Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Inokara's facial features are largely soft and feminine with blue eyes and long silver hair that has a long tri-part fringe and a single tuft sticking up in the front while falling down to around the middle of her back when left loose, though portions are often kept worn up, of particular note being a braided bun accompanied by braided twintails tossed over her shoulders.
  • Body: Inokara is thin and lithe, her body being decorated by a number of scars and having a nice amount of well toned muscle. She has soft though pale skin and fairly long legs, though to her disappointment isn't very well endowed, both breasts and butt being fairly small and her hips not seeming to have widened all too much.
  • Notable Features:----
Clothing/Accessories: Inokara these days typically wears an outfit comprising of a sleeveless shirt and high-waist skirt that falls down to just below her knees with a slit in one side up to her thigh for ease of movement, dark stockings and a pair of knee high boots worn underneath. Oftentimes accompanying this outfit is a long sleeved jacket, the ends of the sleeves a bit too big for her liking.
Personality:
  • General: Inokara at most times is cheerful, optimistic, bubbly, playful, and honest to a fault, blunt and truthful as can be without hurting her friends. That said.. she does have a temper, becoming fairly angry and when slighted one too many times even explosively violent, though she has learned to reign it in over the years, bottling it up in public and letting loose in private, or even during combat should the opportunity present itself. Despite her temperament and cheerful, excitable nature she can be surprisingly thoughtful and even motherly at times. She loves to cook as a general hobby and finds great joy in taking care of those around her, particularly those younger than herself.

Conscious Control:
The Yamanaka have created a secret series of ninjutsu techniques that allows the user to seize control, manipulate, and erase information from a target’s conscious mind by overwhelming it with their own. This is most commonly used to take control of the target, allowing the Yamanaka to gain a situational advantage in battle. It can also be used to read the mind of a target, and create mental blocks in their thinking process.
Requires: Above average Control. While supplemental techniques can be of any rank, techniques that involve the manipulation of consciousness must be at least D-rank.
Additional GuidelinesShow
  • A Yamanaka cannot perform any jutsu their opponent knows, even while in possession of their body.
  • A Yamanaka can perform their own jutsu while in possession of an opponent, provided the opponent's body is compatible with the technique. (Example: A Yamanaka with Katon ninjutsu can perform said jutsu through their opponent if the opponent has the Katon concentration). The only exception to this is Yamanaka Clan techniques, which can be performed regardless of the opponent they are possessing. This drains from the Yamanaka's chakra pool, not the opponents.
  • A Yamanaka cannot do anything that would explicitly damage an opponent under their control, such as stabbing themselves with a Kunai, without damaging their real bodies as well.
  • A Yamanaka does not have inherent access to a possessed target's memories or thoughts, and must use a separate technique to gather such information.
Any jutsu that requires the full use of the user's consciousness will cause the body to go limp, while any jutsu that uses a piece of the consciousness will elicit a Will Power debuff based on Control for the duration of the technique:
  • 1-9 Control: -1 Will Power
  • 10-19 Control: -3 Will Power
  • 20-24 Control: -6 Will Power
  • 25-34 Control: -9 Will Power

The effectiveness of Yamanaka techniques are dependent on the Will Power stat of the target:
The formula for this calculation is: Control versus the opponents Will Power.
If the user's Control is higher than the opponents Will Power, their technique will be successful.
Ash Style:
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Ash, an extension composed of Fuuton and Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Ash. Ash has an clinging effect, which clings with 1/2 Strength. You must be a former or present Konoha shinobi to utilize this concentration.

Ash Style techniques have a clinging effect. Ash naturally latches onto anything it comes into contact with, which allows it to cause burns over a long period of time, limiting the target's ability to fight and weakening them substantially. Ash Style techniques cause 1st-degree burns on the first post of contact, and these burns grow worse with each additional post of contact. Below is a table detailing the maximum severity of the burns, based on the Strength of the technique.
  • 1-14 Strength Requirement: 1st-degree Burns.
  • 15-24 Strength Requirement: 2nd-degree Burns over 2 posts.
  • 25-34 Strength Requirement: 3rd-degree Burns over 3 posts.

