Ibakuro Clan

Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Family Size: Very small (1-5 Families)
Unique Traits One of the most notable traits of the Ibakuro clan is the way they age. Unlike normal humans, an Ibakuro age at an incredibly quick rate. In comparison to a human, a 1 month old Ibakuro is about the same in terms of development as a 1 year old regular human. If left unchecked, an Ibakuro would reach full maturity after a year and a half, middle age by 3 and a half years, and old age by 5 and a half years. Without drinking the Concoction of life, an Ibakuro would no doubt die of old age after only 7 or so years. On a fun note however, up until drinking the Concoction of life, the Ibakuro treats each new month as a "birthday".

As for physical traits, the Ibakuro clan is most easily recognizable by their eyes, which contain black irides and lime green sclerae. This makes them look very odd, as they almost appear to have giant pupils with no irides. In addition to this, the Ibakuro all have black hair, and they are known to have rather excessive body hair, though they are capable of shaving this hair. Lastly, the females are very very large, clocking in at an average of 6'6, while the males average in at 5'6, though of course there are exceptions. In the case of a non clan shinobi taking on the Kekkei Genkai through Organ Transplantation, The shinobi will remain their size and not grow the extra body hair, but their eyes will change color to match the clan.

Unique Traditions The Concoction of Life Since any Ibakuro who gained their abilities by birth advances in age at an incredibly quick rate, Yosuke needed to think of a way to prolong his children's lives. As such, he approached the infamous Takamori, Saigo, and asked him to help his family. The masterful medic thus took some of Yosuke's blood and used it to engineer a medical miracle known as the Concoction of life. This concoction essentially flips a switch in the Ibakuro's body, changing their aging process from that of a spider to that of a human once more. While they cannot drink it before the age of 4 months due to problems with growth, It is up to the Ibakuro when they decide to drink this potion. Most choose to drink it when they are 8 or 9 months old, around the time when their peers might join the academy.

After drinking this concoction, they identify their age as if they were a normal person, adopting their age in months as years instead. For example, an 8 month old Ibakuro who drank the concoction would thereafter be considered 8 years old, and would age normally from then on. However, if an Ibakuro does not drink the concoction by their "18th birthday", the potion will be forced on them for their own good.

Inbreeding Due to the young age of the clan, the Ibakuro are forbidden from breeding with each other to avoid genetic abnormalities. As such, each Ibakuro is encouraged to seek out a husband or wife outside of the clan, avoiding members of other clans like the plague to ensure the birth of another Ibakuro.

Naivety Since the Ibakuro clan ages at such an advanced rate, it's not uncommon to find a 9 or 10 year old Ibakuro who knows very little about the world at large. While their bodies may age incredibly fast, they can only learn so much in such a small amount of time. Their brains, however, are normal for their apparent age, and they are therefore capable of learning very fast when they put their minds to the task. This disconnect between age and education also leads to some odd quirks in Ibakuro who have only drank the Concoction of life within the past few years, resulting in 13 or 14 year old Ibakuro who have the overall maturity of a 6 year old. This passes with time however, and eventually the Ibakuro's mind and personality will even out as they grow accustomed to being with peers of their same age.

This advanced aging also leads to curiosity being a very common trait among the Ibakuro, as many Ibakuro end up feeling out of place given their lack of education for their apparent age. Once an Ibakuro reaches a maturity level close to that of their apparent age, many will seek to enhance their learning as quickly as possible to try and fit more into place with their peers.

Willing Gene Transferral Due to the incredibly recent nature of the Ibakuro clan, the Progenitor Ibakuro, Yosuke has made a deal with Takamori, Saigo to help spread the genes as quickly as possible. As such, Saigo contains samples of Yosuke's blood, and if any shinobi that is not already part of a clan or house volunteers and passes psychiatric evaluations, they can become one with Yosuke's blood and accept the genes of the Ibakuro. In doing so, they must shed their old surname and become an Ibakuro both in name and in body.

