Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Sandy coloured hair worn in an untidy fashion, over a head band that tied around the forehead of a rather well structured face. The eye brows are neat and match the color of the hair and below is a pair of dark grey colored eyes which seem to see through whatever they are looking at. To the side, the ears are symmetrical and unpierced. The smile of the the individual could be considered iconic and can be an attribute of the very well aligned cheekbones and jaw.
  • Body: Athletic is the word that best describes his body type. Thin but muscular; although he may not look it, this boy is able to generate more physical strength and speed than one would think at first glance. If seen in it's purest form, his body is usually covered in bruises and wounds that are a result of pushing himself in the field. However, he is yet to receive any real scars from near death battles.
    Clothing/Accessories: This outfit is a little different than one would expect. Starting at the bottom, a pair of knee high shinobi sandals, into which the trousers are tucked. The boy carries a katana and a scroll with a paint brush, that are attached to a belt and located at the rear. The torso is covered by a zipped vest and it is tucked into the trousers very neatly. The shoulders bear a rather unusual cloak, it reaches down to the knees and is separated into four sections to allow freedom of movement. The cloak features a neck shoot to protect the weather from the elements. The arms are covered in bicep high gloves, that do not cover the fingertips.

    Katana: This sword was a gift he received from his mother upon graduation from the ninja academy. It is made of high quality metal, infused with a purple dye to give it a unique look. The blade is engraved on both sides, one side reads 'ガーディアン,' which means 'guardian'. A poetic touch from his mother, she wanted to ensure the safety of his boy during his adventures. On the other side is the engraving of a phrase he keeps repeating '失敗は許されない,' this his his motto, his ninja way and was done by himself to remind him about what he stands for during tough times.
    Personality:
    • General: Over the years this boy has grown and developed a personality any individual would be proud of. From home to the battlefield, he remains calm while critical, kind while assertive. This is the result of years of nurture he imposed onto himself, by learning from individuals whom he saw as role-models. He believes that being kind to the people an individual considers friends and family is more important than being critical in battle, because returning from a battle to a home full of judgement and criticism is simply, not worth it.
    • Hopes/Dreams: The events which contributed so much to the development of this shinobi are also the inner fuel which drive him to achieve his dreams. He wants to grow into a warrior who is able to protect the people who find themselves in a situation he was once in. Those are the people who deserve protecting, as they're are the ones who will show any individual true kindness.
    • Fears: A fear deeply rooted in his psyche, is failure. Occasionally there are thoughts in his mind, that question his abilities, that question whether he will be able to fulfill his dreams. These thoughts create the feelings of anxiety, anxiety that can be crippling at times. Kindness and transmutation is how he deals with this feeling; returning home to the joy of his family is what drives him to push his limits.
    • Combat Mentality:Composure is the word that best summaries his combat mentality. His moves are very well thought out, as if he is playing a game of chess in his mind. Taking every single move, of the opponent into consideration and trying to use it to his benefit. This mentality was developed in order to conserve his energy stores while carefully planning a strategy. He would not shy away from using dirty battle tactics if there were lives at stake, restricting the victims eyesight by throwing sand in his eyes? If it means a victory and the preservation of life, by all means.

    Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

    After performing the required hand seals, the user expels a basket ball sized ball of wind from their mouth. This ball of wind travels up to 10m at [Control] speed, and explodes with [Control] Strength on contact with solid matter or at the end of its range.

    The user performs a string of hand seals after which he take a deep breath and exhales, but now the air is chakra infused and charged full of power, strong enough to blow back anyone in its way. The jutsu is effective up to 10m, after which it dissipates and it can be withstood by anyone whos strength is higher that half of the users con; the jutsu travels at [Control] and impacts on [Control] strength. Fuuton passive effect applies.

    This jutsu is derived from the users 'Fuuton: Chakra Flow' technique. The user gather chakra in his hands and then claps, sending the chakra out in the direction the user hands are pointing in a crescent. This crescent is paper thin but 3m wide and travels and impacts at [Control] speed and [Control] strength. Fuuton passive effect applies.

