Companions: (2/4) Rei, Ryu
General Information Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5' 7''
Weight: 130 lbs
Physical Features:
- Face/head: Minako is wild in her features. Her dark red, almost brown, hair is thick to the point of being difficult to even get a brush through. She often keeps it in braids or thick cornrows. She often weaves pieces of the wilds into it, flowers or even leaves, bits of bone that she finds or gets from her hunts. Her eyes are typical of her clan and naturally she keeps the standard markings on her face, but they are not tattoos.
- Body: Minako is of a lean and fairly well muscled build. Her time in the trees of her village have kept her well built. She is not without her own scars, but many are minuscule. Minako does often paint herself with other flowers or leaves on her shoulders, though so far has yet to get any actual tattoos.
- Notable Features: Minako does have a single large scar running from just beside her belly button to her right side. The scar is fairly thick and still relatively new, less than a year old.
Personality:
- General: Minako is definitely someone that prefers the company of animals over people, though ironically is also a hunter who prefers being out in the wilds over being within the village most days. As such she tends to be a bit more of an introvert. She's often a woman of few words, only really opening up and speaking with those she's become truly comfortable with, or at least with those in her own clan who she feels she has more naturally in common with.
- Hopes/Dreams: Minako already lives her dream, to hunt in the day, and prowl the forests of Konoha in the evening.
- Fears: Minako absolutely detests the mantis, to the point that her companion dog usually tries to eat them before she can see them.
- Combat Mentality: Though not completely incapable when meeting her opponent head on, Minako prefers to keep distance between herself and her target or at least to catch them by surprise to keep some kind of advantage.

Historical Accounts:Inuzuka Minako was born as the other half of a pair of twins. She and her brother Minaru came up together and were inseparable. The two constantly played together and had always wanted to live their lives as shinobi together as well. They had never thought of their lives as being anything else. They came of age together, choosing their pups together. Both dogs were from the same litter, the father being a ninja dog as well that had been half wolf and well known in the village already. While Minako's dog had a rich dark coat, Minaru's had a right cream coat.
The twins went to the academy together, always sparring together and doing assignments together, only splitting up when forced to by instructors and sensei. They were naturally split up onto separate teams when the time came, but they still trained together as often as possible. Their genin years were the only time they were constantly split up however. The moment they graduated beyond their Genin teams, they once more took missions together as often as possible. Though many were concerned the closeness of the twins would be a burden on their careers and cause them problems in the field, it only seemed to serve them as a boon. The pair always worked well together and seemed to consistently put the mission first.
Yet the mission that earned Minako Jounin status also earned her her greatest heartbreak. During the recent wars between the great nations, she and her brother were tasked with protecting a village and both were forced to make hard choices. They had to choose between protecting their charges or helping one another, and as always both chose the mission first. Both were injured horribly, and yet managed to make it home. Yet only Minako survived her injuries. Both were promoted, but Minaru's promotion was posthumous and Minako had to miss her twin brother's funeral as she was still in the hospital barely clinging onto life herself.
She survived to claim her promotion, but now moves forward as a shinobi without her twin brother at her side.

Inuzuka House NinjutsuShow
D Rank:~The Sleuth
D Rank Ninjutsu
Dogs are known to be excellent trackers, and the Inuzuka do everything they can to compete with their familiars. In an attempt to mimic their ninken, the Inuzuka member will perform a series of hand seals before channeling chakra to their nose, enhancing their sense of smell. While this isn’t very effective at picking out certain smells, if the user has been in close contact with someone, or has one of their possessions on hand, they will be able to more accurately pinpoint the source of scents that are less than eight posts old as long as aforementioned source is still within one mile of where the scent was originally picked up.
~Growl
D Rank Ninjutsu
After completing the required handseals, the user of this technique will begin to focus chakra into his/her lungs. After the chakra has built up, the user will begin to growl lowly, subsequently releasing the chakra out of his/her lungs. The chakra will spread throughout the user's body and increase his/her strength by 3 at the cost of -3 control. This technique lasts for three posts.
~Man-Beast Form
D Rank Ninjutsu
A technique similar in concept to the ~Beast-Man Form, ~Man-Beast Form grants the opposite effects. After completing the proper handseals, the user of this jutsu will take the form of his/her canine familiar. While allowing for unique combination assaults, the user is unable to perform handseals, and as such, only taijutsu can be utilized by the user and his/her familiar. This technique lasts for three posts.