A shinobi can do this either at start up or in character. A character doing this in character must perform a thread of the procedure, either through a lonely or by doing a thread with Saigo ICly, and can thereafter perform a mod to add clan traits and the clan ability to their application.

Clan Bloodline
Spider Form:
The Kekkei Genkai of the Ibakuro Clan, all Ibakuro members are able to access their spider blood and assume their hybrid spider form. This manifests differently for each clan member, and clan members are encouraged to describe the appearance of their form, but there are a few things that each clan member has in common. First, when they transform, their skin and eyes turn black and their hair falls out. Then all along their skull, six new eyes will sprout on the tops and back of their head, granting them 360 degree vision and vision above them as well. Next, chitinous armor plating will spawn all around their bodies, granting them protection from enemy attacks. This armor has a resistance equal to the average of the Ibakuro's (strength+endurance)/2. They all also grow long fangs from their mouths capable of puncturing skin, though they are nonvenomous. Their body hair also grows longer and thicker, and can be shed from their body at will to create small clouds of itchy hairs that can irritate skin and eyes. Lastly but perhaps most notably, The member will grow four additional arms along the sides of their torso, granting them a total of six arms to use while in their form.

The Ibakuro member can enter their form at will, but can only maintain it for a number of posts equal to their Chakra Pool /5 rounded down. After this many posts have passed, the Ibakuro will be forced to leave their form, and will be unable to reenter the form until the same amount of posts have passed again. For example, an Ibakuro with 20 Chakra Pool would have 4 posts of active time in their form, but after 4 posts they would leave the form and be unable to enter it again for another 4 posts. Each Ibakuro's spider form is different, and can be based on any species of spider they wish aesthetically.

An additional benefit of being an Ibakuro, Webbing ninjutsu is a derivation of the Suiton affinity that enables the Ibakuro to create thick white webs with their chakra. Webbing has the [Sticky] passive and requires the Ibakuro to take the Suiton affinity before they can use Webbing.

The Ibakuro will channel chakra into their mouth before spitting out a small line of white web, about one inch thick, with a speed equal to their [control]. This web shoots up to a base range of 10 meters away from the Ibakuro, sticking to the first solid thing it comes into contact with with strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control]. The Ibakuro can then swing the target around by the webbing provided they are strong enough to lift it. After 3 posts the web will decay and fall apart.

The Ibakuro member channels chakra into a part of their body before excreting a small circular web on the ground beneath them with a speed equal to their [control]. The web has a base diameter of three meters, and anyone walking across will be stuck to it for three posts before the sticky property of the web fades. Anyone trapped by the web would require a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control] or higher to break free of the web.

The Ibakuro will funnel chakra through their body into their hands, creating a small layer of webbing along their palms and fingers. This allows the Ibakuro member to climb surfaces, even if they can't use the act of tree walking to do so. It also enables them to get a firm grip on enemies or weapons, holding them with a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control], though the Ibakuro can willingly release anything from their grasp by temporarily weakening the webbing with a small burst of chakra. These gloves last for 3 posts.

~Springboard Web
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into a part of their body the Ibakuro will extrete sticky webbing from their pores, which will be fired off, expand and connect to make a 15 foot diameter web. The web must connect to at least two different areas to work correctly, as the Ibakuro can use this web as a springboard. It can not only make the Ibakuro jump as though they had +3 strength to gain more height, but it's also great for absorbing the shock of a fall for up to 40 meters due to it's elasticity. Jumping off of the springboard also reduces the Ibakuro's accuracy temporarily, reducing their taijutsu by 3 during it's use. This webbing does not carry the passive effect of webbing ninjutsu. The web lasts for a total of 3 posts before becoming frail and useless.

~Web Trap
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro channels chakra into their hands to create a very thin string of web and attaches it between two objects like a tripwire. then at the end of each object, the Ibakuro will create small circular webs with a base diameter of three meters and connect them to the tripwire. The thread is hardly noticeable and upon being tripped it springs the two webs from both ends, moving with a speed of equal to the Ibakuro's [control] to wrap themselves around the person who activated the trap. The string can stretch up to a base of 5 meters. A strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control] or higher is needed to break free from the trap. After catching an opponent, the web will keep them held down for 3 posts before the web starts to decay.