    This technique was developed to aid the user during battles with an opponent skilled in the fire element. This technique works on a basis of a 10m radius; the user is able to manipulate the air around them to decrease the levels of oxygen and weaken any fire-based technique which finds itself within the radius. The statistical reduction to the jutsu within the vicinity is 5 points and the technique remains active for a tenth (1/10) of the users control in terms of turns.

    This technique allows the user to shoot bullets of compressed air out of their mouth. The user mixes his chakra with the air in his lungs to create a pressurized bullet which is able to travel in a straight line. The technique speed and strength is equal to their [Control], this technique lasts for a maximum of ten posts and the user can shoot as many bullets as he wishes to. Once the jutsu is ready, the user can bring his hand to their mouth in formation of an open circle and breathes out all the air stored, although this is not required.

    This technique enables the user to transfer and coat an object like a sword, projectile or a part of their body with their fuuton chakra. Jutsu speed and strength is equal to the users [Control]. The user is able to keep the technique active for as long as the user is in touch with the object. However if the object is thrown, the chakra dissipates by the end of that turn.

    Using a paintbrush and a scroll, the user draw a swarm of insects of their choice. This swarm can then be used to disorientate the victim. Although this jutsu has no attacking potential, it is a very valuable asset as every individual insect moves at a speed equal to [Control]. Any contact on the creature will disperse it. The amount of insects which is possible to create is limitless, although more insects will place a higher chakra drain on the user. Jutsu remains active until all the insects are destroyed or the used deactivates the jutsu.

    This is the sister technique of the ‘Ink Release: Swarm’ and is used offensively. The user draws a flock of bird which are then use their wings to attack their target. The Flock flies at a speed and strength equal to [Control] and can only fly in a straight line. The jutsus flaw is that every bird dissipates once it connects with the victim, or if it misses. Every individual bird costs the user more chakra and is only able to draw a maximum of 3 per turn.
    Ink Release: Pretty Barrier

    The user draws a swarm of butterflies which upon activation fly out and form a barrier within a 5m radius of the user, around him in a dome. It is also possible for the dome to be imperfect for the purposes of allowing the user to see the opponent. The speed and strength of the jutsu is equal to [Control].

    The user draws an image of tiger which upon activation will dash towards the target in an attempt to maul them over. The speed and strength of the jutsu is equal to [Control] and the user is able to cast no more than three tigers per use. This jutsu has a homing effect, due to which he is not able to cast any jutsu while this is active, it will remain active for as long as the user chooses to, or it lands on the target.

    A great hawk which is more a supporting technique than one which is used for attacking or defending. Although it can be used for such measures but its efficiency drops greatly in such application. Takashi’s strength and speed is equal to ten if not in contact with the user, and it is also only able to move in a straight line. However if the user is in touch with Takashi, the bird moves at a speed and strength of the jutsu is equal to [Control]. The bird is able to carry up to two people on its back during flight and is fully controlled by the user. The jutsu remains active for as long as the user wishes to.

    After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

    D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    A technique that specializes in fighting Samurai and equalizing the battle field. The user will wait for their target to attack, and will quickly counter this by sliding the blade of their kunai onto the opponent's blade. The user will quickly move in towards their opponent while also sliding their kunai closer and closer to the opponent's hilt. This will force the angle of their blade to be raised and leaves the opponent wide open for attack.

    Having extensive experience with Deft Hands the user is able to manipulate a kunai within their hands and perform hand seals at full speed, without having to put down the kunai at any point.

    A simple technique, the user lowers themselves down and performs a sweeping kick attempting to knock their opponent to the floor, whilst bring their blade into the opponent’s chest all in one fluid motion.

    Prerequisite: 15 Speed
    A defensive technique, developed to fight Samurai, by throwing up their kunai into in incoming attack to dampen the physical strength and disrupting their opponents strikes. Even if the attack is powerful enough to break the users guard, it will dampen the strength of the opponents strike, just enough to give the user time to slide left, right or backwards whilst defending, meaning the user is usually out of the way before it hits its mark.