~Whistle
D Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the needed handseals, the user will begin to focus chakra into his/her lungs to prepare a high-pitched whistle. The user will then place a hand to his/her mouth and begin to release the chakra. Although no sound will be heard to other humans in the area, the whistle emits a higher pitched frequency that can be heard by the canine familiars, much like a dog whistle. This technique works as long as the familiar is in a 30 meter radius of the user. It is mainly used to call familiars to the user's location or to direct strategies.
C Rank:~Howl
C Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: ~Growl
After completing the required handseals, the user of this technique will begin to focus chakra into his/her lungs. After the chakra has built up for one post, the user will expel a loud howl, subsequently releasing the chakra out of his/her lungs. The chakra will spread throughout the user's body and increase his/her strength by 3 while lowering their control by 3. This technique lasts for five posts.
~ Four-Legged Technique
C Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary handseals, the user of this jutsu will take on a more canine-like appearance. When activated, the user's pupils will become nothing more than slivers, nails will become more claw-like, and s/he will travel on all fours. This partial transformation grants the user +6 speed and increased maneuverability, but lowers his/her control (-6) for five (5) posts.
~Beast Change of Body Stance Technique
C Rank Ninjutsu
A variation of the Kawarimi no Jutsu, this technique allows the user to switch positions with his/her clan familiar. This can be done as long as the familiar is within 20 meters of the user and not caught in a genjutsu. This jutsu counts as one of the two teleports a character is allowed per thread.
B Rank:~Double-Headed Wolf
B Rank Ninjutsu
This combination technique fuses the clan member and familiar together to create a large, double-headed wolf being (5 meters tall, 8 meters long). On top of granting the Inuzuka +5 speed and +4 Strength at the cost of -5 control and -4 ninjutsu, it also allows the Inuzuka member to make use of the Dual Wolf Fang. Lasts for 5 posts.
Inuzuka House Taijutsu (Jūjin Taijutsu Style)Show
Style Information:Jūjin Style
The taijutsu style most commonly used by the Inuzuka house, the high speed taijutsu style is designed to quickly assault and overwhelm the opponent with heavy handed and sharp attacks, including scratching, biting, tearing off flesh, and grabbing. While some view it as a weakness, taijutsu specialists admire the style for it’s ability to do damage without the use of a weapon.
These techniques may be used by either the Clan Member or Ninken.
Requires [Upper Body] and [Acrobatics] Concentrations for Clan Member, [Ninken] and [Acrobatics] Concentrations for Ninken companions
D Rank:~Double Tackle
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Both the clan member and the companion must have this technique
A combination technique utilized by members of the Inuzuka clan, the user will attempt to get on one side of the opponent as his/her familiar positions itself on the other side. Once in position, the user will charge and do a flying tackle at the opponent, aiming for the torso and head region. While this is going on, the Ninken will attempt to take out the target's legs by charging into them. If both the clan member and his/her familiar are successful, the opponent could be knocked over and possibly made vulnerable. This technique can be done on its own by either the ninken or the clan member, but isn't nearly as effective.
~Catch
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Another instance of learning from their canine companions, the Inuzuka have adopted this method of catching and holding objects thrown at them. Taking advantage of his/her speed and strong teeth, the user is able to catch projectiles like kunai and other miscellanea in his/her mouth. The user's speed must be at least equal to the strength of the opponent in order to catch the thrown object, otherwise it will be thrown faster than the clan member can intercept it. This technique must still be used with caution, as catching dangerous items with one's mouth can prove to be disastrous if done incorrectly.
~Latch Onto
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Utilizing its teeth and strength, the clan member or familiar will attempt to latch onto the opponent's body with their mouth. From this position, the canine or Inuzuka will do whatever possible to resist being removed. In order to throw off the ninken or clan member, the target must have a strength higher than their strength.
~Splash of Mud
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
While simple, this technique can be insanely frustrating for an opponent on open ground with no cover. When attacked from behind, the clan member or ninken will bend over and begin scooping chunks of earth to literally barrage their opponent with mud and dirt. Depending on the strength of the user, these clods can cause serious damage, especially in rocky terrain. This technique’s range depends on the strength of the user as these rocks are considered throwing weapons for the purposes of distance.
~Mount
D Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Modeled after a staple dog fighting technique, the user will jump on the target from behind, digging their teeth into their target's neck in the process. The combined weight of the user, and the pain from the bite of the neck is usually enough to knock the target down to the ground.
