a time. Up to B rank Katon and extension jutsu may be used in or out of transformation. The host is able to enter the previous form with ease.
Hyper Mode: +3 Speed, +2 Strength
Form 3The host skin turns completely matte black like charcoal. All four limbs may transform into flames. While a chakra cloak forms the shape of a stag skull over his head his eyes glowing like flames from within the macabre helmet. Up to A rank Katon or extension jutsu maybe used in or out of transformation. The host is able to enter the previous forms with ease.
Hyper Mode: +4 Speed, +3 Strength, +1 Chakra Pool
Form 3 PerfectedThe host has obtained complete mastery over the spirit and is able to use up to S-rank Katon and extension jutsu in or out of transformation. The host is able to transform his body into flames at will. Form 3 Perfected is indistinguishable in appearance from form 3 but the host has full control of his actions. The host is able to enter this and any previous form at ease.