    Prerequisite: *Ochiba • Single Finger Draw
    Utilizing this manoeuvre, the user is able to quickly draw two kunai from its holster and have a kunai in either hand. This is done by placing their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, of two kunai, flicking it up and out quickly and tossing a second kunai to the alternate hand, dual wielding kunai in both hands, within an instant.

    *Ochiba • Spine of the Maple Tree
    C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    Often used as a counterattack, by stepping under an incoming strike and resting on their front leg, they will quickly pivot slashing behind them, upwards across their opponent’s spine. This will likely cut the nerves connected to the users legs, making it difficult for them to move, giving a reduction of -5 speed, they will need to seek medical attention.

    C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    A simple, yet effective strike. Often used in correlation with Ochiba • Oaken Defense, however not required. The user simply needs to be up close, they will swing their kunai in a horizontal motion towards their opponent's rib cage, aiming for the intercostal space between the ribs and damaging any organ behind it. The user will then turn the kunai, breaking their opponents ribs.

    C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
    The user will place their middle finger through the pommel of the kunai, gripping it so the blade hangs out of the side of the palm, using the weapon as a knuckleduster. This will give the user +6 in strength, but will receive – 6 Speed, due to having to move more carefully as to not cut themselves with the blade being in such an awkward position.

    B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    Prerequisite: 25 Speed & Ochiba • Single Finger Draw
    By drawing a kunai from its holster with the Single Finger Draw and will lunge forward, striking at their targets eyes attempting to blind them. This strike will at such a rapid speed it is almost invisible to the naked eye, slicing that very naked eye open.

    B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    As the Ochiba style favours an inverted stance the blade points towards the floor. If a strike misses, the user will perform a secondary strike either swinging back aiming for the temple or swing upwards with the pommel and shattering the opponents jaw. This will often catch an opponent off guard, if the opponent lacks a perception technique of an equal level, they often won’t see this second strike.

    B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    A technique used if the user is disarmed, though often used in conjunction with projectile techniques, such as the [Flawless Aim Style] when a kunai is deflected or airborne, the user will perform a ‘Webster Axe Kick’ essentially a forward flip, and they will kick the pommel of the kunai, projecting it in the direction of an opponent. Due to the momentum and the heightened trajectory this will move with +6 speed.

    B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
    Prerequisite: 25 Speed
    A technique developed by Shinobi to neutralize Samurai. Taking advantage of the exposable nature of a weapon such as a kunai, when an opponent strikes using a bladed weapon the user will move backwards and run their own blade along the length of their opponents blade, likely blunting both of their weapons. This is done at such at such high speed and in a fluid motion, the opponent will of often not realise it has happened.

    My story began in a four-wheeled horse cart in some forest, located in the Land of Fire. I was born to two vagabonds, travellers who had a rather different take on life. Their life motto was “never sleep in the same spot twice,” it’s not the family motto people expect; it doesn’t demand power or status like a motto usually does. But hey, it’s not the motto I have chosen for my life.
    My life will be different; I grew up hating not being able to know where I was going to be the following day, not being able to plan what I was to do the following day, it simply had no structure. That’s why, after a particular event I decided what I was going to do, how I was going to live my life. This event involves fighting, blood and a pool of tears, mostly mine.

    During our travels, we ventured into different countries, different land. We met all kinds of different people, so were good, some were borderline holy, but some were pure, pure evil. Evil in terms of how greedy they were, how they wanted more for themselves, even if it meant using force to take from people who hand nothing, nothing but a horse cart and some rags. This is the lead up to that very important event that inspired me to change my way of life and it happened somewhere in the Land of Water, in a forest.
    “Izaki! Izaki!” Yelled my mother, “fetch some fire wood will you!?”. At the sound of this I simply let out a sigh and started climbing down from the tree I was perching at. “Yes mother, I’m on it!” I yelled back at her. My dad was nowhere to be seen, hunting some animal probably. I wandered around, always making sure the camp was still in my eye sight, a rule my parents made to ensure my safety.
    A couple of minutes passed and I was walking back to the camp with an arm-full of crap, rotting wood. Beggars can’t be choosers, we have to work with what we can get. I picked up a little bit of hay and stacked it in the middle of the camp fire. Building the fire wood around it, in a pyramid formation and finally started hitting flint stones together, creating a spark, and soon a enough a flame appears in the centre of the hay stack; “Gotcha’!” I let out with a wide smile.
    I suddenly heard the rustling of leaves and stick being snapped behind me, I quickly turned around. “It’s only me lil’ fella, stand down.” My father spoke as he carried a big deer slung over his shoulders, it was easy to tell that he was proud of his hunting skills. I smiled and began running towards him, but suddenly he looked up and froze, at the same time. “Dad?” I said as I stood there staring at him confused.