~Arm Distance
D Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A passive technique, whenever the user is rebounding from an attack, they'll always jump away with enough distance that their opponent has to either follow them or attack preemptively if they wish to attack them. This allows the clan member or familiar to jump out of harm’s way and then jump right back in without much hesitation.
C Rank:~Piercing Fang
C Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~ Four-Legged Technique must be active.
The basis for the Beast-Man form style of combat, this attack is performed by an individual clan member. By spinning rapidly, the user turns into a whirling mass before launching themselves at his/her target. By putting their full body into the attack, the clan member will hit an opponent or nearby object at full strength with their claws, easily rending flesh from bone.
~Biting Defense Technique
C Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The way of the ninja is deception, but many shinobi take it for granted that in a taijutsu battle, their opponent will just be fighting with his arms and legs. That’s why many opponents may be caught off guard when Inuzuka clan members readily put their abnormally strong teeth to work, biting down on exposed areas of their opponent during combat, especially the jugular. Users with high enough strength and taijutsu are even able to stop blows by biting down on the opponent's arm or leg before counterattacking with their unoccupied hands and feet.
~Clinch
C Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Close up to their target, the clan member/familiar will wrap their arms around the targets neck, and attempt to bite the targets face (typically their nose), this can be very traumatic to their target and can be used to stop them from getting away.
B Rank:~Dual Piercing Fang
B Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Both the clan member and the companion must have this technique and the ~Piercing Fang technique in order to use it.
A combination technique utilized by the Inuzuka clan members and familiars, this portion is performed by the clan member and their ninken simultaneously. By spinning rapidly, clan members turn into a whirling mass before launching themselves at their target. Using a full body attack allows them to hit an opponent or nearby object at full strength when they connect with their claws. In conjunction with the familiar's portion of this technique, it becomes extremely dangerous and can cover large areas with continuous assaults.
~Dual Wolf Fang
B Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: ~Double-Headed Wolf must be active.
This technique requires the clan member and clan familiar to be combined in the Double-Headed Wolf technique. Not unlike the Piercing Fang technique, the large creature will begin to spin rapidly, turning itself into a whirling mass. Given the size of the Double-Headed wolf, the size of the technique is much larger, and the impact is much more destructive when it barrels into its surroundings.
Silat Taijutsu StyleShow
Taijutsu Style Information:Silat is a style founded upon the basis of quick, effective movements of the body aimed for weak areas of the opponent's body. By using acrobatics to avoid and befuddle opponents and fast, decisive strikes delivered by her hands, feet, and Kerambit daggers, this style is Minako's most efficient method of quickly dispatching enemies with as little energy wasted as possible. The styles movement is full of slides, dodges, tumbles and flips, while the strikes themselves are aimed to cause as much debillitation as possible, opening the way for fatal or incapacitating strikes as needed.
Prerequisites: Close Quarters Combat, Sword Weapons, Acrobatics, Perception, Medicine
D Rank:Silat • Execute
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Simple but lethal, Minako will lash out with her Kerambit in an attempt to swipe at a major artery, such as the Femoral Artery or the Carotid Artery. Should the strike land successfully and medical attention is not received soon after, exsanguination is almost a certainty.
Silat • Ambidexterity
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.
Silat • Knuckleduster
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The rings that encircle Minako's index fingers while she grips her Kerambits make for effective reinforcements to her combat prowess. This discipline simply represents her ability to effectively utilize the Kerambit not only as a slashing weapon, but as a blunt enhancement to her close quarters melee strikes by using the Kerambit's grip as a knuckleduster.
Silat • Blinding Slash
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Minako will lunge forward with her Kerambits, aiming to drag the blade across a target's eyes. Due to the shape and design of the Kerambit, this manner of strike is very effective at puncturing a target's eyeball, effectively blinding them.
Silat • Concussive Strike
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Using the grips of her Kerambits, Minako will aim a well placed strike for the target's temple in an attempt to concuss and disorient the target. This strike is effective on it's own, but the true value lies in it's ability to combo with other techniques, making any form of active defense much more difficult and inaccurate.
C Rank:Silat • Achilles Bane
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Minako will dash forward with a feinting strike before quickly dropping low into a slide, with the intent of slipping right between a target's legs. In the midst of this slide, both of her blades will lash out at a target's ankles, specifically aiming to sever the Achilles Tendon running along the back of the leg. If successful, the target's legs will be rendered useless until medical attention is received.