The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.
Deft Hands:
The fundamental skill of [Deft Hands] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their hands in very specific and complex movements, like sleight of hand and targeting very small and specific points on an opponent’s body. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu in various ways.
Acrobatics:
The fundamental skill of [Acrobatics] includes the user’s ability to contort their body into unfamiliar positions in order to avoid attacks, as well as the user’s ability to fall safely and perform Ukemi and other feats of gymnastics. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.

However, it doesn't prevent future processes.

After the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka projects their consciousness at a target in at a speed of [Control] and a range of 10 meters. The Yamanaka does not attempt to take over the target's body, instead they sit in the background experiencing everything that the target does, causing the target to feel a strange presence while affected. This jutsu only functions properly if the target has less Will Power than the user's Control. Since this does not take control over the target's body, the Yamanaka will not receive any damage that the target receives. Lasts for 4 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the hand seals, the Yamanaka sends a portion of their consciousness out at a speed of [Control] and a range of 10 meters. If it makes contact with the target, the Yamanaka can insert a single thought into the target's head. Things such as "this is a bad idea", "Don't go in there" and "attack this." The target will be unable to discern where the thought appeared from if they have less Will Power than the user's Control. The user has a -1 Will Power for the duration of the technique.

After performing the hand seals, the Yamanaka sends a portion of their consciousness out at a speed of [Control] to a range of 10 meters. If it makes contact with the target, the Yamanaka will elicit a debuff of -1 Will Power as they fill a portion of the target's consciousness with blank thought to slow down the target's thought process. This causes -1 Will Power in the Yamanaka themselves for the duration of the technique. The target will be unable to clear the blank spot if they have less Will Power than the user's Control

~Ninjutsu • Memory Exchange
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the hand seals, the Yamanaka will place their hand upon the head of a willing target, and summon up one of their own memories to be transferred into the target's brain. They can only exchange one memory, and it is a one-way transfer as the user can only transfer one memory and cannot receive any other memory. The target will only receive the visual experience of the memory, and will not feel the physical or mental effects of the memory. After the memory has been transferred the technique ends.

After performing the hand seals, the Yamanaka will shoot off a piece of their consciousness that travels at a speed of [Control] at their target. If successful the conscious will begin to overwork the target's senses, and overload it by working their senses double time making them hyper sensitive and susceptible to powerful lights, smells, temperatures, and etc. This technique endures for 3 posts while impeding a -1 Will Power penalty to the user as they focus overloading the target's conscious.

After the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka projects their consciousness towards a target with a speed of [Control] and a range of 25 meters. If this makes contact, the mind of the victim is forced to watch as the Yamanaka controls their actions. If the target has more Will Power than the user's Control, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Control allows them to control basic movement. It should be noted that any damage the possessed opponent suffers will be reflected on the Yamanaka's original body. If avoided or resisted, the consciousness takes one post to find its way back to the body. Lasts for 5 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

After the necessary hand seals, a Yamanaka will anchor their consciousness to an inanimate, chakra-less object. While anchored, the Yamanaka's consciousness must remain within 25 meters of that object and is capable of seeing and hearing what is going on around them. If said object moves, the Yamanaka will be forced to move with it up to a speed of [Control] or take an entire post for the consciousness to find its way back to the body. Lasts for 5 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

If the user tries to force the target to think of something they have no knowledge of, the jutsu will have no effect. Only works on the target if they have less Will Power than the user's Control. After the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka projects a portion of their consciousness with a speed of [Control] and a range of 25 meters. If this makes contact, the Yamanaka can read the target's conscious thoughts. While typically this technique can only be used to learn the target's current thoughts, when used in conjunction with ~Forced Thought, this technique can serve as a valuable interrogation method. Only works if the target has less Will Power than the user's Control. Lasts for 5 posts, eliciting a -3 Will Power for the duration.