    “Heheheheh, we’ll be taking this one!” A voice unknown to me spoke from behind my father as my father face planted the ground. Behind him stood a figure dressed in black, his face was bandaged. His hand was bearing a sword it was covered in blood. My heart stood still as I realised what just happened, if all felt like a bad dream, but the man was beginning to walk towards me, and out of the shadows behind him, more figures appeared. I didn’t know what to do, but my instincts took over. I bent down and grabbed a rock, hurling it at him I turned around and ran towards my mother. I could hear more laughter as I ran, “What is all this racket going on out ere’!?” my mother shouted as she came out of the cart. She froze upon seeing the situation, “Takae!?” she screamed upon laying eyes upon my fallen dad. I grab her hand and pull her away from the gang, crack, I’m sent flying back towards the camp fire and when I finally hit the ground, I realise that I’m struggling to breathe,”…my ribs…”.

    Suddenly a foot is placed on top of my head and pressed against the ground. “What shall I do with this one?” one of the men said, “Get r-...” The man was cut off by my mother who attacked him, or at least that’s what I think happened, he called her vile names and I heard a crash afterwards. “For that I’m going to make you watch.” The man said and suddenly I was lifted up by the remaining men, my arms outstretched and a sharp cold blade pressed against the side of my neck. Tears were pouring out of my eyes as I looked at my mother and I struggled to catch my breath. “Izaki!!” My mothers voice was full of sorrow and hatred, as she struggled to fight off the man holding her. “This is it…” I thought as the man moved his blade arm away, I knew what was coming. The blade was going to swoop sideways and take my head off, the same way my dad would cut the heads off the animals he hunted. I took a deep breath, but the blade never came. I head another body drop behind me, followed by the two stood on either side of me. I looked at them confused; bladed stars were sticking out of their foreheads.

    I looked at the man who was holding my mother as I stood up, he looked more confused than I was. Not for long, few moments later, two figures appeared on either side of the man, grabbed him and vanished once more. “I don’t understand…” I spoke as I struggled to understand what has happened.

    “Don’t worry kid, you and your mom are safe now.” A deep charismatic voice came from where my dad was, I turned around. It was a tall dark haired man with a flak jacket and a hand band tied around his forehead.. “I’m sorry, but I can’t help your dad.” He spoke and suddenly I arms were wrapped around me, “OW!” I screamed out at the top of my voice as my mother hugged me, still crying her eyes out. I turned around and hugged my mother, we both needed it, we both needed the comfort, I would melt into her arms to show how grateful I was to have her. Until the man spoke again “You sound hurt… Let me have a look at that.” I turned around and saw him walking towards us, his had was surrounded by a green light, I backed off, butting my arm between him and my mother. “Don’t come near!” I shouted, trying to resist the pain which came from my ribs and failing to do so. “Little fighter, aren’t you? Don’t worry, I’m a doctor and your ribs are fractured.” As the man approached, I kept cautious, although deep down I knew that I he wanted to off us, he would.

    Konohagakure, this is the village me and my mother relocated to after my father was killed by a gang of criminals. The shinobi who saved us? This is the village they were from, and they were returning from a friendly mission to the neighbouring country. I will never be able to show them how grateful I am. But I will do what I can, that’s why, I decided to become a shinobi, just like them. I have not decided what kind of shinobi I will be, but I know that I will make sure that if I am ever faced with a similar situation, I am able to help those who are in need.