Silat • Rough and Tumble
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Utilizing such an acrobatic and agile style does not come without mistakes. Luckily for Minako, she has already made and learned from those mistakes, and thus her ability to properly tuck, roll, dive, slide and flip are all more than adequate for her to utilize the acrobatic strikes and movements of the Silat Style.
Silat • Jaw Shatter
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Minako will use the grip of her Kerambit to drive home a powerful punch aimed for the target's jaw, specifically the Temporomandibular Joint. An effective strike against this joint can shatter the bone, making effective verbal communication difficult and causing severe pain.
Silat • Manipulation Trip
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Minako will aim to redirect or catch an opponent's strike within her arms before pulling the target forward, while simultaneously thrusting herself forward as well. The aim is to position her legs behind her target as she slides past them, before quickly whipping one leg behind the target's legs and her other leg in front of them. Then, a swift wrench of her hips and legs will force her opponent forward or backward as she desires, allowing her to quickly mount the target for further combat.
Silat • Kneecap
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Minako will lunge suddenly towards a target with a feint, before quickly dropping down low with her Kerambits in stabbing strikes aimed for the target's kneecaps. The goal is to slide the blade between the target's kneecap, severing bone sinew and tendon in an attempt to render the knee joint useless.
Flawless Aim Taijutsu StyleShow
Flawless Aim Style Information:This style of combat is favored by shinobi preferring to use projectiles, often serving as a staple for ranged taijutsu users. Focusing on the synergy between their hands and senses, they strive to make their lethal skills reach as far as possible with absolute precision.
Requires: [Projectile Weapons] Concentration.
D Rank:*[Flawless Aim Style • Sentinel Shot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Taking multiple projectiles into hand and priming the muscle groups required for launching projectile weapons, the practitioner can quickly shoot projectiles in rapid succession and just as quickly reload. While in this Stance, the practitioner can maintain a near-constant stream of projectile attacks. However, due to the amount of coordination required for this Stance, their movement is limited, suffering a -3 Speed penalty while in this Stance.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Rapid Reload]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After years of training, the practitioner has learned how to quickly and accurately access their ranged weapon stores at all times in combat. This cuts the effective "reload" time by half, up to a maximum speed equal to the practitioner's Speed score. This also applies to returning unused projectiles to their storage containers or switching between types of projectile weaponry.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Tracking]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to read an opponent's movements and adjust their aim accordingly to compensate without penalty. This Discipline allows the practitioner to accurately hit moving targets, though sudden changes in the opponent's movements will still affect accuracy.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Dead Angle Targeting]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to use projectiles at close range, even point-blank range, with the same Strength as attacks against more distant targets. This Discipline allows the practitioner to use Flawless Aim techniques against melee-range targets without excessive exposure to counterattack and without losing Speed, Strength, or accuracy.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Repeater Shot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Preparing multiple projectiles, the practitioner launches each of the projectiles at one or more targets. For each target beyond the first, the accuracy of each of the attacks is decreased, suffering a -1 Strength penalty for each additional target.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Arcing Shot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Bouncing Shot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner launches a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or a hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.
C Rank:*[Flawless Aim Style • Evasive Maneuvers]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The practitioner has learned how to accurately launch projectiles while moving through the flow of combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to accurately launch projectiles while moving at full Speed, while jumping, rolling, sliding off the ground, or while performing other basic combat movements.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Improvised Ammo]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The practitioner knows their own reliance on ammunition can be exploited by the enemy and prepare themselves to acclimate to less than favorable circumstances. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to effectively launch any item, so long as it possesses at least the mass of a standard kunai, as if it were meant to be a projectile weapon without sacrificing accuracy. Attacks using improvised weaponry suffer a decrease in Strength, all such attacks being treated as having -3 Strength.
*[Flawless Aim Style • Forcible Redirection]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner first launches a projectile at -1 Strength. Then, they launch a second projectile at full Strength, targeting the first projectile. The second projectile ricochets off of the first projectile, capable of changing direction within 360 degrees of the location of the first projectile upon impact. The practitioner first launches a projectile at -1 Strength. Then, they launch a second projectile at full Strength, targeting the first projectile. The second projectile ricochets off of the first projectile, capable of changing direction within 360 degrees of the location of the first projectile upon impact. The second projectile is treated as an attack with a -5 Strength penalty.