The Ibakuro member will channel chakra into a part of their body before excreting a large web from their sweat glands and shooting it towards an opponent. This web is 5 meters in diameter at it's base, and can be fired with a speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control] towards any enemy within a base range of 20 meters. If the web ensnares a target a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control] or higher is required to break free. The web itself will last for 4 posts before losing it's adhesive nature

C-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro member begins by channeling chakra into their mouths, building up a small bit of webbing to be used for this technique. Then the Ibakuro will spit the glob of web out at a target within a base range of 25 meters at a speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control], which will take the form of a white spider made entirely of sticky webbing. The spider itself can also move with a speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control], but it cannot do anything except stick to a target with a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control], requiring that much strength or higher to remove it with physical force. The spider is infused with the Ibakuro's chakra, letting the clan member track the spider for up to 3 miles as long as they focus on it. It is normally used to attach to opponents to keep track of them, but can be used for just about any form of tracking. The spider stays on for 10 posts unless destroyed.

The Ibakuro member will start by channeling chakra into their hands and firing a large number of single web strands off in multiple directions, then connect them all together and make a center to stand on, essentially creating a giant web over the course of a full post. They can fire a maximum of 25 different strands with speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control], each of which can extend a base maximum range of 30 meters. This is one of the few sticky web techniques not meant exclusively for binding, as it is instead meant to track movement within the area of the webs. If anything should happen to come in contact with a strand of web, the vibrations will carry all the way to the center of the web, allowing the Ibakuro member to pinpoint which strand was affected and follow it to the source of the disturbance. The strands of webbing still hold opponents with strength based on the webbing passive. These webs will last for a total of 5 posts before losing their strength and falling apart. The Ibakuro member must remain in the center of the web to feel the vibrations of each strand.

~Web Sling
C-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro member will channel chakra into their hands, allowing them to fire strands of web to sling from place to place in areas where handholds might not exist. For the next 4 posts, The Ibakuro member can shoot a number of web strands equal to their chakra pool from their hands with a speed equal to their [control] and to a maximum base range of 20 meters. This allows them to pull all sorts of acrobatic stunts and fling from place to place without ever touching the ground. Should anyone else touch the webs or should the Ibakuro member shoot the web at an enemy, a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control] or higher is required to break free of their sticky hold. The strands themselves will become frail and unusable after 4 posts have passed.

~Spider's Flowers
B-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro member will channel chakra into their mouth before spitting a giant circular web at any target within a base range of 30 meters. The web has a base radius of 10 meters, and fly with a speed equal to their [control] in a straight line until they come into contact with something. They impact with a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control and are capable of knocking a target with 5 or less strength than the web prone, simultaneously trapping them within the web. Even if they aren't knocked prone, a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control] or higher is required to break free from the web. If used correctly, this web can actually push people into obstacles such as trees and wrap around them, trapping the target to the obstacle in question. The webs will become weak and breakable after 5 posts.

~Spider's Blanket
B-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro channels into their hands for a moment, forming a basketball sized ball of webbing. The Ibakuro member can then throw the ball as a ranged weapon, then perform a single hand seal to make it unravel into a base 10 meter diameter web. This can wrap around someone or pin them to a surface with ease, Constricting them with a strength equal to the Ibakuro's [control], requiring strength equal to or greater to break free. The web will fall apart after five posts.

~Webbing Spider
B-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro member will channel chakra into their mouth, building up a large amount of webbing for the technique. After doing so, the Ibakuro will spit the glob of webbing out at a speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control] towards an area within a base range of 10 meters of the Ibakuro. Shortly after the webbing will expand and morph, taking the shape of a 10 meter tall spider. The spider is capable of using any web techniques that the Ibakuro member knows, and enemies that make physical contact with it are ensnared as per the Webbing Passive. The spider's stats are equal to the Ibakuro's.