After the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka projects their consciousness towards a target with a speed of [Control] and a range of 40 meters. If this makes contact, the mind of the victim is forced to watch as the Yamanaka controls their actions. If the target has more Will Power than the user's Control they will be able to fight off the Yamanaka's control. Control allows them to control movement, speech, and jutsu control based off of the restrictions of the Yamanaka. It should be noted that any damage the possessed opponent suffers will be reflected on the Yamanaka's original body. If avoided or resisted, the consciousness takes one post to find its way back to the body. Lasts for 6 posts, during which the user's body goes limp.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the Yamanaka places their hand upon the target's head as they pull a memory from the target to visualize and experience. From here the Yamanaka copies the memory for themselves being able to recall it at any time as if it were their own. However the Yamanaka may be resisted if the target has less Will Power than the user's Control. This will cause a painful disconnection for the Yamanaka as they are yanked out of the target's consciousness.

After performing hand seals, the user will take a deep breath and expel a cloud of Ash from their mouth at a Speed and Strength equal to [Control]. The cloud will travel 5 meters in a single direction and will cling to whatever it comes into contact with. If it hasn’t made contact with anything after travelling 5 meters, the cloud will harmlessly dissipate.

After performing hand seals, the user will blow a covering of ash onto their hand at a Speed equal to [Control]. Over the course of the next 3 posts, the user will attempt to make contact with their opponent, transferring the Ash on their hand to the person. The Ash has a Strength of [Control] and can be removed by an opponent with equal or higher Strength.

After performing hand seals, the user will expel Ash from their mouth at [Control] Speed. The Ash will form a wall roughly 4 meters high and 2 meters wide with [Control] Strength. Anyone who touches the wall will find that the Ash will cling to them. Unless broken, the wall will remain standing for 3 posts before crumbling harmlessly.

After performing hand seals, the user will expel Ash from their mouth to make a cloud of about 3 meters by 3 meters at a Speed of 9 and with a Strength of 1. This cloud will hang in the air for 3 posts before dissipating. If anyone walks through the cloud, the Ash will cling to them with 3 Strength.

After performing hand seals, a condensed ball of Ash will form in the user’s open hand at a Speed equal to [Control]. They then have 2 posts to throw the ball in an attempt to hit the target with a Speed equal to their Strength and a Strength of [Control]. When the ball makes contact, it will burst into a cloud of Ash roughly 5 meters in all directions that can easily be inhaled by the target, causing burns to their throat and lungs.

C-Ranked

*Ash Style • Ashen Typhoon
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing hand seals, the user will inhale deeply before expelling a large amount of Ash in the form of a whirlwind that is 5 meters tall. The whirlwind moves at a Speed and Strength equal to [Control]. The whirlwind will travel for 25 meters in a straight line unless it comes in contact with something, dispersing into a cloud of Ash which burns its victims upon contact or after travelling the full distance. The cloud of Ash lingers for the remainder of the post before dissipating. Anyone who comes in contact with the Ash will have the Ash cling to them.

After performing hand seals, the user will form a semi-condensed kunai made of Ash. This is designed to be hidden under a normal kunai while thrown. While the kunai will move at normal Speed, the Ash kunai can shoot out from under the kunai at a Speed and Strength equal to [Control]. The Ash from this kunai will cling to anything it touches.

After performing hand seals, the user will create and condense a cloud of Ash into a sword roughly 5' in total length at [Control] Speed. This sword has a Strength equal to [Control] and, when broken, will disperse into a cloud of Ash 3 meters in radius, clinging to anyone who comes into contact with it.

After performing hand seals, the user will create a condensed pile of Ash on the ground at [Control] Speed. This ash will lay dormant until the user performs an additional single-handed seal, causing the pile to explode with [Control] Strength. In addition to the concussive force, the Ash will cling to anything it touche. This pile of Ash will dissipate if not activated within 4 posts.

*Ash Style • Shield of Soot
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing hand seals, the user will create a shield out of Ash at [Control] Speed. The shield has [Control] Strength. Anyone who comes in contact with the shield will have Ash cling to them. If the shield is broken, it will disperse into a cloud of Ash with [Control] Strength, remaining for an extra post before dissipating harmlessly. If unbroken, the shield will last for 5 posts.