~Web of the Widow
A-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro channels chakra through their hands before excreting a 3 foot diameter sphere of condensed webbing. The Ibakuro member can then fire the sphere at any target within a base range of 30 meters with a speed equal to their [control]. Upon making contact with a physical barrier or on the Ibakuro's command with a hand seal, the ball will unravel into a base 25 meter diameter web. In either ball or web form, it will impact with a strength equal to their [control], knocking down anyone weaker than it and knocking back anyone with equal strength before wrapping around the area and trapping all nearby targets within it. Anyone caught within the web will require a strength stat equal or greater than the Ibakuro's [control] to break free from it. The web will fall apart after 6 posts.

~Trap the Prey
A-Rank Ninjutsu
The Ibakuro clan member will channel a large amount of chakra into their mouths, releasing a long, thin strand of webbing from their mouth that they can control with unerring accuracy within a base range of 65 meters. The strand's intended purpose is to capture a single target within it's grasp, moving with and holding with a strength and speed equal to the Ibakuro's [control]. If captured, the target will be swiftly wrapped within an airtight cocoon of webbing, binding them tightly within and constricting them with it's strength in an attempt to suffocate the victim within. A target can survive for one post per 5 endurance they have, and the jutsu can be maintained as long as the Ibakuro focuses chakra into the technique.

Below is a technique that, while available to the Ibakuro, would be considered an act of treason against the clan. Ibakuro, Yosuke was told of the technique by the spider queen itself, and therefore he believes that the jutsu cannot be trusted. However, he also knows that a curious Ibakuro could figure out the jutsu with or without him cataloging it, so he decided to write the jutsu in a scroll and keep it protected, while also cautioning all Ibakuro against learning or worse, using the jutsu. The Kinjutsu is as follows:

[Embrace of the Spider Queen]
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 35 Chakra Pool
Considered a Kinjutsu among the Ibakuro clan, the clan member will perform a long and intricate ritual that floods their body with chakra. During this ritual, they will assume their Spider Form, and channel this chakra into their form. In doing so, they will permanently retain this form, and all of the benefits that come with it. However, this comes at a price, subtracting -3 from their Chakra Pool permanently.

The Ibakuro clan is a very recent addition to Konoha, being born within the last five years as a result of a pact that the progenitor, Ibakuro Yosuke, entered into with a malific spirit. As the man has explained to many in Konoha, Yosuke once pursued his traitor of a teammate, a Hyuuga by the name of Homura, in an attempt to kill him. However he failed, and while on death's door, he was retrieved by a spirit known only as the Spider Queen. This spirit offered Yosuke a choice; Die and fail his mission, letting his criminal teammate roam free to cause more strife, or accept a deal put forth by her. She would heal him and grant him her boon, and in return she would claim his soul. In life and in death, he would be bound to protect her from harm if ever she needed it. Yosuke agreed, and after healing he was made to drink a concoction made by the queen. This concoction, known as the Queen's Brew, altered his DNA, turning him into a spider-human Hybrid.

Using his newfound powers, he found and hunted down his teammate, then returned to Konoha. However, as time passed, he realized there were unspoken agreements in this contract. First, he began to lose his mind, the transformation taking on a personality of it's own known as 'The Broodfather'. This alternate personality wanted only to rend and destroy anything that wasn't a spider. Second, the queen's influence on him grew day by day, until he was literally seeing her ghostly apparition as she spoke to him. And worst of all, the curse of the Queen's Brew would be passed down through his lineage, cursing his children for all time. Another shinobi, the infamous bannin Hyuuga, Aina, organized an attack against the queen with the Hokage Natsuki, Takeo. Together, they defeated the queen, and just like that, the curse was lifted. Yosuke could live a normal life.

However, his genes were still altered by the Queen's Brew, and thus his children were still born as spider-human hybrids. But with no queen to influence their minds, they were free to develop as normal citizens, and thus the Ibakuro clan was born.