B-Ranked

*Ash Style • Fire Pit Arena
B-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing hand seals, the user will emit a large amount of Ash from their mouth in the shape of a dome that is 5 meters high and has a radius of 5 meters as well. The dome forms at a Speed and Strength equal to [Control]. As long as the target does not get within 1 meter of the dome's walls or ceiling, they will remain unharmed for the five post duration. Opponents too close to the dome or attempting to break through with have the Ash cling to them. This dome lasts for up to five posts.

Born to Konoha's Yamanaka house as the middle of three children, being separated from the eldest and youngest by five years each, Inokara had a fairly average upbringing. She was a lively, bubbly young girl with lots of energy and an aura that seemed to brighten any room she was in. She had plenty of friends, and when her parents suggested the idea of becoming a shinobi, she gave an enthusiastic yes. It was surprising as she hadn't really seemed the sort but in truth, the young girl was more than happy to do her part in defending their village.

In the academy she performed well but not exceptionally so, being fairly average in the three jutsu types, though she would later be found to have a soft spot for Taijutsu, as well as being fairly intelligent. She befriended most of her classmates to varying degrees and consistently pleased her teachers with the effort she was willing to put in. And it was as such that some years she graduated, successfully becoming a Genin and being placed onto a team.

As a Genin she was placed under the tutelage of Inuzuka Masami, alongside Inuzuka Minako and one other. Upon the team's first meeting, Masami was a bit rattled by her bubbly cheerfulness, not being particularly used to such an open display of emotion and liveliness, but the woman soon adjusted and the two bonded. Getting along with her teammates though would prove to be a bit rougher.

One day in the early hours of the morning Masami led the trio deep into the forest at which point she left them on their own, though not before explaining her intentions. They had been given a survival exercise, their task to simply survive until nightfall, to find their own food and drink as well as make their own shelter. It was her hope that this task would serve as an opportunity not just for learning but bonding as well. And she would return to find to her pleasure that they had not just bonded but became friends as well, even having instilled a greater appreciation for nature within Inokara and Minako, particularly the latter. The third meanwhile had had enough of the great outdoors which was admittedly disappointing, but nonetheless the original goal had been achieved and lessons had been learned.

Years passed and it soon came time for the Chuunin Exam. It was a rough battle but the trio pushed through, their teamwork overcoming the odds and earning them a promotion to Chuunin.

As a Chuunin, while they would still work together at times, she parted ways with her team and began training in earnest, the exam having taught her that despite her affinity for Taijutsu, her physical ability was lacking. It took a lot of work and a bit of help from her former sensei but eventually she began to gain moe physical strength and gained a good deal of skill in Taijutsu, even picking up a weapon known as the naginata in the process. Though of course she hadn't neglected her Ninjutsu training, gaining greater mastery over her family's techniques and even learning the secrets of Konoha's Ash Style.

When not training she was often off on missions and had even gotten a part time job on the side as a waitress, having always wanted to open a little cafe and deciding it best to get some service experience beforehand, just in case the dream ever came to fruition.

Her time as a Chuunin passed in the blink of an eye and she soon became a Special Jounin, the years passed having caused her to mellow out considerably by this point, though she was still very much bubbly and outgoing. It was likely in part due to her nature that she one day received a mission, to act as a babysitter and protector for a noble's daughter. She and the young girl got along splendidly and the job seemed to be going smoothly. However at a point she let her guard down and was knocked unconscious by a bandit impersonating a maid whom bound her and took the girl.

Upon waking she was feeling a good deal of rage at herself and the kidnapper, her temper flaring as she snapped her bindings and gave chase, her target luckily having not gotten too far, though they did have company. In a fit of righteous anger she took out the group, snapping back to her cheerful self as she picked up the unconscious girl and returned her to her home, the pair resuming their playtime once she awoke.

And so it was that due to her perfomance upon returning home she was granted a promotion to the rank of Jounin, in the process learning her old teammate had received the same, though not without heavy cost.
